Brought this camera to keep track of deliveries at front door/gate, arrived as expected, but you do need a Micro SD fro operation. Quickly setup and connected to guest account on wifi. (Only works on 2.4 ghz, but works with networks with blended 2.4/5ghz) App easy to install, and allows for alerts, or just review of historical data. Personally don’t have the alerts switched on, just use the history if package isn’t delivered.
As you can see pic quality of this camera is amazing and even better is that this camera is only picking up people and other movement I’d not being detected such as cars and trees.
I bought an SD card which is doing what it should meaning no need for icloud subscription fees.
I’m so impressed I am going to but another for the back of my house.
Bought this to update our older Camera. Have to say the picture quality is very good. We found the best option is to turn off humanoid detection. That way you will see any movement as it happens. With humanoid detection on, you tend to only see the tail end of the video. With it off, you will capture any movement. It does mean camera is going off a lot but it will mean you can see what set it off. Luckily I have put a charging cable through our wall so when it needs charging I simply turn on the plug, no need to charge via the solar panel. So far, I’m pleased with the purchase.

I use it to monitor my chicken run. Works good enough for me. Motion sensor wakes up camera even when it’s just a mouse passing by.
So I have and igeek camera and a ring doorbell camera and I actually believe the igeek is more sensitive therefor a better system I’ve seen reviews where others were unable to get the light working but I was able to do this
… also with igeek they have checked up to make sure all is well with the system and if you need any extra help with set up …. both good systems but for me the igeek covers a bigger area and is quicker to alert of movement hardest bit of set up was splitting the router ….

Brought this and wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was. In fact it’s way more than expected. The app is easy to use and makes things easier. You can set it up to exactly how you want it to be. Brilliant and I am going to buy another one soon!
I’ve had an igeek camera before and still working after many years. I decided to upgrade to a solar version to reduce cables and not worry about power. This works easily and the app is better to use too.

This camera is a great solution for anyone that doesn’t have a suitable location to place wired cameras . The picture quality is great , but could do with maybe a zoom function. Night vision is extremely clear and considering I have a high activity of motion detection the battery seems to be doing pretty well. I haven’t tested the solar panel yet but will hopefully in the next few weeks . I’ve bought more expensive cameras than this and have been disappointed with them so if you’re looking for a good quality budget friendly camera then give it a try
I purchased this item as a replacement for one that wasn’t very good at all, similar in design, but inferior in quality. I was impressed with the speed that the item was delivered and found the setting up very easy. I was also very impressed with ieGeek’s post purchase contact, asking if everything was as it should be, that’s something that just didn’t happen with my previous camera purchase. So well done ieGeek, keep up the excellent work.
The camera provides excellent quality surveillance video coverage. Battery is topped-up via a solar panel.
Sensitivity and coverage can be adjusted so as to prevent unwanted alerts from passing traffic etc.
Very impressive night vision, alarm and voice communication is also included.

Great all round camera. Only downside is the very occasional not picking up of motion but would still recommend.
Easy to set up, not had to charge it up even through the greyest UK winters.
For what i wanted this for i am impressed considering the price was quite cheap,we have ours attached to the shed pointing at our path for down the side of the house,it still manages to charge itself in this horrible wet cloudy winter we are having in cumbria,the app connection is great and i set an area for motion detection which works fine,picture quality is quite good and the option to zoom in is great,no need for any payment subsriptions just a memory card, night vision is fine and when it picks up a motion at night the flash light comes on so quite a good deterent,you can also get it to make a police siren noise or an alarm noise from the app if you wanted to scare someone away that shouldnt be there. Good bit of kit and easy to install

App is fantastic tonuse and you can set up a grid for motion detection so every car that passes doesn’t set it off.

Having setup my new camera the quality is amazing; I have 3 cameras in total. I had an issue with one, but the customer service teams were very helpful And, in the end, gave me a replacement camera which now works fine. Very pleased with this camera can recommend.
This a a good product if you are looking to just pick up people and animals. If you are looking to pick up vehicles then i would look at a different product, but over all a good all-round security camera.
Camera is okay during the daytime but not vision is very poo
The app is great with plenty of features. The human detection works a treat and so does the zoning option. Notifications are promp too.
Picture quality is superb day and night with the built-in light giving full colour night mode. The built in siren is loud and volume is customisable. The option to talk to someone through the camera is a nice feature too.
The item itself is quite compact and the solar panel works amazingly well keeping the battery topped up to 100% most of the time.
I installed a 32gb card in the camera expecting this to run out but found that the recordings are well compressed and take very little room.
All in all I am very happy with the camera, solar panel and app.
This is my 3rd I geek solar camera, I now have 3 around my property and they are excellent!!
Motion detection a little hit and miss. Not bad for the money though
Very disappointed you can’t record on SD card continuously! Press record on app but when you srink app it shuts down recording! Set to highest motion detection but doesn’t work! Can see people but can’t see faces clearly!Had 7 free day trail with cloud that was a waste of time!

Had 50% refund after my 1st review. 14 months later and on 3rd charge, couldn’t charge due to charging port on camera had fallen inside of camera. Got in touch with Tiya Liu from ieGeek explained what had happened, they quickly responded and sent me a new upgraded version of camera for free.
Received camera December 22nd 2023, managed to get it fitted on 24th. Charging port which is a USB-C model which is better than previous version, solar panel is smaller. Only been a few days of use, finding better KB/s on this camera not losing any WiFi connection, old one was bad for it, motion detection seems alot better to.
Tiya was very helpful and willing to help resolve any issues.
Unfortunately my unit developed a fault, but one ieGeek were aware they arranged so shipment of a new one, promptly.
Decent picture and excellent motion sensor,only just installed it…so far so good.time will tell.
I purchased 3 of these cameras for multiple angles of my property and I am happy with this product.
Set up / installation was very easy with the steps to on the app.
The camera quality is good and most definitely fit for purpose.
The motion sensor has worked well and the light / siren feature you can activate from your phone is also very good.
I emailed ieGeek to help with mulitple users on the app and they responded very quickly with the help I needed.
Overall I do not regret buying this item.
I have used ieGeek camera’s in the past and always found them to be great quality and value. The battery, on a full charge can last for weeks depending on the amount of motion triggers, but with a solar panel positioned correctly i have run the camera’s non stop through a whole year. The picture quality at QHD is excellent and i really like the additions of a siren and a light. I recommend these camera’s to friends who use them as successfully as me.
Easy to set up. Does every thing it said it would and the quality of the image is good . So far so good after 10/ days
We have this at my mums front door and it works perfectly fine. It can sometimes be a little slow to connect to it from phone, but this is similar with most of these camera types. The good thing with this one is:
1) Snapshot of motion detected with notification
When you get notified of motion detection on the phone, it includes a small picture of what’s caused the alarm. this is very useful as you can see straight away if its just the postie or window cleaner for example.
2) Set motion detection sensitivity and boundary
You can set it to only trigger if motion is detected within a certain area, and ignore other areas. Useful if the camera overlooks a road or some other area with motion event that are of no particular interest. This seems to work fine.
3) Included solar panel
While the battery would last I’m sure for a couple of months without needing re-charged, with the included solar panel, it just means you never need to worry about taking the camera down to recharge it.
We have a motion sensitive light included in the same area as the camera, so night vision is always illuminated by that, but we did briefly have it placed at the side of the house and without the additional light, it was difficult to see much of what was happening if anything triggered the alarm. You therefore may want to consider a security light as well as this camera if night time alarms are something you need
Really not bad for the price, though the battery life doesn’t seem to be as good as it says it is, fully charged mine lasts around 4-5 days with moderate traffic on the street. Still I am going to purchase another for the back garden as more pros then cons. Overall very happy with the camera.
Great picture during the day.
Need to be a bit more careful on the position of the camera for the nighttime picture quality. I had mine too close to a white wall which caused too much glare for nighttime. Very easy to adjust for this!
The ability to use a siren, or light of loud speaker is good, to warn any would be intruders.
I have yet to install any SD cards, but will be doing this in the future.
Overall I am very happy and I will be looking to get more camera in the furture to cover all my property.
Works absolutely amazing! Easy to install and does what it says. Happy with the product. I am going to buy for my backyard as well. Solar panel and power saver mode keeps the battery charge all the time.
Excellent product for the price! Only drawbacks are that the start/reset buttons have to be pressed hard and the SD card is a bit fiddly to insert. Other than that the picture quality and range are superb. Does the job perfectly. Would thoroughly recommend.
This camera has provided added security in our garden. Using the recommended CloudEdge software on our phones works well & provides a clear alert when the motion detector is triggered. We have both foxes & badgers visit are garden (collect photos on a trail camera) and the sensitivity adjustment makes it easy not to get unwanted alarms during the night without reducing security as human activity is still easily detected.
but if you can work with these slight issues what’s not to like.
Brilliant image quality even at night and easy to set up I am not on a busy road so it points down a long drive and only records action within 8-10 yards
I bought this camera to cover the front of my house, after being impressed by the solar powered one I bought for the rear.
From the easy install process using the app on my phone to the simple wireless install of the product. I have the battery only version, which some people would avoid thinking it will need charging all the time. Well that is wrong, once set up the battery is only used when the camera activates, or is accessed by the user from the app. I disconnected the solar panel on my rear camera to test, it only used a small percentage in a couple of weeks. If you have an issue charging due to location or activation, just buy the solar panel for about 30 at time of posting, and plug it in, that’s it.
Ease of use, as I said, install app, click on help and follow instructions, it takes minutes. Install and position camera where you want, and depending on the model, you can even set an activation alert for a specific area, all via the app on your phone or tablet.
Did I mention it has nightvision, an intercom and active microphone, there is even a warning siren built in.
Add a memory card to keep the recordings, or use the cloud service, all the info is in the box.
Overall, great product, I have received excellent customer service and would recommend.
I have bought a number of ieGeek CCTV for myself and friends over the past 3 years. This is the first solar-powered unit I have purchased. It was very easy to set-up and install, and the solar panel works well, much easier than having to route a power supply cable. The picture quality and motion detection are first-rate.

I have two of these cameras to monitor my garage and it is certainly worth the money. Image quality is good and the microphone function is also very useful. Easy to set up. I had a problem with one of my cameras and they sent me a brand new one which worked perfectly. The only slight drawback is the battery life. I was expecting 6 months worth according to what I’ve read, but i find it is more like a couple of months. On the whole I am very satisfied with it and it does the job.
Works well remotely although it take a little while to connect and show the video.
I have a it on the highest energy usage,it’s in direct sunlight for half a day and battery is always currently fully charged.
Great camera for the price, had a few issues setting up the camera seemed to go from one extreme to the other too sensitive picking every movement up to not picking anything up, contacted company for advice, they responded quickly and were helpful, easy to install, night vision is good or you can set it up so the light comes on and then the video will be in colour, notification through the app straight to your phone, Solar panel included so that so far seems to charge the battery when the battery drops to 60% the battery management in the app shows when it’s in charging mode otherwise it shows you the battery percentage. Thinking of ordering another one soon.
We got this camera for peace of mind in a side passage down the side of our house, it has worked exceedingly well. Image and audio are superb, but the night vision is terrible.
Only had to charge it twice so far, and both times done at around 40%, which is excellent for a few months use.
Connected easily and works flawlessly. I’d happily consider more in future if they were needed.

Had an issue with the camera I bought, customer service sorted it straight away.
I bought 2 cameras. One of them had problem with the Swivel Stand, so i could not connect it to the wall. I contacted the support and the seller, and they provided me with a new one.
This camera exceeds expectation, it is easy to put up. It takes very good photos and is very adjustable, you can easily change the distance for the images. The Solar panel works really well on charging the battery. Also the CloudEdge App. is easy to install on smartphone and very easy to navigate with all information easily available.
It’s very good cctv camera, and excellent customer service bought one camera but it was faulty and it’s replaced a New one without a hassle.

I brought this camera for my in laws after purchasing a white on for ourselves and seeing how great they are. My in laws do not live in the UK we took with us and set up for them the app etc worked same as here in uk. However the solar panel was not working which we discovered after coming home but the customer service has been outstanding hence the 5 stars still even with the issue.
What an amazing piece of kit I didn’t set it up properly so contacted iGeek there after sales support is amazing after they gave me advice on how to setup properly I am now getting some amazing videos the quality is second to none I will share one with the foxes in our garden I use them as wildlife cameras and all I can say is wow
This camera was up and running within a few minutes of unboxing. It is easy to change the settings remotely using the app, from anywhere in the World. It can be used for live monitoring and also records footage when triggered by motion. It runs on a battery that will last for up to 6 months before needing a recharge.
This camera is excellent value for money. I am going to buy more and will be able to monitor all the cameras from the app.
