It’s good. Nearly invisible. Slides around a lot though so you probably tape it down or something.

It works nicely for a task chair on my wooden deck. It laid flat very easily. However, It is thin, so I don’t know if it would be okay for “quality” wood floors. Shipping was extremely fast.
The chair mat is doing it’s job so far. I mean my chair isnt scratching the tile, mat is staying in place, and it’s not expensive. These were the only items I needed. I can’t speak to durability yet.
Bought 4 of these to put under our lash station stools to protect the floor and they are so awesome and lay flat instantly. Will be buying two more to put in our permanent makeup room
Took it out of the shipping carton and it is instantly laying flat with no weights or any manipulation. The weather has been warm so I expect that might be the factor in how easily it will become flat. Nice thickness but not too bulky. Couldn’t be happier with this one.

Great for a hard floor, but not for carpet! It’s thinner than expected. I changed the usage now to put under the baby chair for easier clean up. Works great for that, but not for rolling an office chair on carpet.
Received my chair mat today and have had no issues of it laying flat as previous reviews have stated.
It was exactly the width I was looking for and it serves the expected purpose of protecting my wooden floor under the computer chair.
After initially un-rolling, it takes a few days to ‘settle down’ and flatten out. However, at the very edges, it still isn’t completely flat, several months later. The edge sits maybe 2mm off the floor. This isn’t a major problem for me since 98% is perfectly flat. Overall it looks great as it shows our wooden floor through really well. So much better in my view than the colored opaque versions you see. So I would recommend overall.
Quite a few people had a hard time getting the mat to stay flat but I had no issues. I did not follow the instructions but did what I usually do to flatten rolled up products. I took the mat out of the box, unrolled it flipped it over and rolled it back up so that you’re “countering” it’s original rolled state. Keep it that way for approx 30min or a little more and it payed flat within minutes. Love it so far.

Used for inside my front door to keep my carpet clean when we get home to take our shoes off. It’s perfect. Fits both myself and my husband to stand on while we take off wet or snow on our foot wear. Would highly recommend. So much better than a rug or cheap carpet runner. So much thicker and stronger. Easy to keep clean. Blends into carpet. Can barely tell it’s there.
I am very impressed with both of the mats I ordered from the company. They’re shipped very very well – instructions on how to first flatten them and then to care for them – wonderful.
They are by far, the best mats I’ve ever had, for under my desk chair, a rectangular one under the big bird cage, protecting my floors and keeping them clean.

Transparency allows the original flooring to show through. It’s difficult to even see where the mat starts and ends.
I was nervous because of some of the reviews, but my mat flattened out as soon as I unrolled it. I honestly wish it weren’t so shiny, but that’s probably going to be the case with any clear chair mat, and it’s otherwise perfect! Mine is half on wood, half on carpet, and it seems like it’s going to stay put.
The package came-in this last Friday Marh 18, 2022. I spread out the floor mat over the floor and put over it some weight for 24hrs. I placed it under the dinner table todays Sunday (I use as IT my office for teleworking during the week) and it looks GREAT without any WRINKLES. Buy it!

I put half of the clear mat under my area rug so my wheels don’t scratch the floorfrom what the area rug doesn’t cover. It’s very nice didn’t have much issue with having it lay flat.
I just purchased a second one of these mats. I use them to protect my wood floors and make clean up easier under my cats’ food dishes and outside their litter box. They work great for my purpose. They arrived rolled tightly, as one would expect, but quickly flattened out with a little bit of help. I wish I had bought these years ago!
These are saving my wooden floors and I wish I bought them sooner. Stop searching and buy them already.
This is a fantastic carpet protector as I have been working from my home I had noticed my computer chair was leaving marks on my carpet and this has solved the problem
You can see in the photo it is textured so you can see it, but tough to see in daylight.

This has protected my hardwood floor from damage. The casters on my office chair is made of hard plastic and was damaging the finish of my floor. This has stopped the damage.
To unroll it. I unrolled as flat as possible and left it outside in direct sun for a couple of hours. While it was still warm and pliable I brought it inside and layed it out on the floor and waited for it to cool. Good to go!

Product is flexible and seems to work sell in a small area. Will have to wait to see if it durable.
I didn’t have any problems with laying it flat like some people mentioned. However, it does want to scoot a bit on the floor. I keep having to reposition but other than that it has worked well.
The product was very inferior. I had expected a rigid mat that a chair would glide across. I got a thin fjoppy thing that the chair could not move against. I cannot use it. Your star system will not work I will not use this vendor in future.
My rolling chair caused damage to my LVT floor under my rolling chair, I needed protection and this was just right, my chair rolls easy on it.
It’s good for hard floor but does not work on carpets
I use this to protect the carpet at the back door when I let my dog in to clean his feet! It is perfect for that, easy to move and light, but sturdy! If you need the same thing, get it! No idea if it is good under a chair… Lol

I live in Florida and the box sat outside for at least an hour in the sun on an 88 degree day. I opened it and it unrolled completely flat. It is a nice thickness so I believe it will be durable however I’ve already got scuff marks on it from my ikea rolling desk chair. It works well for its intended use. Doesnt say which side to have up or down in the included instructions but I like the textured side on my bare feet.
great mat for my chair in my bedroom, i had no issues flattening it out. it’s made from a really sturdy material and it doesn’t slide around
Make sure you measure before buying. Very thin but it will work for now. I can’t imagine it lasting long.

It flattened out easily. I’m using it on laminated flooring and it does move around a lot, so I have to straighten it up frequently.
Pretty thin, slides on the floor easily, also I was hoping it would be thicker so that it was protect my soft linoleum floor in my apartment from my chair, but my chair wheels still leave indentations in this mat. Some recited said they had a hard time getting it to lay flat but I followed the directions and put a few books on it and it lays very flat now.
I was looking for a hard chair mat and thought this was one until it came. It’s ok and work and does the job. It does slide around a bit, but I will keep using it.
Mat works fine, protecting the Pergo flooring underneath.
A lot of the complaints seem to be about getting the mat to lay flat. Follow the instructions! I let the mat warm up before unrolling it, then used a personal heater (blow dryer will works as good) to heat up the ends & placed some stuff on it to flatten the mat. Used it the next day, it lays flat, no problem.
Better than other matts i have used, i did purchase the wrong size but decided to keep it in the end to prevent the return hassle. Will be purchasing the bigger size at some point and did indeed flattern out almost instantly, alot better than other products on amazo
Just adding a review so if you do purchase, you order the the correct size – I bought the 48×30 and whilst my roller chair does fit, it’s probably not wide enough as I spend the day trying to not roll off – a bit like parking in a narrow space. I unpackaged and lay it flat overnight with some weights and was flat ever since. Does what it says on the tin.
I put it near a heater to warm it up and it unfolded easily and perfectly. It is as clear as glass.
I was a bit concerned that the mat would take ages to lie flat based on some reviews. However, I received it in the afternoon, laid it out (on my own) near a radiator and weighted all four corners. By the next morning it was totally flat and I was able to use it. Perfect on my laminate floor which was starting to show marks from my office chair. Size is ideal. Would recommend.

I originally ordered and received the 48″ x 30″ mat but found that it was too small, so ended up buying another at 48″ x 36″, which is perfect for my needs. The mat has a smooth surface on one side for contact with my wooden floors and a slightly more textured surface for my office chair to sit on.
I was under the impression that because my office chair has synthetic rollers that the floor would not be damaged when the chair was moved. Over time this proved to not be the case, and the newly refinished oak floor began to dull where the chair was sitting to my desk, wearing out the finish on the floor. This mat provides great protection for the wooden floor and is so transparent that it is barely noticeable.
When considering which size to buy I would suggest getting one a bit larger than 30″ on one side to enable you to push back from your desk without running off the mat.
Good protector for the floor and better value than high street retailers. A must if you want to provide protection for your floor from the office chair.

When it arrived, mat was rolled up and plastic was rock hard. After letting it sit in room temperature, it soften and was ready to roll! Unlike the one for carpet, it never soften and had to return it.
Exactly what I needed to protect my floor. I don’t normally roll around a lot but my kid was sitting in the chair and doing so haha. This is nice! Not an eyesore, can hardly see it, which is good since it’s a home office area in my bedroom.
I love this. I just wish it was wider. I’m on the hunt for one. It stays put and doesn’t move but I’m limited to how I can move my chair in one direction because it is no wide enough and I bought the biggest one available. It reminds me of kitchen rug in shape. I can move my chair straight forward or back with very little variance to the sides
Many people have been to the issues about it not laying out flat. My husband and I and rolled it out together and then laid it out in our back yard on the cement with 5 pound weights in each corner to lay flat. Left it out in the sun for a couple of hours and it is perfectly flat with no creases whatsoever. The warmth of the sun seems to have done the job. It’s sturdy, smooth and no issues so far.
This mat makes adapting any home area into a workspace without having to worry about marking carpets or hard floors.
Perfect desk for working at home. The raised section easily sits two monitors to give lots of space left on the desk, which is just what I was looking for.
Probably one of the easiest furniture items I have built, seller has made it very easy to assemble, using numbered items (including screws).

Overall, pretty good. It lays flat in a day or two after I put heavy things on all the edges. It doesn’t get caught on the wheels on my chair except for the rare chance my wheels get off the mat and try it get back on. It has happened once in the week I’ve had this mat, so to me it’s fine. It isn’t flat flat against the floor on the edges of the mat, but it is a thin mat so to be expected. It isn’t high enough off the ground to cause any problems though. Occasionally, it will bump up a little, but with a little shifting it goes away. It only happens rarely. Still a good mat for the price.
It doesn’t have spikes, so it does wrinkle a little. Other than that, it’s great.
Works well as intended. A lot of negative reviews on not being able to get bumps out from being rolled up in shipping. I know plastic, use a heat gun to heat up to soften, do not melt, and then put under a piece of plyboard with weight on it for 12+ hours and repeat if necessary. No issues with bumps or curling up. Also heating up and let it dry with stiffening up the mat to eliminate the problem of chair sinking into matt causing indentations. A hairdryer will not heat up enough and be careful with the heat gun as not to melt/burn/make to brittle/brown the matt. After proper treating, works well with none of the issues in complaints.
However, while the mat does do what it is supposed to, there are two minor annoyances:
1. Due to the thickness, it is not always a smooth transition to or fro over the lip of the mat;
2. The mat, even with the textured side, does not always stay 100% in place when sitting at desk or exiting chair.
I converted my coffee table into a desk by way of bricks lifting it up, in case you are wondering what is going on in the photo with those red bricks. 🙂
I am surprised by the reviews that could not get the mat to lay flat. We were able to lay it flat with very little effort. I have not had the mat long enough to know how long it will last. I give positive Mark’s to the seller on getting the product, as described, on time.
Kuyal Clear Chair Mat, Hard Floor Use arrived on time, I was able to unroll easily (overnight with weights on the corners). Stays on floor well, and allows chair to roll relatively easy. I am using it only for few days, so have to wait to see if it cleans well and how it is durable. But it is thick and well made.
Hi, Does the job. Doesn’t smell. I put it on my radiator to loosen it up and all of the curl came out. Unfortunately I left it on the radiator overnight and now I have small dimples in it where the points / corners of the radiator were heating up the plastic. It still works fine. Once it heats up, either by sun or radiator, the curl comes out, even at the corners. The size is great for one chair. Put the smooth side up. Keep Safe! Dave
I was most impressed with the packaging…2 cylinder boxes for protection. It came a day early. The quality seems to be good… the mat is thick enough for my satisfaction. It rolled out nicely and quick to settle to the floor. Although I’ve only had it for a few days I’m very happy with it!

I was hesitant to order the product due to the reviews on how difficult the product is to roll out flat. I figured I have a hot gun and could put it to work if needed. However, I received the product 2 days ago but left it outside to be safe (COVID-19) for the last 2 days. Took the product out today, laid it out and it was immediately usable with just bit of a wave on the very inside of where it was rolled up. Its been about 2-3 hours now and it is completely flat and love the product.
The mat is decently thick, sturdy and inexpensive compared to the mats. It unrolled easily and had no plastic odor. The surface is a little rough, so my chair doesn’t roll quite as readily as on a smooth floor, but it’s minor, and the chair rolls totally fine. The only possible negatives are that the mat is a little small in the narrow dimension, if you have a 5 leg rolling chair – perhaps consider going up to the next size greater than 30″. Additionally, the slightly rough surface might make it a little less easy to clean than a completely smooth surface, but since it’s heavy plastic, a little extra oomph with a broom/vacuum or scrubber won’t do any harm.
My biggest concern so far is durability. It’s of the soft vinyl kind, instead of a hard plastic. I sit on it using a drum throne — tripod legs. The ends of these legs rub and put pressure on the mat. It’s already scratched up, rubbed up, and marred. I don’t expect the areas of wear to “bounce back.” The mat is ruined indefinitely in those areas. Just keep that in mind when you go to purchase. Am I upset about it? Perhaps. But I suspected as much when I saw a review that the material was soft, rather than the harder vinyl.
Lower your expectations and it’ll suit your needs just fine.
I reviewed a bunch of similar products before making this purchase. I am thankful that previous customers have submitted their reviews on this product because their reviews prompted my purchase. This floor mat is was so easy to unroll right out of the package. We had rain for a few days so it never got exposure to sunlight. I unrolled it, put it under my chair and added 5lb. weights to the edges for 2 days. It has been nearly 2 weeks since my purchase and it does not attempt to curl up around the edges, it lays nice and flat. My chair rolls effortlessly over the mat and I can still see the beauty of my hardwood floors. This is definitely worth the purchase, I am extremely happy I chose this product.
I took it out of the box and left in on my porch in the sun for a few minutes and it straightened it out in no time. Worth the money
I cant give it a full 5 stars because I am returning it. I read it wrong and I need a carpet mat and this is a wood mat. I however did like how well packed it came in and how quickly it came in. It felt durable and was a great size.
