Best thing we have bought in lockdown.. kids have been in it constantly, bought a filter, heater and solar cover for it and it is so warm, my 6 year old can actually swim in it as can my 10 year old, we have all been in it even the dog. It’s been up for weeks now and very sturdy.
Bought before lockdown at a good price, ground needs to be level. Some reviews state the frame has started to rust this has not happened for me? I have had the pool up filled and in use all through lockdown. The pool in long and deep enough to be used with a bungee swimming cord by teenagers and tall adults.
First off, we got this for a really good price last Summer. We went for just the pool itself as a couple of years before we got one of the circular ones with the inflatable top and that came with a basic filter but this was pretty poor. This time around, a lot of chlorine, manual skimming and occasional use of the pond vac to clean the floor and sides and do a bit of filtering! We’ve had to empty and refill once so far as it did sit neglected for a couple of weeks, so that was our fault.
Pool is a good size for kids. I can sort of swim in it but do bang my knees on the bottom! Seems pretty sturdy and we have now assembled, taken apart, and re-assembled with no issues. We did find a small hole in the lining but it was quite crudely bundled up and shoved in a shed, so I’m not surprised. However, it’s near the top and the supplied repair kit has so far done its job.
Have noticed a bit of rust on the frame poles. This seems to be where they slot in to each other so I think the protective paint has been scraped off when inserting them and this is where a bit of rust has set in. Doesn’t look too bad but only time will tell. I guess you could just treat the effected bits with Hammerite or something but I imagine the liner will go before the frame.
Draining is a bit of a pain as the drain hole is not right at the base of the pool so you have a couple of inches of water left in the bottom. Some of this can be enticed down the drain by lifting the pool end up and generating some waves, but will certainly not get rid of all. For that you’ll need to bucket out, or, use a pond vac if you have one. It’s surprising how heavy even an inch of water is so you can’t really take this apart properly until fully empty.
For the price we paid, we were happy for it to last one long Summer. To get another is a bonus and to be fair, now we’ve done it, there’s no reason to think it won’t do next year at least either. The only thing I would say is drain it, clean it and store it before the weather turns. We didn’t and it ended up sitting out in the garden for several weeks in the terrible Autumn weather. This resulted in a quite filthy liner and it took a lot of cleaning.
Only downside for me is that I now want a bigger one. With a sand filter. And robo cleaner. And skimmer…………
Great product, very easy to assemble and take down. Takes a long time to fill. It took me 8 hours but well worth the wait. I would recommend buying the pool cleaning/chlorine tablets first. I bought the pool without the filter and i couldn’t get the tablets anywhere for weeks. So after a few days had to change the water.

Great pool and a great size for my 3 and 4 year old, they are practising their push and glide skills!!
Seems sturdy although a little rust showing after 2 months but I suppose it’s to be expected being constantly wet! Would be more than happy if it only lasted a year but I think we’ll get 2!
Easy to put up
Allow a full day to fill
Buy all the filters and heater and cover to leave it up (12 weeks we kept it up)
Make sure you have somewhere to decant the water.. (we had spare land behind our house) and buy the relevant pump to do so.
Takes about 5 hours to empty but was empty super easy to take down and pack away.
My 6 yr old could swim under water in it, but don’t leave unattended. My 12 year old had hours of fun in it too.
This is so easy to assemble me and my 8 year old daughter had it up in less than half an hour. There are no tools required, you simply click the poles into place. Takes a while to fill obviously but there is plenty of room for four of us and the kids can even have a little swim and floats in. Has been a great distraction during lockdown I am so pleased with it.
This pool is excellent. Delivery is quite speedy, the price is fair and the pool is durable. It’s great for when you want to cool down in a hot day. It seems decently sturdy and the material is good. I really do recommend this.
Bought at the beginning of lockdown to have something fun this summer. I was a bit wary due to reading a number of bad reviews but we have been really happy with the pool.
Very easy to set up, seems sturdy, it’s been up for two months now and has no leaks and is providing so much fun during lockdown.
Would recommend a heater as it stays quite cold even though the hottest days.
Oh yes. Good swimming. Strong swimming pool, this will last for a very last long time. The cats or foxes cant pop this one unlike the inflatable pools. I put the pool up in under 1 hour. Kids love it, and it is a good size and deep.
So far loving this pool, bought for 4 year old but mum and dad are enjoying too! It has built in outlets to connect a filter pump which is a must if you want to keep setup for the summer, will also need some sort of chlorine tablets to keep the water fresh, it holds around 4500 litres of water so you don’t want to be refilling it once it’s set up, I’ve also bought a skimmer, vac and cover to keep it all clear of debris. Will be looking after it and packing up at end of summer to use again next year, the pool construction is very good, thick material and the frame is very strong, very pleased.
Took a lot longer to arrive than we wanted but a great pool. My family love it and are in it every day!! We got the filter as it’s very hard to empty but love it! Everyone is asking how they can buy one! X
Its brilliant! No leaks, easy to assemble and my son loves it, takes a while to heat up but using solar cover really helps! Can’t recommend it enough! Buy it in winter on sale bacause 230 is ridiculously over priced, i payed 100 in jan and then set it up in march with solar cover on and by may/June when good weather comes just dive in, really the hardest part of the hole thing was keeping my son out until the water warmed but it’s so worth it!
seems like a quality product. put it up yesterday in nice sunny weather and then been bombarded by high winds ever since. appears durable and sturdy. very easy to assemble but remember to put it on as level a ground as possible and put something underneath to protect the base. i put mine on a piece of artificial grass i bought. took less than 4 hours to fill which was quicker than i though
Waited 3 weeks but it was worth it. Great pool and sturdy.
Easy to assemble with two adults.
Appears to be sturdy and the children should enjoy using it this summer. We bought the 3m pool .
. Could do with some more information in the booklet so you can assemble better . Not very informative.
Pool split on seam sent back wanted replacement waited 3 weeks so cancelled replacement now awaiting a refund
Amazing pool! Kids love it ,perfect during lockdown ! Everything we needed . Easy to assemble and quick to fill . Quick note we reinforced our decking in order to put the pool up on it . The manufacturers do
not advise to put on decking! We brought a floating chlorine dispenser to clean the pool . Overall an amazing product highly recommend !!
It’s sturdy easy to put up I noticed other people said when dismantling the pool it was difficult to get the poles out and glue from the pool had stuck to them the instructions say put talcum powder on the poles first to stop this I’ve done it but haven’t dismantled yet so will update when I do my – and 8 year love this be warned yes it’s about 30 mins to put it up but will take about 5 hours to fill from standard hose pipe if your worried about the cold do buy a heater the pool will be very chilly don’t bother buying the Intex “solar heating cover” it’s rubbish great fun and for a different pool of this size your looking at 100-150++ so very good price
Great pool but pool only empty’s so far down then you need to bucket the rest out .
Lovely product, set it up. Half filled it to find it has a leak on the seam. Not happy not even used it. It’s a pinhole in the seam. Please replace or refund.
We bought this at the beginning of lockdown for our 4 year old (and us!). It’s been up now for 6 weeks and we all use it at least once a day! We do have a filter and a heater which have increased our electricity bill significantly though. This size is perfect for us.
I bought this for my Labrador and he absolutely loves it! I can’t get him out of it I’ve bought him so many pools in the past, but he’s always either popped them or ripped the sides. But this is full Labrador proof haha! Thankyou
Tips:
1. Be sure to space out the side poles outwardly before putting in water. This was our first pool and experiencing it all for the first time since our children have grown to use such. So we did everything and when the water was full up we noticed it was one sided, so be sure to lay the pool on a flat out surface. We placed it on a one sided area, the water was heavily one sided hence adding pressure to one side of the pool leading to water spilling out from the corner of the sided area.
2. So be sure to lay the pool on an even and flat out area, so the water can evenly spread out. Because if you try to move or adjust the poles, when the water is full up, sorry it won’t barge. We’ve tried a few times but gave up, as the poles is stuck from the weight of the water.
3. We have a 9, 11 and a 12 year old children so they have lots of space to swim around in.
4. Instructions was clear and easy to follow
5. It took us less than an hour to assemble and took us 2 hours to fill up the pool with water.
6. Frame/ poles are very sturdy, the material very robust, I guess if we take good care of it, it might last us a couple of years.
All in all great and positive purchase for our isolation period. Added an extra boost in our childrens home schooling to learning how to swim. Best buy indeed.

Nice pool, easy to put together. Appears sturdy and so far so good. Does what it says in the tin!
Great pool looking forward using this all summer, sits on my decking and I purchased a mesh matt from Palm Springs Outdoor 3x3m on Amazon to put under it. I set it up in a couple of hours as I lay all the pieces out first as the diagram showed then put it all together,it then took 10 to 11 hours to fill , the water pressure is not great where we live. I enjoyed the help of my 16 year old just to hold the pipes as threaded through but I am sure I could have done it on my own a woman of 49. I found it much easier with talcum powder on the poles so they slid through the pvc well otherwise its so much harder and you are worried it will tear. I bought the filter too and that was fine remember to look at the cross and on the pump and on the side of the pool for the the intake hose as I had them the wrong way round so tricky changing full of water but not an issue that was my fault. Other than that I am absolutely over the moon a superb pool for such a great price top marks from me.
Assembly very easy. I suggest you lay all the bits out first like it says in the instructions. Take note of where the pins go to ensure your poles have holes at the ends. Also check where you will position of the pump and outlet hole before filling.
Just filling it now, might be here a while.
We purchased this before Easter and put it up for the Easter weekend as we had some glorious weather. The kids have been in it most days since. I would say that it’s already one of our best purchases so far this year. The kids absolutely love it and their confidence in the water is improving every day. Their current favourite is swimming lengths underwater. We got a pool filter pump, spare filters, a chlorine floating dispenser and multifunction tablets and a cover at the same time. It cost less than 150 all in and we have absolutely no doubt that we will be getting our money’s worth out of it!!
Item arrived without the 2 plugs that seal the holes where you have the option to attach a pump!
Only just put this up last night. 3mx2m version.
It’s pretty easy to assemble and seems sturdy enough.
Takes a lifetime to fill lol
I’d advise getting the filter and probably a cover as they you can leave it filled for the time… elsewise, your probably up at 6am to start it off for noon haha.
Absolutely love it!
Wow this pool is much better than we expected it to be. It feels massive. We have 4 boys aged 9,8,4 and 5 months and we all fit in there together nicely. Perfect way to cool down on a hot day and it is keeping the kids entertained during lock down 🙂
I have owned various pools and this is by far the best by miles. Easy to set up, feels solid, great design, and easy to follow instructions. So far the only slightly negative point I can see is the fact the side poles are just slotted together and not held in place securely by anything, however it actually seems to be very secure and sturdy regardless of this, perhaps because of the support poles on the sides. I really am very impressed with this pool. Last year I had the round Intex fast set pool which although great when set up, I found incredibly difficult to clean when emptied as it collapses in on itelf. This pool with it’s frame can be emptied, mopped and dried easily before folding back into its box to be re-used again year on year. Highly recommend.
The size specifies 300x200x75 cm in actuality it is 260x160x65 which is slight false advertisement really otherwise delivered quickly and good quality
It does exactly what it says on the tin. Great bargain, easy to assemble and really quick delivery. Would recommend putting it onto the hot water feed.
I love the size if this swimming its perfect for my 3 boys the inly problem is it never cam with the leg end caps so we was not able to put much water in as we didn’t know if it was going to collapse and we couldn’t ring or email anyone to mention the missing pa
I am surprised at the quality of the product for the price – it feels really sturdy, is made of quality materials and went up really easily. My 3 YO loves it (although a wetsuit being used at present), and awaiting a filter and chemicals to arrive to keep it clean and clear (a lot of water so best to keep it topped up and treat I think rather than emptying and refilling as it holds a lot of water). For the price, I think you get a lot for your money. Make sure it’s on level ground, and put a ground sheet down and it should last a number of years if you pack it away at the end of summer and keep it clean. Not sure about some rusting I have seen on some reviews of this pool, so time will tell on that one.
Very nice pool. For our 1st it’s very nice. Easy to assemble, great for kids for water games in the summer. Has a space to put a hose to fill up the pool. Downfall is it doesn’t come with a cover. but overall my kids love i
Assembly was fairly straight forward and manageable by one person, took me about 45mins. Some rust noticeable on the poles when I dismantled it for the winter though
Brilliant pool bought for summer 2019, after 2018 was so good. Thought it was time for a bigger one….then 2019 summer (never) arrived…
Oh well, maybe next year….
A lovely pool though, you came blame the rubbish British weather on the pool
It is bigger and stronger than expected. It is a longer time to fill it to reason level for usage.
I use it for baptism and made life easier for us. I will suggest that it be accompanied by small stool or ladder to go in and out easily.
refill was because the temperature was cold. We bought a solar blanket to place under the pool cover but it
wasnt very successful at keeping temperature warm. This pool was placed on a large section of grass and when
it was time to take the pool up, the smell was unbearable and it remained that way for three days. Apparently you need to place sand underneath the pool before placing down for the summer. We will remember that tip for next year. Fantastic pool very roomy and at one point it held four large grownups and three children with
room to spare. A good purchase and well worth the money.
My son loves this pool. It’s larger than what I was looking for but once assembled you can add however much water you want. It was easy to assemble and so far very durable. My son has had his scooter in with him and thrown the black bin in on many occasions! I already had a filter from our previous pool but I mainly used chlorine tablets and Relax pool cleaner to keep it clean and it stayed clean all summer apart from some leaves etc.
Had great time when the weather was good and had to have the
heating and filter on all the time to have a great time great fun thanks
The pool is amazing! The perfect size for my family and it fits perfectly in my garden. It’s very easy to set up but I would definately recommend 2 people to help rather than just 1. Bug enough for my kids to fit 2 floats in and still have some room. Honestly for the price that it is it’s a steal and if your like me who’ve gone through loads of pools over the years and they keep popping it’s better to invest in ome like these that will las
Very sturdy and really great value for the price. Has no issues with leaking or rusting as of yet and hopefully will continue that way, could fit up to 8 people in this, it’s a lot bigger in person says it takes 2 people to put it up but I did it on my own no problem although it took me around 40 minutes to set up and took around 5 hours to fill.
Purchased this for my childcare business. Managed to erect it within an hour (only made 1 mistake, but was easily rectified) and quick to fill. Children were in it by the next day, enjoying every minute. What I like about this pool compared to others, is that children can lean on the side and it isn’t going to collapse or seep water out. The pool is very solid, no leaks and easy to attach filter. Keeping in chlorinated now and I’m pretty sure this will last all summer and many more! Great price too.
It’s now 2020 & I’m slightly changing my review from last year.
I’ve re-put the pool up & regretfully am using chlorine tablets again.
I recommend people using the more healthier, natural option, of bromine.
Now my review from 2019 –
My Daughter & I are super pleased with it.
Today I purchased chlorine tablets & a dispenser, as it’ll definitely need that to stay clean.
Haven’t got the filter yet, but most probably shall invest in one – until then we’ll be cleaning it with a net!
Note to review reader – I still haven’t bought a filtration system, but if you keep the pool clean & have a net to catch bits, then it’s fine.
Also, it’s gone a little bit mouldy if you will, but that’s due to when I packed it away last year, it was still a bit wet.
It’s only aesthetic & still is an alright pool.
However, buy bromine instead of chlorine.
My Daughter built it herself, she’s 14! Took her around an hour & a half, only because she didn’t read the instructions first!.
The pool’s bigger than we were worrying it would be. The inflatable chair is pretty large, so try to work out the size of the pool in comparison to that.
Our pool is the 3 metre one in length, 75 cm’s height. It comes up to about our thighs, which is perfect to swim & relax in.
Would like a heater for wintertime too, that would be nice, but shall have to see.
The pool took around 7 hours to fill I’d say…. so be ready for a shock with your water bill…. I’m already anticipating that… but thought, my daughter (& son, though he says he’s not going to take a dip in it – he shall!), deserve something nice, so went ahead & got it. Really pleased I did.

Wasn’t sure how durable this would be so went for the smaller one but do wish I had gone bigger now. This pool is fantastic and the kids loved it. A little bit small for the 12 year old to swim about in but big enough for the whole family to just sit in. My 5 year old and 9 year old were able to swim round in it.
Very well made thick material and really easy to assemble. If you use treatment and get a cover you can keep it out all summer.
Ordered through prime at night time and arrived next day by lunch.
Just love this paddling pool! So simple to put up! Took about 15 minutes…Longer to fill up! Let’s me able to get in the pool to play with my two Jack Russell’s…Hubby even rigged up a hot water hose to heat pool up if a bit chilly I did get mine when it was on offer, and before the two day heat wave
Perfect for small gardens. Sturdy and if you cover and clean regularly, use chlorine the water does not need changing. We have bought a pump now, which really helps with cleaning. The children are 4 and 5, had outgrown the paddling pool. They can actually swim a little in here. Best investment for hours of fun. If you have questions, the staff at intex are amazingly helpful.
This is very well made. Its strong, easy to assemble especially after the first time. My 6 year old can just about swim in it the whole way around. So its a decent size. Takes an age to fill mind you but thats a good complaint really. The only thing I will say to its disadvantage is the corner seat parts were they join into the legs are beginning to show a lot of stress on the plastic. I can see them splitting sooner or later. If I get the full summer out of it though ill be happy enough. Kids are never overly careful with things anyway so its a good investment for the summer hols. All in all happy with my purchase. Would recommended
With the rising temps we had no choice but to get a fun pool! This one was such a great price so we ordered it. We sat with anticipation in the heat waiting for our friendly Amazon dude to deliver and in less than 24 hours it was at our door. I’m a stay at home mum, with two kids under the age of 4. With that in mind I was able to assemble this easily within 45 minutes by myself. We had great great fun with it for the remainder of the hot day!!!! It is very sturdy, though I would not lean on the sides at all! Make sure you skip ahead with instructions and place your pins and blue brackets on as you assemble poles! Only mistake I made. Even the dogs took a wee dunk in the pool
It is brilliant, although not easy to disguise. Add the pump, the heater, cover and the pool maintenance kit and you are ready to go. Its been up for a month now and still looks clear.
It’s quite deep to be careful with little ones.
Best buy of the summer and almost impossible to get him and me out of it.
I purchased this as a temporary pond for my fish as I renovated the permanent one, and it has worked very well nice and strong easy to fit together and a lot cheaper than a purpose made one. Friends have been impressed by it and purchased some as emergency equipment in case of leaks. Unfortunately can’t say how it holds up to kids jumping around.
Bargain price at 60, kids love it. I’ve bought the filter & floater with chlorine tabs, whole lot 100, so don’t have to worry about emptying grotty slimed pool. Easy assemble & will be quick to take down & pop in shed. 1/2 hr max….Takes a good 5hrs to fill up.
BE AWARE this pool is deep enough for young kids to topple into & drown, less likely in a regular large paddling pool, bear it in mind.
Good size, I have a ten year old and a six year old. Takes an eternity to fill as it is very deep. Also tricky to drain, the lowest plug is around 15 com from the ground level, that is a lot of emptying by hand.
Despite what others have said you really need this on a very flat piece of ground. I had thought my lawn was fairly flat, but once i had a small amount of water in the bottom I found the only place flat enough was the patio. I think strength wise it could stand being on a small slope, but the filter exit point is so near the top you cant use it unless it’s full to capacity. And you couldn’t fill it to the top unless it’s very level!
Bought this as i was fed up of constantly replacing inflatable pools. I was worried this may be too big going by other reviews, but so pleased i went for the bigger size. Great, robust pool that will give the whole family hours of fun. I invested in a pump, chlorine dispenser, tester strips, ground sheet and net. The pool has been up a week and water is crystal clear. I’m still learning the maintenance bit, but absolutely love the pool. Added bonus is that its too high for our Retrievers to get in, so don’t have to worry about them damaging yet another pool! Best pool I’ve ever bought.
I bought this pool for my two kids, 2 year old and 4 year old and i cant get them out of the pool. I also brought a 900 gallons per hour pump and an external heater. The pool is easy to set up, but you will need to keep hold of the instructions so you know what pole goes were.
I was afraid it will be too large for my garden.
We have placed it under pergola 3×3 m
The pool is great. Easy to set up (took us maybe 30 – 40 min) if done alone probably could take up to 1h.
Once set up, you can add pump (there are 2 outlets) on one of the long sides. Ad there is draining one.
Very thick material. It will last for years.
Storage recommendation: you can store it in original box but it’s only a cardboard. Store in a plastic container so the mice can’t get to it. (Happened to my friend)
I’m really, really pleased with this pool. It’s easy to setup, easy to manage and it’s huge! I’ve had a few of the inflatable ring-type pools before, but I always end up throwing them away because they’re too hard to clean properly once the algae sets in. This is much easier to maintain. Top practical product.
The price seems to fluctuate quite a lot (supply and demand I suppose) and we had a terrible time getting a pump last year, but again I think that was just because it was a hot summer and stocks ran out. If you plan on having the pool up throughout the summer I’d recommend buying the matching pool cover (we tried to go cheap but it was slightly the wrong size and proved a major hassle so ended up buying the intex one) and pump/filter.
Even after the add-ons this still feels like a bargain.
Children love it. It’s low enough for my 4 and 6 year old to get in without too much trouble. Deep enough to enable them to swim, but not too deep, so that they can easily stand up.
It is fairly easy to put up and so far the pool has survived regular use for past six weeks.
Don’t get me wrong, this is a great pool but I’m only giving it 4 stars rather than the full 5 because in the picture you’d be forgiven for thinking it arrives fully assembled and full of lovey clear water. Not so! mine arrived flat in a box and took me at least an hour to assemble then another couple of hours to fill with water. Worth bearing in mind if you, like I did, order it on a same-day prime delivery on the morning of a hot sunny day. It was going dark an also the kids’ bedtime by the time I’d filled it up.
My original concern had been that the pool was not sturdy enough. However, once filled with water it becomes even stronger.
So far the pool has been up since the 19th May 2018. We already had a filter and fitted that, this has meant that we have not had to change the water yet and it is now the end of July. We also maintain the pool with appropriate chlorine tablets which also maintains the water.
In terms of strength it has withstood two children playing in it most days… with adults jumping in on the hotter ones.
It’s a good size but given how much fun has been had, I have been left wishing I had brought the bigger size!! The pool is more sturdy than I had anticipated and great value for money.
It’s has younger kids and teenagers alike and still loads of room for messing about in.
Takes about 30 mins to put it together but obviously quite a while to fill as it’s so big. It’s slightly more expensive than the inflatable ones we’ve had in the past but as they have only ever lasted one summer (many cats about) hopefully this one will still be going strong in a couple of years.
One of the reasons for not buying an inflatable was because what with our dog and cats in the neighbourhood we had two punctured last year. So far this seems much more sturdy and stand up.
Enjoy the summe
Even has holes in the pool (that can easily be blanked off so that you can add a pump/filter system at a later date.
Just to add. I was having real trouble getting down. After a while I realised it was the pool stuck to the metal poles. Must have been the heat this year. Freed each pole up with a bamboo stick and it was straight forward after that. Maybe next year I’ll rub the poles with Vaseline or WD40
All the parts were in the box and the instructions were very straight forward and easy to read and put together, each poll has a letter/number on them that corresponds to the right parts, I would recommend placing all the parts out on the floor first so you can become familiar with them all, I did this and placed them all in the right order so when it come to A going to B I just picked up the right sections.
The pool took me and my husband around an hour to put up, it was really quite easy once you got going, I would recommend finding a flat piece of land to start as this is the key when it comes to filling the pool with water. We had placed our pool at first in the middle of the garden so the sun would hit the pool all day and heat the pool up nicely but once we started filling we noticed that towards the end the pools would start to bow adding pressure to the sides, so we had to empty all the water out and place our pool at the bottom of the garden were it was relatively more flat ground.
I would also recommend buying a ground sheet as added protection. The one I got was so large I could double it up 🙂
The overall pool is very sturdy and well made. The pool sheet is thick and not flimsy, I would say that for added stability I found that placing the poles that go to the ground over the pole joins that go around the pool very beneficial as it give it that added strength, as I found if you don’t it will bow at those points. It didn’t take long at all to fill this pool with water I would say around a couple of hours. If you want to heat the pool in a free way I found that by placing black bin bags on the top of the water heats the pool up nicely 🙂 The only negative I would say is that I wish it had a bit better water drainage system as when the water gets to a certain level it wont empty anymore and you will need to do it by hand.
Overall so far so good, I am pleased beyond my expectations with this pool, Such a good buy 🙂
I bought the pool this summer as we are not planning to go away for a long time. The instructions were very clear to understand. It took me and my little one 1.1/2 to set up. Package in perfect condition. After wait to fill up we did enjoyed as the wheather was really nice. The children are having much fun. Advise to do not use the pool without the filter pump.
