Bought this to clean a house on purchase. Being able to use continuously was helpful and the larger water tank meant the steam lasted a long time. Definitely worth spending the extra money on this grade of cleane
This is a real game changer, especially if you have a large tiled area. I have tried so many mops etc and all have made me tired. This is amazing! So easy to use and clean. It is expensive but definitely worth the price if you are struggling with large areas of flooring. It just glides across the floor cleaning perfectly and when the cloth gets dirty just pull off and stick another one on. It comes with 2 cloths in the box but I bought some extras as I have a lot of floor to clean! It is a bit heavy but not too bad, probably as heavy as some hoovers. Love it!
100% get this Karcher and not the cheaper version’s because u will need the hot water settings to blast any stubborn bits that need removing so worth the money.
Very useful with covid about, git for dad with being elderly keeping in top of house work and cleanliness
Why have I never heard of this before? Its transformed the deep cleaning in our house. Once a week we do a deep clean and get our steamer out. It’s environmentally friendly because you don’t need chemicals, just steam. It cleans our bathroom shower glass and shower area, can clean windows, doors, skirting boards, cupboards etc. There is a steam control so you can turn the temperature down on more delicate areas. The best is the water reservoir which you can take out and put back into the machine without even switching the steamer off and your ready to go again. Brilliant design.
I took 1 star off because of these reasons:
1. small water capacity- when you have it on full steam strength, it uses the entire tank in a few minutes.
2. the hose gets very hot quite quickly, can burn yourself if it’s touching you while cleaning
3. there is no cable tidy system built in, just a indentation for you to shove the wires in and hope it stays (which it never does).
I would still recommend this item even with these problems because the functionality of it is brilliant. I have replaced so many tools and cleaning products with this one cleaner, and the heads are easy to find on amazon so I even have one dedicated to toilet cleaning and it’s brilliant!
I even use it to disinfect fruits & veg and it works amazingly.

Whats good ?
Cleans tile and laminate floors really well. Even got some shoe polish scuff stains up that Flash etc failed to do. Unfortunately the carpet glider wasn’t in the kit I bought ( the standard SC5) so can’t comment, but used the small brush on the skirting board and was very easy to get the accumulated dirt off. In the bathroom, the tiled floor and walls cleaned up well and much easier to use than the usual mop and bucket.
Not so good.
You need to brush up any dust etc before using it. It isn’t a hoover so won’t pick up these things and tends to leave them damp and in the corner of the room.
There is only one floor cleaning cloth. I’ve ordered two more but surprised more were not included.
Overall very pleased but time will tell if the build quality etc lasts.

The next question is whether it’s worth 350??? It’s a lot of money for a kettle on wheels, when you consider you get far more sophisticated items, like a dishwasher or clothes washer for the same sort of money! You have to make your mind up.
The other comment is on accessories. I bought this, then realised it comes with one micro fibre cover per brush (two sizes). No big brush, no carpet glider, no “power nozzle” (which would cost less than 5p to manufacture). So I’ve just spent another 40 to make it usable.
Value for money it’s pathetic. It’s worth 150 maybe 200 at a push. Ease of use etc. Fantastic.

Sturdy, well made, strong machine. Easy to use too. Also got the stains out of my living room carpet from a coffee spill. So glad I purchased this.

This machine is excellent Daphne a must buy clean very well on Chrome floor and generally anywhere was very impressed with the windows a few issues I had were worth the water bottle does need refilled quite ofte
