I needed a replacement for my old spear and Jackson. This looked like a good make at a reasonable price. It feels solid and is much more powerful than my old one. Cuts much deeper and has a longer reach. Batteries are interchangeable so I intend to buy more of this brand.
Not too heavy and can be used by a woman or older person without too much difficulty. Not long purchased however after charging battery, using once, storing for a couple of weeks, I was able to use again for a quick task without having to re-charge.
I bought this to try and tame some shrubs, i’m not a youngster (in my 70s) and i wondered if it would be light enough for me to handle. Well, it is, and cuts through shrub stems with ease. for woody branches, it copes, but just about. but that’s not what it is intended for. Does the job it’s meant for, recharges quickly, and yes, it works for me!
Having used a petrol hedge trimmer for over 15 years, when my latest 10 yr old trimmer failed. I am now retired and not as fit as I once was so decided to try something lighter. I feared that this would not match the performance of my petrol unit, but was very surprised. This cuts well is extremely easy to use due to the lightness and the battery easily lasts the time I need to cut my hedges. Recommended
Sounds a little tinny at first but sprayed with lubricant and was okay after. Great battery life.

Much lighter than petrol versions. Effective cutting hedge and easy to use. Fairly lightweight.
