I want this to highlight the lights around the pond, I have other lights that work with Alexa with the Smart Life app, so it takes some perseverance to add them to the app, the instructions for that part aren’t great, but not of them seem to be.
There isn’t a specific option in the app, so I used string lights.
Selecting the wifi is the part that is confusing. It needs to be on the 2.4Mhz for the router as well as the lights, which took a number of times of going back and forth to ensure it could find the lights on 2.4Mhz and then having done that chose the router, but I also gave it plenty of time.
I renamed the lights as Alexa works best with simple names
Connecting it to Alexa was then very easy just with an option in the app

Then setting the colours is as simple as saying:
Alexa set “pond” to green.

You can set scenes through the app but they don’t seem to be selectable through Alexa

I have bought these lights twice non of them will pair what a waste of time and money

Easy to set up and look great in garden, still moving them about for the final positions. But love them.
