I have issues with my back so mowing the lawn is not particularly enjoyable! I got this specifically for it being lightweight, and it certainly is. Added bonus of being able to put stripes on the lawn!
Bought this for my wife to use when I’m not about. It arrived as promised, was simple to put together and seems solid enough, it’s not as noisy as the other mower and it’s light enough for my wife to handle and manoeuvre easily and does a good job of cutting the grass. She’s happy so I’m happy.
I bought this to replace my elderly Mountfield that finally died last month. I was very impressed with the performance for such a value for money price. Easy to assemble, very easy to use, and it gets the job done. No complaints.
I just bought a Hyundai Lawnmower. It arrived earlier than expected with good instructions as to how to put it together, has a nice long cord, unusual for appliances these days, so well appreciated. I have yet to use it, but will add more info, later when I have.
Arrived with all bits and in perfect condition. Assembly was very simple and it looks like it’s going to be a nice little lawn mower. I like the height adjustment system.
Very light but does a good job, I should of bought a bigger 1 because it is small my garden isn’t big either but it takes time with how small it is. Cuts the grass well and easy to empty, it’s a good little mowe
Bought as a replacement for my long-serving Bosch mower. They are generally comparable but; I find cutting height adjustment easier on the Hyundai mower as the spring mechanism is not as stiff. However, the gap between the “medium” cutting height and the lowest is quite significant. In practice, I set the front wheels to medium cut and the back wheels to short cut and this produced a satisfactory compromise. All in all, very happy with this product.
Been looking for a mulching lawnmower for a while, definitely value for money, but did lose one clip that holds the wire, nearly lost the other one too, might put some zip ties around it as I can’t lose them, but overall great item
Cuts grass well happy with it for the price the only reason I knocked off a star was that the grass box was a pain to put together the bottom bit was easy it was attaching bottom bit to top part that was fiddly also adjusting grass height was difficult, the front was easy as you could pull the axel but the back axel is blocked by the roller so you have to do it by pulling wheels from outside OK once you got hang of it but will I remember how to do it next year, probably no
Read the instructions easy assembly. Simple to use tested the 3 cutting levels perfect for the smaller garden would recommend this lawn mower and give it 5 stars for assembly and ease of use.
OK, too small for mowing a meadow, but a perfectly good compact mower, suitable for a small, to smaller mid-size garden. I like the additional mulching function, and the assembly was quick and easy.
3 year warranty is a nice feature, you hope you won’t need it but it’s a nice-to-have.
This lawn mower is very good, especially as it has a mulcher which means I just leave the grass cuttings on the lawn. So it’s feeding the lawn. The cable is not very long which is a nuisance. Also I had to get someone else to assemble it for me. They also thought that part a bit time consuming. Not easy to do.
Very good engine and cutting blades but the grass box was difficult to assemble and fell apart – possibly my fault. Was disappointed as the Hyundai shredder is awesome and I don’t understand how they got the grass box so wrong.
It is easy to use and cuts the grass well and picks up the grass cuttings.
It represents good value for money.
Only one minor criticism is the power chord cannot be disconnected from the mower.

I like the colour the lightweight of it. Having downsized to a garden a quarter of what I had it’s ideal and has a roller giving a finished look.
Mulching plug works very well. Grass clippings are dropped in same spot and do not fly around
My trust Mountfield petrol mower died and it was terminal. Bless it.
Anyway I wanted an electric replacement because of the cost of petrol and oil.
Had a look at the usual suspects at B&Q but nothing really impressed me. And the wife has a blue Hyundai car so I thought it would be semi amusing to buy a blue Hyundai mower.
Unboxing and assembly was slightly tricky – instructions written and drawn by someone who has never put something together before again.
Once out together, I took it out for a “spin”. It’s super light – you can carry it on to the lawn (whereas the petrol one needed a ramp). The cutting width is slightly less than my old petrol mower but that makes it manoeuvrable and easy to use. Cable kept getting on the way but I’m yet to use an electrical garden tool where that’s not the case.
Does a canny job of cutting the grass and lets you do those nice football stripes. Well as best you can on my awful lawn.
Genuinely, this is a cracking little tool. Buy with confidence.
Never been disappointed with any of the Hyundai products that I have purchased. This mower is exactly what we required, lightweight with three easy to adjust cut heights. All the grass cuttings go into the box so no having to brush up afterwards.There is a mulch attachment should you require it and the stripe finish is a bonus, well done Hyundai yet another excellent item produced.
I decided to purchase this after yet another flymo broke down mid use. Very easy to put together and so much faster my garden was done in less than half hour it’s a brilliant machine.
Started with one Hyundai product, now seem to be replacing one product after another with Hyundai. Very impressed with this little mower.
Really easy to assemble, very light, easy to change the cut height, mulching option and huge grassbox. Very quiet and powerful motor and easy-to-use hand controls. It’s a great all-rounder and with a 3-year warranty, you can’t go wrong!

my only moan is putting the grass box together…it comes in 3 bits and just clips together but you need a extra pair of hands

I use this lawn mower to keep my grass short and neat. As I am now suffering with arthritis I find it easier to use than my previous petrol mower.
The bottom of my garden is wild grasses 3 to 4ft high uneven ground,40 ft long took couple of hours and 9 full grass boxes but it did the job really well, found it easy to clean look forward to cutting my small normal grass should be a picnic after tha
best mower i have had by far. easy enough to assemble. at first i thought it had a rubbish cut but then realised i hadnt lowered both wheels. after that it was the best cut and got rid of all the small flowers that grow on my lawn so now my dog can safely walk on it without getting stung by bees. the cable is more than long enough to reach all my large lawn and the mower itself is very ligh
Very easy to assemble clear instructions although the worded instructions are different to the picture of the upper to lower handle fixing which is reversed apart from that no problems. As it’s only a 1200watt it can seem to get a bit bogged down in very long damp grass. Easy to manoeuvre and to adjust the height of the wheels , fills the basket fully and simple to remove and refit.

Having replaced a very temperamental petrol mower it’s gratifying that this unit starts first time. Easy to assemble, cuts and collects the grass well and is easy to clean. Only downside, when comparing with the petrol mower, is changing the cut height, which involves turning over and moving four spring loaded wheels on two axles. Bit of a faff but not really a problem.
Easy to assemble, the machine cuts well, has the benefit of a roller for stripes. Hopefully it will last a long time.

The instructions for assembly were easy to follow. The one slight exception was the collection box – it was fiddly and one requires patience!!! On the whole the machine is good for me, it is light and will be easy to use. I cannot wait for the weather to improve to test out the product.

Easy to assemble and use. Creates great stripes. Now after a few months use the wheel covers are coming off (cosmetic rather than an issue) and a part of the frame has come loose. Works well otherwise

Buying a big item like this on line is a bit daunting, but we need not have worried. The Hyundai is everything we wanted in a lawn mower – easy to use, efficient and quiet – and the grass is looking better too!

This mower is ideal for my small & medium lawns, I also like the height of the handle. I’m 6 foot 1 and half inches tall and can mow without stooping. I’ve never used a mower with a mulch plug: but I’m sure it will be a useful function.
Used twice so far because of the rain. It’s easy to use, not too heavy, and not as noisy as our last lawnmower.

I have never used this make before and was very pleased with the outcome. It cuts well AND leaves a stripe. Highly recommended. Some of the adverse reviews nearly put me off and I wonder if we were talking about the same machine
Lightweight and simple mower.
Height adjustment is nice. Mulching is a extra benefit, no need to visit the local tip as often. Rear roller is too small and light to leave strips.
Its more than capable for my small 35m2 lawn. Cuts through my grass even when damp.
If only it was able to store better. Handle does not folder in a very easy/useful manner.

Only con observed – I was delayed by about 6 weeks cutting my lawn and it had grown, well a little wild. I noticed that this lawn mower struggled to cut through the heavy lawn bits and also ended up throwing around 50% of the grass back to the ground rather than in the collector box. It would also suddenty stop as if giving up. I reviewed the setup, made sure it was stuck, the mulching plug was removed etc. but clearly it looked like the product struggles with managing too much of grass.
Nice mower for the money and does a good job. Would have been nice if the flex was a bit longer though.

Very clear instructions is the first tick, lightweight and really easy to use, this is a little gem for my lawn.
The mower only took about 30minutes to set up.
With it on a middle setting of the cutting height gives a really good finish even on quite a steep bank.

Good, light, easy to use mower. You just need to get used to managing the cable. Not for you if you want to cut a field but I’ve found it excellent in my small urban garden.
I hadn’t cut my grass for an month and this machine just ploughed through with ease. The basket is slightly fiddly to assemble from box but easy enough once it’s together to fix to the main body of the mower overall impressed

All feature worked as promesed, The mower looks very smart. The one slight problem was puttung the cuttings collection together. After trying for about 10 mins. My wife took over she had no problem at all .

Really easy to use with a left and right handed power switch, which is nice. It comes with a mulching facility so you do not need the grassbox. A nice touch is that the blade is belt driven instead of the usual direct drive. Every part is available and very well priced. Does the job very well and with three height settings, a rear roller, nice results are to be had. Never owned this make before but now I have, I will never go back to the orange ones which don’t last and cannot be easily repaired! Superb for the price.

Very light and easy to use, the grass looks good after mowing
The only reason it’s got 4 not 5 stars is that the grass box is a bit fiddly as is the height adjustment. Saying that, you only put the grass box together once and the height adjustment just needs a moment or two to work out.
its easy to assemble, though the cable tie used to secure the mains cable should be clearer in the instructions, otherwise it’s simple.
Operation is as easy as it gets and being so light, it’s difficult not to to see that’s not to like.
If there was a criticism it would be that it’s blue, but that’s irrelevant as is the fact it’s mainly plastic, it dos a great job. I especially like the option to mulch or collect grass cuttings, nice touch.

I saw this lawnmower and couldn’t believe how good it is. It came at a very competitive price and is worth every penny. Easy to put together but you must have patience. Also comes with a mulcher where you can put grass back as food for your lawn. Love it, very easy to push used it on very long grass last week went through it like a storm trouper. Very pleased with my buy.
