Solid plastic and a good size. Can store a number of items in this and no longer need to buy a shed!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI absolutely love this addition to my garden. So far I’ve managed to fit in a 12′ pool, pool cleaning equipment, 2 Deckchairs, 2 camping chairs, 2 scooters, gardening equipment Inc shovel and fork. And I still have plenty of room. Will be purchasing another one!! Definitely worth the money!!

Seemed quite easy to assemble at first until I got to the back of it struggled for ages getting nowhere
Until I read amazon reviews and someone had kindly put pictures on
Would not of put it together without this persons reveiw so big thanks

It was quite simple to put together but needed an electric screw driver to fix the screws through the tough plastic. Very sturdy and strong when assembled and easily fits 2 full size wheely bins. It helps if someone can jut hold things in position while you screw.

Easy enough to assemble but better if you had help , at least when you get to put the lid on, and get a padlock that has a long clasp on it .

Use drill driver to get screw in but Make sure you use manual driver to tighten..

Some plastic holes are not that strong.

1.5 hours to build. need 2 nd person for roof, but can be done by yourself

Unlevel base will cause doors not to be alligned.

B&Q are selling these, if you want to see in person. But 50 cheaper from amazon.

Went together relatively easy, but not brilliantly weatherproof. Used as a cycle store, saddle went mouldy over winter where rain has got in. About 9 months after buying it, the locking bar for the roof snapped so now cannot secure it closed.

Bought this to replace a derelict wooden shed inherited from a previous homeowner. Needs little maintenance, weatherproof, and ideal for my purpose.

I was able to put it together single-handedly, which took a while- but erected safely. Most difficult part was installing the roof hydraulic fittings (another pair of hands would have been VERY helpful for this task).

They are such good value for money. I paid for it to be assembled, as I had no one to help. The service was excellent. In fact, the day after buying the storage and having it assembled, I brought another. You will not be disappointed. Aesthetically pleasing and weatherproof – we have had snow, wind and rain! They still look brand new.

Wanted a large outside storage box and saw this at a reduced price on Amazon. Having had Keter products before I couldn’t not buy this one. Delivered on time and unloaded and placed where I wanted it by the couriers. Once opened We checked all panels etc for damage and checked all fittings and screws were correct. If you follow the build instructions step by step iti is so easy to build. So pleased with the quality and the amount of space with this item. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully made and designed Store it out Ultra bin. Extremely easy to assemble. I am a normally semifit 82yr old and did it all unaided in 4hrs. Particularly like the use of a single screw size throughout. You do need a power screwdriver though. The quality of the plastic and metalwork is excellent, unlike some I have come across. Highly recommended.

Bought this for my bikes and a few bits to use in the front Garden. To be honest it does the job but the roof should come as one not two seperate bits as it was murder trying to put together and we still couldnt get it fully in. Cracked it at both ends nothing major but a head ache but happy the bikes are in under cover as the Council charge the same for a bike in one of there sheds as a car parked in a permit zone all year round a joke.

For storage of 2 adult bikes and a lawnmower. It’s not rocket science. I recommend your have a power Phillips screwdriver. The trickiest bit is mating the 2 half’s of the lid. Make sure it’s fully meshed but don’t use a mallet or you will crack the inserts.
Good size. I put it on top of some interlocking plastic base squares on gravel (it needs 8)
It does the job and looks well enough.

Great little shed. The only thing I would say is don’t try and assemble unless you have an electric driver. With the amount of screws you’ll be there all day! Very sturdy. Very waterproof! Just what we were after to free up some garage space.

Took me 2 hours taking my time to build myself in the dark with two torches after work, make sure you slide base in at a angle and use a electric screw driver/drill, all screws went in easy, seems sturdy enough yes it’s plastic and the doors move about a bit when opening and so on but will definitely do the Job of keeping the family bikes dry and free up the shed, recommend and a good buy…

    On the upside:
easy to put together (I’m a 60 year old woman and did it alone)
    100% waterproof so far
    Looks fine
    Lid opens and closes smoothly
    The following could be better:
Security – plastic closure at top only, so not a great deal of point adding a padlock!
Structure not 100% solid if moved – could do with more support brackets.
Overall, however, it’s a decent bike store for the money.

I like the fact this is plastic and shouldn’t deteriorate or rot due to our fabulous British climate. I am using ours to store low value items that won’t rust outdoors but can’t go in the shed. It is (so far) weather proof but is about as secure as any other large plastic box. Do not use this for anything valuable. The entire product is plastic apart from the door hinges and the struts and hinges for the roof/lid. It would be quite easy to break into it using household tools. Having said that it wasn’t purchased as secure storage, just weatherproof for odds and ends. One other thing is that due to its relatively light weight it should be bolted down to the floor. I have added a couple of shelves to ours yo increase its rigidity. You have to make your own as Keter don’t seem to make them but the required dimensions are provided in the assembly manual. Overall it’s OK but not outstanding.

This product was brought as additional garden storage and ideal for what I wanted. Good quality for the price, well packaged and easy to put together. The only reason it didn’t get five stars was because of the delivery, but that’s not the fault of the product or the manufacturer. Waited in all weekend for a product that I was told would be delivered on the Saturday then on the Sunday but it never arrived. Other than that I would recommend it.

This shed arrived on time in a large box, which the delivery crew carried around to the back garden ready for me to assemble. Asembly took me around 4 hours but don’t make the mistake that I did by not having an electric screwdriver – there’s around 100 screws to tighten and I did them all with a normal screwdriver and ended up with a very sore hand full of blisters, not to mention the extra time is takes when tightening the screws manually. Assembly took me 4 hours but this would have been around 2-3 hours with an electric screwdriver.

The shed is quite robust when assembled but I was disappointed to find that the box included the wrong hinges for the roof with only one screwhole in each rather than two. This was resolved by a visit to the Keter website where there is a form you can complete to request any missing parts and sure enough, I received an e-mail to let me know that the correct parts had been despatched and they arrived 2 days later. Well done Keter customer service!

The ony other piece of advice I’d give is to make sure you purchase a lock to secure the roof. My previous Keter shed broke because the wind caused the roof to lift and the doors blew open and broke. This shed has a plastic fastener to prevent the roof from opening but it isn’t sufficient on a very windy day and so I lock the roof in place with a long handled padlock (see picture).

Overall, I’m very pleased with the shed and would recommend it.

Good sized shed that's worth the hastle of assembly but make sure you secure the roof when windy!

Came well packaged, 2 of us put it together easy enough, some tricky bits, like the struts, only slight issue was the lining up of everything, the latch and tab for the lock were offset so needed convincing. I’d advise a long shackle lock, the one we got was a little too small at around 2 inches.

We bought this to store logs, as it is not designed for this purpose we have had to make adjustments. We love Keter products and currently have a shed, smaller storage to store coal, a box for the kids outdoor toys, a outdoor cupboard and a bench. Very good quality products.

  44. Tullens says:

Ideal for storing a couple of wheelchairs – too little space in the house or the shed – but a sturdier locking mechanism would be a real boon. We have to use the front garden to keep our Keter Ultra, which makes it somewhat vulnerable to determined thieves (although round our way they’ll probably think we keep our bins it it). We already have two other, smaller Keter garden storage units and I thoroughly recommend them.

I have to say that I am a great fan of Keter products and have quite a few other garden products manufactured by them. I bought this particular storage box to free up space in my shed, I intend to use it primarily as a bike store for 2 x adult bikes and a childs bike.

If i remember correctly the instructions advise 2 people to assemble and it says should take approx 45 minutes, I put it together on my own and I think it took maybe a touch over an hour but i was taking my time to make sure I didn’t damage anything.

The assembly was made easier as all the parts are clearly marked. Once assembled its clear to see that it is extremely spacious inside, since I’ve had it we have had some pretty awful weather and it is dry inside. in my opinion well worth the money.

Really sturdy easy to assemble large storage unit. Was really pleased with how thick the plastic is well worth the money we are storing bikes in it so far 1 adult bike and 2 kids big bikes with room for more. Arrived on time no damage all parts there took roughly an hour to assemble easily. Totally waterproof looks as if it will last through Scottish weather. Would reccomend to anyone.

Very easy to assemble but not sure how safe the lock is. Its just a plastic bolt you push thru a small hole. This could be a lot better and I would not mind paying a bit more?

  49. Anonymous says:

Some of the instructions around the hinges on the top are not as clear as they could be, the roof damper fittings are a little brittle and can split when screwing into them.

  50. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

Liked , all parts were there, pretty straightforward to put together and seems waterproof and sturdy enough.
Take note, make sure the upright pieces are definitely snapped into place, look how it all lines up on the floor piece.

Dislike, the gas damper hinge is incorrectly labelled as having two screw holes when there is only one hole.
Apart from that very pleased with the purchase.

No real dislikes just keep the faith until it’s fully assembled. I virtually assembled it in the dark, it was no problem to build, you just need to clean off some of the moulding overspill.

  52. AngelBirdsall says:

     United Kingdom

This came flat pack and took about an hour to assemble. It was really easy to put together but beware, do not use a power driver to do up the screws as they are screwed into plastic holes.
My only gripe is that there is no locking device at the bottom of either door and the doors are only secure when the lid is pulled down. Other than this niggle, it is fit for purpose and looks good.

  53. Anonymous says:

I read that a review that 3 adult bikes fit into this shed. But I was skeptical. Especially when I measured our largest bike and it was 70″ long. But yes, if you turn the front of the bike, 3 bikes WILL indeed fit! In our case, 2 adults bikes and a youth bike. Not too hard to assemble either, with the right equipment.

I use mine to store garden tools and the lawnmower. Really easy to assemble, the instructions are very clear and easy to follow, took about 45 mins end to end for me.

You do need to put this on a level surface. I originally put it on my grass that had a little slope, and that meant the lid didn’t close properly. I leveled the ground with some paving slabs and that did the trick.

    Very good

The ‘Keter 2000 lt’ represents a good buy depending on how much you pay.
I bought mine for 250 when it was on sale. This happens quite a lot, so unless you’re in a hurry, you may want to hold out for the bargain.
Mine arrived as it should, the box intact, and no missing or broken pieces.
The instruction manual is straightforward, but it’s only pictures.
There are online videos but Keter tinkers with the designs of these all the time so what you see on YouTube may not translate to your storage unit even though it’s the same model.
It’s uncomplicated to put together, but you’ll definitely need a battery-operated drill to get the screws in.
It IS watertight even after a very heavy downpour of rain, although you may get a little dribble near where the doors meet.
It’s quite light, so you can drag it around a flat surface easily… but it probably will blow over in very strong winds! It’s a good idea to secure this storage unit to the ground if you can.
Once it’s full of stuff, that problem mostly goes away.
The two lever arms work well and are a safety Godsend so it can’t slam shut and it will stay open while you’re rummaging about.
It’s NOT secure. Any determined person will just kick in the back panel to nab your stuff. Locks are a deterrent only and shouldn’t be used with confidence as a security feature.
    I would recommend this item.

A reasonably sturdy and very spacious box.

  57. TYYBetsyggjmtv says:

Big enough for 2 large adult bikes (1 MTB, 1 road). If it was slightly wider (or if you have smaller bikes) it could probably fit 4 in. Definitely need 2 people for assembly and a power drill – not all the holes were drilled through which is pretty poor for something that costs over 300! The doors are pretty flimsy despite the rest of it being sturdy.

  58. stephanie says:

     United Kingdom

This thing is massive! It arrived really well packaged which was something I was worried about but it came in a huge strong box with polystyrene protection.
All the pieces are labeled so you cant get mixed up with what goes where and it only has one type of cross head screw so you don’t need loads of tools infact I assembled mine with a normal screwdriver because I don’t have an electric one, 97 screws in total.
Very sturdy when built and the bolt system for the padlock is very good indeed.
The floor is really strong, Im around 14st9 and had to stand and kneel in it for assembly and it was fine.
The hydraulic lid is brilliant and works a treat.
I put mine together with my mother who is a pensioner so if we can you can, its that straight forward.

Got 5 months interest free which made purchasing very helpful.
I really needed this for storage of seating cushions and garden seating materials.
This was the only product on market with the internal sizes I needed.
Instructions are ok but a online video by manufactures would be so helpful
Only made one mistake with the front locking mechanism but fixed very easily
The product is strong and sturdy once assembled although at beginning doesn’t seem like that
Only advice is take time to study instruction and lay out all piece and correctly identify each piece.
Because its so big it take some time to appreciate its good looks and its weather tightness live in Scotland and has not let us down bone dry inside so very good purchasing point for anyone
Would recommend this product but better instructions and find a interest free payment plan over the year this will pay for itself.

    Great quality when buil

The shed itself was easy to assemble. I did it on my own and there were no issues. I would have given this 5 stars but disappointed not to see, like other keter products, a bottom latch on one of the doors for extra sturdiness and security.

Quite a large, reasonably strong plastic & metal shed, easily big enough for bikes and other larger items. Its a two man construction, instructions are OK but you will benefit from having done similar constructions as its not always obvious. Quite sturdy. Its very important that it is placed on a flat and even surface as anything less will cause structure to misshape, put stress on hinges and the like and cause premature failure. It needs to be closed to ensure strong structure. Opening the roof will allow water into interior. Looks OK.
Its a good shed but not perfect.

Nice size. Needs two people to put together. One front door could do with a bolt into the base. Takes longer than the time stated to put together. Like Size and like the hydraulic lifts for the roof. These are better than I thought they would be. Make sure you leave the fastening device round them until they are screwed into position. Leaning heavy things on sides pushes them outwards. Fixing a shelf makes it more stable.

We have purchased this to live the bike out the garage because we needed the space.

This thing is massive! We have 3 adult bikes, a kids bike and 2 scooters in there.

It was really really easy to put together- I honestly cannot work out how people have struggled with this. Comes with a manual like a Lego book. Do you can do it stage by stage.

Me and the husband put it together in 40 mins. The quality is brilliant. Really sturdy and once you add your own padlock. Super secure.

It was bigger than I thought. I guess that a bonus. The hydraulic lifting lid is cool. And if you put wheelie bins in, you can attach a chain (supplied) to lift the lids as your opening the storage shed.

I was a bit out off by a few reviews I had read but I didn’t have much time ahead of our nee door being fitted so decide to take a gamble. It completely paid off

Get what you pay for and all that. I was a bit lazy so the ground wasn’t perfectly level, one of the doors opens itself and also the lock doesn’t line up that we’ll because of it. It fits 2 adult bikes easily but you have to turn the wheels, could probably get 1 more in and a child’s bike too.

I would recommend the blue Abus lock pictured, it has 2.5cm in the middle of it. Initially I bought a different one recommended, a master lock with only 2cm in the middle and it was too tight to lock to the point of being useless.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt will take two people to put the back on but after that I put the rest together on my own it is weatherproof to lock it you will need to buy a very long shank pad lock

Bought as an alternative to metal, wooden shed for bike storage. It is overpriced as for plastic made product but ideal for bike storage. Very easy to assembly (took me less than 2 hrs) and convenient for bike storage thanks to both the lid and the doors opening. It fits 3 adult bikes and there is still some space for scooters, pressure washer etc. Although it has lock system I wouldn’t recommend to keep it out of the property with valuables inside. At the end of the day it is plastic so can be easily damaged. Recommended as a weatherproof storage though.

Bought this to store stuff in my garden. Does exactly that.

I was able to build this in less than 2 hours on my own without much problem. The only issue being one the slots in a side panel being crushed, requiring me lever it open a bit and hammer the panel down when I was installing it onto the base, which was a pain. Got there in the end, and it now sits diligently at the bottom of my garden storing garden stuff.

Very pleased with item. It stores 2 adult mountain bikes easily. Took me about 2 hours to assemble it. Pretty straight forward really. I got confused a little when putting the door hinges on but in the end found it easier just to look at the picture to work it out
Just need to get a padlock for it now.
The wife loves it and says she wants a 2nd one now to store garden furniture etc. We agreed that garden sheds were just too expensive so this was the next best thing. 280 well spent.

Fairly easy to assemble though some of the holes needed to be drilled out. The doors feel a bit flimsy and it requires two padlocks to be anything like secure. Having said that it is hopefully maintenance free which was the big selling point for me.

This storage unit is perfect for mine and my girlfriends 2 bikes and my 2 scooters.
Assembly was easy especially as all the screws were the same size. It took us about an hour and a half, definitely a two person job. Really pleased with it. The locking mechanism is a little bit fiddley to line up to close and lock but I’ll get used to it once I’ve used it a bit more.

Perfect storage for 2 bikes and more!

Went together well, but this could be as I’ve built a similar one a few years back. You’ll find the build goes smoothly if you take five minutes at the start to trim off the excess plastics on the edges left over from the moulding at the factory.

I was surprised at how professional Keter turned out to be, as some reviews made me hesitate. It arrived nicely flat packed [about 5′ x 5′], and was carried through my house for me by the two delivery people. Nothing broken, nothing missing. The assembly instruction booklet was the best ever. No trouble in assembling, but I would strongly recommend that you borrow a power screw driver [86 screws!]. After five months of use, over the Winter, I can report complete satisfaction.

The nomenclature chosen by Keter for its different storage units caused me great difficulty in working out which unit was the most suitable for my needs – utterly confusing.

Easy to put together, would recommend using a manual screwdriver on metal parts. Holds 3 adult bikes easily. Added an extra lock at bottom of doors for extra security. Does the job.

When we open the box and took every part out there was no instructions. I had to go on line and look the instructions up which is bad because some people can’t go online.

Disappointedly, the Storage facility did not accommodate the number of Bikes stated in the Online description of two Adult and two Children’ size Bikes. The combination of Bikes to store were three Children’ and two Adults and the intention was to put the two Adults and two Children’s in the Unit then store the other Child’s Bike elsewhere however, only one Adult Bike and two Children’s would fit in the space.

The store shed is just what I required for storing lawn mowers and plenty of room for gardening tools etc.

A good shed. I needed to get a workman to assemble it though!

Bought this as storage for 3 bikes and has plenty space. Really happy with the quality of it. Fairly easy to build only tricky bit was putting the lid/cover on, I needed an extra pair of hands to lift it into position other than that I was able to assemble it on my own.

Excellent product. Easy to assemble took my wife and I about 90 mins. The instructions were also easy to follow. This is a strong sturdy and well made storage box. We had only one small problem that required us to drill out a new hole but it was no big deal. I would certainly recommend this for its size and durability. We shall be using this as a wood store, it should be ideal given the ventilation built in.

Arrived sooner than due date, You will need a few hours spare to put this together better with 2 people, will need plenty of room to get all the large parts out of the box as its fixed in with polystyrene , not the best written instruction’s more in pictures to follow where part’s have to go. Once it’s put together looks good., it arrived & put together today, dry day so can’t test how waterproof it is did hose it down to get all the white bits off once it was put together seemed to be ok..
