Audio quality is outstanding, hugely better than the 75t. Sound stage, frequency distribution and clarity are all fantastic, a joy to listen to. The 75ts sound pretty good but they’re a mid muddled in the sound stage/clarity.
The fit is great. I can see why some people say they feel loose, because you don’t really feel that seal. But believe me, it’s there. No chance of these falling out or even needing to be readjusted. The only downside is due to the size of them, you can feel the casing wobbling against your outer ear when moving around. Not a big deal. Overall, it’s nice to have an earbud that stays locked in but doesn’t make your ear feel plugged. Big plus for me.
The noise cancellation is out of this world. I feel like I’m living in a world of silence! When walking next to a busy main road all I’m hearing is a very light whisper of cars going by.
Easy to set up and connect, controls are straightforward and everything just works without glitch, stutter or wierdness, including multipoint connections and calls
I brought them for the insider campaign nearly a month ago and have used them for a while for several occasions: working out, talking on the phone, listening to music while doing house work and many more things. I love the fact that they are customisable and can fit nearly everyone’s shape and size of ear as they have 3 different sizes . Also, charging them was extremely easy as the case is wireless . They have a reasonable amount of life and don’t need to charge very often, which is handy when you need them for a long period of time. At first I found it difficult to understand how to change songs, answers calls and other things. However, once I explored more on the Jabra app I found out you can customise this so that its convenient to you, making it easier. They are incredibly handy when you want to get away from your surroundings with the noise cancellation function on the earbuds. I was disappointed that there was no alert when they have die they just stop playing. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone who want to have a high quality sound and magnificent experience anywhere they are.

I want to tell you about my experience with Jabra Elite 85T headphones . First of all, i want to let you know that earbuds are used mostly by me for music and long conversations. In my opinion Jabra have developed superb noise cancelling system that can separate you from everyday noise, what is important when you make business calls in busy environment.
Battery last pretty good taking price range into consideration. They fit just perfect for me but here we must be clear that everyone have different ears. Sound quality taking music into consideration is average (i would prefer a bit mote kick from low tones), for a phone calls they are perfect.
Microphone could be better but i was testing it mostly in hard weather conditions that’s why my opinion can be different to someone who using them in the office.
Overall build and sound quality place them on the same place with other premium brands earbuds in this price range. I can recommend them to every working person who need reliable buds with premium look.
I love the fit feature, which through the app allows you to find the best size buds to use. The Noise cancellation is good and gets better the longer you wear them. I like that taking one out causes the audio to pause and it continues playing as you put it back in. The smart feature though is hear through, it does affect battery life, however it’s great when out walking and you want to be more aware of traffic etc. Or if you’re just nosey like me and want to be able to hear what people are saying without being obvious.
The battery life is good, I’ve not had to charge them using the cable or wirelessly since the first charge. I’ve been using them for roughly 2-3 hours a day as a guide.
In terms of using them out and about I have taken them on a few walks and never felt like I need to adjust them or they were falling out. I haven’t used them when out on my bike yet, as I wanted to make sure they felt secure first.
I have used the find my jabra feature in the app already, as I couldn’t find them one morning. The case had fallen out of my pocket and they had gone down the sofa. It was a great relief to know they were in the house.
They are a definite upgrade on the 75t, which were great but lacked wireless charging and a few other little features. The touch controls still take a little getting used to. I would definitely recommend them though, if you’re looking for your first pair of wireless ear buds or looking to upgrade from an older pair.
It took me a while to remember all the controls on the unit as both left and right earbuds will respond to click, double click, triple-click and press and hold so there is a lot to learn. I was disappointed that I couldn’t change the mode during the middle of a call but that’s a minor gripe.
The sound quality is excellent and every bit as good as a high-end over-ears headset. The bass notes are deep and resonant and the treble notes crisp and sharp. I’m no audio expert but it made my favourite music come to life in a way that my previous earbuds did not.
I use them for listening to music when running around the park in the morning and also listening to music whilst working during the working day.
In summary, after a little adjustment and learning, I am loving my new Jabra 85t earbuds and would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Lieferumfang: 1x Kopfhrerset 1x Ladecase 1x Ladekabel 3x Ohrmuscheladapter in verschiedenen Gren. 1x Bedienungsanleitung Optisch machen die Earbuds wirklich was her.
Set up was easy and the customisation is excellent. (Again, very easy to do)
I have connected them to both my phone and my PC for work.
What stands out to me is the pure quality of sound. I use them on conference calls and they work perfectly. Not only are the calls clear and crisp but everyone hears me clearly too.
When Im not on conference calls I listen to music and news on Youtube. All i can say is wow! Music through these buds is outstanding.
Battery life is pretty good. I had conference calls for over 5 hours and they just made it.
They fit well. I have changed the rubber tips to the largest ones and I find I can wear them for hours with no issues.
Positives:
Very easy set up
Great sound Quality
Comfortable.
Noise cancellation is pretty good
Negatives:
Expensive
Conclusion: If you can afford them, well worth the investment.
Battery life on the Elite 85t lasts between 5.5 and 7.5 hours depending on the settings used. The battery management is great as it can be easily controlled on the app. Sleep Mode preserves battery life by turning off the buds when inactive anywhere between 15 minutes and 2 hours, whichever is preferred. The rest of the time I leave the buds in the case which is magnetized to keep them secure whilst they charge wirelessly. Thanks to Bluetooth 5.0, once charged, my buds pair automatically with my smartphone, tablet or laptop, allowing me to get on with my day.
So if you want wireless earbuds, packed with loads of useful features in a tiny package with great sound, look no further than the Elite 85t.
First of all sound quality:
Let me review sound quality as it matters most when you buy any earphones
The sound quality is excellent
All the highs and mids and lows very clear
The good thing is you can control the sound via app it has worked as treat for me compared to my previous earphones.
Bass is punchy but not over powering treble very clear without being too noisy.
Overall I am over the moon with Jabra earphone
I finally found something I have been waiting for
Charging:
The case charges with earphones around 7-8 times for me and cherry on the cake is that you can charge the case wirelessly.
Build quality is excellent too it has good weight to it.
Water resistance: I worked out few times on my treadmill and did sweat as lot but it hasn’t affected the Jabra 85t and it did not fall.
I managed to get snug fit with the help of extra earbuds provided.
Overall I am very pleased with the product and I can recommend to anyone who is interested in good sound quality wireless earphones.
Packaging: The packaging is nice, compact and displays the product well. It is significant and thick enough to protect the product and looks sleek.
Appearance: The earbuds look great, I am a big fan of the colour and fairy minimal looks. They are small and look fantastic when compared against many other wireless earbuds. The fee and fit: The earbuds feel well build and sleek. In the ear they are very comfortable, much more comfortable than the 75t when listening for long periods. They feel secure in the ear, but slightly less secure than the previous version which had a stronger hold in the ear. I do like the 85t, but would be cautious if using them for outdoor exercise.
The sound: I really like the sound, they’re excellent. As per other reviews, they are well balanced on the sound front. The ability to manage the eq is a real plus point and allows you to adjust them to your personal taste. I have a range of settings based on what I am listening to.
Noise cancellation: dedicated ANC is fairly good. Could be slightly better and I am sure there are some headphones out there that cancel slightly more noise but these are fairly good. I do wonder whether one of my earbuds doesn’t fit securely enough as I was expecting slightly better ANC overall. Hear through function works well when you want to let some out the outside world in.
The case: The charging case looks really good and feels good in the hand. It has a nice magnetic feel when opening/closing and the earbuds slot easily in. Charges perfectly and it is a good size, easy to carry round and fit in a pocket. The case gives loads of extra battery life and keeps the earbuds going for ages. Wireless charging is a great feature. Call quality: Call quality is good, had no issues with people being able to hear me and I am able to chat on the move and in fairly noisy place.
Overall: Very happy with these and I would recommend them to others. They are expensive at 220 and at that price point I do think they could have more enhanced features such as APT-X, and the ability to use either earphone independently.
I used the Jabra earbuds on my meetings when my kids where running around and it was much better than anything else I used before I was able to turn the noise level dowm
They are also great for watching movies & series. After playing with the Jabra App I was able to EQ the 85t to sound great with acoustic music too. Out the box I think they are a little bass heavy for some Instrumental genres but that’s where the App comes in handy.
The noise cancelling is great, I tested it against a few other noise cancelling headphones and I couldn’t pick a winner. This isn’t a bad thing as the others are known to be some of the best. I found while making calls the Jabra did a fantastic job, having all those microphones sure helps out. Even made a few calls while walking by a breezy river and didn’t have any issues.
Jabra have the Exercise category covered, they are splash proof (IPX4 rated), so a little bit of sweat should be fine. They also have a great fit and don’t protrude much so the centre of gravity is closer to the head. This helps them keep in place during workouts. I didn’t have any issues with the Jabra throughout a workout unlike my previous earphones. The Jabra I could put in and forget about.
The other thing I really liked about the Jabra are the physical buttons, they are much harder to accidently press whereas my other earphones are touch sensitive so while adjusting them, there is a good chance of accidently changing the settings. Some people think physical buttons are outdated but not in this case.
– Can get through a really long day of conference calls no problem, as long as you get the occasional charge in between meetings
– Great natural sound for music. Maybe a touch base heavy, but it’s generally well controlled and a massive improvement over the 75t that I trialled and sent back
– Really great call quality, can adjust treble to get it clearer too. Unwanted noise filtering also works really well, I can touch just one bud or even both quite a bit to adjust, press buttons etc and almost nothing gets through to the call! Wind noise is not entirely eliminated, but it still does a pretty damned good job of it.
– Great ANC, really excellent, I am sure it is best in class. Side-tone and hear-through are also nice to have, and work well.
– Just the right size and weight, don’t feel like they’re even going to fall out and really comfortable
– Connects almost instantly to everything and the ability to connect to 2 things at once also just works! Much better than some other implementations I have come across that are inconsistent (only caveat is I think it can be a bit hit and miss with Bluetooth 3 and lower, 4 and above work flawlessly)!
Cons:
– Right bud discharges faster then the left, but only by a bit (inevitable as phone connects to right, then connects to left), but since only the right can be used on it’s own, this can be a problem if the right dies first (usually barely any left on the left anyway at this point so not really an issue in reality)
– Case charge level doesn’t update in the app, unless you put some earphones into it
– No AptX
I’m quite picky when it comes to my tech and these ticked all the boxes. They just work and the fast connection to multiple devices and good call/music quality and top notch ANC make these a solid choice!
I quickly set about installing the Jabra “Sound+” app and they paired immediately with my Android handset. The app guides you through a rudimentary hearing test to tailor the EQ to match your individual ears (left and right are done separately which is a nice touch). The sound is very clear and well defined. The bass is punchy without being over the top as can be found with some earbuds. All the time the mids and high tones are very clear and you soon forget you are listening through in-ear devices.
At times I felt that I wanted just a little bit more in terms of volume but not a huge problem. I have in ear devices from a couple of leading manufacturers and the Jabra 85t really do excel in comparison in most areas. The buttons are physical which is refreshing as so many manufacturers decide to go to touch interfaces. Touch is no good with running gloves on and I find you keep accidentally pressing (touching) buttons.
The operation of buttons is intuitive and customisable. Both of my other earbuds have noise *isolation* but these have Active Noise Cancellation and you really can tell the difference. Switch it on and you are whisked away to a place of silence and tranquillity, it seems some high pitch sounds make it through but it really is remarkable. What impressed even more is the pass through mode where you can hear your surroundings. For the first time ever this actually works and is seamless, there is no delay or echo or artificial sound to it; it really does sound like you haven’t got any obstruction in your ear.
The fit is comfortable but a little too big for my liking, they do feel like they wouldn’t be stable for a long run in driving winter rain, I switched to the smallest attachments which made them more comfortable but still not 100%, maybe my confidence will build with time!
Initially I found a little difficulty in the left earbud maintaining a connection with the right but Jabra were excellent and their support switched the faulty product without hassle. The other disappointing thing is that only the right earbud can be used in single mono mode and not either left or right unlike other offerings in this arena.
The Jabra Elite 85t is my first ever product from Jabra. I have used TWS earphones from other notable brands, so I did have a good idea of how other earphones perform.
The unboxing experience of the Elite 85t is nothing extraordinary. You are greeted with the earphones case, the two earphones, a USB-C wire, and two extra pairs of ear tips.
I was prompted to download the Jabra app on my mobile phone. This is one of the strong points of these earphones — the accompanying app is a solid bit of software. There are a lot of personalisation options in the app with a solid equaliser.
One of the points that I personally dislike are the buttons on the earphones. For me, other brands have more intuitive ways to adjust the volume and skip tracks etc. Similarly, tapping on the left buds only cycles through ANC and hearthrough, but no option to turn either of these off. To turn off both systems, you would have to manually go into the app and switch them off.
Another software bug for me is the continuous notification of finding your Jabra. This persistent notification often plagues my phone and the only way to remove this is go force stop the app.
In relation to the sounds, the Jabra have incredible sound and the ANC is a major bonus.
However, I have found the earphones to not fit into my ears as well as other TWS earphones and I have even switched tips but they are not snug enough in my ears.
She could not have been more thrilled.
The Jabra Elite 85t ear buds are easy to use and set up. They easily linked to her android phone, with simple and easy step by step clear instructions.
She especially likes the active noise cancellation aspect — it really does cut out the noise — so much so she can’t hear me talking/calling her!
She states the sound quality is absolutely excellent. They are by far the best ear phones she has ever used. She loves listening to her relaxation music and meditation tracks; they are perfect for this with the active noise cancellation feature.
She also really liked in the set up where the sound is tailored to each of her ears. She appreciates the fact that she can decide to listen to a podcast on her phone, on the go about the house, whilst leaving her phone downstairs she can continue listening to the podcast through her ear phones when still upstairs or around the house with the same quality sound!
The ear buds are fairly comfortable with a choice of three covers– She used the smallest ear buds and they are perfect.
The battery life seems good; with the only downside she found, is the small length of cable supplied for charging the charging case. The case itself is very robust, smart looking, pocket size and neat; it’s got good functionality with different coloured lights indicating the state of the battery life.
All in all an excellent quality product, one I would thoroughly recommend well worth the money.
I highly recommend these and I will be purchasing a different colour next month when they are released.
On opening the box you’re presented with the buds, three sizes of ear tips and the carry case. My immediate impression was that the buds have clearly had a lot of thought put into their design. Sculpted to sit perfectly in the ear, the shells are moulded from a high-quality plastic with metallic paint finish to keep them both light and attractive. As a result they are extremely comfortable to wear, with minimal pressure on the ear canal while still providing a secure fit even when used during exercise (in my case, jogging!).
Each bud has a single click-style button that can be tailored to function to your liking using the Jabra Sound+ app. Jabra has clearly knocked it out of the park with Sound+, with a slick user interface it provides intuitive access and rich context to the panoply of features offered by the 85T’s. These include, but are not limited to, adjustable or pre-set EQ profiles, active noise cancellation and ‘HearThrough’ (ambient) sound modes and a nifty Find My Jabra function to help work out where you left them last.
The 85T’s have a respectable battery life, but when they do need a charge the buds nestle securely in the case using strong magnets. The case itself is compact and sturdy, with a rubberised finish that provides a degree of scratch resistance. The case also comes packed with features and includes not only wireless charging but a quick charge feature that provides ~70 mins of use from a 15 min charge.
I have found that they consistently sound fantastic across wide range of music genres, films and podcasts. While they naturally excel in reproducing low-end sound, this can easily be adjusted to fit anyone’s preferred sound profile using the EQ settings. Having taken consideration of the hardware, software, features, usability and sound I’m pleased to be able to resoundingly recommend the 85T’s!
First the sound, I wasn’t expecting the sound quality like this mainly because of their sizes. Sound is something that can be subjective but this is definitely the best in-ear sound quality I have ever heard and the most expensive in-ear I have used was Beats by Dr. Dre UrBeats. I tend to use my QC35 for music and movies and only use in-ear while I am on the move. The QC35 still has better sound quality but I haven’t touched it for the past 3 weeks and I don’t notice the difference in sound quality if I don’t compare them side by side.
These are also very comfortable to wear. They are very light and after a while, you forgot their existence. As mentioned, I don’t usually wear in-ear for a longer period of time, partly due to their sound quality and partly due to comfort. My ear canals started to hurt about an hour but it is not a problem with the Jabra. I finished tenet wearing them. They also look very good, subtle, non-intrusive and blend in with everything.
The ANC worked very well, it filters out most of the road noises when Iam out running. I have tried Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, SONY WF-1000XM3 and of course the AirPod pro. Again, without a scientific test, I think the Jabra is slightly behind the Bose and Sony but ahead of the AirPods.
I would also like to comment on the button rather than touch controls as there are people complaining about about them. I actually like them, especially when wearing them under a hoody while out running. Touch controls don’t work under those scenarios.
Ok now the questions, why this over Bose, Sony or Apple, here are my view
Sound quality Comfort ANC looks
Jabra 4 5 3 4
Bose 4 4 4 3
Sony 5 4 3 3
Apple 4 4 3 2
Jabra may not be the best in most categories, it’s the second best in most categories. As an all-rounder, it wins hands down.
On first impression, I was worried that the Elite 75ts weren’t going to stay in my ears very well, as they lacked the “fin” that other buds have, which when twisted upon insertion, lock into the natural shape of the ear. However they do still have a “twist” method of insertion in the ears, staying in place (as far as I gather) with just very good moulding of the body of the headphone into the concha. I did find them to sometimes require a little “relocking” during running sessions (especially the left bud, though over the years I’ve come to the conclusion I just have a weirdly shaped left ear). The silicone earpiece is now an ovular shape, which Jabra states gives a better seal in your ear canal.
The Jabras also sound excellent, much improved over even the 75t’s (which were already great), thanks to the increased driver size. They are a little bass heavy, but this can be adjusted in the Jabra Sound+ app, which provides a decent equaliser to tinker to your preference of bass, mids and trebles.
Passthrough mode returns from the 75t’s, but Jabra have also added ANC with the 85t’s. Not commuting these days, I’ve not been able to give the earphones the most ideal test, but they have worked as well as other ANC headphones that I’ve got in my testing around the house.
Battery life on the Jabras is also the best I’ve come across on any wireless buds so far – I think I’ve only charged the case once with a week of fairly heavy use. Jabra claims 7.5 hours with the buds themselves and another 28 hours in the case, and I believe that. The case has also been improved over the 75t’s as it can now be charged wirelessly.
Overall, the Jabra Elite 85t true wireless earbuds are excellent wireless earbuds and very worthy of the praise they have been receiving. Fit feels nice, sound is excellent, and with the addition of ANC and a wireless case they are a worthy upgrade over previous generations.
Also alles in Ordnung.
Fazit:
Weniger anzeige
I was slightly concerned with the oval earbud design as I’ve only ever used round in ear buds before. After using them for a while they have proved just as comfortable, possibly even more so.
Battery life is excellent and being able to put them back in the case for a while to charge up on the go is handy.
I’d highly recommend the Jabra 85t to anybody looking for wireless earbuds.
Spezifikationen
Having spent some time with the 85T I must say that they are quite the upgrade over the 65T! Obviously, I’ve skipped a generation in between but this has made me appreciate them all the more. The addition of ANC on the 85T is like night and day when compared to the 65T and the sound is so much fuller and musical, with a noticeable bass that the 65T lacked.
Functionality wise, there’s more to tweak with the 85T, and the MySound app customising the sound to my ears does seem to work its magic! Also, you now only need to tap the earpiece one time to switch between ANC and “HearThrough” modes. Speaking of which, the “HearThrough” mode is a functionality that I absolutely cannot live without these days. It means you don’t have to take off your headphones when you need to hear the outside world, or to speak to someone whilst on the move, especially these days!
The 85T earbuds don’t fit as snugly as the 65T due to their spherical earbuds but I didn’t think they would fall out at any time, and they haven’t done so either so far! Overall, they’re smaller as well which you do get the feeling they’re jutting out of your ears a bit more especially since they’re also a bit heavier. The other standout feature is the charging storage case. When you put the earphones back in they “snap” back in due to magnets?! Pretty cool as you know they’ve slotted into place properly. However, they are a tad harder to get out due to this too! Also, the lid doesn’t click into place like the ones for the 65T one but not a problem so far.
Another rather nifty feature of the case is that it supports wireless charging! So, when I get home I can just plonk the case on a wireless charging pad and don’t have to worry about cables, but you can still use a USB-C cable if you prefer!
Overall, I am very happy with the 85T headphones and like I said before, they’re a worthy upgrade over my trusty 65Ts. The ANC and “HearThrough” modes make life so much easier! Plus, with Jabra’s legendary experience in making quality voice hardware, makes the 85T an absolute joy to use whether it’s for music or voice calling. A big thumbs up!!
The active noise cancellation is very effective. Not quite as good as my over-ear headphones with ANC but far better than my experience with regular buds and I can keep the volume of my music and podcasts low and still enjoyable even when in noisy conditions.
The sidetone feature, allowing you to hear yourself on a call, has not been so useful for me in the environments that I usually make calls. If there is any sound in the background, it sounds a little like holding a seashell up to my ear. Fortunately, the app allows it to be disabled and the call quality has otherwise been very good. Being able to connect to 2 devices at a time has been useful when using my laptop and taking calls on my phone and has worked well, along with triggering Google Assistant.
The frequency response as shipped is pretty good and the large speakers perform immeasurably better than buds I’ve used in the past. The app provides an equaliser with a range of presets but I’ve been happy with the default. The battery life of the buds has been great and the pocketable charging case is very simple to use, with magnets guiding the buds in to place. I recommend these buds, particularly for those that want the active noise cancellation.
But with the fitting is there a company that will create custom ear pierces?
I bought these for two reasons: 1. to cancel noisy discussions at work and 2. while on my bike trainer.
The ANC is adequate for the first reason and it helps on deadening the noise of a tumble drier in the garage while on my bike.
For the second use, I can keep my head still enough that I only have to try to re-position one an ear bud every so often. How anyone can move I do not know.
So I just want an ear piece that fits and stays in.
I have a 65T and the ANC is so much better in the 85Ts. The sound maybe considered better too. I hoped the ear bud fit would be better in the 85Ts but I am yet to be convinced.
I wanted something that was easy to carry around in my pocket and had decent battery life.
The Jabra Elite 85t ticks all the boxes for me.
They also look great.
My only criticism might be that they are a bit heavy when you lean forward.
Might be I need to play around with the rubber ear size to find something that fits better, but, I nearly lost the left ear pod the first day I wore them when out walking.
It fell out of my ear and into the road.
Fortunately no drama and no car driving over it.
If you can include it falling from my ear to the ground as a crash test, then they can be dropped from 6 feet onto the ground and won’t break.
The companion Sound+ app makes it easy to configure the sound profile for your specific ears and they have some cool white noise examples for those that want to sleep or focus.
I’m also looking forward to travelling again and leaving my clunky Bose noise cancelling headphones behind.
The battery lasts a decent amount of time, and is incredibly easy and fast to charge, either by cable or by placing onto a charging mat, which I have for my Samsung phone.
I’ve heard a lot of people rave about their Apple Airpods, but I don’t think they are even close to the Jabra Elite 85t in respect of how they look and the sound quality.
I don’t think the Jabra Elite 85t would be suitable for out and out sports purists or runners, but I’ve worn them to the gym, I walk in them every day, I’ve run a bit, I’ve worked out and not had any issues with the headphones.
Not sure if they are waterproof, but they sit nicely in your ears so I think water exposure would be minimal.
Overall, I can find little wrong with these great headphones and I would highly recommend them to friends and family and even strangers.
And cost 30% higher for this quality
Not recommend for everyone
Been used extensively whilst an inpatient on a busy , noises hospital ward and although I was using them to listen to audible books it was still blocking the back ground noises during gaps in the audio.
The one thing I wouldn’t recommend them for is use on the public highway as the ANC is just that good.
Battery life appears to be greater than spec, but that could have some bearing to the audio being used.
Pros:
– The fit is great and comfortable for my ears. I am wearing these for long sessions and I often forget I have them on. I was initially worried with the open design and oval shaped buds, but I was very pleasantly surprised in the end.
– The sound quality is great, bass is solid. If you want more bass you can always use the EQ on the app (which is also great).
– ANC and HearThrough modes are fantastic. I don’t know how ANC compares with other premium models firsthand, but it seems perfect for my needs.
– Wireless case is great. Sleek design and wireless charging has been a selling point for me.
– Battery life is as advertised, and pretty much what you would expect from a premium pair nowadays.
– Call quality is very clear. Friends and colleagues have complimented the sound a few times now.
Cons
– Multipoint is great when it works, but sometimes it can get a bit flakey when you’re using your earbuds with a laptop. I guess this is fine considering these earbuds are not optimised for laptops anyway.
– It’s a shame they’re not as water resistant as the 75t active, but I’m not too fussed personally as IPX4 should be enough for my personal daily use.
Conclusion:
I recommend this pair if price isn’t an issue, they are very well rounded with lots of great features.
If you’re not really fussed with ANC or the other minor improvements over the previous models (12mm speakers, 6 microphones), or if you’re a fitness enthusiast, then maybe the 75t active are more suitable for you. Either way this a fantastic pair overall, very happy with my purchase!
Kurzer berblick:
Positiv:
– Gutes ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) mit, allein dafr, 4 Mikrofone
– Telefonie funktioniert sehr gut, man wird deutlich verstanden
– Sehr gute App Sound+ mit vielen Einstellungsmglichkeiten
– Kabelloses Laden der Ladestation mglich
Neutral:
– Leichtes Hintergrundrauschen vorhanden, jedoch sehr schwach wahrnehmbar
– Laufzeit gerade mal knapp 6 Stunden
– IPX4 Zertifizierung (Schutz gegen allseitiges Spritzwasser)
Negativ:
– SOUND –
Once adjusted – awesome. Out the box – I never thought I’d say it for a pair of tiny earbuds, but they probably have a bit too much bass by default that overpowers everything else somewhat. I typically listen to music with quite a lot of bass, and I felt like my brain was being liquified… My normal EQ settings are very similar to the “Energetic” EQ mode in the Sound+ app, but that made it unlistenable.
However, this is a really easy fix with the really convenient and easy to use Sound+ app. I turned the bass down a touch in the equaliser and they now sound awesome. Great clarity and range, and my go to test track sounded exactly how I’d want it. Lows clear, and highs never getting distorted even at high volume. Overall very impressed after some tweaking.
An annoyance I have is you can only use the right earbud alone as the left connects to the right, rather than your phone. Shame really as like to have the options, but not the end of the world. It does mean though that if you take the right bud out, even temporarily to hear, the music will shut off.
– CALLS –
Everybody I have spoken to on the phone has said I sound very clear with no real background noise, and the quality of what I am hearing is crisp and clear. The sidetone feature is great to be able to hear yourself somewhat whilst speaking, and allows you to still comfortably speak with both earphones in rather than having to take one out to save you echoey boomy head voice. Not perfect but a definite qol improvement.
– FIT/COMFORT –
I always go for the largest earbuds and these provided a great seal and block out plenty of sound on initial testing. Unfortunately for me, they leave somewhat to be desired on the move. The larger size tends to gradually want to slip out for me, especially after significant talking, and the smaller eargel is just too mall to adequately block out sound and create that good seal. One thing – be careful when taking off the eargels, they have a very secure fit and the silicone doesn’t like stretching.
I like how small these are in your ear, and they definitely look swish. I do wish they had a slightly rubberised texture though, like the active, as they are VERY slippery to handle so you had better take care!
– USABILITY –
Dead simple. The Sound+ app is really easy to use and allow for good EQ adjustment, presets, earbud shortcuts and more. You can configure each earbud for single, double and triple tap commands from a preset list. Which covers most bases. Only thing these earphones could have maybe done with is volume controls or at least an option to use the button press combinations to adjust this, but hey ho.
Battery life is stellar on these. I have used for almost a full day and never run out. Chances are you will have breaks during wearing, and these little charge-ups mean you will rarely run out of battery during a day – if ever.
– NOISE CANCELLING/HEARTHROUGH –
Active Noise cancelling arrived on the earphones via a firmware update in October – the first time any earphones have got this after launch. This adds a really great feature to these already great earbuds and it works very nicely indeed, blocking out a very large amount of background noise. As they aren’t designed for noise cancelling, it isn’t the strongest and isn’t adjustable but gets the job done nicely.
Heathrough is also a great feature that really does allow you to hear the surrounding world with your buds in – and is adjustable in the Sound+ app. Also handy for those times you maybe want the “do not disturb me” look out and about but want to hear all.
– CONCLUSION –
A good buy, and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Good sound, lots of features and great battery life. Noise-cancelling now makes these even better for no extra cost as well! I’d go for the active model over these for the better feeling buds and waterproofing, but these will always be that bit cheaper.

These are feature rich IEM’s however there are some notable things missing. The biggest is the lack of high definition audio codecs, which will ultimately affect the sound quality if you are listening to high bit rate or lossless music files. The Elite 75t’s only support SBC & AAC audio codecs, there is no support for aptX, aptx-HD or LDAC. This is a serious omission, so what does this mean in the real world, if you’re an iPhone user not a lot. iPhone utilises the AAC codec and it’s highly optimised in the iOS operating system. However, if you’re an Android user, then you’re potentially missing out on the ability to listen to your music in the highest possible quality, and considering the cost & competition this is disappointing.
Ease of use is where things get interesting with the Elite 75T’s, the Jabra Headphone app makes the initial set up of the IEM’s a breeze. It walks you through a hearing test so you can configure them to your personal tailored sound profile, it also allows you to configure the button controls on each IEM to your own personal taste. I honestly haven’t seen any other IEM’s from a mainstream manufacturer that you allow you this degree of customisation. The app also takes care of other duties like providing an equaliser to tailor the sound to your liking and also the level of active noise cancellation, update the firmware of the IEM’s. Finally there is also the Find My Jabra function, which can help you find lost earbuds, it can locate each individual ear bud and get it to play a high pitched sound to aid finding them. Now that’s a really nice touch!
To conclude, for iPhone users the Jabra Elite 75T are a no brainer, cheaper than the competition, more features & better sound quality the competition. For Android users it’s not quite so clear cut, there are equally capable competitors out there that support more HD audio codecs, so in theory should produce a better sound. However in testing I found that not to be case, the Jabra’s held there own so colour me impressed!

The functions available via the smartphone app are equally excellent, I love the moments setting having present levels for a different use, the HearThrough sound modes is another excellent when out conducting activity the HearThrough enables the sound in your surrounding area to be fed through, the was great when hearing for car or out people around me however does also amplify the wind noise the volume of the HearThough can be adjusted and wind noise of a bicycle is avoidable.
The sound quality through the headphone is great I like the music equalizer for manual adjustments or present music levels for different types of the music of listens preferences, the soundscape is another interesting feature giving the available of playing background sounds such as rainfall, waves, etc.
The gestures are very helpful, I like the mute/ pause whatever is playing when one earphone is removed, I like to available setting of the functions buttons on each earphone, however, I haven’t used this to it fullest as the single press works well but when I am conducting activity the multiple presses ends in me trying not to knock them out.
The headphones are a good fit when using but at times when moving around the headphones have fallen out.
I like the fact the battery level indicator light aluminate when the charging box is opened.
Finally, I feel the headphone are excellent, but we are paying the price for a great bit of kit.
After a bit of use, I have noticed that the headphones do fall out when I am active and moving my head.

Moving onto the earbuds themselves, first impressions were that they had a very “premium” look about them, you could see the holes cut into them for the microphones to handle calls and came bundled with 3 different sizes of rubber adapters for different ear sizes which is pretty standard. They also feature a large button on each bud that controls various functions such as pause, play, skip etc. and various assistant functions like google and siri.
An area where I always though these wireless earbuds would fall flat when compared to my over-ear headphones was noise cancellation, how could such small ear buds that go inside the ear really match those that cover the ear completely? I would place them somewhere between my over-ear headphones (that cost 3x the price!) and the generic set I bought, but certainly very close to the over-ear headphones. Traffic, wind and even my partner trying to talk to me in the same room (I’ll leave you to decide whether that’s a “must have” feature or not) are completely inaudible when the earbuds are fully inserted. One very nifty feature that is also present in this set as well as my over-ear headphone is the ability to activate a “hear-through” mode, which uses the in-built microphones to transmit the sound through the headphones. Essentially it allows you to have a conversation and hear the other person perfectly without the need to remove your earbuds.
The only negative I feel these headphone have is also part of a nifty feature they have above my generic ones, which is when you remove one of the earbuds this is detected and the music is paused automatically. This means you can only use the right earbud solo, not the left.

Lots of reviewers have said these are bass heavy, but In my opinion they are perfect!
The buttons are easy to operate, better than the 65t’s, and pushing them doesn’t force the Earbuds further into your ear!
The case is a huge improvement….. Smaller, lighter, and USb-C!
One thing I have noticed is that they are mega fiddly to get out of the case! The advantage over the 65t’s case is the Earbuds are held in by a magnet, but good grief the Earbuds are snug, so getting them out can mean several attempts!
Great colour! I thought the titanium black looked too grey, but in reality the colour looks nice and executive!
Overall great product!
