Can’t fault this at all. 100% recommend them

I wish I could buy lots more of them to put in every room of the house but can’t afford it.

Lots of features and they recognise the bulbs they area attached to so it who’s how much power it’s using and does the brightness right for the bulbs attached. Works with Alexa very fast and faultlessly. Can change colours to suit your style in between the buttons. Can turn this little light off on the buttons as well if say in a bedroom which is another nice touch.

If you can afford it buy them and you won’t be disappointed.

I initially bought one of these as my room. Was being decorated

Ended up buying three as the dimmer was easy to install and can be controlled with your phone or voice via Siri or Google..

I will be buying more as I upgrade the house

Easy to install well written instructions. Did have an issue with one side of the switch would switch off and on but the lights remained on, thought it was a faulty switch so managed to get a replacement (great service) fitted the new one and still had the same issue. Wish I had checked bulb compatibility as this proved the problem, basically I had two lights circuit controlled by the 2gang switch when you swapped the wires around you still had the same problem. I found it worked fine if you have a combined load of over 10 Watts so I used dimmable led bulbs @ 7w each. Very pleased with it. The whole system with the link plus was easy to setup and works great with the echo. Dot.

    Use the correct bulbs

I have been using the Lightwave switches for more than a year now in my Apple HomeKit environment and their performance has been rock solid. The connection has not dropped even once. The app allows to customise a lot of features including changing the colour and intensity of the LEDs. I have also been able to use them as multi-way switches for my hallway lights which have three switches controlling the lights. They require a hub attached to your router which is a downside.

I don’t like how it dims! It’s nice and smooth but you can’t set it at the level you want unless you buy the WiFi unit to enable it to your phone which is a bit TOO pricey.

Very good feature, extension collar included with switch as dimmer quite deep.

It’s as far as I’m aware the only smart dimmer switch available that you don’t need to use a neutral wire for.
Installation is easy and the the switch reports it’s status back to the hub.
Auto calibration is a bit hit and miss but easily adjust using the app.
I get on with it perfect. All that said it is a very expensive system.

These are great switches and despite other reports, having installed these throughout my house myself, I can confirm the setting up of a master/slave is very simple. Equally being able to wire a live/neutral and using as a smart switch without a lighting circuit is great for 2 way switching. All this is far better than the gen 1.
    Where they go wrong is:
1: The price. 100 for a 2 way dimmer and 200 for a 4 way is very expensive vs others
2: Lack of devices. Gen 1 was far better served, they blame apple for this, aparently it costs a lot and takes a long time to get it certified….
3: The move to common live is a pain where you have multi level house with different circuits as of cause stairs will normally have 2 separate circuits and if you try to merge them… well it will work until the next guy works on the circuit then I hope for his sake yoy have a RCD to save them a nasty shock! Because I this I don’t think these are really self install any longer as Joe public without a degree in electronic engineering has no idea if its safe to connect both lives to the common.

Finally, the app sucks! it does what it needs to yes, but they having designed it… no user journey… if I want to turn the bedside light on i have to open app, chose floor, chose room, find the icon tap it… can take 30 seconds. Cant help but think could be done much bette

Good quality, works well but ensure you read the entire manual – we have one set of lights controlled by switches in two locations (either side of a room) and hadn’t realised that we had to replace BOTH switches with Lightwave ones.

I was worried this would be the most complex switch to install. Turns out it was actually very simple and I found it the easiest to install. That could be down to me leaving this to the lady and having learned from my previous installs.

This was the white metal switch and I love it. Looks amazing on the wall and with the LED’s set at the dimmest level it’s unobtrusive in the room.

Expensive but the best for UK market.

No neutral required at the dimmer!
Work great with LED, very configurable (leading, trailing edge supported and adjustable dimming range).
    Multi way switching supported.
    Work with HomeKit.
    Look great.

I have replaced most of the light switches in our house with these. They are expensive but they are very good.

Purchased with a few more items of the Lightwave products.
I am an electrician though and found the install very easy.
Used with remote switches and the hub it can easily be controlled.
Only issue I have with this item is the cost.
I had to two way my set of switches so required two units.
That’s costly. Also you require a supply to this so it can work.
Beauty is though a standard switch can be swapped for this and made into a 3 Gang.
    Great product..

Smart light-switches are the best way to go if you want to install YOUR choice of dimmable light bulb, be it a cheap one from your local hardware store or a specialised antique squirrel cage bulb etc.

The “Link Plus” unit serves as the hub for your ‘smart lighting/switching/heating’ network. It plugs into your WiFi Router and communicates via radio frequency with the lightswitch, as opposed to directly via WiFi (e.g. Philips Hue).
Setting up was easy and straightforward. The app is simple and intuitive and you can set schedules or timers for a single device or group of devices. You can switch on the light either directly from the light switch on the wall (and dim accordingly) or from your smartphone app (Android, Apple iOS) or a laptop.

If your WiFi goes down or if you lose your internet connection you can still operate the light from the lightswitch as you would with any standard dimmer switch.

I also managed to link the switch to my Google Home speaker for voice activation! (Amazon Echo [Alexa] is also supported)

Used in our bedroom to control an array of dimmable downright LED lights the switch was easy and simple to install as a standard replacement light switch. Very good instructions were also provided with connection to the hub executed without issue to enable remote control of the light switch. The biggest issue is with the lighting software app that has changed many times and continues to fail to provide all the functionality promised. Once the software is working correctly this lighting system will be one of the best however until then currently it’s an expensive although very nice looking standard dimmer switch that may not be used to full potential without the software app.

I’m surprised, given the mixed reviews, but this works exactly as described and worked first time. I’ve just ordered another three for other rooms.
Setup was painless, I just followed the 4 steps in the poster it arrives with.
I chose this to replace our Philips Hue as having multiple light switches in each room was confusing for the family, and a limited choice of expensive bulbs wasn’t ideal.
Very happy with Lightwave as an alternative – its much simpler for everyone to use and seems to work with our existing regular bulbs just fine. 10/10.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGreat switch, only one I have found for use in the UK without neutral wires. Works great with HomeKit. If I’m being fussy, the buttons could feel better when pressed, but quite robust and works well. Saves buying lots of smart bulbs that require switches to be left on.

I did get flickering lights from one of the switches, although a simple firmware update on the app fixed the issue and not seen it since.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersExcellent easily installed product, a surprisingly small profile inside the box, the lightwave app works really well but the killer feature is the compatibility with HomeKit, with this switch you can turn any dumb light into a smart light, I even cut the plugs off of some floor standing uplighters and attached this switch to a pattress box, then wired the uplights through this, giving control from anywhere in the world with full dimming control of any lights in the house.
