I was a little sceptical about this as some of the reviews could have put me off – glad I ordered it the drainer is well made and I really like that u can extend it or use it smaller for a couple of items
The product is very nice and pretty. As the picture
Hate dish drainers but Loved this -just had my Butcher’s Block worktop sanded and sealed again! Not a problem, but the dust !!! Decided I had to have a dishdrainer but absolutely HATE the plastic jobs etc. Saw this Joseph one and thought it looked a lot better. Very pleased – really don’t want a dish drainer on my worktop – but if I have to have one – this is it. It’s modern, small but extends nicely, and the drip thingy is good. A bit pricey but then you get what you pay for! Easy to clean and disinfect too.
Great bit of quality kit. As a bloke, I thought…. expensive for a draining rack but you can see why upon opening it.
Wish we bought one years ago instead of basic plastic ones or wooden ones, etc. Would have paid for 2 over the last few years.
Kids haven’t managed to smash a plate since buying it.
We replaced our drainer that we had for 20+ years. We got so use to the previous one we hadn’t realised how many new features were available on drainers these days. So glad I opted for this one. Had been looking at the stainless steel one for a while but couldn’t bring myself to spend 70+ on a dish drainer so when it went on sale I had to buy it. It does fit a lot on when fully extended but because we have a dish washer sometimes we don’t need all the space when just needing to wash a couple of pans so love that I can reduce the size. The spout is so handy, stops build up of dirt on the side board as it drains all the water into the sink. Read some reviews mention this leaked but I’ve not had any problems with mine. Overall Very happy with this.
The design is beautiful and clever. However, the soap pump broke after a couple months. Guess I didn’t mind since the important bit was the dish rack, but worth knowing.
I was prompted to purchase this via Treasure Truck and it is one of the best buys I have made. The item is stylish enhancing the look of our kitchen whilst not in use and yet versatile through the extending tray to cope with the heaviest of loads. Water drains into an internal tray and drips into the sink so no puddles on your worktop. Top drawer product. If you don’t have one, what are you waiting for?
Drainer is excellent, recommend. Dispenser not any good at all as you have to pick it up and tip it when pushing otherwise it just dribbles on to the bottle itself. Using it for hand cream instead of washing up liquid, poor design really
A fantastic addition to the kitchen! For me, the best feature is the drainage spout. Previously, we had a rack on a drainage tray that did such a terrible job that it nearly ruined our wooden work top. This spout directs all run-off into the sink where it belongs. Other fab features are its style, capacity, and non-slip feet. Say good-bye to limescale covered, unsightly racks and trays! Now everything feels tidier and in control.
Am really happy with this product. It’s stylish and practical. I like the slots for the knives which is really handy. It does not take up much space when not in use and ideal for smaller kitchens. I like the chrome effect. It does leak which is a negative but that can be wiped away.
Love this. Bought two returning one as no longer needed. Lovely that it has the soap dispenser. Does show up water marks on the grey which is the only negative. I love the slots for the knifes. I had the model before this one and really love the aesthetics and practicality of J and J products. Bought slightly reduced though! Glad I waited.
When it comes to the kitchen a “one fits all doesn’t work”. I love a tidy kitchen and use a lot of space saving tricks. This steel rack visually becomes one with the steel sink. As you can see on the photo the only issue I have is I need a 2 inch extended spout, however I don’t think it would be a big deal as we use dishwasher for most of the kitchen stuff. I wouldn’t want to have the rack on the edge of the sink anyway if I have the space to shift it and o be honest. But Joseph and Joseph I do a lot of research before purchasing your items, and so far I’m a happy customer. Please let me know if an extended spout becomes available. 😉
