Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is the replacement for my original 49 year old Kenwood Chef which I have passed on my granddaughter who is setting up her first home. The new one is much quieter than the original one. I found the bowl light really handy as I always seem to be between the kitchen light and the mixer. The tools and bowl all clean well either by hand or in the dishwasher. The general build of the machine is excellent and equally as substantial as the original. Here’s to the next 49 years of cake making and beyond *****

I love my new mixer! It looks great on the worktop, is nice and compact and feels really solid and sturdy. I did some research and found the Kenwood to have a much bigger/stronger motor than the very cute Kitchen Aids (for instance) so in the end it was the power which swung my vote. I love the option of having the light on or not, and the very easily removable splash guard is great especially during the initial mixing of ingredients involving flour or icing sugar – no more powdery clouds everywhere! I usually hand knead bread dough but this halves the time and produces much more elasticity and a lighter loaf. Have made lots of dough mixes now and all turn out great. I was considering the Chef XL with the bigger bowl as it’s hard to judge online, but this size is spot on, unless you want to bake in larger batches of course. Really happy with my purchase!

Perfect size for a domestic kitchen!

This might be one of the more expensive food mixers, but it’s worth it. Great for mixing, smoothies and everything else we have used it for.

What a lovely looking Machine! Very sturdy and makes lovely dough. I have made several cakes and I really would have preferred a glass bowl, very expensive spare parts!
I registered the machine but the 10% discount did not work at the check out when I tried to purchase the creamer paddle. That was a disappointment so cancelled order, emailed them but to this day no answer.

My previous Kenwood lasted 30 years with heavy duty use and so, I decided to treat myself to the Kenwood Titanium as it has the stainless steel bowl and attachments. All my friends were amazed that my mixer lasted so long and performed so well.. I have always used this type of mixer as my Mother had a Kenwood and I used that one to learn to bake as a child. That old Kenwood also lasted for a similar amount of time. Well done and thank you Kenwood for still being so good, for being so consistently reliable over such a long period of time and for continuing to be a made in Britain brand!!

Just love this stand mixer and haven’t stopped using it since I got it. So far I have bought the Blender and Mincer attachments. The mixer I leave on my work top all the time as it is far too heavy to put away in a cupboard and really who would want to hide such a lovely looking machine!

I bought this mixer over 18 months ago and have used it very regularly for cakes, scones. cookies etc and in particular bread making which was my initial motivation to buy it. It has not disappointed. I wanted a powerful machine that could produce several loaves at once – and it does. I buy very little bread now because using this is so straightforward. I wanted to review this mixer only after I had properly tested it so now I can genuinely say that it was a good buy.

Recently purchased this. Quieter than my previous Kenwood and seems to mix quicker and more efficiently. Used a couple of times so far and am very impressed with it. I normally do a lot of baking, esp in winter, and will soon be using it a lot.

OMG! I received my first Kenwood mixer 39 years ago as a present and it’s still going. I decided to treat myself to a much needed upgrade and after careful consideration, I chose the Kenwood Titanium. I’m so pleased with my purchase and have revived my culinary baking skills again. The bowl is just the right size and not too big. I have since gone on and purchased several attachments. Delivery was prompt. I would recommend this as an investment, especially if you’re thinking of taking up baking as a small business.

I’ve been using my 701 kenwood mixer since 1963 and thought it was time I updated so if this lasts as long, well who knows, one thing is for certain, I won’t be the one who is using it. My old one is still going but now getting noisy so the quality of a Kenwood mixer speaks for itself. Happy retirement 701.

It was the best part of 57 years ago that we bought our first Kenwood Chef. This is our third and each time they get better but that is not to say the other two did not give excellent reliable service over the years. An indispensable aid to producing homemade bread!

This is a great bit of kit, purchased for my wife but now my daughter uses it. It is extremely powerful able to deal with stiff mix products.
The build quality is good with the exception of the shield which does not fit perfectly. This is only a minor problem.
The electrical cable has a handy stowage compartment. Older Kenwood accessories are able to be used as well.

The jury is still out on this the mixer. If you watch the video I’m a bit nervous about how sturdy this will be long term. The dough in the mixer is a very soft Chicago deep dish dough.

We bought this mixer to replace a kitchenaid professional mixer after it stripped a couple gears (USA model running on a 250->120 transformer). We had that mixer for 15+ years and it felt much sturdier and was much heavier but cost hundreds more here in the U.K. to replace.

Overall we’re satisfied with the mixer and the added features over the kitchen aid like the lights, more speed options, more power and better covers. Just nervous about how long it will last.

Worried about longevity but so far nice mixe

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our Usershis our best kenwood yet. ex well made and polished model.
the tools are top quality, and easy to fit.. watched a video or 2 on the differences between kitchen aid and this one.
well whisking raw egg whites was a real winner for the kenwood, and mixing dough was again a winner.
not to say anything wrong with the kitchenaid but it just took much longer. and read the reports on break downs on
the kitchen aid and awful after sales, made this kenwood a real winner.

So after 45 years of service my old kenwood decided enough was enough, halfway through baking a wedding cake! I needed a new one, fast and I’d had my eye on this for ages. Time to take the plunge. The first thing I noticed on unpacking it was the size and weight of the attachments compared to my old one. This is a strong, sturdy, well built, serious piece of kit.The K beater is double the size and weight of the previous one, the whisk is huge and not made from flimsy wires. The built in light is a godsend when caking at all hours as is the splatter guard (anyone who has ever made butter cream will know what I mean). The slow start gets everything combined well and the speed settings are excellent leading all the way up to vigorous. It doesn’t move about on the workbench when in use and is easy to clean. The bowl is huge with two good grip handles and has measurements marked inside. You can buy lots of attachments too. This would make a fabulous wedding present for a couple who have been together a while.

This was a replacement for my old, smaller chef. The large bowl is perfect for batch baking. Very sturdy. The bowl illumination is surprisingly very useful. Overall, I am very pleased with this, but on the negative side, no cord/plug storage cavity as on previous machine, not very easy to clean fixed part of the splash guard and instructions manual is appallingly lacking – be warned! Nevertheless I am delighted with it. Good that beaters can now go in the dishwasher.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersKenwood stand mixers never fail to impress me. Excellent mixer as usual from Kenwood. Kenwood mixers are by far the best mixers on the market. This is about my 3rd or 4th Kenwood mixer and its another brilliant one, not because my past mixers have broke but because I am cooking quite a lot and like to have the latest gadgets. My past mixers have been handed down to family relatives and they love them just like I do.

I have made Belgium buns and bread. The dough hook is amazing no more kneading. I would definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI run my own cake business from home and decided to take the plunge this summer and invest in a ‘proper’ freestanding mixer. I spent hours researching, and finally chose the Kenwood Chef XL. I’ve been using it for 5 months now, and I absolutely ADORE it! It’s sturdy, stable, quiet, very easy to clean, fantastic quality, and very efficient. If you take the time to set the levels on the mixers right, you will not be disappointed with how well the tools reach the edges of the bowl – it took me a little while to get the heights of each tool just right, but now I’ve cracked it, it works brilliantly.

    Worth every penny!!!

Golden Review Award: 41 From Our UsersI’ve had my older version of this for over 12years and I used it daily for making bread dough and cakes etc, when it finally broke I just had to buy another one. I have a kitchen aid but it just doesn’t compare! This is a true work horse mixer and I love it. Love the addition of the light too. Plus the stainless steel beater blade dough hook and whisk are amazing.

Amazing work horse mixer, I would recommend this machine

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy third Kenwood arrived today complete with 5 ‘in bowl’ attachments. The seller said there were 5 but a review said there were only 3. At the price I paid I would been happy with 3 but was delighted to find that I would not have buy the extras. The quality of the mixer goes without saying as shown by the fact that I have had 3 in the last 50 years. I have looked at the other makes but keep coming back to kenwood. They may not be so pretty but there are very functional. I only hope that in an effort to trendy they have not over reached themselves with ‘in bowl’ lighting and fancy flour guards. As a prolific cook I hope I will still be cooking when I come need number 4.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this as a treat for my husband who
loves to make bread. We have tried at various lengths to make bread using 3 different bread machines, but they never somehow turn out how you’d expect.
Using the bread dough does all the hard work of kneading and knocking the dough back. You couldn’t ask for more from this machine. Alongside to bread making we made pastries and cakes too, all of which come out light and fluffy.
We’d highly recommend this, you get what you pay for and it’s wirrh every penny.
Lunneys delivered the Kenwood well wrapped and in full working order. They are every bit as efficient as the machine is. I would hope should anything go wrong then they would stand by the guarantee

Had been researching a stand mixer for a very long time and finally decided on the Titanium from Kenwood. What a marvellous machine! It’s extremely solid, looks great in my new (and very contemporary) kitchen and I love using it. So far, I’ve made all sorts of cakes (of course) and with practice have now cut down the prep time significantly and got excellent results, and have also made sausages for the first time ever. I would 100% recommend this machine. I’m sure it will see a lot of use and will probably outlive me.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI had a celebrity chef mixer, which wasnt great, so ditched it after a year and went back to my favourite make – Kenwood. I had use of the Kenwood Major 40 years ago and loved it, so there really was only one choice, a Kenwood. I have made several different loaves, lots of cakes and a lemon meringue pie. The whisk attachment is very sturdy and made perfect meringue. I also bought the additional flexible beater, which you have to adjust, make sure you buy the right model for your mixer (AT502). Its nice to have the added pulse feature and the light is a great extra addition and the splash guard is very useful. I am very pleased with this machine, as I knew I would be, its good to have the additional attachments to make this one brilliant all rounder in the kitchen. If I had a gripe, it would be that it didnt come with its own proper cover, but I am using the plastic cover it came with just to keep it clean. I havent yet bought the grinder, but on my old Kenwood, it ground up coffee and spices brilliantly and im sure the grinder for this mixer will do the same, also you can grind granulated sugar to make caster sugar. So all in all this is one great machine, so far cant find fault with its performance. Love my Kenwood.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersWOW!! What a mixer. I previously owned a Chef that I was bought as a wedding gift. I have since passed this down to my daughter and decided to upgrade and treat myself with a new one. I’m so impressed with the changes, more quiet and more pleasant to use than my previous stand mixer and the results are amazing every time. I’ve discovered that it has a in bowl light. At first I didn’t understand why it was required, but now after a few uses it is helping me to see more clearly the colour of my cake mix to ensure when it is ready. Consistency for me is key and this really does help me to achieve ultimate perfection!! Kenwood have really set the bar high!

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersMy mum like many others had a Kenwood Chef throughout my whole childhood and I have the most wonderful memories of birthday cakes, christmas cakes, homemade burgers and icecream throughout my childhood. I have lusted after a Kenwood chef for many years and following a special birthday I have finally treated myself and what a purchase I have made! This is the most wonderful machine and has completely lived up to all my expectations- I am truly delighted.
The style is modern and sleek but retains that classic kenwood Chef shape and function that I remember from my childhood. It is so smooth and easy to use and I am turning out cakes, scone, pastries – enough for the whole village and so light and fluffy.
There is a push button start /stop and this ingenious light that illuminates the bowl so I can see when my ingredients are perfectly mixed together- such a nice touch. I opted for the larger bowl – 6.7L because I like to cook in big batches and I am really very happy.
A genuinely lovely machine that will deliver us delicious memories for years and years to come- thank you Kenwood.
