I bought the Kurgo as it’s designed to be suspended, the straps fit through the guard and fasten securely, it sits nicely between the gaps of the front seats. it’s rigid and sturdy my puppy loves it!! He feels safe and he’s secured whilst I’m driving.

Our little puppy, a Border Terrier, just loves this car seat. He’s now 14 weeks old and I don’t suppose it may fit him once he’s fully grown but as a puppy it’s perfect. Comfortable, he loves sleeping in it and he’s a really good traveller. There’s a safety harness hook/clip, very large, at the rear of the seat and it’s not too long, just long enough to clip your dog’s harness to the seat. It’s also high enough so our puppy can see out of the window. Perfect!

Overall it’s seems sturdy you can feel the metal supports so it’s not just material and I’m glad I spent the extra money on this as it should last a lifetime.
If you saw it online, without seeing it in person, it may seem a little expensive, but is totally totally worth the money.
As a tip for anyone else buying it, I have put in another little blanket to cover it, as my puppy is still at the biting everything in sight stage, and I don’t want him to ruin it.
Delivery was very fast , packed perfectly….. easy to assemble, and easy to clean….excellent. Can’t say enough positive things about it..( and Zeb loves it too)
This seat for our little Shih Tzu is brilliant. We put a cushion underneath which enables her to look out of the window…some thing she would never be able to do as she is so small even though she is 9 months old. After going out for a walk, she is quite happy in this carrier and we put her blanket in with her and she can rest her head on the edge and can see what we are doing. Fits nicely in front or back seat. would have been good if there was a little bumper bar to fir over the edge for her little chin but her blanket is ok if you double it up over the edge.
Great seat, my little dog has taken to it quite well, and I like the fact that she can sit next to me, instead of being in the boot of the car.
Love this booster seat! I bought a seat for my 13 week old French bulldog puppy but it was far too small for him! So I opted to buy this one which which a bit more money but I thought it was big enough to last him as a fully grown dog (hopefully!). Both myself and my pup love this! It’s very sturdy, comfortable for him, and I love the colour of it. There is enough room for him to curl up and sleep in it which he likes. It would get 5 stars but the only downfall is that it doesn’t have a security clip to hold onto a harness so instead, I have to clip my dogs lead onto his harness and then tie the lead to the headrest. Otherwise, lovely product!
I LOVE this as does my dog. He gets a perfect view and I know he is safe. He is more than happy to get in to it and seems to prefer it over the normal car seat. I thoroughly recommend and would buy again for another dog or if this breaks.

Quality made product that works. Feels very secure hanging on the back seat of our Volvo V40. Our 7yr old Yorkie took to it immediately. We need to use the rear seats to carry people quite often and I’m so glad this is easily removed to store in the boot.

My car has SRS front airbags so the strap around the front seat is a MAJOR issues plus my front bucket seats are curved so the seat didn’t sit 100% flat.
I wanted to move this to the back seat and get a second for our new puppy but of course we have a 60/40 seat well I have a good sewing machine and know what I’m doing so I took the shoulder strap of an old OLD luggage duffel we no longer use (it’s also 1.5″ wide) cut off one end of the shoulder strap sewed it (multiple passes in a box and X form) sealed the ends with heat and then fray stop and now it fits. I left the clip on the other end of the shoulder strap and the adjuster part so i could secure it a bit more … you can see the the last two photos I used the adjuster of the shoulder strap to go against the adjuster on the booster seat to insure it couldn’t get loose, and I clipped the clip onto the car seat thing to keep the strap from slipping.
The only other adjustment I will make is adding some gorilla tape to the leash connector so it’s not an open hole she can get caught in (because duct tape fixes everything)
I will be getting another one for the puppy! (and to make a waterproof liner for the puppy)
Now the question is do I still need that rear seat cover I ordered (my dogs drool bleached my leather as I found out when I went to clean my leather!)
Oh, yea.. I have a 17-18 lbs havanese who is almost 22″ nose to butt (havi’s have short legs which is why she sits so low).
My dog loves this he can see where he’s going & is safely stowed during the journey. Really useful pockets too.

Excellent product. Extremely well made and good quality. Fits my shih tzu / bichon cross just fine. Not a great deal of room for her to move around but that probably keeps her more safe.
Update, he is now 6 months and 6.5kg. He still gets sick but the sick goes everywhere. I have resorted to a crate on the front seat. BTW it fitted really easily in my Beetle.

The only thing I would say is that it is really only suited to smaller dogs. Our Shih Tzu is 20 weeks old and I think he might outgrow it in a couple of months.

Very sturdy, high enough for the dog to look out of the window ( I have a year old pug).
The clip does fit on the dogs harness but I have to say I don’t use the clip as my dog will very happily sit there, being King of the car and has never tried to Jump out. But it is there if you need to use it or have a more restless pup.

My 5.5kg yorkie/jack russel cross loves this. I use it along side a harness as I fear with a collar only it would create a ligature risk for the dog in any sort of collision. Good for local trips – he is in a crate which is strapped to the isofix points in the back for longer / motorway journeys

My dog was anxious in the car when he couldn’t see out the window (because he’s so tiny). This has helped in his in-car anxieties tremendously. Plus he looks super cool travelling in it 🙂
My yorkie can see out of the windows now. In the car is so much more fun for her now. One star missing due to a slight lack of padding around the inside but this is easily resolved with a fleece blanket. Overall the skybox does keep my dog safe, secure and happy. Easy to fit and can be removed just as easy when not needed. A shame no other colours are available.

Bought one of these two years ago for my little chihuahua and worked a treat. Just bought another for my toy poodle. You can get both dogs in one but for those comfort they have one each. Ideal for keeping puppy in one place as can attached their harness to the booster seat, fab for the older dog to see out of the van window. Also contains the mess from the beach keeping my seats cleaner.
Arrived on time and my yorkie loves it! Very pleased.
Really pleased with this much sturdier than I expected and easy to fit. My dog now sits up nice and high so can see out of the windows hence she’s not so whiney in the car although she’s still not convinced she likes going out in the car Lol. Could be improved by choice of colours or just black but line mine with nice blanket. Would recommend for small dog owner, medium dog would fit but would struggle to lie down.

These booster seats are amazing , my 2 dogs absolutely hated the car , but now they run to it when we are going out . I have small Yorkshire terriers (4kg each) they are just the right size . Glad I bought them one each , I think they would be very uncomfortable sharing one .

Unhappy with packaging however – box was coming apart and covered in something sticky – no outer packaging left it unprotected. Luckily the booster seat was not affected.
Wow, it’s like I have a different dog in the car, my stressed chihuahua x French bulldog hated journeys in the car, he was always stressed and moving about in his harness attached to the seat belt, he couldn’t see out or where he was going, first time of being in this seat he is calm, happy and totally chilled and now sits happily looking out of the windows, I wish I had got one sooner and I highly recommend giving one a go if you have a small dog who seems to hate being in the car.

Bought this seat for my 8 year old yorkie.. she really loves it. She loves to look out of the windows and can now do so without having to stand up.(always a bit of a nightmare for me when driving, having to keep her in the corner of my eye) I can now fully concentrate on the road. One small gripe. The restraining strap or tether is a little too short. when I have attached it to the seat belt and then the seat there is not much length to allow my dog to lie down comfortably. Apart from that it is a great seat.

Very good. If you use a walking harness for your dog you will not need anything else but if you use a collar and lead you will need a harness as it’s not recommended to be attached to the dogs neck for obvious reasons. My dog seems to feel more secure.
Bought this after reading the reviews, my Yorkshire Terrier was very nervous in the car but after a couple of weeks using this he is now settled. Booster seat is easy and quick to fit, good quality product. Folds flat when not in use and can be easily cleaned. Would recommend this product to others.

I feel much safer knowing that they are secure and comfortable and its very convenient being able to reach them if I need to.
My only note would be that the edges around the top could do with a bit more padding and that it would be great if there was room for more than one clip.
This is my second of these. I used to put both dogs in one box and they were fine but decided to finally get a second one. I love them and so do my babies. They can see out of the window and they keep the car clean. They can also sleep safely on longer journeys
I bought two for my shih tzu and shih tzu cross girls. They are the judge of this product and they are happy to sit in the car. The seats seem comfortable as my girls are happy and relaxed and safe.
My chihuahua absolutely loves his booster seat. I had to put an extra cushion in as he couldn’t see over the top without one but now he can see there is no stopping him. He loves watching the world go by and will also sleep in it on long journeys.
The seat is easy to fit and there is an attachment to secure his harness so he can’t jump out (not that he would want to) and I suppose it acts as a seatbelt so makes your pooch more safe. You can adjust the length so that your dog can’t get wrapped up in it if he/she is a wriggler. I often fit two chihuahuas in the seat if needed although they wouldn’t be able to lie down etc on a long journey.
My brothers chihuahua/jack Russell cross fits in it comfortably when I’m looking after him and it seems to calm him down a lot as he is usually really bad on car journeys. He likes to look out of the back at the cars behind. It has also managed to survive his chewing episodes so far which I’m pleased with!
The only complaint I have is that we have the seat in the back of the car and you can’t fit the seat in and two passengers due to its size. However to overcome this you’d have to make the seat smaller which would make it less comfortable for your pooch

Fast delivery. Appears well made and is easy to fit in car. It is secured well and my dog is clipped both to the loop on the box and the seat belt. She has not yet become used to the seat but has room to move, lie down and has views out of all windows. I love it, she doesn’t……yet.

Got this for a small Pomeranian who suffers from anxiety in the car and wants to sit on the drivers lap. Placed in this, he can see out, stay in one place. The liner is removable which is good if your dog gets carsick. Worth it!
They can’t jump out when I open the car door – another boon I am grateful for. But the best bit is now I have reclaimed the passenger seat for my handbag!!!!
