Love this mat! Used in a hot power yoga class and despite dripping sweat there was no slippage. I also really like the lines on the mat to check my position placement. Nice that it came with a bag and overall light to carry. Not sore how it compares otherwise to the non travel other than being lighter and I believe smaller but I’m 5’8 and in a crowded class and found it to be perfect. I also love the color. I chose the orange mat.

The stickiness alone is worth the money. If you value your yoga practice improving more than you value $125 then you should buy this mat. If you don’t see the value in yoga, then you will still be happy with the stickiness.

I bought my Liform mat about a month ago after using a Lululemon mat for three years and a Manduka for about 5 years, and in my opinion it is the best mat out of those three. Now, would I recommend it to a beginner? For this price — probably not. My recommendation is to start yoga on a relatively cheap mat, find out which form of yoga you like best (e.g Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa, Power Yoga) and then buy a more expensive mat accordingly. My way lead to this mat as I like Vinyasa yoga, Inversions and Armbalances and I need the grip that the Liforme mat gives. I do have quite sweaty palms and was worried about the very smooth surface at first, but the truth is that even in a very heated practice this mat has never let me down so far (and I practice almost daily). The alignment cues are a nice to have, but really come down to preference. I consciously choose the travel mat, as I found my 5mm Lululemon mat often too heavy to carry to class. But if you have knee issues — then I’d recommend the classic Liforme for more cushioning. Overall, there’s reasons why yogis keep on buying this rather pricy mat and I have to agree — I think it’s the best mat out there too.
La adherencia que tiene es fantstica. El nico pero que tiene es que si es bastante delgada, para usarla as mis rodillas sufren. Yo lo tengo solucionado con otro Mat ms grueso y con eso compensa por lo dems me encanta.
Ich habe bereits die normale Yogamatte und habe mir nun noch die Travel Ausfhrung gekauft. Ich liebe die Matten da sie komfortabel sind, geruchlos, nicht rutschig und auch gut aussehen. Die Markierungen sind ebenfalls sehr hilfreich. Die Transporttasche ist sehr praktisch. Die Matten sind zwar etwas teurer aber auf jeden Fall ihr Geld wert.

Ya tengo la esterilla normal y es buensima!! Antideslizante y antihumedad increble, pero pesa un poco para ir transportndola a las clases de yoga fuera de casa, y opt por comprar la esterilla de viaje, en cuanto a calidad igual de bien ( inmejorable) pero al ser ms fina me cuesta mucho hacer asanas en las que hay que apoyar rodillas, antebrazos o tobillos( no tengo ningn tipo de lesin ni problema ), cosa que con la normal no me pasa.
La he usado poco pero de momento estoy encantada con la compra. ptima en peso y tamao, cmoda para su transporte. Es realmente antideslizante, tiene muy buen agarre. A veces me sudan las manos durante la prctica y en otras esterillas me resbalaba, eso no me sucede con sta. Totalmente recomendable. Lo nico negativo a destacar es que es un poco fina, poco acolchada, pero bueno, an as me gusta mucho.
I have the full size version too, which is quite heavy, this one really is small enough to take on a plane, and even though it doesn’t look it at first, it is big enough for a six foot tall 85 kg bloke. Great grip too, but the compromise is that it has to be thin to be light, I have no probs with that, and the padding issue is not a worry to me either, but the mat can ruckle up a bit and twist up, because it is thin….that is the only concern, it is not a fault, it is a consequence of being a portable mat.

My favorite feature: the signs so you position your body well. The material is also very high quality. It’s compact so very easy to travel with to class or for weekends out of town.

Although is a bit expensive and I have heard there are others with same anti slippery feature and cheaper (lululemon, manduka), I like this mat. Its size and weight, and I love the lines for my alignment. So good when is new because it is impossible to slide. I had another one that last ONLY 2 years with daily use. Super slippery now, I can’t use it anymore.
Mat is great as this is the second one I have purchased. The thing I was dissatisfied with was the shipping. The box was left in the snow on the driveway even though there was a closed in porch 10 feet away.
Gute Qualitt kaum Verschlei bei mir jedoch ist ein leichtes Rutschen der Hnde und Fe kaum zu vermeiden obwohl ich eher wenig schwitze. Das Material ansich ist sehr stabil, bisher kein Verschlei an den Drehstellen der Fe zu erkennen.

Used for a year and it’s been great. It doesn’t move or roll up at the ends when in use like others! Alignment markers help too

This is everything I need for yoga. It’s thin enough to travel, but still cushy. It does not slip and it cleans easily. The alignment marks are much needed since I’m a beginner.
Je suis professeur de yoga et ce tapis est le meilleur que j’aie trouv. Trs adhrent et ultra fin pour les postures d’quilibre. Les lignes et le centre permettent un alignement parfait dans les postures.
Nonostante io abbia avuto molti tappetini , questo mi ha permesso finalmente di praticare molte Asana che prima non riuscivo a fare per mancanza di grip.

I wanted this mat to travel with and while I didn’t come in time for my trip , it did come the day after lol .
It was packaged nicely and everything was legit and in tact like when I ordered directly from lifeforme.
As for the mat- it’s simply amazing! Has all the perfection as my first mat except it’s lighter and noticeably slimmer – not super slim , but slim enough that if you’re in a packed yoga class I’d opt for this over the regular one
I got the pink color and while I thought it would be a little more muted pink , it actually is a little on the hotter pink side , just a very intense pink – not bad though but not hot pink .
The grip is amazing – it pics up oils but that doesn’t affect the grip , and the oils fade. Cleans nicely . Just love this ma
THE BEST MAT EVER! I’ve owned the mat for just over a month and been practicing on it, I really like the grip and stability! Today I took a Hot class and did not use a mat towel! This mat ROCKS! I’m a “sweater” and it never lost grip. I’ll never own another mat brand!!

This mat is awesome. The alignment cues help a lot. I’ve also used this mat in a hot yoga class and no towel needed. Great grip. The only thing I noticed was the strong odor when I first opened it.
E’ un ottimo tappetino: garantisce notevole grip, velocit di asciugatura e stabilit anche nelle posizioni di equilibrio, ed anche esteticamente molto gradevole. Non posso dare 5 stelle per 2 motivi: la custodia molto stretta, esattamente di misura, e togliere e inserire il tappetino non agevole; la seconda, e pi importante, ch per essere un tappetino da viaggio davvero troppo pesante, anche se solo 2 cm di spessore.
I have very sweaty hands during yoga and do not slip at all. I’m very impressed with the mat!
I think marks and stains that come with all mats over time is a badge of honor and I enjoy those as well, so going from a dark to light color will be interesting.
I love that the lines on the lifeforme are even more grippy (without abrasion).
I’m overall, very impressed and will report back after a 3 hour hot yoga session. 😉
THE AFTER UPDATE;
It is bittersweet to inform everyone that I’m retiring my 3 y.o Lululemon mat because this lifeforme is BADA$S!!
100% recommended by one of the biggest hot yoga mat snobs you’ll ever come across.
And again I chose the travel size by choice and wouldn’t have it any other way.
so I’m not actually complaining about this but my only complaint would be is that there is zero slip with this mat. I know it’s gross but I used to use the sweat from my neck on my heel to slide into half splits or full splits… that’s not going to happen with this mat and that’s slightly disappointing. I also would rely on my sweat to allow me to widen my knees in child’s pose that also is not going to be an option with this because of how grippy and sticky this mat is. Will also cause “back suction farts” if you don’t have some kind of cloth under your back. like I said I’m not complaining about this but if I had a complaint that would be it.
I sweat a lot more than avg people and by the end of a 3 hour class period there is a slight slip.
6month update, my two complaints would be 1) the odor that’s setting into my mat.
2) But mostly that the top surface is beginning to separate from the backing. I expected this mat to hold up better for much longer. At least 3 years as comparable to Lulu. It is possible I got a bad batch Mat.
I’ll do another update in April 2020 if I’m still using it.

Estoy muy contenta con mi esterilla, llevo menos de dos meses usndola y es de muy buena calidad, me gusta muchsimo que no resbala, que el plstico no se hace feo de los sitios de mayor apoyo (manos y pies). No le pongo 5 estrellas por que aunque saba que compraba la de viaje me pareci demasiado delgada y poco acolchada. La uso con otra esterilla de bajo y va fenomenal.

I bought this after noticing that a lot of people at my hot yoga studio seem to be using it.
I’ve been sliding around on a Manduka mat and towel at hot yoga for just over a year. No matter how well I cleaned the mat, there seemed to be no end to the sliding.
With the Liforme it’s a different story. The coating on the upper surface of the mat is extremely grippy when dry and continues to be when it gets mildly to moderately wet from sweat. At around the 30 minute mark in a hot practise it can get slightly oversaturated to the point where your hand grip can slip. At this point – I’ve found that a quick wipe with a hand/face towel helps get back to a point of sufficient grip. It seems to be that standing water on the mat is the only thing that really reduces the grip.
The alignment markings are more useful than you’d think.
The included bag is a nice touch, as is the slightly oversized dimension of the mat.
All in all – if you’re anything more than a 1 class a week yogi and you see yourself doing this for a while this is a slightly expensive but worthwhile investment.

I am so happy I finally found a yoga mat that is non-slip. I’ve only used it for about a week or so, but so far I’m extremely satisfied with it . In the future I’ll be ordering the wider one for home use.

I practice hot 2-3x week. Plus a normal temp power once weekly. I’m a gal who sweats more like a man. I refuse to use a mat towel (even the ones that stay in place). The grip is fantastic even when wet! I can push more effectively in dolphin. The mat soaks up sweat so well.
This mat is super lightweight. Stores small bc of its thinness. If you need a little cushion in your mat, this isn’t the one. The texture is similar rubbery feel to a lulu or Gaiam sol. Totally different from the Jade Harmony.
If you’re still reading, my only complaint would be the design of the zipper on the bag. I was excited it came with a bag. Previously, I used my strap to store my mat. But it’s a little hard to get the mat out of the bag. I have to pinch the mat (see pic) to get it out. I’ll keep using the mat and see if I get used to using the bag.
The look and feel of the Liforme yoga matt is cool. The graphics help me place my hands and feet properly and the straight line down the middle keeps me in balance. The matt is larger, and lighter than the Matts I’ve used in the past and has tremendous grip. I practice yoga 4 times per week at a fitness center and people are asking questions and commenting on the unique look
Finde sie jedoch trotzdem berteuert, denn es gibt genug Matten mit derselben Beschichtung, die billiger sind – daher ein Stern Abzug.

Trs contente de ce yoga mat. Comme je l’attendais, ce tapis ne glisse pas. Ni cause de la transpiration, ni au sol. En revanche, je m’attendais un tout petit peu plus de confort mme si c’est le model travel… le systme d’alignement est un outil qui aide bien dans la juste ralisation des postures.

I was looking for a fairly affordable grippy mat really like this one. Tried many at lower prices but finally decided I would spend the money for one that truly grips and is comfortable. I don’t like that when I sweat it turns the mat a different colour. Kathryn CO
Love it, but it marks easily and is hard to remove any stains. My recommendation is to order the grey mat instead, but it is very pretty!
