This is an ideal gift for both boy or girl and be a part of helping with the garden, or perhaps tending their own little garden.
My children always want to join in, even when I am doing a job I don’t particularly like, such as gardening. They get underfoot and, in the way, so the best thing to do is set them up with their own job. This ‘Growing Garden Hand Tools & Bag’ from Little Tikes is great as they have their own little set of tool to dig up a flower patch.
The set is great quality, you get a blunted garden fork, spade and rake. They all fit into the bag or the side pockets. It is very cute watching your child walk around the garden with their little gardener bag. There is room inside for some pegs or packets of seeds so you can set them up with what job you want them to do before handing over all you need. The tools are well made, smaller and lighter than the adult versions. They are blunt enough that a child will have to go some way to hurt themselves.
Lovely set of gardening tools for children. It feels like some simple seeds could have been included to help the set feel more complete, so make sure you get some with the set or else your kids are left wanting to dig holes with nothing to plant.
Each tool is well made and put together: the handles are made from wood and have a thick coating that no splinters can get through, the ends are strong metal and would take a lot of effort to bend out of place.
The bag is made from a thick material that would be hard to tear and is very durable in the wet and dirt. It also has plenty more pockets for extra tools or seed packets. The tips book included has plenty of information to help your plants grow well. The box is also multipurpose and can be unfolded out to make a planter.
Its a nice set and well made, if you want a new activity for your children then this is a great one to do with them, shame about no seeds included but this has everything else you would need.

A cute way of getting the kids into gardening. My one has always been interested in what the tools do in the garden and now she has her own set she can play until her heart is content. We have a little tub filled with soil too so she can use the tools to play with it and pretend garden. These could also be used for sand if you wish.

My daughter loves pottering around the garden and joining in “gardening” with me.. it usually descends into her looking for worms but either way it’s something she greatly enjoys.
Receiving these tools was something she was overjoyed with, she felt very special having her own tools that were clearly not just a toy set.

This is a lovely gift idea. Well made as you come to expect from little tikes branded items. Good size for toddlers carrying round. Yellow and blue colours appealing for both sexes.
