This was a Xmas present, and so glad I got it, yes you have to buy a extra sodastream brand gas cylinder as livovo brand not refillable in the uk but having read some Sodastream brand reviews for their carbonators this seems much better quality and value.
Bought this for my elderly parents for Christmas, they love it and very easy to use.

I had it for about 2 weeks, then it broke. I don’t know if it was faulty or if it was me. I got a full refund which is good, and for the time I had it, it was a nice product.
This does the job. A less expensive option than the Soda Stream but it us very good quality.
I found it a bit tricky to fit the bottle in to start with but soon got the knack. You can put as much fizz as you like but don’t forget to release the gas or you wont get the bottle out. Also if you use syrup add it a drop at a time else it froths ove
Bought for my daughter as a gift. She loves it and it saves her a fortune as she used to buy fizzy water. She has also stopped buying fizzy juice too.
Easy to use and I can save money on wate
Most the time this is brilliant but I’ve found the seals in the bottles are a bit hit and miss which means they can leak. Fine if they’re just going in the fridge but I take a bottle to Uni in my bag = soggy notes.
Takes a while to get the knack of loading and unloading the bottles. How to screw them in.
Fizzy water was all i neededit for. Not sure how much gas was wasted. Tralised that. If i cannit het the carbon tank refilled i am causing just as much recycle waste . Please advise on the best way to re use recele emoty tanks as they are expensive to replace.
Having bought a brand new SodaStream, I found that it would not fully fizz the water due to gas leaking from the new clamp mechanism. The Levivo machine is cheaper and has a far better locking mechanism so makes ferociously fizzy water if you want it that way. Despite chucking the brand new SodaStream away, I was at least able to use the gas cylinder as it is compatible with the Levivo carbonator. However, one word of warning: You must read the instructions! The set-up and use (including having to press a safety button to release the pressure on the bottle before removing it) is straightforward, but not immediately obvious.
excellent product – simple to use – comes with 2 bottles.
Easy enough to use, but cylinder does not produce anywhere near the boasted 60 ltrs of carbonated water, more like 30. That’s significant when weighing up cost of moving away from shop bought plastic bottles.
First item was faulty but replaced within two days. Easy to set up and use. I find that I need to apply more gas than the instructions say, usually three goes rather than the one or two the manual mentions. Seems good so far, but only 4 stars because of the extra squirts of gas needed.
I use this for the carbonated water as it helps to eliminate the cramps in my legs and toes, easy to use you can choose the quantity of fizz you like, unfortunately will only stay fizzy for a day.
I am pleased with this unit and it produced good, sparkling water as required. However, I have knocked one star off for ease of use. The bottle is easy to fillo with water and attach to the unit. When you come to injext the gas there is no auto cut off. You depress the unit and gas is injected. Press it too hard and water goes evertwhere. You have to keep gently pressing the unit until you feel you have injercted enough gas. De-gassing is just as tricky. De-gass too fast and water goes everywhere. Some form of automation would be really good. Other than that I am pleased with it.
Bought as a birthday present for hubby, he loves it, we all love it.
Great to use bottle a bit hard to fit at firs
No complaints except the seals on the water bottles are not very reliable. If I don’t check bottles by turning upside down immediately after charging there’s a fair chance the CO2 will bleed out or, if laid on their side, will leak.
This product seems fine so far. We have used it twice. Water does seem to overflow, but hopefully this will calm down once the cylinder is a bit emptier.

This is great but one of the two bottles with this is broken. It leaks so I can’t use it. It doesn’t hold the fizz. I would like to return a plastic bottle for a replacement please. Can you advise. Thank you

Love this product. Easy to use. Works every time. However do try to buy the version without the gas canisters. While possible it is difficult to exchange the canisters in the UK. Soda stream canisters work fine and can be bought/exchanged at Robert Dyas. Read the instructions carefully regarding decompression before releasing the water bottle.

its easy once you get the hang of it. I bought 2 half litre (soda stream) bottles as the one supplied is just tooo big. Sadly they are not compatible. A bit disappointed to waste money on extra plastic bottles

Just gone through it’s first gas canister and got this at Xmas (Now End of Jan)… We we easily going through 4/5 plastic 2lt bottles of soda a week…
Definitely worth buying, just make sure you have a couple of canisters spare so you never run out… I believe The Range and Argos provide refills.

Easy to use, canister appears to go empty very quick, overhaul it’s okay for the price, mostly plastic, so need to be careful when tightening up the canister.

It is an extremely simple mechanism and quite expensive for what it is but I’m trying to go virgin plastic free and this was a good alternative to soda stream. Really cool though loving it in the first week of use.
It is very easy to use. The spare bottle is great. Good value for money and I no longer buy bottled sparkling water. Win for the environment!
I purchased this water carbonater after returning a previously purchased brand leader which proved useless for its intended use. This water carbonater has worked well from day one. It is good to look at, solidly made and very easy to use. I would not go back to the market leader after my excellent experience with the Levivo water carbonater. AND it was half the price!!!
Great machine better value than sodastraam for doing the same job
Love this carbonator! SO glad I bought it. I don’t drink tea or coffee, so drink a LOT of fizzy water and have always been uneasy about the amount of plastic I throw away. The water where I live is heavily chlorinated but, used in conjunction with my new water filter, I really don’t think I can tell the difference between the fizzy water made with my Levivo, and sparking mineral waters. You can make it as fizzy as you want; some people like it fizzier than others. I like mine very fizzy. It’s worth noting that the bottles are 1 litre and after a while, towards the end of the bottle, the fizz dies down. Best to drink it as soon as possible after fizzing – or CAREFULLY decant it into 2 x 500ml bottles (so as not to lose the bubbles) and screw the tops on tightly. It remains to be seen, with such heavy use, how long a cylinder of CO2 lasts me.
Given as a Christmas present, which was greatly appreciated. Easy to use and makes excellent fizzy water. Still unsure of where to get the replacement co2 cannisters so therefore 4 stars
The white fitted in better in my utility, but there is a black version. Came with a standard bottle of CO2 and two strong plastic bottles for fizzing. We found that making one or two bottles of water per day the CO2 lasted for a couple of months before needing to be exchanged at the supermarket – or by post from Sodastream. One we keep for water the other gets topped up with Vimto cordial. The unit is well made nd easy to use. Twist the bottle of water in and press the fizz button a couple of times. Then press the pressure release button, or you will find it difficult removing the bottle and then get fizzy water everywhere.
As I did not want to buy soda stream, this is a perfect alternative

Easy to use and effective. Been using for a few months now and we have no complaints at all.
1. it is around half the price of a similar soda stream type product, including 2 bottles and 60l canister
2. zero electricity needed. as such, common electrical faults that would otherwise render this entirely useless are not a worry. neither is the standby power used when plugged in. this is my favourite aspect of this product
3. sturdy moving parts, time will tell but i highly doubt this product will fail
4. easy to install the canister, you can probably say this of all these types of products to be fair, but it’s certainly the case with this one too

Really like this – have been using it for around 4 weeks now and still on the same gas cylinder, producing around a bottle a day.
We’ve had this for a few weeks now and have massively reduced our plastic consumption. Easy to use and we’re finding that a gas bottle lasts us about 10 days – we get through lots of fizzy water. Solidly built – in the EU
However, be careful if ordering extra bottles that they are suitable as Levivo also make bottles for Soda Stream which do not have the bayonet fitting.
Preis/Leistung:
Fr knapp 70 habe ich den Wassersprudler bestellt. Er kam mit einer CO2 Flasche und zwei PET Flaschen geliefert und steht somit der Konkurrenz in Sachen Lieferumfang in nichts nach. Mit 70 ist der Levivo Wassersprudler gnstiger als vergleichbare Sodastream Modelle auf Amazon, ein wirkliches Schnppchen ist er aber auch nicht. Vor wenigen Tagen habe ich in einer bekannten Supermarktkette einen original Sodastream mit zwei Flaschen fr nur 40 gesehen und mich gergert, dass ich mir zu diesem Zeitpunkt schon einen Wassersprudler bestellt hatte. Dennoch muss ich sagen, dass 70 fr das was man bekommt ein fairer Preis ist (vorausgesetzt das Produkt hlt auch einige Jahre).
(An dieser Stelle mchte ich darauf hinweisen, dass man mit einem Wassersprudler kein Geld spart, nur weil man sich keinen Sprudel mehr kauft. Ein Liter Sprudel kostet je nach dem welchen Sprudel man kauft etwa 13ct. Der Preis fr den Tausch der CO2 Flasche betrgt meistens 8-9. Eine Flasche CO2 soll dabei laut Angaben des Hndlers fr 60 Liter Sprudel reichen, ich persnlich komme aber eher auf 50l. Das macht ca. 18ct pro Liter Sprudel. Was man spart ist also lediglich das Schleppen schwerer Wasserkisten, aber man spart kein Geld [zumindest nicht im Vergleich mit billigem Wasser]).
Design:
Ein groer Pluspunkt des Levivo Wassersprudlers ist das schlichte, aber ansprechende Design. Das soll nicht heien, dass sich die Gste an dem Gert nicht sattsehen knnen, aber zumindest sieht es, egal ob in der Kche oder im Esszimmer, nicht strend aus.
Handling:
Das Gert ist relativ leicht und da es zur Benutzung nur eine volle Flasche Wasser und eine CO2 Flasche (welche im Gehuse verschwindet) bentigt (Achtung das Gert bentigt keinen Strom oder hnliches und hat auch keine strenden Kabel. Das gilt aber fr Wassersprudler im Allgemeinen) lsst es sich berall bequem hinstellen. Zur Bedienung wird einfach die Halterung mit samt Flasche runtergedrckt und schon entweicht das CO2 aus der Gasflasche und geht in das Wasser ber. Zu beachten ist hierbei, dass die Flasche wirklich relativ genau bis zum Rand gefllt sein muss, da sonst zu schnell der Druck in der Flasche steigt und das Gas nicht mehr gut entweicht (wenn sie zu voll ist), beziehungsweise der Gashahn’ nicht Bis ins Wasser reicht (wenn sie zu leer ist).
Die PET Flaschen lassen sich einfach einschrauben und halten gut. Auch die CO2 Flasche wird einfach eingeschraubt und verschwindet dann hinten im Gehuse. Durch leichten Druck auf den hinteren Teil des Gehuses (dort wo die CO2 Flasche eingeschraubt ist) wird der berdruck, welcher sich in der Wasserflasche durch das CO2 aufbaut abgelassen. Entlsst man diesen berdruck nicht zuerst, so kann die Flasche nicht abgeschraubt werden, da sie sich quasi festsaugt. Unterm Strich ein einfaches und durchdachtes Handling.
Flaschen:
Grtes Manko des Gertes sind die Flaschen. Leider gibt es nur PET Flaschen, welche zwar BPA frei sind, aber dafr nach einigen Monaten ablaufen. Glasflaschen gibt es leider nicht (auch nicht separat zu kaufen). Hier hat Sodastream die Nase vorn.
Fazit: Es muss nicht unbedingt ein Sodastream sein. Auch der Wassersprudler von Levivo leistet auerordentlich gute Dienste. Schade, dass fr dieses Gert keine Glasflaschen erhltlich sind. Fr mich ein Grund doch lieber zu warten, bis ein Sodastream zu einem vergleichbar niedrigen Preis im Angebot ist.
P.S.: Die Wasserflaschen von Levivo sind nicht mit Sodasteam kompatibel und umgekehrt. Die CO2 Flaschen sind jedoch die selben. berall wo man CO2 Flaschen fr einen Sodastream umtauschen kann, kann man also auch die Flaschen des Levivo Wassersprudlers tauschen.
