Plug and Play – Consistent Video Signals
Cost: Analog cameras tend to cost less, sometimes even a lot less, than their digital counterparts.
Simplicity: DVR is easier to set up and understand for most.
Lower Bandwidth Requirements: Analog recorded video files tend to be smaller, and they are transmitted to the DVR over coax instead of LAN, so transmitting them doesn’t take as much bandwidth. Plus, DVRs also usually only transmit the information and use bandwidth when someone is viewing the video, rather than on a more constant basis.

I want you to change one of the camera’s which doesn’t work!
The value for money is pretty nice since I got 6 cameras of this product and I could see that the night version is very clea
Bought this cctv system for my home. Did a temporary test setup in my home since I was skeptical of the quality at such a low price. Digital hard drive that I purchased separately, powered it up, followed instructions to format the hard drive, set it to record and watched it work. Took for little time and it has been running with no issues…
The installation of whole system took me around 3 hours because I had to fit the cables properly and place the cameras in the right position. Besides a screwdriver and a leather I didnt need anything else because all the accessories that are need come in the box. To make this work the only thing needed is a hard drive(the old type not ssd) which I had from an old computer. Mine is 500gb which is more than enough because the system has the option to overwrite the files so it does loop recording.
The quality of the video is decent considering the price I have paid for the whole system. Daytime the image is clear and I can even zoom in a bit and still see some details. Night time though, it is a bit noisy but still keeps a good balance between highlights and blacks so overall this is also fine.
The mouse is wired so from this point of view I dont have to worry that I need to charge it or replace the batteries.
The advantage is that the set has 8 cameras so literally I get video from all the angles of the building.
Per general this is a good value cctv system. Pleased with the purchase.
I previously had two sets of KTVI systems which meant that I had to switch in between each set up whenever I was reviewing footage, so I decided to go away from that and move onto one single unit which would cover everything
This set up does need a hard drive and as it’s six cameras we decided to go with a 2TB hard drive in order to have plenty of history there to review when needed. Installing the hard drive is really simple it’s just a few screws in the back which get taken off then the hard drive is plugged straight in there were written recommendations on here on which hard drive to buy which we went for a surveillance hard drive specifically knowing that they would have to be written on then re written on a repeated basis.
The CCTV system itself gives off great images, we’re able to zoom in on two number plates and individual faces which makes it really easy to identify whoever is there, we also have the app installed as well as e-mail notifications for specific cameras so we can tell whenever anybody is on site when we’re not expecting anybody and even review footage if we are expecting them but we don’t know what they did.
I believe everybody should have a security system installed in this day and age and setup for this system in particular is so simple anybody could do it, so why not.
After extending property I end up with couple different video systems, to tidy up and have all in one place I have got this 8 Chanel big bundle.
This one has 8 cameras and also build in 1tb large recording capacity. No need to buy separately storage disc.
Camera itself small, compact , not bulky and waterproof so no need to be under cover .
It is wire connected and linked to main internet so still getting motion alerts to my mobile in same time fully recoded to my cameras hard drive .
It takes power threw the cable mains, no battery powered so no need to recharging it. As it has powerful night vision and could drain battery faster.
Overall it’s great price range considering it comes with 8 cameras, build in 1tb memory, clear night vision , live motion notifications to mobile and 2mp camera quality.
Good value not to hard to install.
Good vision day and night.
Would recomend if asked
I have had CCTV setups in the past and whilst they are great i always thought there were never enough cameras to cover every angle of the house, there was always blind spots no matter how i angled the cameras, the only solution was to go with extra cameras and 6 seems to be the perfect number.
My standard setup covers 2 in the front crossing over each other from the left and right, 2 in the back and one on each side of the house, these leaves no blind spots at all anywhere outside of my house.
However, for a friends pub we needed a couple more.
The cameras included give me a nice clean image night and day and that image looks good whether i am viewing it on the NVR or directly on my way (there is a small delay n the phone but nothing major and i presume this would vary depending on your signal quality).
Fitting them is simple, but try to make sure you leave access to adjust them once you have the ability to view them as this will help you make the most of the images you get from them, a small adjustment in angle could mean a bigger area covered.
Overall, i it works exactly as needed, so i’m really happy with it.
Work great even on my phone I can rewind and look back.
Incredible simple to install.
Plenty of cable.
System works well.
App download simple and easy to use. I’m able to access the feed through my phone anytime anywhere. The image quality is good enough to see what is going on and the night vision is great. Not HD but clear enough, even in pitch black lighting.
Perfect for monitoring the blind spots on property.
The on screen menus were easy to navigate.
I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a security system.
You get a great entry level system for the price.
To make app work create and account XVRVIEW and then scan code once your DVR and cameras are working.
You can use the same login details on multiple devices which very useful and easy to share with family.
I ordered 8 cameras but only used 6.
Night vision is very good and if you view these cameras on HD mode then it’s even clearer.
Overall performance is really good and I am very happy customer.
A perfect small system for the outdoor area! It’s simple to put up and easy to control he quality is good and I am comfortable now I known my car is monitored!! One thing you must remember though you must get a hard drive! I recommend a 1TB as it will record for months. 🙂
We bought this initially to add a bit of surveillance to the back of my wife’s nan’s house to provide coverage over the entire property. She has a huge amount of land which isn’t at all well lit at night time. We chose this based on the positive reviews and also because it was also one of the cheapest sets that we could find, as we really needed all 6 cameras! It includes an app which you can download to receive push notifications of any detections on it – it works very well surprisingly, and is user-friendly, even for the old dear who turns 84 this year.
Setting it up was a doddle. With very little in the way of instructions, it was still simple to set up. Cameras give good image clarity, even at night, and the range of the cameras is very good so we get good coverage over our land. This one doesn’t include a hard drive but any SATA drive will work with it and they are very cheap to pick up now due to the increasingly popularity of SSDs.
The cameras themselves will durable and well constructed, and thus far, the recent bad weather hasn’t affected them in any way. Overall, an impressive set and the peace of mind that it provides far outweighs the price paid for it all.
This system is rather cheap on the price scale, does really well. It’s super simple to set up and with just a few clicks you are in the main system set it up. It’s really simple to navigate.
It comes with 6PCS 1080P HD 2.0 Megapixels Security Cameras with IR cut 60ft Night Vision. The IP66 Weatherproof Cameras can be used Indoor and Outdoor.
It is up and running and configured the way I like it. I like that you can set up zones for each and every camera that triggers the recording function. I installed 1TB Hard Drive, it’s ready to record, you can set up auto, manual, and motion detection recording, you can also remote playback and live view the video on a smartphone.
Overall, this is a great system for the money, it has literally all of the features I wanted plus no subscription required to view remotely, and that was one of my top priorities when searching for a security system.
The Maisi 1080P 8 channel camera system with DVR is an excellent value for money CCTV system. For those on a budget this is especially good. The system does all the basics and even some of the advanced functions.. The cameras are 2MP bullet cameras, they are waterproof and look good. All cabling and accessories is included with the kit and apart from the wiring which can be problematic, setting up the system is very straightforward. The cameras pull through automatically once connected and using the DVR and setting it up is very simple, the included mini mouse is great for purpose too.
It is worth stating that the system doesn’t come with a hard drive, but you can use one from an old PC or laptop no problem, just make sure you format it prior to installing, once formatted it’ll work flawlessly and record all your data.
Price is very reasonable, value for money is very high and it even has motion detection and email alerts. Well worth the money.
Easy to setup and configure manual is vary easy to fallow all steps. Have only use 6 cameras so far quite happy with day and night pictures quality ambient light would be required as in complete darkness it not vary clear bit nit too bad still recognisable nice app to see live and recording your mobil app via Internet app is easy and simple but do grate job. Its come with 20 mater cable for each cameras. I would say its good product for the price I payed
This cctv set includes 6 2MP HD cameras so I get great coverage around the entire property. The system can however have 8 attached so if more are needed then they can be added.
The cameras are wired and also need screwed to the wall where they stay very securely no matter what the weather. The vision is great day or night due to the infrared capabilities.
I have connected the system using both my mobile and also an email notification system so I can get alerts whenever any motion has been detected. This is a quick and simple process to fully set up and install the system fully.
A hard drive is needed separately and this can be installed inside of the DVR box. This is easy todo and means that footage can be stored and watched back later.
