Setting the time in U.K. can be problematic as has to be manually set up usually by syncing time from phone. However if for any reason camera has to be disconnected from mains, it does not remember time setting and when running again will require time resetting. Only observation though as really good piece of kit and humanoid feature is very useful.
Excellent camera with good features.
Fitted to outside wall with cables through brick cavity wall. Beware the cables are only just long enough to reach through a standard 9 inch wall. However apart from that it all went well and worked with app first time. Connected WiFi via RJ45 port and plug through WiFi mains extender, so no issues with WiFi signal.
Did have a problem with adding the app on my tablet as well as phone but support quickly advised what I needed to do.
Will consider buying another soon.

Had trouble to install app to phone with uid they asked for. But in the end I got it sorted.

Good ip camera, harder to set up compared with the Iegeek floodlight camera which I installed a couple of months ago, but works very well.
Good clear image
WiFi signal strength in my house is below recommended level but camera still works fine. Easy to set up.
Very good camera
It was simple to install apart from get the electric to the camera and making sure it was waterproof. It lost its wifi connection on one occasion which was a pain but other than that it is well worth the money. Quality is good and app works well. Recommended.
Does what's Expected
Easy to connect and operate a well made piece of kit with lots of features via app. I will be purchasing another to fit to other part of house that’s how well it worked.
Ok but not for me
The image wasn’t that clear could not identify people unless 2 meters or less away. The mains cable was easily take out by anyone I only a few feet from camera, was not compatible with Alexa which really turned it for me. Easy to install and it’s no problems app was easy to use close picture quickly was good and motion and tracking was good. Over all I would give it 6 out of 10. But on the positive side the customer service is 1st class and I would have to give that 10/10 but unfortunately the camera was not what I wanted.
Very good camera though needs alteration to control software
This is a very effective camera though it depends on a good internet connection (mine is mounted on a garage 20 feet from the house and we have mesh internet)
One thing which should be improved is that if the camera loses internet connection the control menu cannot be altered (say to select a new internet connection) and you have to reboot the camera locally and then connect it using its own Wi-Fi connection.
Control is easy and the definition is good on HD. Recall of alarms is easy also.
Fantastic camera at a reasonable price
When you look at all the features you get in this camera for the money you pay it really is good value. Excellent app control and easy to setup. The picture quality is excellent and recording to the memory card is simple to setup. It’s also very good that you can view all recorded footage in the minute blocks which can be downloaded easily to a phone or tablet. The option or black and white night vision or full colour is also useful. Overall you really can’t go wrong with this camera. Pan tilt and zoom is simple and you can also get full sound through the camera.

This camera has been excellent over the last year, but now the SD card is not recognisable and cannot record any footage, the camera still works but will not record anything

This is a second purchase of this security camera.
Having had my works van broken into late last year and all my tools stolen decided to buy my first security camera and purchased one of these as it offered easy setup, WiFi ability and recoding facilities.
On receiving the camera, was really pleased with my purchase.
Installing the camera onto a wall and now a shed was straight forward and easy. Setting the app up on the phone was ok but had a few issues but once reset and reattached to network work all ok.
We have found the functionality very good and both me and my wife have the app for monitoring.
The floodlight help as a good deterrent and video capture quality is excellent and easily downloaded from the camera but has the added feature that even if the network goes down the SD card (optional extra) captures the videos.
Defiantly buy again as have done and added a second camera to cover the garden and defiantly buy a 128Gb SD card.
Easy to set up
Easy to set up, easy to install, I have hard wired mine with an ethernet cable for better control, wifi works well and loading onto mobile phone again easy to do as is the application for viewing on my desktop computer, really clear images from the camera and the control of movement is simple and straight forward.
Really well made and looks to be built to last. A really all round good camera system much better than my previous one. My wife and I were so impressed with the first camera that we have now bought two more.
Great camera
I bought 2 to replace my yi home cameras. The housing does feel cheaply made but don’t let that put you off. The infra red night vision is very clear and bright. The color night vision is just normal vision lit up with led lights. I have a Qnap NAS and these are compatible with QVR Pro app so no need for ad cards or cloud services. The other bonus of these cameras is you can change the password so hackers will be deterred.
Great camera and service
This is a really good camera and easy to install and setup. Really good quality video and images. The app “CamHipro” very easy to use and setup.
The Camera sensitivity is way better than I thought it would be. The spot light at night is really useful. night vision video is impressive.
I got this one for the front (driveway).
I already set up an ieGeek IE20 camera for the back garden, this one is IE50.

This camera was a little bigger than I expected and the instructions not terribly clear, also be aware it needs to be connected to a power source, but it’s a well made product, seems to operate well ( haven’t had it very long ) it wasn’t too difficult to connect it to my internet and the App gives overall control of the camera, also shows a nice clear picture, I think it’ll do the job it’s intended for very well, all in all a good product.

Bought this this to replace my superb iegeek 1080p bullet WiFi camera, which has been ultra reliable. As I had an incident where someone tried to tamper with my car, and as I couldn’t see enough detail in the infrared B&W picture I wanted to upgrade to a colour night security camera with a sensor light. It all worked great, the motion sensor, the light, it’s just that I needed a higher quality image and as igeek don’t do 4k cameras I had to send it back for a refund, which was no problem at all and was hassle free to do and I got my money back almost instantly after I had put the camera into the post. I would not hesitate to buy off this company again when igeek starts selling 4k security cameras, as the software is more superior than other makes…
IE50 camera
I bought this camera a few days ago, and had no problem linking it to my Wi-Fi and connecting it to my pc, IPad and phone. Good clear picture. I intend for it to be used outside but due to the adverse British weather have been unable to do this at the minute, but everything is ready to do so, therefore I can’t comment on its waterproofing and out door use. But overall it seems a good camera for the price.

Reasonable price camera couldn’t set it on wi-fi works ok connected to the router picture and colour is good sound is fine haven’t put it on the wall yet until I have sorted the WiFi connection but in all looks good works well don’t think it will disappoi

Does what it should
This is a good camera for our purpose to overview street parking. We had fixed cameras previously which meant we had to try a park in the same spot each time, which, if you are familiar with street parking you will know this is fairly impossible. This is great because it can be moved accordingly. The day picture quality is brilliant and the night vision is good. Also it is good to have sound. All in all a good buy

Great camera at a good price. Was very pleased with the camera, then we had a problem with the camera when using the SD card, so contacted ieGeek for advice, they sent us a free camera which arrived within 2 days. All working fine again now, very pleased. The customer service from ieGeek is very good and the agent was very helpful and kept in touch daily until the issue was resolved. The issue with the camera has not put me off buying again from ieGeek as the customer service is excellent.

This is a good purchase
If you are looking for a good security camera, look no further. This has lots of options you can use on it, record videos, track motion, it even follows my dog down the garden. Good night vision and has an inter com so you can speak to someone outside, many auto set positions and best of all you can operate it with your smart phone from anywhere. I am very happy with it. ( I placed mine on the rear corner of our house so I can monitor the back and then rotate it to look up the side of the house to the front gate.

Pointless product. The 2 way talk doesn’t work at all. I went through the customer support and they blamed my Internet. However, when someone rings, I can barely hear them. But when I mute my mic, their volume becomes perfect, but of course they can’t hear me as I’m muted. This is on Android. There is also a noticeable and annoying lag between video and audio. The problems aren’t there on iOS, which seems to be a software issue, not my internet! I am tempted to put this in the bin as the seller also refused to refund me! Don’t waste your money on this rubbish, don’t believe the high rating, it isn’t worth your money! 2* instead of 1* just because they did try and help, but didn’t in the end!
Edit: after leaving this review, seller refunded me so I’ve changed to 4*.
Good solid camera at a good price
Using this camera externally for monitoring the driveway. Easy to setup, though same old issue trying to connect a bulky transformer plug externally. (Used a large waterproof junction box in the end).
Wifi reception/range seems OK.
Motion detection works, but again, usual problem with a slight delay in the recording starting, and footage sometimes missing the reason for triggering. Also sometimes triggering on shadows from the trees, but again I think this is a common problem/challenge.
Recording to SD card seems to work very well, not tried the cloud service.
Overall a good camera for the price, and very happy so far.
