Saw this camera, wanted a solar powered one which could hold an SD card. This is brilliant does the job brilliantly. Great picture and able to speak to people too, made a passer by jump when I told my son he was weird as he pulled a face. Cracking piece of ki
La notice n est pas tres explicite, le paramtrage simple, install ok manquait juste l info en Francais que les accu sont emballs individuellement, sav trs reactif donc dballer pour que cela fonctionne. Pour l instant content du rsulta
The camera can be set to activates with the motion sensor thus saving you battery and and storage space. Importantly the day and night vision picture quality is very clear and sharp. It is definitely enough to pick out identifying features of unwanted intruders.
14 metres away from the hub and the connection seems strong as it connects quite quick. There is plenty of cable for the solar panel to be put up high. The picture is very good and was impressed with the night vision . I can keep an check on the animals in the barn and turn it round and look out into the field with the 360 pan and tilt to give more vision which works great. It does what expected and more with a light and speaker and you can swithch off options so it doesn’t use the battery energy. So far its good, time will tell on how long the batteries last with the solar charging i made sure the four batteries that come with it were fully charged first . It was abit fiddly trying to open the battery box and figure out how it all went together , but i kept a calm head and done it as the instructions don’t go into detail. Happy panning.
The first one is at the front of the house, the second will be in the back garden today.
I found them both very easy to set-up, the solar cell recharges the batteries and has been sufficient to keep the batteries charged despite an awful non-sunny UK summe
It needs a minimum of four x 18650 button-top batteries but they are supplied. Initially, I fully charged them using an external charger. They were easy enough to remove and insert in the cam and they fit snuggly. I haven’t needed to remove them since as they are now charged by daylight via the supplied solar panel.
I have my solar panel sitting on top of my camera but it can be mounted independently using the supplied 15 feet cable.
I like how the power is stored when the camera goes into sleep mode which is when no movement is detected. It immediately activates and records when motion is detected. I find this works well. I’ve inserted an 64GB SD card which isn’t supplied, for recording purposes. I think it’s good that the cam auto-deletes old data on the card and replaces with new.
I have set up night vision for monochrome recording as I think it looks better. Night colour vision is also available. The actual hd imagery, I am impressed with the quality. I find that the motion detection is activated from about 20 feet or so and it works effectively with no noticeable lag.
I am totally happy with it’s performance and quality and we consider it good value for money and peace of mind. Recommended.
