Leider fehlten bei uns zwei Schrankgriffe. Ich schrieb eine E-Mail an Amazon und direkt 2 Minuten spter bekam ich einen Anruf mit 3 Lsungsvorschlgen. Wirklich Top Service, danke dafr!!
Leider war ich mit den Vorschlgen vorerst nicht so ganz zufrieden und entschied mich dafr direkt den Hersteller anzuschreiben. Auch dort bekam ich relativ schnell eine Antwort und eine Besttigung ber Ersatzteile. Diese kamen aus den USA, ein Griff war Original verpackt, der andere lose. Er war schmutzig, verkratzt und vergilbt… da war ich dann schon etwas genervt! Ich hielt den Griff an die Kche und dachte mir, das es mich einfach strt. Auch fr einen spteren evtl Weiterverkauf. Also schrieb ich den Hersteller wieder an mit Fotos im Anhang. Auf den neuen Griff warte ich aktuell noch!
Ansonsten finde ich die Kche wirklich sehr s. Unsere Kleine spielt sehr gerne damit. Sie erfllt voll und ganz ihren Zweck. Lediglich die aufgedruckten Details sind wohl nicht lange haltbar und die Farbe geht sehr schnell ab. Der Mitgelieferte Kochlffel hat keine 2 Min gehalten. Er brach beim abhngen einfach durch. Wohl aus Pressspan und sehr minderwertig! Trotzdem wrde ich die Kche wieder kaufen und auch verschenken! Wenn ich sehe wie viel spass unsere Maus beim Spielen hat!
Mio marito ci ha impiegato una mattinata a montarla, pratico di montaggi e, la consistenza tutta il legno della cucina giustifica il tutto. Ogni pezzo numerato e facilit cosi la combinazione dei pezzi da assemblare.
fornita di fornelli stile americano anni 80, orologio, telefono, completa di pensili, una cucina che durer sicuramente nel tempo e, mia figlia x i suoi 3 anni che compir a giugno, sono sicura che rimarr entusiasta della sorpresa.
Io spero solo di riuscire ad aspettare la data del compleanno perch mi piace troppooo.

Kids love the bright colors .Big enough for a few kids to play at one time. Wish it had a matching washer dryer set .And also it would have be nice to have it come with a few pots and pans.
From reading other reviews, I knew the screws were not going to be labeled very well and I would have to guess where to use the white ones versus the pink ones versus silver. I read ahead to figure this out and labeled it accordingly on the pages uploaded here in my review. I had one dowel leftover in the end. I’m pretty sure I didn’t miss anything and the kitchen is still standing, so we’re all good! Haha.
There’s a certain order that things should be done on certain pieces. I wrote down notes on this to save you time should you buy this kitchen. Lastly, if you’re using a power drill, be careful with the stove top and clock as drilling too hard will break through the plastic. Just be careful in general with the drill… too much force will break the boards.
The kitchen did not come with all of the food accessories in my picture. I bought the KidKraft Tasty Treats Play Food Set (115 Pieces) on Amazon. And while it’s cool that there’s 115 pieces; there’s 115 pieces that end up on the floor. In hindsight, I probably should have bought a smaller set, like 20 pieces or so. Just a tip for you all.

If you are looking for an almost real kitchen for your toddler or elder kid, look no further. This is perfect for my 2.5 year girl and she absolutely loved it. The doors and knobs are very smooth and can stand rough usage. I like the full size refrigerator which could hold all of her play toys for kitchen as well. Lot of storage for keeping things tidy. Additionally the color combination is very perfect and the whole setup has given my living room a new cute look..
The hard part: it has lots of small pieces which needs to be fixed in the right way for the piece to look as it is supposed to be. Me and husband took all of the evening from 6 pm to almost 10pm to finish this huge task, very tiring !! But the output delighted us. The instruction book could be in color which could ease a lot of confusion in finding the right pieces, it’s in black and white . We had to redo our screwing a couple of times since we had done with wrong side on some pieces, the pictures are not very detailed in the holes and other bends in the piece to help us know the alignment. We have done more than 10 ikea products and everything in our home is ikea.. none of them have made us sweat so much .. wish the pieces and instructions could be better improved for DIY customers!
My daughter just turned 2 and we bought his for her birthday. It’s a nice size she can grow with. My husband is handy it it took just under 2 hours to put together. Well crafted with no marks or chips. Very happy with purchase!!

Really nice & really cute kitchen! My girls (5 &4) love it. They got it for Christmas (2017) and it has survived them so far! Easy to put together. It is pretty heavy. We have had no issues with the quality. Would definitely recommend.
Great product!!! I love it and my daughter loves it. The only draw back was the back checkered panel has some oil looking stain mark and the oven shelf we were able to put up but not the dishwasher shelf. It was missing one side with the nails.
I’m a single mom took me about a half a day to get this put together lol but once it was done it was phenomenal my daughters face lit up with joy she loved it. Perfect for ages 2-6 very sturdy and tall

Kitchen took some time to assemble, but instructions were easy to follow. Super cute and the quality is amazing. Downside: no counter space for “prep” so the kids get creative when putting together their “meals”. Nothing a small table or little add on can’t fix though! Highly recommend.
Excellent kitchen. My girls 6 and 3 love it, so do their friends. Would recommend this to anyone interested in a child’s kitchen. It’s quite heavy but that is down to the high quality of the product.

its beautiful and my kids love it, took me 2-3 hours to put up but the instructions book is well explained, i would suggest having a drill its much faster to screw everything in… My daughter is 2 she cant reach the microwave lol so it will last quite sometime i,m sure! I also have a 4 year old boy and he loves it too theres plenty of space for both to play and colors are mixed so it works!
. was a mission putting it together. so many pieces. And when I say everything needs to be put together I mean everything. but in the end it was worth it. my granddaughters love it.
Aunque la devolv, porque la solicite por error, me consta que es una cocina genial para las mas pequeas de la casa , ya que dos amigas mias la pidieron para sus hijas y estan encantadas. Segura estoy que a mi peque tambien la hubiera encantado.

The directions were not as clear as they could have been and I ended up having to re-do the first half of the assembly because I attached something incorrectly. (I’m no amateur when it comes to assembling things, and consider myself meticulous, so I’m inclined to blame the lack of information/description in the directions rather than oversight).
Also, some of the bolts did not line up with the pre-drilled holes when the unit was assembled together (one of the last few steps before finishing), which is to be expected with bulk-production but annoying all the same.
My only other gripe is that the unit is pretty small. Which probably isn’t a gripe my daughter would have if she were writing this review, which is worth mentioning. It just looks bigger in the picture.
That being said, (most of) the parts were labeled, which made things go more smoothly. And the finished product is a hit. My 4 year old daughter “makes dinner” often and enjoys it immensely.
From start to finish it took a few hours and a little elbow grease, but that would probably be on par with any other kitchen out there.

Como inconveniente sera que la simulacin de cristal del microondas y de horno no es de pasta, si no de una especie de lmina gruesa pero no tan resistente como la pasta, aunque bien sujeta.

Very colorful. Took 3-4 hours to put together. All pieces were in the box with nothing missing. Phone kept falling out of the holder so we added a little piece of velcro which worked great! My 4 year old is tall for her age (43″) and this kitchen is the perfect size for her. Very satisfied with this purchase!
After it was done I was amazed at how good it looks. One thing that looks different from picture is the phone. We had a cell phone, which makes sense to us. All pieces were there and looked new and not cracks. The whole set is of quality and instructions were ok-ish. I had to use amazon photos to see which color handle went with the doors. My only complaint is there is a strange smell (plastic and fish mixed), coming from the set. We wiped it down because of dust and smell, so now its clean.
Still amazing product! Just make sure to have some wine if you’re a wine drinker or at least a bar of chocolate for a happy time break when working on this thing!
Super schne Kche fr die Kleinen. Die Kche lsst sich gut zusammenbauen, hat aber ca. 2 Stunden gedauert bis sie fertig war. Ist aber sehr stabil. Unsere Tchter spielen sehr gerne mit der Kche. Die Optik und die Ausstattung sind super.
What impressed us most, was the superb customer service by KidKraft. My husband had to wait until very near Christmas to put this together, so the kids wouldn’t see it. We were setting it out on Christmas Eve night. He put it together in the shed. He started just four days before hand putting it together when he realized he was missing one small part for one of the stove knobs. We contacted KidKraft and were pleased to reach an actual person right away. KidKraft sent us the piece overnight at no extra charge, they understood how we were short on time. The man I spoke to on the phone was so kind and understanding. It took my husband a few hours to put it together, but he said it wasn’t difficult, just a little time consuming.
It’s a heavy enough kitchen that there’s no way it will tip over. But, light enough that my husband and I carried into the house. The height is perfect for our little girl, I think this is the perfect size for ages 3-10.

The grandgirls absolutely love this but had to give it 4 stars instead of 5 for three reasons: the instructions were in black-and-white but you have colored parts (and painted bolts) that you just have to figure out where to go; comes in one VERY heavy box so if you have to move it up or down stairs you’ll have to find a second person; expect to spend a long time to put it all together. While they did number all of the pieces (around 100 to include the hardware), the instructions were often more of a mystery/hint than what to actually do. (I’m an engineer and it took me four hours.) Tip: Don’t tighten anything up because there’s a good chance you’ll have to redo something (I did, twice) plus the pieces can be hard to get to fit right so having everything a bit lose helps.
***update***my daughter had it early in the end and she absolutely loves it. Plays with it for hours on end and it’s really sturdy. Well worth the money

It did take me several hours to put it together, but I am not very handy and wanted to finish it while my husband was at work because my little was so excited about it. It was not difficult, just tedious. It might go a little quicker for anyone handy or with help.
The kitchen is the PERFECT size for her. I wanted something bigger than her so it would last for years, and this is it. My little is on the small side – 39″ tall, and the kitchen measures 43″. It’s big enough for her to have the space to actually pretend cook and clean. Her Melissa and Doug cupcake and cookie trays fit in the oven, which were not even remotely possible in her old kitchen. A whole new world of pretend play has been opened up to us and I could not be happier! My little one tells me at least 20 times a day how much she loves her new kitchen!
super cute kitchen and we LOVE it! just be patient putting it together, its a little overwhelming at first, so many pieces!! we had parts backward and had to take a breather at 1 point haha. it took a little over 2 hrs, maybe 2.5. very happy with the finished product, our 3 year old is going to love it for her birthday!

Sweet, sturdy and well made kitchen. Easy but time consuming to put together, but well worth it! I like the height too. We have tall girls and the other kitchen units are too short.
This is simply adorable! I love the little details all over this. My 2 year old loves it. She has to stand on her tippy toes to open and close the microwave, but that gives her room to grow into it. It took a really long time to build (about 4 hours). It could have gone quicker, but the instructions are ONLY pictures. If you start with the wrong part of the picture, you have to undo it and then redo it. Certain pages were better than others. I thought it was nice that the heads of most of the screws and bolts had a matching color of paint on them to give a “finished look” to the product. In the package of screws, bolts, etc, it had them separated into groups but listed them exactly the same. That was a little confusing. Just pay attention to make sure that the bolt you get out of the package is the right one (pink, white, silver). That isn’t a big deal, I just didn’t notice that some of them had color until I had already used some.
The only real complaint I have, is that the doors all have a plastic part to hold them shut. Most of them are sturdy, but one was slightly bent when ib pulled it out of the package. It has already fallen off (from the doors being yanked open and pushed closed, which is just part of normal play for a toy kitchen.) It came right out of the wood and now the holes are stripped. Bummer for only being 2 days old. Other than that, it seems to be high quality.
It took of us 2.5 hours to assemble, which was fine – we went slowly, and I am not mechanically inclined. The unit does have a noticeable odor (when I first unpacked it). But, after a day or two it seems to be mellowing.
Helpful hints: some of the fasteners (for assembling the unit) have colored paint on the visible piece. Make sure you use them in the correct places.

Super. Sehr gut verarbeitet und stabil. fr kleine Rume toll. Richtige Stehhhe fr Kinder. Leider hat die Markise vorne einen geraden Abschluss. Keine Wellen. Aufbau dauert, aber ist machbar und wenn man die Anleitung beachtet, leicht.

And luckily it was very easy to put together. Instructions are very well designed, parts (including screws) are well labeled and all holes were pre-drilled correctly. I put it together in less than an hour, and would have been even quicker with a drill. And I am not even handy. If you have ever assembled any Ikea furniture this product will be a piece of cake. Here are a couple assembly tips:
a) The shelves are labeled with an “up” sticker, though a “front” sticker would have been useful too. I thought the holes were not pre-drilled correctly until I turned the shelf front to back – and voila the chalkboard piece fit.
b) It helps to place the stand in front of you exactly as pictured for each step. It means that you will need to turn it around a couple times during the assembly process.
I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because though the product was well packaged overall, there was no protective layer between the colorful register and the white counter shelf, which unfortunately resulted in a tiny hole on the counter and some paint stains. I was able to rub the orange stains off with a baby wipe and my finger nails, but not the green stains. It’s not too visible though and okay for a daycare setting, but I might have requested a replacement if I would have kept it for my home. But overall a great buy. Highly recommend.

Mes filles de 3 ans et 6 ans sont super contente de leur cuisine.
Elle est trs grande et les couleurs superbes.
Quelques petits dfauts mais rien de mchant, ce qui est cependant dommage vu le prix de la cuisine.
Le vendeur tait trs ractif, expdition trs rapidement, commande faite le 24 avril 2015 reu le 30 avril 2015.
En ce qui concerne le livreur UPS, nickel, le transporteur ma dpos le colis jusque dans le garage malgr le poids du colis.
Je recommande le vendeur sans problme.
I absolutely LOVE this kitchen! I purchased it a little early for my daughter, but she is tall for her age and she will be able to grow in to it. We had one damaged part and after ordering a replacement from KidKraft last Sunday, it was here via FedEx on Wednesday with absolutely no hassle. And the best part, I watched this item on Amazon daily for about a month and found it on sale.

Der Zusammenbau nach Anleitung funktionierte prima. Die Anleitung war verstndlich. Nichts fehlte, alles passte gut zusammen. Das ganze Stck wirkt sehr robust verarbeitet. Wir konnten keine Produktionsfehler, Schrammen oder sonstige Mngel finden. Sehr positiv: Fr viele der verwendeten Schrauben, Muttern, sen usw. gibt es mindestens 1 Ersatzteil, falls whrend der Aufbaus was kaputt oder verloren geht, oder spter ein Austausch ntig wird. Das gilt natrlich nur fr die Kleinteile, nicht fr Griffe, Bretter o..
Der Aufbau ist hnlich aufwndig wie fr ein “groes” Mbelstck. Mit 2 Personen haben wir dafr ca. 3 Stunden bentigt. Sinnvollerweise fixiert man die Kche mit dem mitgelieferten Dbelset an der Wand, um ein Umkippen (eher unwahrscheinlich, da sehr schwer) und auch ein Umherschieben (fr ein Kind eher mglich) zu verhindern.
Unsere Kleine hat viel Spa damit. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Absolutely brilliant kitchen probably the easiest piece of flat pack furniture i have ever put together. Instructions were straight forward and showed everything clearly. The kitchen itself is good solid unit.
oltre le mie aspettative sia per quanto riguarda la fattura che i tempi di consegna (2 giorni lavorativi). In due abbiamo impiegato 3 ore con calma. avanza qualche pezzo in caso di rottura. Comunque potevano pitturare un po meglio, vabbe che un gioco ma una meglio pittura sarebbe stato graditissima. La bimba impazzita, non sapeva pi cosa fare.
I bought kitchen like that second hand for 20. in not very good condition. Find the replacement parts online, ordered about a have of the kitchen. It arrived from USA for just 5 days absolutely free!!!!! We rebilded it and the kitchen is like new now!!!!!
This is a great little kitchen. Bought this for a 3 year old who is now 5, and still playing with it. I love the size, compared to all the others available. There is room on top to store more fun such as blenders, trays, and other kitchen items, which you will surely collect if you have this nice unit to play with. It really makes sense to have a nice large kitchen like this if your little one is interested. We started with a little Disney kitchen which was fun for a toddler, but quickly outgrown and broken. This one is big enough for several kids to have fun together, without crowding each other. Also it makes a difference to have room to put things inside the unit, rather than having them all over the floor. Most of the others we looked at had more limited storage inside the cabinets. I didn’t put this together, but heard no complaints about it. In 2 years, there have been no problems with the quality of the product, nothing is broken. Admittedly, it’s only been played with by little girls. Colors are just as shown in the picture, and it looks like a nice piece of furniture in the bedroom, rather than an ugly plastic mess. It might not be good for using outside on a patio, but is great in the house. If you’re creative, you can find various wire or plastic racks to attach to the ends to store play food. That makes room cleaning easier for the kids, and teaches them to be more orderly.
Inhave just put it together and it’s brilliant. Big, sturdy and it looks fantastic. All pieces were clearly labelled and there are clear instructions. It took me over 3 hours to put together with an electric screwdriver, on my own, but if I’d read more carefully this could easily be reduced to two hours. Buy, buy, buy!
I really love this kitchen. As I was putting it together which took about 4 hours by myself. I am under 5 ft and was able to put it together in no time with little frustrations . The main frustrations was the hidden lock bolt thing. It would be awsome if they put a arrow showing which way it would go it would of made this project go down to two hours and have the boards have an arrow on which way it should go. It is pretty simple.with common sense and full attention to the project. How my child love this kitchen. She thinks its her house. She has been on the phone and is cutting fruit up as she cooks her food. Washing dishes and trying to make cupcakes. This item is great for teaching small children where certain food goes. Oh yeah, This kitchen is very sturdy. and strong. A nice little place to store more toys. now for a toy that would make my child less dramatic, because there is monsters in her kitchen trying to steal her apples.
Bought this for our daughters christmas present. Fantastic. Lovely bright colours, great storage and great size. Took about 3 hours to put together (on my own) but everything is labelled and very easy instructions to follow.
Our little one is almost 2 and she loves going into this kitchen…..copying me (her mother) 🙂
We all love it, perfect for kids and I would recommend others to buy it for sure.

This is an awesome kitchen. Very sturdy, the only downfall is it only makes a clicking sound when you turn the knobs. No actual kitchen sounds. Other than that awesome kitchen. Really big too!!!

Clear assembly instructions. Took two hours for two of us to assemble, worth it! It is robust and beautifully designed. My grand daughter, 6 years, loves it!
I purchased this kitchen for a Christmas present for my daughter. I put it together by myself in about 2 hours. I’m pretty handy, and love to put things together, but some of the picture instructions were not as clear as they could have been, so I did have to take apart some things in order to install other pieces after the fact. The pieces are sturdy, and fit together relatively well – I did have to pull and push on some spots to line up the holes for some of the bolts, and some of the bolt heads stripped before I could get them in all the way, so I do need to go to the hardware store to replace a couple of bolts in ensure it’s completely sturdy. All in all, though, this kitchen was a hit with my daughter. She is just shy of 4 years old. After opening the kitchen, she played with it for about 3 hours non-stop. It is her favorite gift. It is a good-sized unit, and I can foresee her playing with it for a good 3 or so years before she outgrows it. Over many of the other versions, I was sold on the modern, vibrant colors. I look forward to the many meals she’ll be “cooking up” for us!
After reading other reviews I was a bit worried about the construction of this kitchen but after assembling it, it is one solid piece of cabinetry. I install closet cabinetry that is similar to this and I have to say for the price this is designed very well, I would suggest not using any power tools to put it together to not risk the chance of stripping any of the MDF boards with the screws, I think this might be where others had problems, I had corner supports available from work if I needed them but I didn’t use any of them. There weren’t any missing parts and everything went together perfectly. It took about 2-1/2 hours at 9:30 pm the night before Christmas. I made sure to inventory every part before beginning which also helped with familiarizing myself with each part before beginning. The parts blister pack was well designed too, nothing was missing there either. I really liked how the bolts were all colored for each section of the kitchen that they were protruding from so you would not see them as much. Tis is built and functions far better than any plastic kitchen than I have had in the past or have seen before. I am now adding to my original review after having this kitchen now for almost a year and reading other reviews of how cheaply built it is. Cheaply built it is not! I have moved this kitchen around my house by pushing, lifting by just the top and not a single problem at all, out of all the toys I have purchased considering it has now been just about a year this one is in the best shape, it gets used just about everyday, doors are slammed and it takes a lot of abuse and takes a beating from a 3 year old who loves too cook. So to all of those who say this is a cheap and over expensive kitchen I think those people need to learn how to assemble properly and follow directions.
To start off, the packaging is ok, lots of Styrofoam and it breaks pretty easily to give you lots of little pieces all over the toy and the area you build it in. I found it odd that the first pieces the you need are on the very bottom, so you have to pull everything out before you can start. The only tool you’ll need is a screw driver, as the hex key and wrench are included. The hardware package is separated so that anyone with OCD will be happy. A little tough getting into it, but everything is labeled, and separated by type, and color. No guessing.
The assembly takes a while. I did it by myself in about an hour and 45 minutes. Would go a lot faster with someone helping, and bringing coffee. Each of the pieces is labeled with a little triangle with a number in it, sometimes it was hard to find the sticker through all the packaging. It went together very easily, and there was no damage to any of the pieces, even though the box arrived a little beat up. Most important thing that they don’t mention, as you put the pieces together, leave the screws a little loose. I got about halfway through and had to go back and loosen them all a little to get everything square. Once i did that, everything worked so much better, and I tightened it all up at the end.
Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. Might take a little longer to put together than the plastic one we had before, but it looks so much better. The kids love it!
We have bought this kitchen as a christmas present for our two and half year old daughter. Thankfully my kind dad offered to put this together for us to save time on Christmas Eve. As the kitchen was delivered to my parents house, I was advised that the box it came in was very heavy. The kitchen had plenty of parts to it but they were all well labelled. It took my dad a good few hours to put it all together but once it was finished it looked great. I was so pleased with it. The colours are lovely, there is plenty of space to put kitchen utensils in and its a really good size. It will grow with my daughter. Cant wait to see her face on xmas day. Well worth the money we paid. A million times better than the ones we have seen in the shops at the moment.
Bought this for my daughters second birthday its fab, the only downfall is that the clock didn’t come with the hands and I can’t find out where to get them as a spare part anywhere, I payed a lot of money for this and it has annoyed me
My daughter has a nice setup going on. The refrigerator/freezer are nice compartments for storage of various “foodie” stuff for play-cook-and-serve. The “dishwasher” stores all the cookware, cooking utensils, and some dinnerware. The stove and microwave generally stay empty until it is time to “cook” or “heat,” and the stove-top gets a lot of action right after school, when her playmates come over for afternoon tea and sandwiches. I usually play with my daughter in her kitchen in the weekends, or if I come home early from work.
And best of all, it is easy to clean. I am happy it is not the plastic kitchen set.
I will update after a few months to comment on the durability.
I just love it, but my kids might have been more impressed if it made some sort of noises (hobs, microwave… That would have made it perfect).
Worth it’s money, got a cheaper one before purchasing this and got rid of it immediately… This will stay for a lot of time.
I purchased this toy because of the height of my six yr old daughter,she is very tall and this was the tallest kitchen set I could find.. This was one of the best purchases ever, its big enough for two kids to play with, plenty of storage space and built to last!!!! She previously had a plastic one, that we gave away,I only wish I would have found this one from day one. She loves it and I do also.
The box was extremely heavy and I had to unpack it and take a few parts at a time upstairs to build it up and there was so many parts to it, I can honestly say that I was not looking forward to trying to put it together!
A few days later me and my partner began and what a pleasant surprise it was! Every part was numbered with stickers, all screws and fittings came on a cardboard sheet in individual plastic compartments, also numbered, along with an Allen key and small spanner (you’ll also need a Phillips head screwdriver)
The whole process took a couple of hours but it was enjoyable and the parts are very well made, making a fantastic end product and well worth the money compared to other kitchens on the market at around the 150 mark.
I would highly recommend this kitchen to all looking to buy, but I would advise to not leave the building until as late as Christmas eve, like we were going to!
This was purchased for our 2 year old for Christmas. We put it together Christmas eve and she’s been playing with it since the day after. So far I have to say, we love this toy. She has had a lot of fun making dinner and doing the dishes and just using her imagination. This has held up to her rough play so far. It wipes down easily so you can keep it clean.
We are glad also, that the shelves in both the “oven” and “dishwasher” slide in and out so easily as we have had to take them out anyways. Our toddler loves to climb in the oven and close the door. It’s her little cubby hole. She thinks it’s great! We have not had the problem of faulty hinges breaking for us so far. But I guess only time will tell. But at this point, we love the kitchen so much, it wouldn’t be too much to replace it with super strength hinges to withhold the abuse of our daughter.
The price was very good considering this is really a LARGE kitchen. You may need to make sure you have the space for it as it takes up a good portion of our wall space in the living room.
Overall we love it!
December 2011: My nearly 2 year old daughter received this for Christmas. She loves it and it is something she will grow into further. She stands on her toes a bit to reach the sink knobs and can’t quite reach the top shelf yet – but that’s ok. She enjoys the fridge, oven, dishwasher and sink especially right now. And that means there will be more to explore as she gets older. It took a little bit of time to put together but the hardware and materials were well organized and labeled. If pressed to point out a flaw, I’d say it would’ve been nice if there was one more shelf in the fridge – the bottom half of the fridge has the “floor” shelf and one shelf in the middle – so the comparaments are a bit tall… you could fit more things in there if there was another shelf. But that’s a minor drawback. Overall – great toy, great price, great fun.
Once together, I was thrilled to actually see how sturdy this set is. It’s pretty detailed, including shelves that slide out (and act as a cutting board complete with handle!) All of the knobs and dials turn, and they ‘click’. The open and close cabinets all secure nice and tight (but not too tight to reopen easily, just saying that the doors won’t open if it gets bumped.) The clock has hands that move. The phone is designed not to fall off the wall – much sturdier than how an actual wall-mounted phone gets secured. The sink is big enough for her toy pots and pans (from IKEA) to fit in. There is actually a TON of storage space. My daughter has a lot of play kitchen accessories and I worried about not having enough storage in the kitchen area (and having to store that stuff elsewhere.) But that is sooo not the case.
My daughter, who is almost 5, spent the last 3 hours before bedtime playing with her 6 and 10 year old brothers with the kitchen. And they all had a blast. This set is clearly going to last her for a few more years at least. I absolutely positively think this set is spectacular and if you’re considering a set, go for this one.
It’s very easy to assemble, although initially very daunting, the instructions are very clear, and all the screws etc… are lettered very clearly and painted to to match the colours on the kitchen.
It’s very durable and my girls love playing with it.

Sadly, the kitchen isn’t very durable. Here’s a hint, when putting it all together use wood glue and GLUE EVERYTHING! Put glue on the screws before screwing them in. The knobs stop making the fun noise right off the bat, but it’s not a big deal. However, the hinges aren’t sturdy and the refrigerator door keeps falling off. I wish we had glued everything upon first putting it together. Since the kitchen is made out of plywood the screws are only good once. If you have to re-screw something it won’t hold. The oven door is permanently broken. They just don’t make things like they used to.
The kitchen is too expensive to replace, I wish I had known to reinforce everything with glue. The kids love it though, even with the broken oven door!
