Needed 1500w and this does that .
Alot of inverter for the money
Boils 1kw kettle to
Really if in doubt buy i
Used for 230v power in caravan. 1 year and it showed a fault. I’ll update this review after submitting warranty request. Krieger were faultless in dealing with a replacement very quickly once I had reset and proved purchase etc.
This product has loads of fantastic reviews.
The install and the setting up of remote switch was really easy.
I have had this unit for little over a year and it’s alarming out saying 9999w overload, I have only used this a handful of times using my dremel.
Does what it says on the tin.
Well made bit of kit, sorted my we camper put to run the MacBook, Drones and my little blender for smoothies on the road.
If you need a good inverter look no further.
Stopped working after little use. Good comms via email with manufacturers in USA to try and rectify problem but fault with unit. Returned to UK address and replaced with new unit. Appears to work but has not had much use yet.
Only other downside was cost of postage to return.
a well proportioned piece of kit, no lumps or bits sticking out, runs my 600 watt microwave , remote control very handy, look substantial
As an emergency standby in case of power cut not had chance to connect ye
Looks good and oozes quality.
Has been invaluable using various 240V tools running off a car battery in a garage with no mains power.
Remote control rated 1 star as it does not have one (or I don’t remember it and have never used it).
Unit was delivered very quick and was happy what was received well made high quality unit with high quality cables I have had few inverters but this is the best I have purchased.
Looks good but only just got it so how can I review it yet.
Very happy with it. Bought it to put in my work van to run a microwave and kettle. Never let me down yet 5 weeks in. Remote is a good idea so I can isolate when not need. Quality seems very good and came with everything to install it. Highly recommended
Added inside my boat 2months ago, for charging phones tablets and a small TV with amplified aerial. This unit works well and has given me no problems. I was a little concerned about the TV working, but it is a perfect picture and sound.
The wired remote is a very good idea, you can turn it off where you can easily get access, rather than having to switch off on the body of the unit (mine is low down behind a step) .
Package arrived following day and well wrapped. I would buy agai
We purchased the 2000w to use in our camper van and it’s brilliant. We use a 900w air fryer and it works perfect without using much charge from battery. It’s easy to install and not too big. Excellent inverter for a good price, would definitely recommend.
Brilliant and great value for money don’t pay to have one installed these are so easy to fit yourself. Does exactly what it says it doesreal game changer for wild camping etc
We bought the Krieger KRU1500 to use in our campervan. The unit is quite compact and easily fits inside a ventilated cupboard. We will be using it occasionally to run a small microwave and other 230V appliances that won’t run on 12V
Decent inverter for solar powered ( with battery storage) garden office.
Easy to install, love that 4 sockets (2 plug abs 2 USB).
Replaced a more expensive, less capable inverter.
Well what can I say bought this unit worked great I managed to burnout one side of the output so it stopped working. I contacted
K KRIGER and said what I had done. Their customer service was excellent said if I return the item and they would see what they could do. I sent it on Saturday and got a brand new one on Wednesday no charge. What excellent service thank you K KRIGER you have a very happy custome
We need to run our 1100W nespresso machine or our 1kw kettle in the wilds. This model copes with either (not both together!). The fitting kit includes terminated cables of very high quality and a 150A fuse and is ready to attach to the battery. I plugged a mains extension lead into the inverter mounted the brilliant remote control unit on a blank faced box next to it, with the cable supplied. On no load the inverter drew 300mA – the remote ‘off’ reduces standby to about 35mA (measured using the battery BMS Bluetooth App) – no need to keep going to the battery box!
I boiled my first mug of tea using 2% of our102Ah battery capacity (BMS App again), and the solar panel replaced that in about an hour.
It’s not often I write reviews, but to be honest, this inverter seems to be very well made, works for those little annoyances. We ran out of gas (just once) of course it was a Sunday where nothing was open, so invested in this inverter just to boil a kettle, or to run a hair dryer if we needed to go off grid.
It works like a charm, The install was easy, the hard part was were to put it.
Love the idea of the remote to switch on and off. there is a on/off switch at the rear of the unit, the switch has to be on for the remote to work.
Brill little gadget. Glad I purchased one.
A well built inverter, used it on my narrow boat whilst away for 2 weeks, it ran the fridge, TV and even my partner’s straighteners and hair drier..
A lovely price of kit although a shame it’s not pure sine wave as my microwave was very noisy through this inverter.
I bought this as a 240v power source to connect directly to shutter motors to override key switches. I tested it with a 1850 Watt hair dryer. It powerd the dryer faultlessly. The unit is well built and feels the part.
The only thing I would change is to allow the 12v leads that connect to the 12v posts on the rear of the unit to be able to be connected at any angle. The leads only connect one way which could make it awkward for some applications.
first one had a overload error as soon as i plugged in i had a 1500w version for 3yrs without a fault. returned and brought a second one have had this one running now for a week with no errors
Brilliant piece of kit. Used up the allotment to charge batteries and boil a small kettle. Very well made with clear instructions.
Used to provide 220v on a fully off grid boat. Runs everything – fridge freezer, smart TV, home-fi mobile broadband. Needed to substitute power cables to reach 400Ah battery bank as supplied weren’t long enough but that’s due to my set up, not the inverter. So far has been faultless. All round, I’m pretty impressed.
I have had the inverter and remote for around a month now. Great for charging laptop etc and making lots of tea! I had a little problem with the cable to the remote and Jim replaced it immediately. All works lovely and i am very happy!
Used once ,seems to work fine on car battery i had the engine running to keep up the charge
As soon as I opened the box, it felt and looked right, came with nice Chunky cable and a decent quality fuse. It’s not a pure sine, and I can live with that. It’s runs a fridge and freezer 24/7 and we can use a 1000w kettle and a 700w pop up toaster with the fridge and freezer at the same time. We did use the remote control, but have put back in the box again, due to the white goods being on all the time, the lights on the remote were a unnecessary drain on the battery. Once thing I’d change, is to be able to switch off the front led button lights on the unit. It’s been running a month now, and I’m very happy with it.
This product seems well made. It’s far more efficient than the 1000w Chinese inverter that blew up last week. Boils 400ml of water in a 650w kettle in about 2 minutes. The old one took 5 to 10 minutes. This one is a lot easier on the batteries too.
Not tested yet but build quality looks and feels grea
Only fitted today but was so simple to fit. Came with a 150amp online fuse, cables with loop terminals for easy connection to battery. Bought it to power a small fridge in a van conversion, fridge worked a treat, didn’t even stress the inverter.
I think if I had to have one whinge it would be that the inline fuse is in the middle whereas I would have preferred it closer to the battery connection and the cables could have done with being a tad longer. But that is only due to where I wanted to site the inverter. Where it is now is fine so cables are long enough
For the money it is great, and with 3 years warranty you can’t go wrong!
Great looking piece of kit great that it comes with cable, fuses and connectors and remote control really impressive package have only just fitted so have not had a chance to run it ye
This inverter will run my microwave, hoover, toaster, low wattage, kettle (not all at same time!) no problem on my boat. would recommend
Seems good build quality, and operation is fine so far. Useful led ‘wattage’ display shows power being used. Seperate on/ off remote switch is useful.
The unit can only be fitted flat/ horizontal. This does require more space. The option to fit vertically/ on its side would have been good.
Just a solid piece of kit. Linked to my solar charging system and works perfectly. The remote is handy as the unit is tucked away.
For the price you cannot beat it.
Now fitted in my motorhome and works fine. One design fault though. The switch is on the rear so to fit it on a frontal surface i had to modify it with another switch on the front.
Great piece of kit, does what it should, seems to be a solid item, remote is well designed and very tidy when installed in a panel, looks the bis.
Very pleased. Normally use Sterling inverters so will have to see how it performs in comparison, but much cheaper.
Only just turned it on but looks and we rks brilliantly
This a very, very good product and I like the remote control too
Seems well made and sturdy. Will update if any issues
This is in my garage/workshop for running tools and does a good job off a 12v 110a leisure battery.
Good build quality and works well
Remote control looks as though it should be able to display the same information as on the panel of the unit but despite the network type cable it is just an on off switch. Unit is very well built. High quality power cable connectors. Needs fitted properly but high quality.
Looks awesome and easily powers the charger for my flux capacitor.
Not so much about the product although it looks robust and of good build quality. More about the level of customer service. They are miles away ahead of the competition. Will take too long to go into details but suffice to say their customer service is top notch. And I mean top notch.
Well what to say o my god did not think it would be this good for the price well made accessory supplied excellent parts
Just what we were after for our VW transporter to use with a low voltage heater and kettle.
Only issue was the cables supplied are rather short so I had to purchase longer ones separately
I have not used it yet but it seems to be good quality, i will review when it is working.
Absolutely great peice of kit well worth the money I paid
Arrives with all the bits needed to fit. Remote control allows for fitting out of the way although it is just an on off switch with no visible voltage value.
Excellent piece of kit does exactly what I need it fo
Great inverter, bought to charge 18v drill batteries on the move , well happy with this purchase
Recommended
Brilliant bit of kit runs all the equipment I need
Can’t rate this product high enough, I made the mistake of ordering as inverter off eBay supposedly 500/1000w only fit for bin. So ordered this one it’s brilliant!! Has output level screen ( watts or volts) is running a 240 fridge in van . Remote on off switch is great too! Can’t comment on reliability but comes with 3 yr warranty so should be ok.
Brilliant product and easy to fit mine runs a microwave in my work van so I can have healthy hot meals at dinner time at work
Put in my camper, and works brilliantly runs my microwave 800watt an easy to fit, would highly recommend
I used to work in Telecoms so were used to seeing Inverters. This is a solid product easy to install and setup. Save time and buy, mine was for three 120w solar panels
There is nothing not to like it’s robust it comes with all the cables and the remote is fantastic it means I can hide the inverter and not have to worry about getting to it.
Does what it says on the tin. Particularly like the display showing power output – Very handy.
Better than I thought it would be very good value for money itll be wired directly yo my leasure battery for the campe
Exactly what it said on the box.
Easy to install.
Everything you need to connect it to battery was included.
Unlike the vast majority of inverters you see on auction sites this one can actually handle the advertised power. I just returned a supposed1500w/3000w inverter that had a single 40 amp fuse! This one is excellent and the remote on/off switch is truly useful. Saves me getting out of the camper every time I need some juice. Cannot recommend highly enough. 10 stars.
Works really well but the remote stopped working after 30 mins and never worked since
Excellent quality perfect for the job in mind very pleased
Soon as I opened the box I thought this is a quality product. I looked at 4 different inverters this one stands out in my opinion. It looks well made. Cables look good quality with eyes for battery connection rather than crocodile clips. The positive cable has a built in fuse. Very important for me, the instruction leaflet provided is comprehensive and useful (not a couple of small pages with little info). It has mounting brackets for mounting rather than portable. Screen is clear. Remote switch is useful.
As to performance. I have only tried it briefly everything appeared to work as advertised. The fan did not come on during short test. This is a bonus other fans ran constantly even with a small load and I think would be an irritation.
Its for use in a campervan with a leisure battery. I’ve given it top marks based on my first impressions, should I discover negatives during more regular use I can update my feedback.
Works great. Feels quality bit of kit
Edit. I’ve knocked it back to 4 stars because after our first major trip out with it, the remote stopped working and it came up with an overload error that would not clear. I contacted Krieger (in the USA) and he sent me instructions on how to clear the error. Would not work so I had to ship it to somewhere in the UK for a replacement. Took a couple of weeks but I got a new replacement that worked fine (I had to chase them up a couple of times)
I’ve now updated to a 2000w pure sine wave as my wife’s hair dryer kept tripping this unit although it only draws 800w max.
I can’t fault their USA support but the unit itself just seems a bit unreliable.
Instruction were really straightforward. Product plugged in and is supplied by 2 * 110ah leisure batteries. Supplies the caravan with all the power I need for all the accessories – water heater, fridge, lights, sockets, etc, etc
Remote control mounted at the door way of the caravan so it activates the inverter instantly.
Really good bit of kit with no hassle.
Having burnt thru some cheaper 1500w continuous inverters I figured it was time to upgrade to something a bit more expensive and hopefully more reliable.
Not disappointed. It was obvious it was far better built by the fact it weighed 3 times more than its predecessors!
Larger footprint too, but with a 3 year warranty, and heavy use, I wanted peace of mind.
Easy install (do make sure you follow the instructions before connecting to a battery or you might just end up with a brick!). Make sure unit is off, by the switch, don’t even plug in the remote. Make sure you have nothing plugged in.
A sudden surge can fry electronics. Install a suitable in line fuse as well and make your final connection using it.
For reference I am running 1000w oven at 240v from 3 x 200mah agm cells. I get hours of use with it.
Faultless.
I have converted a vw crafter into a camper and this product is idea to run everything
Excellent product with all the bits to make fitting easy and straightforward.
We took it on holiday, charged a spare battery with a solar panel, and used it to charge phones and boil a kettle.
I bought this to fit in our boat to power a small kettle and the laptop. It is well made, easy to fit and the cables, fittings and instructions are top quality, better than some more expensive inverters I have looked at. I only fitted it yesterday and tried our 900w kettle and it worked fine. The cooling fan kicked in and it worked as it should. I like the display, at a touch of the button you can see exactly the wattage you are drawing.
Recommended.
works well , well made and the remote is a bonus
Looks good, seems to work great. Not tested with Any higher end appliances yet, but runs fine so far and the remote is a real bonus!
Great Product, it handles my caravan toaster and kettle no problem, True 2000w inverter 4000w Peak(Surge capacity!)
Reads the true voltage from battery too! A+ Product.
Excellent Recommended by a neighbour, and it works a treat – I now have mains electric in my garage for lighting, power tools, bicycle charging and CCTV. I like the cable remote turn-on option, silent running when using mains lighting (and low current devices), the twin USB ports, design, and the parts/instructions supplied.
Excellent inverter even runs low power caravan microwave which many modified sine wave inverters struggle with. Great quality easy to install. Will buy again.
Turned up on time. Packaging was very good.
The inverter itself looks slick, and the remote control is a great feature.
I brought this product to go with my 12v battery and solar panel set up for going off grid when we go camping.
Seems well built everything you need for installation is in the box
Love the remote nice long wire as well
Absolutely perfect for my motorhome
Use in my van, don’t use the remote, powers my batteries and. Small tools that don’t need a good clean sine wave. Not blown up ye
So far so good. Running microwave, PS4, tv, Dolby surround system and Dyson fan in my truck. The product is surge protected, has great warranty and is very well made. Simple to install. Very happy. HGV drivers of your looking for one this is the one.
I’ve installed the inverter in my motorhome and I’m really pleased with it. I was a bit apprehensive about it not being pure sine wave but it seems to power almost everything I plug into it, right up to a 1000w travel hairdryer with no problems. The build quality is very good and comes with leads and fuses.
Read numerous reviews and watched a good few videos. Have been running my solar system in the back garden, making sure all is good for when this lockdown is lifted. The Krieger 1500w inverter is awesome, quiet and well constructed. Well worth the money paid. Would definitely recommend.
Installed in a camper van but not yet used so cant comment on its performance but build quality looks good and the instructions are very clear. So far so good. It will probably be months before i get to use this in the current climet.
Excellent bit of kit up to 2000W, though it will not run a 2200 W hairdryer at all, not sure about 4000W peak output claims, Remote control ok but does not show any info re battery condition. with hindsight i would get the 3000W unit.
I tried it the day I bought it, is superb and well made, very neat and UK sockets connect properly, very impressed
I had to return this unfortunately, it seems to be a well made unit with plenty of features and to be fair, for the money it does seem good value. I found that it couldnt cope well with some devices even though the draw was well under its capacity. Ive seen a few others with similar reviews where voltage drop causes issues, which I experienced also. However, still 4 stars as for lower power its packed with features. I ended up getting a similar wattage inverter that cost much more, it has far less features but takes the load with no issues. Still a good unit but may be worth going for the higher power products if in doubt.
Great piece of kit, easy to install, well made and works a treat. Definitely recommend for off grid in a motorhome.
Easy to install, good quality cabling and looks and feels very good quality.
I have it connected to a bank of leisure battery’s charging from 240w solar. Powers out summer house perfect .

I bought this following a recommendation and I have to say that I am not disappointed. Great product that works faultlessly. Nice looking remote switch unlike others I have tried. Runs my microwave no problem in my camper van.
Well made and does what I need in my Motorhome, runs the microwave and coffee machine whilst staying on Aires with no hookup. Happy days. Have to update, whilst it’s great for microwave, vacuum cleaner and fan it won’t work with my new Nespresso coffee machine. I suspect the electronic on the coffee machine don’t like anything other than pure sine wave and not modified sine wave, as the same machine works in our house of off the solar inverter which is pure sine wave but cost a lot more money, 800.
Very good , silent running , would have liked more in the remote control in ways of what’s going o
All good. Works just as it should and is excellent value for money.
Very good robust looking inverter, you can pay much more for a high output inverter and it would look cheap, but this one just looked very high end in build quality. Was surprised it was made in China, after reading the manual, the name sounded German, hence why I purchased it, and was not dissapointed in the quality.
There were so many options for inverters but I settled on this after ploughing through lots and lots of reviews of several. I am impressed with the quality of this unit. The remote is a nice touch and the supplied cables are decent quality and amperage. I did swap out the fuse block with another because it seemed to use a non standard size fuse so it would be harder to carry a spare.
Good bit of a kit, bought a cheap Chinese one which was useless. This one works brilliantly. Plugged a 1000w heater in and works just fine, for instantly heating the car. Haven’t tested over a long period yet but impressed so far. The leads are too short and I managed to fit cramp on ring terminals to some jump leads to use but I don’t recommend this unless you know what your doing.
Excellent value for money, instructions fantastic in an age where Chinese products flood the market with lousy instructions and details.
I’ve had it on test bench, looking good so far. Of 1 12v battery it will run small compressor fridge and drill all 240 volt. This inverter is the real deal but like all inverter,s read the instructions. I will be running it off 3x 110ah batteries with a 240 volt compressor fridge fulltime. Looks like this is more than upto the job. I’ll report back in a few months.
Great quality built inverter. Built to high standard, comes with heavy duty cables and fuse, remote control, I’m running a 3 battery bank of 300amps works great highly recommend. Not like many low budget inverters with thin wiring, well pleased with the whole thing , and it arrived the very next day.
All tried and tested and I must say I am impressed with this bit of kit, looks and feels well built and with all the cables and fitting supplied (apart from battery’s) it can be used straight from the box, the remote control that comes with the 1500w is a well built addition to the inverter and does not have a cheap feel to it, being able to control the inverter from the kitchen area of my camper alone is worth the extra money, this runs all the equipment I need it to run the most power hungry thing I use is 800w so not really tried anything that needs more but I’m very impressed with it and it’ll do me fine, really pleased I chose this one, no regrets and I highly recommend i
Powers everything as long as you stay within the wattage stated and you use a good deep cycle battery ie 95ah that seems ok for my requirements..only thing it wont run is my small fridge/freezer, tries but after 30secs fridge cuts out not the inverter watts showed 570w as it was trying…may need a pure sine wave?
