Qualit incroyable. Par contre il y a pas de valve au niveau du couvercle. Mais je suis plus que ravie
I love this pan, it’s slightly bigger than I expected but that’s not a problem. Heat distribution is really good and I can cook things so quickly and easily. You can cook practically anything in it on the hob or in the oven , I use it all the time and It’s so easy to clean .
Ottimo prodotto fondo molto spesso pesante ideale per tutti i tipi di fuochi. Rivestimento antiaderente molto buono e resistente
Heavy pot but no quality as you can see from the photo the non stick is coming off the sides
Parfait les spaghettis rentrent en entier c’est un bonheur.Je le nettoie au lave vaisselle
Love everything about this skillet, more than I would pay normally for a pan, but this is very solid, attractive brushed steel outside, amazing non stick inside, cooks everything beautifully, would really recommend
Kitchenaid is about two steps up from brands like Tefal. Their kitchenware is really well made, elegant, and if properly maintained, lasts forever.
This skillet is suited mainly for induction hobs. The base is made of solid stainless steel with aluminium core, to make the heat reach every part evenly. I’ve still got ceramic hobs and this skillet is way too large to cook on them. I got it mainly for larger oven dishes.
It’s beautifully made. Very nice, thick, polished stainless steel with rivets and two large enough, ergonomic handles. The glass lid is entirely flat, with thick glass, which makes the whole skillet look really elegant. The handle is big enough and also flat at the top, which means you can use it as a stand. I was a bit worried about no air valve anywhere but it must have some micro-vents around the rim – it doesn’t get steamy inside.
I used it to cook chicken with vegetables and sweet potatoes. Everything came out wonderfully made, very hot and not burned at all.
The inside is covered with good quality non-stick layer which so far works brilliantly. Of course using silicone or wooden utensils is a must.
The only potential issue with this skillet, which I was expecting anyway, is that the handles (including the lid one) get really hot in the oven. You have to use oven gloves or a thick towel at least. I suspect it’s different when you cook on hobs – based on feedback I’ve seen from other users.
The skillet is quite pricey – almost a round 100. Most Kitchenaid kitchenware is costly, but repays the investment with excellent quality, great performance and longevity. It’s worth getting. Therefore only one star down, and not because the handles do get hot, but because Kitchenaid said they do not…
Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.
I love everything about this skillet. It comes very well packaged and in a Kitchenaid storage bag. It is a perfect size, not too large and not too small but can fit lots in. I love the way I can brown things off on the hob and finish off in the oven. When being used on the hob, I have gas burners, the metal handles stay cool! The pictures show sliced sprouts tossed in butter and fried before being baked with cream in the oven.I love the handles each side. they make it so easy to move from hob to oven and take up so little space at the sides for easy storage too. Far better than a frying pan. The non-stick is excellent. Nothing sticks to it at all and it can go into the dishwasher, which is not usually the case with cheaper non-stick pans. The glass lid is fairly flat and the knob has a flat top which means it can be used as a stand for the pan on the worktop. a feature I find very useful. You really can feel the quality of this skillet. It is a pleasure to use. I have a few Kitchenaid appliances and am always very pleased with their quality and performance. I do not hesitate in recommending this product. Well worth paying extra for such excellent quality. I love it.
Whilst I’m not usually a fan of 2 side handles on a pan, they are great for finishing off meals in the oven.
The pan is A1 in terms of quality and finish. It will probably outlive me.
We have been able to cook family sized meals in it … so a perfect size for most. I have also used it to cook whole fish.
Very easy to clean, and the heat distribution is perfect.
Whilst some may see close to 100 as expensive, I think this will outlive cheaper alternative many times over.
This is a fabulous quality cooking item. Comes in well packed box and in a fabric pull tie bag within. The skillet is a good size (I used to make a sweet and sour chicken dish for 5) It is covered in non stick coating which works very well and has a lovely lid. The steam seems to find a way out of the lid enough to keep from becoming so steamed up that you can see what’s cooking, I found it was well made but not too heavy to pick up from the oven, the handles are easy to grip and didn’t get too hot to touch, although I did use gloves to lift anyway at first (just in case). I made a large meal in mine and there was lots of space in the pan to use and all cooked well and eveniy. I would totally recommend this pan for multi use frankly and has now become an essential in my kitchen. I will check out the rest of the Kitchenaid range.
Really liking my new pan.
Easy to cook Curry’s etc with food getting stuck on the sides.
I like how easy it is to clean (by hand or dishwasher).
I find the twin handles very good ( they do get a little warm).
I really like the glass lid,it’s good to be able to see what’s going on in the pan.( Wish it had a steam vent )
