This is a very sturdy bag in the event our 70 lb dog needs to be evacuated from our second story out the window. I hope I don’t ever have to use it, but if we do I know I can count on this working as designed.
Great emergency escape for small animals. Bought it for my cat’s but hoping I never have to use it. I feel safe having it thow as I live on the second floor of a 3 story building.
This is better than expected. It’s not something I would use for any regularly occurring activity but it would work well for its intended purpose in an emergency or two. I have a slightly neurotic 60-pound black lab and was able to get her zipped up into it and pick it up to the point I’m confident I could get her over the balcony railing and lower her to the ground safely. She tolerated the test pretty well and didn’t seem to mind it as much as I thought she would.
Was happy to get this as I have cats and thought this could save their lives. Got the large size but a little concerned with the open side. Area has cross bars stiched to allow air and sight but think I will add some extra cross cloth bars to keep smaller pets from jumping out before and after reaching the ground. Includes nice thick rope and heavy duty locking clip. Hope it is never needed but having it at the window gives me extra peace.
Fits my heavy Olde English Bulldogge in this and it came with the safety rope, so very happy with that! I would say however that there is sadly no attachment on the bag for the safety rope to securely attach to. It would need to be attached to the handle straps. Overall happy though! Feel better knowing there is a further safety precaution on place for my fur baby for the worst case scenario
I bought this in case of an emergency where I have to get my family and pets out of the house. The bag is big enough to fit my 50 lb, Australian Shepherd. Hopefully, I will never have to use it.
While I hope we never have to use it, I was happy to see this bag is sturdy, well-made, appropriately sized for my slightly overweight Bichon, with a good sturdy rope and carabiner.
Hopefully I will never have to use it but we have a 2 and a 3 yr old and it gives me great piece of mind that we could lower the kids down or carry them down in this carrier instead Iof trying to hold onto them down the fire ladders we have. This is sturdy, easy to use (or so it appears, I haven’t had to yet thank goodness) and great price. I bought one for me and for each of my children when they bought homes of their own that had 2nd floors. Honestly, I’d even use it on a single floor home as it’s large enough to put multiple small / med size animals which may be better than trying to capture/carry each individually.
Having this bag gives me peace of mind. I feel save knowing that in case of emergency it can save my pets. And the bag is high quality. Recomend everyone for peace of mind.

She sat down in the bag, and I lifted the bag up. Now I know that in case of fire I can safely lower my child from the apartment.

We practiced putting our dog in it and lowering him to the ground. Worked great! Hopefully we’ll not have to use it. Better to be safe rather than sorry.
Perfect item ! I feel more comfortable about being able to get my dog out if there was ever an issue that I would need to get out of my condo in a hurry . That was always my worry ! I can use my ladder ; but, how was I going to get my dog out ! I always thought I would wrap him in a sheet and lower him out first in hopes he would get out on the way down ! However now with this escape carrier he will be safe ! It’s good and strong and not too heavy to lift him out ! So glad I found this ! Thanks Amazon for having this company! Solved my problem !
I live in an upper level condo and some window exits are a far way down. Have a two story fire escape ladder, but I recently realized that I would no longer be able to carry my cats down since they are now full grown and weigh 12lbs each. I needed a bigger bag/carrier to get them down safety in case of an emergency. The bag is well made and the rope is plenty long enough. I tested it out to see if my two cats would fit and hold up inside the bag. The bag holds up fine with two 12lb adult cats in it. The only downside is that the opening is slightly small so it took a few seconds to get both of them in it….but overall provides some peace of mind knowing I can get them down safely too.
Multifuncional awesome bag, you can put a baby inside and use it as backpack, or safely down from the balcony with a baby or animal to the ground. Hopefully I’m not going to use it, but it’s better to be ready for the bad situation.
Seen this fire escape bag and could not go by it. You can lower down your dog, cat or your children, then tie it and go down your self if something happens! Its is 50 ft long, for my town house its perfect.
Our girl Jojo (Yorkshire Terrier) is our life and we want her to be safe. We bought this along with a ladder that can be used to escape our home from the second story in case of fire. Thank you for providing this.
