Unlike the catches you put on the inside of cupboards (which my son broke) these safety locks are easy to use and Unbreakable. My older children can use them easily too.
They are pretty large, but baby can’t open it at all and it’s easy to get on and off. Just pinch and pull
Would of liked a little bit longer as all cupboards door handles are not set at same distance as with that they don’t reach the gift I gave to friends for there child.
Besides above they do the job if handles are closer and perfect .& easy to use.
This is a great set of Child Cabinet Safety Locks. I actually had to buy them to keep my cat out of my cupboards to get him from getting him from taking my Lego brick sets apart. They do work good except he is still able to reach a little under the cupboard and sneak his paw under the cabinet and swoop his paw to try to get some Lego bricks out. Overall I am happy with these locks and so are my Lego sets. They are very easy to install on vertical cupboard handles.
I was concerned that they might scratch our cupboards so passed them on to our niece to keep her very active toddler safe. She is really impressed with them.
We are currently using these on our cupboards and they work really well I even have it on regular knobbed cabinets and they still work without coming off. Good price and purchase!
Work excellently! I hate the way they look,, but at least there’s not holes in my cabinets and no install. Just clip it on and watch all your family members have a touch time getting in the cabinets

Perfect to keep your little ones out of harmful things, specially in the kitchen. Someta I think they’re not only childproof but adult proof as well lol, just make sure your hands are not greasy or wet when trying to open it.

Great product to strongly secure adjacent cupboard doors from children. Simple to attach and remove.
This was the second set of child locks I purchased from Amazon – the first (adhesive) didn’t work out at all with our cabinets! I was resistant to purchasing these at first because they are visible, but I’m so glad I did. They are easy to put on and remove, and highly effective – our cats haven’t gotten into their food cabinet a single time since we put these on! (Yes, we bought these to keep cats out of cabinets – not kids.) They are solid, I think they’ll last a long time, and the appearance doesn’t even really bother me at this point.
Easy to use as I only need to fasten cupboard doors when she visits
I purchased these to use at my dad’s and in law’s houses when we visit. They are so easy to install, and you can take them with you when you’re done. I do think they work better on handle ms rather than knobs. There were a few occasions with cabinet knobs that the fastener wasn’t tight enough and my 16 month old was able to slip it off and get into the under sink cabinet in my dad’s kitchen. Luckily I was in the room and stopped him as he opened the door. Two big downsides are (1) that you need a double door cabinet with external knobs/handles to affix this lock and (2) you risk scratching the hardware if your kid jiggles the doors a lot.
Full disclosure, we have the magnetic cabinet locks at home. Since we are renters, I used the adhesive mount rather than screwing them into the cabinet bases. This also works for the single door cabinets. My son was able to detach the locks from the kitchen sink by shaking and pulling on the doors a lot. I replaced that one pair of locks with the adhesive strap lock, like I use for the toilet lid, fridge door, and laundry closet. The strap works well and will *allegedly* remove cleanly if you heat it with a hairdryer first.
My 18 month old twins are into anything they can get open. This secured all cabinet and my pots and pans are now not everywhere. Easy to install and unlatch for adults!

These fit all of the cabinets in my house. They are sturdy and very easy to install. My toddler could probably figure out the mechanism to open it, but there’s no way his fingers would be strong enough. I’ve watched him test it quite a few times already with no success. It does what it’s supposed to do!

These are very easy to add to cabinets. You will need to work the lock back and forth several times to loosen it up. But very easy to use. Highly recommend!
The best child proof cabinet locks I’ve found. Love these. We use to have safety first locks that didn’t fit our small knobs well. We would adjust them tight and they damaged our cabinets. Our second toddler would pop them off, so I had to find different locks. These locks stay on and are really awesome.

They work well. Better than the rest of the locks I have tried. The lock system is good. We were able to put it on one of our shoe racks which did not have handles rather it had knobs. But they fit just fine.
I don’t have kids but I have the weirdest cat on the planet. He loves to open and slam the bathroom cabinet in the morning to wake me up, because he needs to eat right away or he’ll die of starvation… so if you have a tiny human crawling around or an annoying cat you don’t want to eat you, these are perfect for the job!
This is exactly what I was looking for. I have an 11 month old who loves to get in my cabinets and pull everything out. This stops that without me constantly intervening and makes for a lot less mess to clean up!
I’m very satisfied with these put them on my cabinets to prevent my 3yr old from opening and closing the doors. But 3yr old is too smart. He knows how to get it off but doesn’t know how to put it back on…lol So if you have a clever 3yr old like mine. I suggest you find an alternative locking method. It’s easy to to slide on and off. It is age appropriate for babies not for clever lil toddlers.

I have bought the same product before, only it was made by another company. These do the job, but are kind of stiff and hard to open. I suppose some might consider this a good thing if their child has figured out how it works. I wouldn’t buy these again because they are annoying to get back open once placed. At least I can feel confident that my son won’t get into the cabinets.
Ok so first I was disappointed as it just about was too short for my knobs but then I got this genius idea to try to use a candle to melt off a bit of the plastic on the round part of the lock. It has 2 layers of plastic one the actual lock and the other a piece coming out of that into the curve. So I melted that piece off and it’s working amazing. Fits well and let’s me have some more time spent otherwise than putting everything back into the closets that my 2 yr old unpacked. No more messing closets up! Thanks

These are great for my type of cabinets (picture attached) Works better than the ones I got at Walmart I had to get rid of.
Now my behemoth of a baby won’t get in the pots and pans and make his on pan band.
This item is/was an item that could’ve been great for us but it fell short an inch or two. Granted I measured my cabinet handle distance and because both were approximately 5 inches it was perfect to buy. On one of the images you can see that the locking mechanism is in the back part instead of within the the two tubes that slide on to the device. Because of that it fell short on being able to lock the cabinets I needed it for (Baby proofing lower cabinets). I rated this 5 stars not because it failed for what I needed it for, but because I can recommend this item to others as long as it fits their need. Hope the pictures and review helps others.
Works perfectly for my cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom! My daughter is 2 & she has figured out two different types of baby locks nd i have to say she has not figured this one out and gave up! Perfect for what I wanted it.
We got these for a couple of cabinets in our apartment. They are very quick to install and easy to use.
Used it to lock cabinets and closet doors. Worked very well. Not giving it a 5 star because when you open the guard you are left with the lock in your hand, which you have to find later when you want to relock the door/cabinet. It’s fine if you open the door just to take something out, but if you open the toy closet doors so the kids could play for an hour, you might not remember where you put the lock for the guard. A different version that I used to have, had the lock hang from the guard. You couldn’t disconnect it completely, thus you never had the problem of having to find the second part of the guard to lock it..

Of course, the downside is that you need to have two cabinet doors next to each other to use these locks. We have a few doors that don’t have mirrored pairs and these locks are useless for them. Bear that in mind when considering these; pets or kids alike.
These locks are perfect for double handed cabinets, no magnets or under-cabinet hooks to mess with! They click into place and you can open them with one hand. They seem durable and fit various hardware styles.
I love these locks! They’re sturdy and easy for me enough to open and close. My muscleman of a toddler isn’t strong enough to break them trying to get into cabinets like other locks we’ve had.

Works great to keep really young kids out. I bought for the art supply cupboard, my 7 and 10 year old can get in (I showed them how) without issues but the 4 and 2 year olds can’t.
If you accidentally put the lock piece on backwards it is VERY hard to get back off again. Took me a good 10 mins to get it open after the locking piece was pushed on backwards. Works great other then tha

Works very well to keep my fat, lard-filled glutton of a cat from getting into the cabinet where we store her food and help herself to a feeding free for all at 4 AM. I can finally sleep easy knowing that my well fed cat will not overfeed, making such a racket with the bag that she wakes me up. I can finally get rest. And my amorphous mass of adipose and fur will finally start slimming down and resemble a cat again.

I have to say these child locks are definitely child proof…I bought a different set before I came across these and I have to say they weren’t up to par. My kid who’s 3 just opened them right up.i bought them at low$ so yeah stay away from those, definitely 1 star for them. But these here I definitely recommend specially if ur little one likes to get into things.
This review is written by Dianne Zalewski: We ordered a package of four in anticipation of a visit by our son, his wife, and our 20-month-old grandson. We used three in the kitchen and one in the guest bathroom. The curious grandson tried every one of them several times, and they kept him out of the cupboards. One adult made one mistake putting the lock back; he put it on backwards, so the daughter-in-law with slender fingers had to squeeze her fingers between lock and the cupboard to open it up. Lesson learned!
Super easy to install compared to most baby-proofing products. Use your sense to know if it’s appropriate for your cabinet – you must have 2 looped handles to lock together. Been using daily for a couple of months and seems to be holding up. They feel kind of cheap, so I may review again after a year or so to see if they actually hold up.
