It's a table that folds
This is a great option if you need a BBQ table. It’s very heavy, solid build and lots of space.
My only gripe is the adjustable legs. Those pins are tough and you need to do one at a time or have 2 people. But luckily I have friends and I realise that this is still worth 5 stars.
Sturdy table
This is a brilliant table. We use it for crafting with our grandaughter, also picnics as it folds away and you can adjust the height. It is sturdy and wipes clean easily

One of my best purchases ever. Love this table. It’s strong, sturdy and easy to set up. Even the legs are adjustable. Plenty of space too and folds half the size with legs cleverly tucked inside lid. Excellent value.
Good size
A good size for camping. Would have been 5 stars but although folds down nicely it is quite heavy, which is a consideration when packing in car. I suppose you have to balance this against the sturdiness
Extendable Heigh
The height it could be extended to is the main reason I needed this table, many others of similar makes don’t quite reach as this does rendering them unsuitable for purpose. Its sturdy enough, portable & foldable for easy storage. Very versatile & useful.
We have had this Lifetime 4×2 folding table since June 2024. It has proven to be very useful for all the family due to it’s varying height. At lower settings it is a good height for normal sitting on sofa and is great for the odd board game or hobby use (lego building is the main one), especially when we don’t want to get out the dining table (limited space).
At the tallest height it fits perfectly over the arms of our son’s specialist wheelchair and allows more space for activities than his slide on perspex table. It allows him more freedom for hobbies and craft.
It is quite heavy but that is due to the thick, tough top and metal legs. It had very little flex and is stable, even at full height. It is easy for one person to put up and take down, especially if you adjust the height while placing a foot on the cross bar. the legs can be folded eith on it’s side or upside down.
This table is easy to open out (with hands in the right places) its heavier than I expected but it is easy to open up and lock the table legs in place, the corners on the legs lock in place nicely. The height is awkward to adjust as there’s these little things to press in whilst pulling down the legs. Once up and in situ it looks quite good, but the table does wobble sideways as there is no supporting horizontal bar as some other tables have, this would have ensured it would have been super stable as the table isn’t the most stable once the legs are all in place. One other buyer of this table has put some timber to spread the legs outwards to make it more stable (as a sort of support to make it more stable). I may be doing this to mine aswell, but having said all this I do really like this table for the purpose I have in mind for it, I plan to use this for computer use and soldering with a mat. I do recommend this table as it will suit most purposes as shown on the discription, its great value, and it’s easy to take down and fold away, but whatever you do DON’T stand on the table as it’s not designed to have a lot of weight on the centre of the table as it only locks on one side underneath. For normal uses it is really worth having. I really recommend this table with the above caution, for my use it will be definately suitable for me!! and maybe for you too, it’s better quality than I expected.
Ps if the designers had given this table a lock on both sides underneath it would be more stable than it is than with just one!!. Once I’d opened it up I thought one locking lever was missing as it does look like it could have been missing, this may be how it has been designed.
Needed table for crafts but have limited space. The table is easy to use and fold away when not needed. Also got it for great price. What’s not to like.
Really impressed. It’s very solid… definitely not lightweight but I wanted something strong. Going to last for years. Has a slightly textured surface so things don’t slide too. Great choice!

Space saving when folded
I find this table very easy to set up and fold down. When set up it’s very sturdy and I can adjust the hight to suit me when doing my jigsaws.

Not easy to put up on your ow
Be careful when pushing down the legs I have them caught my arm skin quite a few times. Not easy. Otherwise a good little table. If it was an easier table to pull up and down, I would give it 5 stars.
Very Nice
We already have similar tables that are bigger, we needed a smaller version for easy transporting, this is excellent for our needs easy to adjust the height and easy to erect or collapse.
I love this table. I’ve just moved to a very small flat and had to leave much of my furniture behind but now I have a sewing table, patio dining table, desk, and workbench that folds up and fits in the closet. All for 42.50!
Pretty good table
We needed a table for a pop-up kitchen while we’re having building works completed and this fit the bill. We found it a little bit fiddly to extend the legs as the buttons were quite stiff, but nothing too strenuous. On the lowest level this table is perfectly sturdy, but gets a little wobblier when extended to its highest level. It’s a super useful little table though.
I put a quilting frame that includes a full size sewing machine on this. The adjustable height is exactly what I needed. It too a minute or two to erect the first time, but once you have worked it out is easy.
I didn’t find the problem with the centre bump some reviews describe, mine is level right across .
Having invited the family for Christmas lunch we needed extra table room for the buffet. Bit heavy for a pasting table so we searched the web for a solution. The price of this table was quite a bit lower than many we looked at but at least with Amazon we had the option to return it easily if it was unsuitable. However, we were pleased with this table when it arrived. It was easy to erect and very stable when fully opened. It has a wipe clean surface so it will not need a cover when in use. Very pleased and can recommend it for occasional use.
I have been looking for a good folding table for a while. In this table, I may have just found one.
This 4ft 2 Lifetime table is lightweight and weather resistant, not that I have left it outside for prolonged periods of time. The table folds in half (there is no sag in the middle when the table is put up) and is pretty easy to clean. But is it study? After all, noone wants a table that wobbles or buckles under a little weight. Yes it is? In fact the table can be used inside or outside. The table can be adjusted in height which is handy. At first you may find this table a little bit fiddly to open and close. But, you will soon get the hang of it with practise.
So whether you want to use this table as a picnic table, computer table or work bench/diy table, this folding table should prove to be a worthwhile choice.
Great Wallpaper Paste Board
This table is easy to carry from one room to another. You have to be quite strong to pull open the table. It requires two people to extend and retract the legs to full height, but watch your fingers! Once it’s up, it was great for what I needed it for. I’m not sure how much weight it could actually take.
Fab addition to our garden party
I was looking for a folding table for our garden party as we wanted an extra table for snacks, condiments, etc without overcrowding the main table. This was great and really sturdy. The only thing is that you really need two people to adjust the height as it’s a push and pull kinda thing and difficult for one person (for me, anyway), but other than that, it folds down well for putting away.
I wanted a table for jigsaws, but none of the jigsaw tables were big enough for the larger jigsaws I have. So I bought a jigsaw board that was large enough for all but one of them. Then I needed a table to put it on. I looked through a lot of tables at Amazon, and settled on this one.
It arrives folded (in half), and it’s a wee bit fiddly to open the first time, but there is an excellent video included on its Amazon page, and I followed that and soon had a lovely big table in the middle of the room.
The legs are at either end, so there is nothing to get in the way of your legs. That was a big plus for me, but I worried that it might sag in the middle where it folds, but it’s really well made and doesn’t sag at all, and it feels really solid when you lean on it.
Another thing about the legs is that you can set them to three different heights, which is useful. When you aren’t using it, it folds down flat again, and the demo video on the Amazon page covers that, too. It even has a leather handle included, to carry it with.
I will just add that I have arthritis but I’ve opened and closed it several times now without any problems after the first time – and the first time was only problematical until I remembered to look at the video. 🙂
I highly recommend this table.
Heavier than I thought it would be
On the whole I’m very pleased with the table. However I would not describe it as light, it is pretty heavy. On the plus side that does make it sturdy.
The table itself is straightforward, so don’t get the other reviews about it being hard or complicated to set up.
Orignally wanted as a craft table for my bedroom, but is now being used as a setup for TV, player and midi hifi unit and it can take the weight of it all. The telly is an old 32inch (the dinosaur as I call it) and weighs a ton, but the table is sturdy enough to support all the equipment.
Can be used to support a PC setup easily without fear of it collapsing.
Once I can get a new unit it will once again be used as my crafting/sewing table but it has so many uses both in the house and garden.
Pleased with this table, only wish they did it in black to fit in with rest of furniture.
Highly recommend, more colour options would be preferred.
sturdy and of high quality
I have seen a lot of folding tables in shops which did not meet my expectations of quality and sturdiness. I’m glad I came across this folding table on Amazon. Would highly recommend to anyone.
After ordering the amazon basics one for it never to arrive after the delivery dates kept changing, i cancelled the order and decided to order this one instead. I am not dissapointed. I wanted it for a sewing table. Needed to be sturdy enough to hold multiple heavy machines easily. This table can hold the weight of a sewing machine, overlocker and coverstitch easily. The adjustable legs are a bonus for a sewing table as I can raise it for cutting fabric for less back ache! Easy to set up. Some people suggested it’s heavy but i can assure you my sewing machine is heavier! Folds away neatly. I thoroughly recommend this to other sewists looking for something to withstand the weight and vibrations of their machines.
Sturdy. Substantial. Portable
I was worried that the table would be flimsy and weak – it isn’t. It is reassuringly heavy. Folds well. Glad I spent the extra on something substantial.

Very happy with this – it was just what i wanted. It’s sturdy too which helps when it is a small table. The adjustable legs are perfect – really hard to find a table that has adjustable legs so really pleased with this.
Good size.
I was looking for a puzzle table but they are ridiculously expensive. I came across this whilst I was looking and thought it would be a great alternative. The size is just right for puzzling and you can change the height too which is great for when my grandkids come round. It’s not that easy to fold up or flatten the legs but Ithat could just be me not getting the hang of it!
I just leave it up now. It’s relatively sturdy and useful for all sorts of things.

Very Sturdy 4ft folding table, flex thos thumbs!
This 4ft lifetime table is very well made and for me, was very easy to assemble. It is fairly heavy but this ensures it is study and strong. The instructional video on the Amazon listing is very helpful but to add to this, when you wish to fold the legs away you need to push the angle supports inwards on both sides at the same time, then the legs fold in.
This table was purchased for an elderly couple and although they watched the video on how to open and close it, in reality they were unable to do this as pushing in the two button on both legs at the same time as placing a foot on the crossbar and lifting the table up proved too difficult. To unfold this you do need some strength in your thumb and be supple enough to bend over whilst a foot is placed on the crossbar.
The guy in the video makes it look very easy to do and indeed, I found it just as easy but alas to elderly people did not.
I recommend this table, if you have strong thumbs.
This is one of the best purchases I've ever made.
I do ALOT of crafts. And wanted a small sized table to be able to sit and watch TV and do my crafts at the same time. This fit the bill perfectly.
I wasn’t expecting much but the height adjustments are perfect too, when used to baking or candle making the table can be raised pretty high so your not leaning over the table and hurting your back. The only downside I can think of regarding the height is the higher it goes the more unstable it becomes, it’s not enough to warrant major concern but it does move side to side more when it’s higher up.
It will also be perfect to use along side my larger 6ft table I take to events with more for gift wrapping etc
Overall though I wish I’d have brought it sooner!
Great as a sturdy work table for sorting out stuff!
Yes it is a bit stiff to open up and yes it is a bit heavy. The legs are steel of course and not titanium. But this fits the bill perfectly for temporary work tables. Very sturdy indeed and simple to clean. If you do not need to move the table often then this is just the job. Price very reasonable too.

Bought this table for use in the kitchen when required. Brilliant little table, very strong and easy to assemble. When not in use folds away neatly and fits in the cupboard.
Perfect Lego building table
So I needed a table to build my Lego as using the floor was killing my back, my sofa is low as well so I was struggling to find one low enough and then I found this and it perfect and even fits under the sofa when I am not using it and it’s big enough to spread out my Lego with the book and what I am building and a lamp and my phone and remote control, I would 100% recommended this table

Great fir extra space
I used this table for extra work space in my kitchen as I was using my dining table which is usually in my kitchen for Christmas dinner.its packed away in the shed ready to use again in the garden for queens jubilee.
It's so much easier to fold than the older version.

Table has three adjustable heights. Comes out from behind the settee when its needed. Ideal for games with the family, crafts and so good I bought another, put them alongside each other and served Christmas dinner for 8, saving us dragging our dining table into the larger room. Wish I’d seen them earlier.

Well worth purchase, sturdy, height adjustable to three levels and its all-in-one! This makes it excellent! Only issue is it id somewhat awkward to open and extend and close – due to its heaviness, stiffness and actually mostly due to an absence of instructions – once one has worked out the hows of it all it becomes a little more manageable. A lot easier to unfold and etc adjust with another person.

Not a bad table but have seen better for the money. We brought as spare table for when family over as our table not big enough, we though ideal for 2 small kids to sit at when we got a house full. It’s ok for occasionally use but wobbles a bit if not careful. Our floors flat but still wobbles so not a good table for outdoors really. It done the job for us though over the Christmas season. At the end of the day we needed something quick delivery, so this ticked boxes.
Folding Table
Perfect – Had to extend our dining table to accomadate extra people over Xmas. This table was a god send. Very sturdy and saved the day. Will make good use of it in the garden during the summer months too.

This table is quite sturdy and was great at Christmas when we needed an extra table. The legs can be set at different heights and it folds up very conveniently. The one thing that could be improved is the way that the legs are shortened/ heightened as it is a bit tricky to do on your own and easy to get you fingers caught as you are pressing the buttons.

Well made and good value
I bought the 4ft version of this Lifetime table and am very pleased with it. I am having major building works done downstairs so will be living upstairs and needed a sturdy table to put a microwave on.
Firstly, you must watch the video on this page which shows you how to erect and adjust this table. Also, it clarifies the fact that, for example, there is only one red safety lock and it isn’t a manufacturing defect – two would be clumsy.
The table itself folds up very neatly and the tabletop despite being plastic is really tough and easy to clean with a damp cloth. I think the table is robust and it easily supports my microwave oven plus other kitchen items. The legs are easily adjustable too with three fixed heights which are well chosen. The mechanism seems to strike a good balance between being robust and not making the table too heavy. – it weighs in at about 8.5Kg.
I’m really pleased with this purchase, the quality, ease of erecting and folding the table and the price point are just right – full marks to Lifetime.
Great all rounde
I got this table to replace my dining table that used to just always be cluttered and uneasy to clean around. This is great, I can put it up and down really quick, cleans easily and it’s a great space saver. We’ve ended up buying another one to use if more people come round as well. So far I’ve used it daily as my dining table, a work desk, an art table for the kids, a picknick table, camping table. It’s just so versatile. The different heights are great also, with a 2 year old and a 1 year old they are able to stand or sit nicely at the table on the lowest setting which is just great and served me getting yet another ‘kids’ table for them to do some activities on. Would 100% recommend for any young families wanting something that’s easy and to save space.

Very nice table, the first time I opened it wasn’t very clear how to remove the lock, but afterwards it’s been very useful table.
Sturdy folding table.
We bought this to replace an old garden table and for when we have family over. Its a little heavy but that contributes to its sturdiness. It folds down very neatly and is therefore easy to store. We are very pleased with it. The only thing on the minus side is there are no useful instructions with the box, so I strongly recommend you watch the little video. Once you do all becomes clear and is easy-peasy.

We purchased this for our Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day. Our home is a teeny tiny new build 2 bed without any space for even the smallest of tables to be out permanently. The table was easy to pop up and felt very stable. It easily fit 4 of us, and at a push would fit 6.

We are so pleased with this table. We wanted a bit of extra space when model/card making and this is just perfect! It’s a really great size so provides a fantastic workable space, and folds up small enough to be able to be hidden out of the way when not in use. It’s really sturdy too and feels quality. It will come in really useful for when friends and family are round for a buffet Christmas tea. I like the fact there is a video available to help you open it out, adjust the legs, etc.. This all gives it the feeling of a well made table from a reliable company. As you can guess, we are really pleased we bought this table!!!!
VERY HEAVY
I’ve given this table 5 stars because it deserved them.
BUT I found it far too heavy. I’m disabled and struggle to walk, so maybe it was just me.
The next day I sold it on to a fellow camper who was thrilled with it.
Craft stall
This is a handy table for craft markets and stalls. It’s a little stiff to move the legs up and down but it’s technique that you learn. It will move in high wind but that’s expected from a lightweight table. All in all I will be using this for a long time, it seems well built.
Very versatile
This is a lovely little table that’s folds in half when packed away, also has a carry handle. The surface itself is quite strong and legs sturdy. The height adjustable feature is also very useful which makes this table incredibly versatile. I also have the 6ft table which is very similar to this one but not foldable and a bit sturdier. Excellent products.

This table was delivered on time. Sturdy and easy to assemble. I have used this in my garden to keep one of my guineapigs large cages on. Will be buying another one very soon. Only reason I have given 4 stars is due to packaging as the box was open one end on delivery.

Solid, adjustable height easy to setup table
Needed a foldaway table for jigsaws and stuff. Went for this because of the adjustable height – 3 settings.
Initially tricky to unfold because the catch that clips it together was quite firm but once opened you can see how it works and then dead easy. Legs fold out at the default shortest length and easy to extend by popping in the spring buttons on the legs. So far had been excellent.
Quality produc
We were very impressed with this table and works perfectly. Unclipping the table from fully loaded can be a little difficult but I guess it needs to be like this to ensure it doesn’t split while being carried. Overall, very impressed.

My only bug beer is that if you want to adjust the height you have to have three hands. One for each leg lock and the other to pull the leg out!

Good compact table
No instructions and not easy to work out, I found. Watched a YouTube video, that helped. Find it a bit wobbly, to be honest; not as sturdy as it could be when in full height, but passable. Definitely, from a woman’s perspective this is not lightweight, I struggled to pick it up. The positives; 3 height adjustments, which is good. A good decent size, which comes in handy for crafter’s. Folds flat for easy storage, if your short of room.

Great value for money
This was bought as a craft table for the grandkiddies so they could all craft at the same time. it is pretty sturdy, easy to put down but the putting up is a bit harder. It is not a difficult process but the 2 halves take some pulling apart in order to get the legs down! Great value for money and as such it is not “precious” if the grandchildren mark it with paints etc
