Superior, artisan quality
Expertly handcrafted in France, each Le Creuset enamelled cast iron product passes through 40 pairs of hands and over 30 quality checks from start to finish. Our secret recipe of ingredients is melted in a cauldron, a ‘Creuset’ in French, and poured into individual sand moulds, which are later broken and re-moulded to minimise waste. Two coats of enamel are then baked on to give it a durable, long lasting finish for outstanding performance, time after time.

Our enamelled cast iron is dishwasher safe but deserves the love and care of a good handwash. Super easy to clean, food and oil wipes off with ease after a warm water soak. Make sure to use nylon or soft abrasive pads, as metallic pads and abrasive cleaning agents can damage the enamel.

mit einem stolzen Preis. Sehr schn verarbeitet in backofengerechter Gre aus emailiertem Gueisen.
Picked up this piece as a gift, was super disappointed to find out it was gray (oyster) instead of orange (flame) as I had ordered. It’s too late to send it back now and the recipient is luckily OK with the color. But come on..
It does what you expect of a Le Creuset dish, a bit on the heavy side getting in and out of the oven but expect this for size of dish, very well made, great colour choice and good price.

I bought this cast iron enameled broiler pan – and have used it every few days. It’s perfect for broiling fish, scallops, meat and veggies. Cleans up like a dream and you can leave it to your daughter or son. It’ll last a lifetime if you treat it right.
Fantastic – and worth the money.
Ich benutze diese Reine hauptschlich fr Auflufe, oder um Fleisch erst sehr kross anzubraten und dann (offen) im Ofen gar zu ziehen. Bspw. Hhnchen.
Die Auflufe gelingen viel besser, wie immer bei Gusseisen ist der Garvorgang – zu mindest fr mich – irgendwie kontrollierter und gleichmIgel.
Qualitt ist hierbei typisch LeCreuset. Sehr einfach zu reinigen, wird schn hei, und wenn man die Grundregeln bercksichtigt klebt auch nix an (Gargut sollte nicht aus dem Khlschrank kommen sondern schon etwas Raumtemperatur angenommen haben, Gussbesteck sollte gut vorgeheizt sein, nicht zu frh wenden)
Le Creuset is expensive. Is it over priced? Maybe, but it has a finish that cleans up better than of my other ceramic coated cast iron. The hours I don’t spend soaking and scrubbing is worth something, as is the lifetime I expect to get out of this roaster.
I chose to make the leap into some Le Creuset products, and targeted 3 pots/pans: A large dutch oven (9 Quart – which I purchased directly from their outlet store), a large Braiser (5 quart – which I purchased here) and a roaster (this one)… okay I then bought the 7 quart roaster from a clearance rack at a store because I couldn’t pass up the price, but 3 was my intention.
I have not noticed any hot spot issues in any of the above products. They all seem to heat evenly. Wonderful quality for stove top to oven and back again. Did I mention clean up. After each long slow roast, I look at the caked on fond and think “I don’t want to clean it – this time it won’t be easy, but it always is. A little hot water and soap in the pan for a few minutes while I do other dishes and it basically wipes out clean. I have a lodge dutch oven, which I also love, but it doesn’t clean up as easily and the discoloring of the ceramic definitely looks like its been used often.
I guess my rational (which could be faulty but its how I sleep) – isn’t a cooking implement that lasts a lifetime worth the cost of 4 meals (at the cost of roasts today) you make in it?
Super Auflaufform, sehr leicht zu reinigen u hlt sehr lange die Speisen warm. Auch das Erwrmen geht meiner Meinung schneller darin
Absolut zufrieden. Vom Gewicht her knnte es dem einen oder anderen etwas schwer sein, denn die Form ist uerst massiv, strt mich aber nich
Es ist eine Freude damit zu kochen. Super Qualitt, wie immer bei Le Creuset.
Super Bratreine. Fleisch wird richtig lecker. Man kann auch gut anbraten. Es gibt keine besseren Kochutensilien wie die von Le Creuset. Auch wenn der Preis hoch ist, ist es dennoch eine Anschaffung die ich nicht bereue. Schlielich hlt es auch ewig. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
