I have used this to build thinks quickly. Works as it should. Easy to use and well made. Sturdy and well built.
Expensive but very good quality. It is worth the money. You can hold the handle with the hand for wood thicker than 4cm – it is not a problem (reported in other reviews).
A really well engineered jig that is easy and accurate to use. A bit pricey though…
THIS IS THE BEST POCKET JIG I HAVE EVER OWENED the adjustment and accuracy is Great / yes its not the cheapest on the market but don’t waste money on any other jigs out there this pays for its self on your first project there is nothing i don’t like bought this jig. used daily so i need accuracy. cabinet maker for 45 years, I would have appreciated a nice storage box to go with it as its only in a cardboard box (and is still a good quality one ) but that’s the icing on the cake Love i
Built a wooden stool and a box for my chisels with this ,well made item very sturdy should last a good while
Straight out of the box the product looks great and very well machined. I’ve only tested it out on fixing a chair leg so far, but can’t argue with the results! Would reccomend.
Extremely happy with my purchase of the Howod Pocket Hole Jig it arrived extremely well packed and has a bit of weight to it it is sturdy also has steel drill linings which should be more resistent to wear and tear was looking at the Kreg Jig but they have Aluminium drill inserts which will wear much quicker anyway cant wait to use and have every confidence in it.
Tool works great. Some vertical lines along the holes would make it easier to aim where to drill.
The jig is really a high quality item that is easy to use. I fixed mine to a board for ease of storage and to easily clamp the item down to the bench, otherwise it will slip about.
Never used one before, it’s amazing so easy to use and very straight, needs mounting though.
This is an excellent piece of equipment and really well made yes it is a bit expensive but it is quality and like they say you only get what you pay for this tool will last a life time I can highly recommend it to anyone Best Buy.
The jig is very well made, solid and arrived well packaged. I found the instructions included to contain enough detail and the video, for which there is a link, to provide extra clarity. The jig is easy to set-up, use and the pocket holes drilled were found to be clean and precise.
Very happy with this purchase and would therefore recommend this jig.
I was pleasantly surprised. The whole thing is very well made and is solid, it was well packaged and came with clear instructions.
My few snags that were noted was that the instructed clearance at the end of the drill bit was a bit close, but I will just remember to use a coin rather than the instructed paper as clearance.
The other thing was on first use you do get a little bit of metal shaving from the pocket but I’ve put this down to wearing in process.
Overall extremely happy with my purchase and I would highly recommend this tool to anyone.
