A series of simple intelligence tests, most of which I failed at and had to redo. Five stars for showing me my shortcomings.
Oh, and you can sit on the finished thing, if you like.
The chairs are easy to assemble and comfortable to sit on. I added some wax polish to help stop greasy finger marks staining the natural wood.

Very good sturdy and comfy chairs. Just waiting for my table now. Very nice colour of the wood. Not too light or too dark. The wood is proper solid wood (no cheap rubbish weak wood here).
They aren’t the easiest to assemble although the instructions are pretty good. The assembly process is such that you know once you have done it properly that these chairs will definitely not fall apart. Once I assembled the first chair though, I got through the next three quickly (I bought two sets of 2 chairs)
My only gripe was that all the parts were labelled perfectly – eg front left, front right etc, except the 2 pieces of wood that form the undersides of the seat – see the part I point to in one of the photos. This piece and it’s counterpart on the opposite side are not marked left or right, front and back. This does make a difference. Each piece fits snuggly into only one side, and not the other. You have to try putting both in, if they don’t fit, then you swap over, if still don’t you turn them around.
You soon find the correct fit as each piece has clearly been fitted to a specific hole.
Note to manufacturers/ sellers – please put front/back and left/right on those two bits of wood. It would make assembly easier.
Oddly all other parts are marked very well bar these 2.
That said I would definitely buy 2 more of these chairs once my table arrives if I need them as they are excellent quality.

Having bought the table had to by these two accompanying seats, very sturdy and well built like the table, would highly recommend these seats.
I have similar chairs at my old home apart from these required self-assembly.
I had issues with the courier used but thankfully this was handled professionally by the supplier without issue
The chairs instructions are simple to understand but it is not best to follow them as they can lead to fitting the wrong parts together and having to take them apart again. It is easier to fit the sides to the back and then fit the sides to the front.
People who say they are uncomfortable for sitting on is untrue as they only become uncomfortable after sitting for a long period of time of which you shouldn’t be using a dining room chair for anyway.
They are sturdy if you screw the fittings tights especially the seat.
These chairs are ok. They don’t feel the sturdiest. I don’t think it would be all too difficult to break one but so far between us in a household of 4 with 2 kids we’ve not done any damage to them get. I put them together on my own one evening without too much trouble, just read the instructions. The seat pads aren’t bad quality, they don’t look plastic, and aren’t too thin that they’re going to tear easily. The wood is slightly different between the whole set but I’m sure that any manufacturer would say that’s to be expected with natural materials. There’s a scuff mark on one of the chairs, we didn’t bother to return it as we’d ordered it for a specific occasion and couldn’t risk being without the chairs.
When it comes (eventually) to having to change them I won’t be buying the same again I’ll be putting the money towards something better quality/sturdier.
Very easy to assemble. Nice design and sturdy. Wish I bought more chairs and the bigger extendable table. However it did the job perfectly no complaints.
The chairs are excellent value for money. Delivery was swift and efficient. However they where tricky to assemble ,hence the four stars.
Die Lieferung ging schnell und die Tische waren gut verpackt. Der Zusammenbau war ein Kinderspiel. Das Eichenholz ist hochwertig und wunderschn, genau wie abgebildet (eigentlich noch schner als auf dem Foto). Die Verschraubungen sind mit Metallgewinde, also hochwertig, und die Fe haben bereits dicke Bodenschoner montiert. Habe mich dermaen in die 3 kleinen Tische verliebt, dass ich gleich noch eine Packung bestellt habe. Kann ich nur wrmstens empfehlen. Und das Preis-Leistungsverhltnis ist ob dieser Qualitt wirklich unschlagbar.
Ich habe auch den groen Coxmoor Tisch. Der war schneller aufgebaut. Die Eichensthle sehen ebenfalls sehr hochwertig aus. Mit den Sthlen mute ich puzzeln, gut aufpassen mit links und rechts, viele Schrauben..aber es hat sich gelohnt und jeder Bastelschritt war klar per Anleitung ersichtlich. Die Sthle kaufte ich als Amazonschnppchen- aber denen fehlt nichts! Klarer Kaufempfehlung.

Great product, great price, they look great with the matching table i bought. The legs have a small felt pad fitted to the bottom, a nice touch if you have wooden floors. Overall, i would recommend them.

Absolut spitze, ich wiege 125 kg und die Sthle wackeln kein bisschen. Sehr leichter Aufbau alles passt super. Sehr preiswert!
Las sillas son muy buenas, medianamente fciles de montar, cmodas y bonitas para mi gusto. El embalaje vena bastante maltratado (en los dos pares que he comprado) y algn defectillo no muy grave en alguna pieza. No s si ser culpa de Amazon o del fabricante.
I bought it together with a table. They are by far the easiest to assemble. The oak is solid and the chair is sturdy. Very good quality.
Bit fiddly to put together but nice chair when it’s done, I sit on it 2-3 hrs everyday with no problems.
Llevan un montaje muy seguro, no les he visto ninguna pega, son como se ven en la foto. Me han quedado perfectas.
Maravillosas, buen acabado, fcil de montar, si les pones un poquito de cola a la vez, mejor que mejor. Color mate perfecto con la madera de roble al natural, sin tintes.
Wir haben hnliche Sthle vom Dnnischen Bettenlager, die es aber nicht mehr gibt, wollten 2 dazu kaufen. Das war nun der ersatz. Sthle sind bequemer als die vom Dnnischen Bettenlager, nicht zu breit, sehen gut aus und sind stabil. Man sitzt gut darauf, die Rckenlehne ist leicht gewlbt, nicht so steif. Die Filzfsschen unten gehen ab, ich habe im Baumarkt neue gekauft.
Eigentlich habe ich zwei Sthle fr meine Mutter gekauft. Beim Montieren ist mir schon die gute Qualitt aufgefallen. Nach ein paar Tagen probesitzen bei uns am Ezimmertisch habe ich dann beschlossen die Sthle als Ergnzung fr uns selber zu behalten.
Meiner Meinung nach eine unbedingte Kaufempfehlung.

Diese Sthle sind gut und sauber verarbeitet und stabil obendrein.
Freut mich, dass ich nun nicht nur 2 Banken von dieser Firme als mein Eigen nennen kann,
sondern auch zwei wirklich schne Sthle.
Am Anfang habe ich eine Bank zum testen aus dieser Serie bestellt und weil sie wirklich in einem ordentlich gearbeiteten und geltem Zustand, mit stabilen Aufbaumechaniken und Werkzeug ankamen, habe ich gleich eine zweite bestellt. Da diese genauso war, wie die Erste, folgten danach die Sthle.
Leider ist die Farbe des Bezuges nicht unbedingt meine Traumfarbe, aber ich beziehe ihn mit einem anderen Stoff und schon passts prima.
Den Kauf habe ich nicht bereut und bei dem Preis und der Qualitt schaue ich nicht mehr auf die Farbe, die sich mit Strechstoff leicht ndern lsst.
Also alles gut ……….

Diese Sthle sind wirklich erstklassig verarbeitet. Wunderschnes glattes Holz..tolle Maserung und auch der Geruch geht in Ordnung. Ja, das Zusammenbauen dauert ein wenig…..sind schon ein paar Teile…aber es ist nicht schwer. Anleitung liegt ja bei..und wer mit der entsprechenden Liebe dabei geht, sind ja tollte Teile, der hat seine Freude daran. Ich wrde diese Sthle jederzeit empfehlen und auch wieder kaufen..Ich freue mich sehr ber diese Mbel!!!
Der Aufbau ist fr handwerklich versierte Besteller durchaus alleine zu bewerkstelligen. Die Qualitt ist fr diesen Preis gut. Zudem sind die Sthle sehr stabil. Nur eins hat mich etwas gestrt, was aber ein typisches Selbstbaumbel Problem ist: Es haben fr einen Stuhl Beschlge und Schrauben zum Teil gefehlt. Es waren von allen Beschlgen nur 3 Stck im Beutel, obwohl es von allen 4 bruchte. Das war dann doch kurzfristig eine Herausforderung. Aber es ging trotzdem.
Ein kleiner Tipp fr alle “Nichthandwerker”. Auch wenn kein Holzleim dabei ist: Es soll, nein muss, in jedes Dbelloch und in jedes Zapfenloch Holzleim. Auch wenn geschraubt wird. Den hat meistens eh jeder daheim, und wenn nicht dann wird’s hchste Zeit. Selbst wenn die Muttern mal nachlassen, was aufgrund des Holzschwundes mal passieren kann, hlt der Leim alles zusammen.
Kleiner lustiger Fakt, ganz nebenbei: Wir haben in einer Woche an zwei unterschiedlichen Tagen drei Sets bestellt. Das erste kostete 96,98 das Zweite 91,nochwas und das dritte 95,nochwas. Es scheint sich hier um die ersten tagespreisabhngigen Mbelstcke zu handeln. Werden wohl an der Stuhlbrse gehandelt 😀
der Aufbau ist einfach. Zu beachten sind die unterschiedlichen Winkel der Holzteile, der Stuhl ist vorne breiter als hinten. Ein Schraubenschlssel ist dabei. Ein Kreuzschlitz Schraubendreher wird bentigt. Ev. ein Hammer. Die Holzverbindungen sind mit Holzdbel und Gewindestangen zu befestigen. Alles dabei. Zusammenbau auf Tisch oder Werkbank vereinfacht die Sache. Ungebte sollten wohl berlegt vorgehen.
An die Fe habe ich gleich Filzgleiter geklebt (nicht dabei).
Eine der Langmuttern fr die Verschraubung mit den Gewindestangen hatte kein Innengewinde. Ich hoffe nur ein Einzelfall.
Der Kaufpreis Sonntag= 103,78. Der Preis heute Montag = 98,17. Ich bestelle Sonntags nichts mehr!
It takes a bit of effort to put together but the results are very good.
Good value for money. Easy to put together, going to get two more.
The numerous bits and pieces requiring assembly initially appear quite daunting but in fact it is all straight forward due to the clear instruction manual. The completed seats are very strong and stable, absolutely no wobbling whatsoever, and as good as any pre assembled furniture you may buy in a shop, where you might easily pay more than twice as much for the same quality.
Vienen desmontadas, pero el montaje es fcil. Creo que los herrajes mantendrn las sillas bien unidas, al tratarse de un material duro como es el roble.
Just wanted a small table in my new kitchen, just to have breakfast and for when Granchildren came to stay. Couldn’t of picked a better match for the wooden work surfaces. Easy to assemble and just perfect, it has been much admired.

These are exellebt and finish really nice. All pieces for but you just have to check alignment as sometimes I thought no way this is the right piece but right alignment and position helps . Instructions not as clear as they could be.
A bit tricky assembling the chairs (x2) but once done looks very nice indeed and compliments the table well.

Absolute Kaufemfehlung!!!
Die Sthle kamen in einem recht gut zusammengepackten Karton (je 2 pro Karton wie beschrieben).
Anfangs habe ich mich etwas ber die vielen Einzelteile gewundert, doch dann bemerkt, das es gar nicht viel ist.
Man nehme das komplett hintere Lehnen Segment, die insgesamt 4 Seitenteile, wobei 2 verspannt und 2 verschraubt werden,
positioniere das vordere Segment daran, montiere die Sitzplatte und tata man ist fertig.
Eine wahrlich einfache Aufgabe fr jedermann.
Die Qualitt des Stuhls, wie fters hier schon angepriesen kann ich nur besttigen.
Die Verbindungs Stege zwischen Lehnen Segment und vorderem Segment, sind individuell fr diesen einen Stuhl angepasst.
Man erkennt dies an den Beschriftungen je Stuhl, welche einen Leiten bei der Wahl der richtigen Verbinder.
Nach erfolgreicher und sehr einfachen Montage erfolgte das so verhasste Probe sitzen. Anfangs hab ich mich etwas zurck gehalten, weil man das Ergebnis bei anderen Sthlen minderer Qualitt meist schon am ersten knacken erahnen kann …
Nichts dergleichen. Die Sthle sind einfach super stabil. Mehr gibt es nicht anzumerken was die Massivitt betrifft.
Ein kleines Manko hat der Stuhl fr Leute in meiner Gewichtsklasse. Man sitzt sich schnell durchs polster und der Polster Effekt ist somit
weg. Aber mal ehrlich. Das ist kein Argument. Stabil und trotzdem sitzen wie in Omas alten Benz, sowas gibt es nicht 🙂
Fr normal gewichtige Personen ist die Polsterung am Ges vollkommen ausreichend und wer es unbedingt bentigt, kann sich ja mit einem Sitzkissen versuchen.
Ich bin begeistert von den Sthlen. Sitzen Verarbeitung und solide Qualitt, nichts auszusetzen und einfach glcklich.

Wir haben 2 Sthle fr die Kche gekauft. Sie gefallen uns, sind stabil und durch den Ledersitz gut fr die Kche geeignet. Kann sie nur weiter empfehlen.
Well designed and easy to assemble — exactly what I wanted.
The instructions are idiot-proof with the one exception that the bits that make up the sides of the chair (directly supporting the seat) have a right way up and a wrong way up, but it doesn’t tell you this. Luckily for me I got the first three right and the last one wrong, which meant it was easy to see that it was looking dodgy compared to the others (rather than just thinking it was poor quality and e.g. hitting it with a hammer to try to get it to go in, like you do with an Argos bookcase when the holes don’t line up). They should stick slightly outwards to get the proper chair shape – obvious now I think about it, but it’s different when you’re surrounded by bits and it doesn’t look like a chair yet anyway – if one doesn’t then turn it upside down.
Anyhow, once built – which didn’t take long and was straightforward enough for me, who only normally does DIY at the “look – I changed the lightbulb!” level, to do it with just the one false step – these look exactly like what I wanted, wood colour is nice, quality looks good, and they’re comfy enough.
Two minor gripes: 1. my hands smell nasty after putting them together. Fish oil? 2. When fixing the seat brackets, I couldn’t get the screws to go all the way in to the wood – it does say you only need a screwdriver, not a drill or anything.

been looking for table and chairs for ages and so happy with this purchase. When people visit they are also very impressed.
Easy to assemble. But would suggest you use a good quality wood glue as well as screws and clamps for additional strength. They are very comfortable and look great when finished. Some care needed to ensure the right part goes on the correct side otherwise it wont fit correctly.
The finished product, once assembled, looks and feels good. The grain “is what it is” and the evidence is that the wood has not been chosen to avoid knots. Still, for a non premium product the quality of the wood is better than it should be and actually looks quite nice. The oiled finish is also a bit rough and ready when compared to a premium product but it is also perfectly acceptable even bordering on impressive for the price. One of the four chairs I have is considerably lighter – due to unfinished oiling – than the other three (and one is noticeably darker than the others).
Two of the chairs also have a very slight wobble. It’s nothing to complain about (again for the price) but it is a little disappointing because I’ve ensured that the chairs are perfectly correctly assembled and tightened with no gaps.
I am not impressed however with the quality control in respect of the assembly components. I do think it is completely unacceptable that I should have to pay a visit to Wickes in order to buy a bag of bolts to make up for the manufacturer’s failure to QA the bag of bits included with one of the packages. A missing bolt may not sound like much but it is the sort of easily avoidable mistake that is responsible for increased frustration and the desire to avoid flatpack furniture. The included spanner is also, I found, not up to the job. It’s a thin steel single use spanner that struggles to put too much tightening pressure on the bolts. No big deal – just make sure that you have an M6 size spanner.
I take on board what others have said about the ease of assembly. It is true that some of the parts are labelled – the two bottom struts that run parallel to the floor are labelled “R” and “L”. The two top struts however are not labelled and this is where the fun and frustration can begin. The struts arch in or arch out depending on which way they are fitted. A “top tip” would be this: when attaching the two top struts that run parallel to the floor (left and right) make sure that the edge is positioned so that the upward slope (at the bottom of the plank) is pointing outwards (away from the middle of the chair).
All in all a good product – for the price – but some QA issues in my experience.
Surprised the sets only come as two per box. I bought 4 chairs. Very comfy. Not labelled enough however.
myself and my other half, we both love these chairs, but it is not very easy to put together the 1st chair, as so easy to get chair bits wrong way round, but as pervious reviews there are instructions, but pieces need to better sorted and numbered!.

One chair of the 4 we bought had an imperfection- splintered bit which I shaved off
Very impressed with the product. The chairs are of good quality and were very easy to assemble. They look good and are very sturdy. Excelleny, quality product.
The chairs arrived promptly ( I brought 2 of these) and they were well packaged.
These needs to be assembled as they come flat packed. There were no
instructions in either of the 2 boxes as to how the chairs goes together.
There are however letter to various parts and it was quite apparent that you had
to match the letters of the various parts that go together. You will need a star
(cross ) screwdriver and i would recommend to use a socket set, as the little flimsy
spanner that comes with the chair just not really do much and keeps slipping off.
( only one box had this spanner the other did not).
But once the chairs were assembled they looked and felt real good. Took me about
15 min per chair to put it together.
I would recommend these as I think they are great value at under 68 for set of 2.
Considering the cost of these chairs compared to alternative lack ones, the quality is great. Unlike some previous reviews, Instructions were included for me (with both pairs I ended up ordering). You’ll need a cross head screwdriver (a battery/cordless would be even easier). Once assembled, they feel really sturdy and look great.
Easy to assemble (though make sure you follow the instructions to ensure you don’t put the frame together wrong and damage the chairs) these chairs are solid, look great and are very comfortable for extended sitting.

Bought two of these chairs to check out the quality etc. Found them to be a good solid chair when built. BEWARE though, even with full build instructions, the top side rails are chamfered on ends, and can be fitted the wrong way round (as I did first off) The lower side rails are labelled L,R,and F (left, right ,and front) so no problem there! Have now ordered four more to complete the set which incidentally, match the Hudson flip-top table I purchased perfectly. Just realised, these chairs were cheaper than the garden chairs I got from a well known hardware store!! Would I recommend them? Definitely!

I was forewarned by another review but these are not straightforward to assemble and the enclosed instructions don’t help.
The two struts are identified as being left or right sides but the side pieces forming the frame are also left and right sided and this is not identified. Get that wrong and it seems as if the chair won’t assemble (or you’d break something trying to force it)
Also, there was no spanner included, not a show stopper but definitely annoying if you didn’t have a tool kit.
Arrived within two days. Assembled within forty minutes (four chairs) and look stunning. Highly recommended. Look much more expensive than the 107 I paid. Seen chairs advertised for that price each for similar quality!
ot had these too long but seem a good solid item and hope they last for years to come .
These chairs are perfect for our needs, they are much cheaper in price and about half the weight of our original chairs. When you unpack them they look as though they are not going to be big enough but we have solid oak ladder back chairs so compared to them thats probably why. Once assembled they were the same sitting height.
So we are very pleased with these chairs. We were a little worried because they are described as ‘white oak’ that they would not match our set but they are a very close match. The colour is the same as the picture and the seat cushions are black.
Delivery was super fast, arrived in 2 working days (not including Jubilee bank holidays)
