Have had a couple of these
Battery’s last for a long time
Brightness very good
Often to bright
Fits well
Good service life
Bought as a Christmas gift for my son-in-law who wanted it for being able to see footpaths whilst running in the dark. He sent me this picture to show how bright it was. He said it was very light and hardly noticed wearing it.
General everyday and night use to help with poor eyesight. Very bright, brightness can be changed, battery life great.
After using this head lamp for 4 years, I think it is excellent in all ways.
As many other reviews have said the focus adjustment is very tight to adjust even after using it for a couple of months now. It requires 2 hands to do so which to me slightly defeats the purpose of a head torch. Fortunately the unit does make up for this shortfall with how well it performs in other areas. The light output is great, once you get used to the different modes which aren’t very clear in the instructions. The battery life is great, i use it for roughly 2hrs per shift at work and i only charge it once a week, it’s never ran out while i’ve been using it. The elastic strap is of good quality as is the torch case itself. Slightly expensive but any decent rechargeable torch is these days. Hoping to get a good 2-3 years out of this torch and if i do i’ll be more than happy.
Pros ..
Good battery life
Bright
Light to wear / comfortable
Feels quality made
Used for dog walking …
Cons
Expensive (but you get what you pay for)
For me, I would rather have a dual 18650/21700 and run at 1000 lumens.
Not usb-c charging / slow to charge
Clearly this is a great torch, but has overwhelmingly very complicated settings.
I bought it for fishing but it does not have flood mode, therefore found it difficult for every stage of fishing.
Super bright and the fact that it fits various types of batteries is a big advantage, but so many moving parts and complicated settings make it difficult to use while fishing.
Used these at work but wanted my own! Good price for an excellent product! Only issue that irritates me is the tensioner on the strap is crap
Brightness is very good and easy to operate with gloved hands, battery life appears to be very good, I’m still on my first charge, battery is a little long/bulky horizontally when wearing under a hood.
Battery easily last for a day, very comfy so all day on head. Easy to charge, well build, long warranty. Great choice.
Not my first LED LENSER head torch but so far the best. Simple, small & light with one rechargeable battery that lasts. Used on & off all my whole working day. I think it’s worth the money. I also bought a 20amp USB charging adapter to reduce downtime. Recommend
I work in Railway industry. Great for all of shift on nights. Keeps brightness , reliable and waterproof. Highly recommend LedLensor lights for out doors night work
It’s lightweight and comfortable to wear, powerful beam and the battery life is good. My only gripe is that when you turn it on the bright light soon fades to a lesser light?

I’ve had mine for a couple of years now and have used it several times a week in my job as an electrician. I simply can’t fault it. I charge it when I remember and only use the full brightness when peering into the distant recesses of attics etc, so it’s on lower brightness most of the time.
I’ve dropped it, bumped it, thrown it into a tool bag and nothing has cracked or fallen off!
I stretch it over a hard hat sometimes and then wear it on my head on others. No problems at all.
I’m genuinely surprised that some people have had issues and/or been unhappy as my experiences with LEDLenser stuff has left me recommending them.
Don’t expect the power of a police helicopter searchlight from ANY torch. Lumen ratings, like calories in food, are often exaggerated. I’ve seen torches claiming umpteen thousand lumens, but when you actually use it, it doesn’t appear brighter…..Hmmmm
Not cheap – but I also tried a cheap unbranded one which had serious issues and a poor battery life.
Based on my experiences, I think these are still the best and mine is still working for daily use.
