This was a perfect gift for my adult sister who is a massive Harry Potter fan. She loved it and made a point of hiding the box from the nephew & niece so she could make it on her own with the kids!
I had great fun making this. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and it was great to see it steadily coming together.
I love the way the wings on the finished model flap as you turn the handle at the base. It’s not a pure up and down, it’s an articulated movement that is really pleasing.
It’s been years since I built anything with lego, however, when this came up at lest than half price I bought it. It was fairly easy to put together and took me about 4 hrs in total. It’s great quality and the picture instructions are relatively easy to follow. I am very happy with it.
Was a Gift to my little girl to exercise her abilities and try to make a small version of Hedwig before buying the full version.
Really happy with the outcome !!!!
One of the best buys made this Christmas. Once constructed, it looks stunning as the wings spread out as if in flight. Very much loved by my Harry Potter family members.
So easy to build and very fun to see the wings move !!! Great for kids and also adults who love Harry Potter. Great price of decor once made ! Would highly recommend.
Bought as a gift for my daughter. Really enjoyed the technical (technics) build. Very impressed by the wing action. Wasn’t expecting it to be so fluid. Great build and looks good on display once complete.
Got this as a Christmas present for my Harry potter obsessed 9 year old, and have to say its our favourite lego build to date. The build was for aged 10+ and was a little tricky in places due to the moving parts and mechanics, but as expected. It looks amazing, and the working parts are just brilliant to bring hedwig to life. Would definitely recommend for any lego and/or Harry potter fans.
This was for my grandsons birthday and he was absolutely delighted, however as he was building it they discovered several pieces missing, so my daughter emailed the company who sent the pieces straight away. Hence 5 its a nice change.
Always loved Hedwig when I was reading the books growing up, and always felt Hedwig got the wrong end of stick when they (spoilers, but not really its been out for years, c’mon) died. This lovely display of Hedwig is a great addition to the collection along with the tiny Harry to go with it. Fun build too! Perfect for and Harry Potter fan! Good Christmas present too.
Got for my dad and he loved it, so i suggest any Lego harry potter get this as it small, doesn’t take ages to complete and it cute :)) (and it moves :D)
This is a fabulous Lego figure and a pretty sure hit whether or not you are a fan of Harry Potter. I enjoy building Lego items as art therapy, with the added bonus that you are pretty likely to end up with a unique item at the end of the build. I always go wrong somewhere and, if it doesn’t stop the build being completed or I don’t notice in time, I leave it alone. This one is no different and I went wrong along the way, but it looks fine as finished.
A challenging build and one that is structured with bags of bits to open along the way and a good instruction leaflet, which should help you get from start to finish with minimal hiccups along the way. But if you do go wrong, remember it means your piece is unique.
Into Harry Potter?
Into Lego?
Like satisfying movement?
Then this is definitely for you.
Like any other lego, will not disappoint. I have enjoyed put it all together.
My daughter is a massive Harry Potter fan so she loved this. She is 10 and found the instructions relatively easy to follow and was pleased with the end product. The moveable wings and head give it that extra touch.
I loved building this with my son. Easy to follow instructions, all pieces were there, looks great when finished
Lovely themed build. Relatively simple, but younger children will struggle, especially in the latter stages with the head construction. The wing movement is clever, where a simple flapping motion would have sufficed, Lego have gone one step further than necessary to make a very realistic looking movement possible. Highly recommended, even if you’re not a Harry Potter fan.
It was exactly like it said. It was a Christmas present and the person has made it and loved it. Thank you.
Great item, Great instructions and easy to follow. Whoever designed this model did a great job. The lego comes in numbered bags, there are some very small parts but Enjoyed assembling this lego model and would recommend to anyone.
Bought as a Christmas present for granddaughter.
She loves it.
Great model looks amazing when finished. Gave as a gift and was well received – good amount of challenge to complete.
Bought for my grandson he loves Lego and Harry Potter. He loved making this
i personally loved this but as it was for lil un i didnt get to put it together my ex had to and she cant even work the tv remote half the time lmao , she said it took forever and loads of little bits but if the lil un wants it who am i to say no , just need some more now hahahhahhha
Bought as a birthday present. My grandson is 8 and needs some help to assemble this figure, it’s hours of pleasure!
Great detailed Lego for Harry Potter fans. Was built in a couple of hours but my son did enjoy the extra challenge with the technical build of the wings which slowed him down a little!
A great step up from Lego Friends. Very much enjoyed building and having something to keep.
Very happy, the wings moves not as a whole, but waves.
Bought as a Xmas gift neice was over the moon with it don’t know what it’s like to assemble she hasn’t done it ye
Xmas gift – granddaughter loved it and built it on her ow
my granddaughter loves this and it was value for money, considering the price of lego these days.
Bought as a Christmas gift for my Great-Niece. She likes all things Harry Potter and lego, I’m sure she will like this.
Typical lego build, brilliant instructions well made and the way the wings work is brillia
My little one’s Christmas gift! Can’t wait to see his face!
Haven’t opened yet as it is a Christmas present, looks great, but was annoyed that the box said Lego on it, my daughter saw the box outside our house and straight away knew it was Lego, and even said ‘I bet it’s Harry Potter Lego’ it was meant to be a Christmas present from Father Christmas as she asked him for it but will now have to be an extra present from me and her dad, Amazon please think about what is on the box as now the surprise is ruined. Apart from this I’m sure it will be amazing and she will love that she has received i
Bought this for my sister in law who was suffering from anxiety, this really helped her concentrate on something and found it quite fun. The end result looks rather cool on the shelf.
This is a Christmas present for my son but I’m sure he will love it. Quick delivery and box wasn’t damaged.
This was quiet a difficult build and my 10 years old had to be helped in building it. We even found it difficult, but I think she learned a lot whilst making it! It’s a very beautiful lego set, but you can’t really play with it.
Brought for my mum she loved it and it is now flipping about on her book shelf. Great price arrived quickly
Brought as a gift for a child who is a Harry Potter fan and they loved i
This is a difficult build but worth being patient and doing it as it looks so good
A real statement piece
Built with my 8yrold daughter, as she starts to get into Harry Potter. Bit of a challenge by herself, but with a little guidance she completed it and enjoyed it.
The mechanism to move the wings is excellent – a very realistic movement.
A great model of Hedwig.
Took grandson aged 11 couple of days to do all by himself. Nice looking set with moving wings
My granddaughter was thrilled to bits with it
( she loves Harry potter another addition to her collection )
Arrived next day for my Grandson who had just finished making the Phoenix. Great value for money and will be another great Lego item to add to his collection. Lots of play value.
