Compact and lightweight 18V LXT Li-Ion Cordless Top Handle Jig Saw
The DJV180Z is a powerful 18V jigsaw, featuring toolless, push-in lock system, enabling extremely quick blade changes. It has 3 orbital settings, plus straight cutting with a powerful motor for use on a variety of materials. Variable speed enables smooth and powerful cutting at a high speed of up to 2,600 strokes per minute.
Bevel cuts up to 45 degrees left or right and a positive stop at 90 degrees for solid cutting performance. Die cast base is of heavy duty aluminium to increase durability and maximise the tool life. It has a large trigger switch for easy operation with a gloved hand, built in LED light and a sawdust blowing feature. Rubber dust seal at the rod and retainer shuts out dust.

The newer version which has a digital start button thing I have also used and everyone agrees that this uk built older type with simple trigger model is better. Very beefy and powerful in the hand. Thank you makita
While not as good as the brushless version, if you’re looking for a solid sire jigsaw this is a winner.
Touch, and hardwearing, I worked my last one to destruction in 5 years of near daily use. Great value.

Ich hatte mich ursprnglich fr diese Stichsge entschieden weil ich die Akkus bereits hatte und dementsprechend weniger zahlen musste. Nach zwischenzeitlich einigen Arbeiten in einer kompletten Haussanierung und auch folgenden “Bastelleien” kann ich eine klare Kaufempfehlung aussprechen.

Makati is known as a good brand so performance is good. Downside on this jigsaw the bottom clear plastic guide window keeps popping out.

This Makita jigsaw is just as expected. Quality build and although expensive it is excellent value. Cuts are accurate and clean, and blades easy to fit. One small problem – the plastic blade guide (removable) is very flimsy and has already broken. I now use without. A carrying case would have been nice too!
It cuts very well and it comfortable to hold. I just wish it would blow dust away from the line I am cutting so I don’t get so light headed from blowing at the front of the saw all the time…

Sehr gute Sge. Die mitgelieferten Sgebltter habe ich noch nicht alle getestet aber erste Versuche sehen sehr viel ersprechend aus. Auch Schnitte quer zur Maserung in Sperrholz reien kaum ein. Hat ordentlich Power und mit Akku ist man sehr flexibel. Sicherheitssperre ist auch vorhanden um versehentliches Einschalten zu verhindern. Bin bisher sehr zufrieden damit.
Seit Jahren bin ich von meinem Akku-Bohrschrauber aus dem Hause Makita begeistert. Da grere Umbauarbeiten am Haus anstanden, habe ich meine uralte Stichsge durch dieses Modell von Makita ersetzt. Ich wurde nicht enttuscht. Kein nervendes Kabel mehr, kein Werkzeug zum tauschen des Sgeblattes ntig und mehr Power hat sie auch. Bisher bin ich rundum zufrieden!
Stelle grad alles auf Akku Gerte um, bin vollstens zurfrieden mit den Gerten.

So decided to go with Makita as all my other equipment is Makita brand, plenty batteries available.
Yesterday I used this jigsaw for first time, it is cutting like a butter so neat and quick, leaving outstanding cut without sharp edges.
I would recommend this to anyone, honestly.

Geht durch holz wie ein warmes Messer durch Butter. Die beste Stichsge die ich je hatte. Und vor allem kabellos. Ein Traum. Finde sie auch sehr handlich obwohl sie mit akku nicht gerade leicht ist. Als ich sie gekauft habe habe ich sie natrlich gleich mal durch 3 cm Eichen Bohlen durch gejagt. Mit dem pendelhub frisst sie sich blitzschnell durch und ohne pendelhub geht es auch ziemlich fix und vor allem sehr sauberer Schnitt! Sehr zufriede

My first time using cordless jigsaw previously had a black n dekker corded.
What can I say about this great product.
Well it’s much better than I ever expected.
The cutting of plywood was easy not even a slight struggle.
I’m using the 5ah with this tool.
The best thing is the trigger control,this gives you alot more accurate cuts.
My photo included show a quick cut that I made for a replacement seat.
Its not the perfect shape but bare in mind this is just my test cut I only wanted to try the tool out and get a feel for it.
Another thing I would like to add is the cut was much cleaner than I used to get and did not see the need to sand the edge because the cut was so smooth.
Not sure how performance will be when the thickness of board gets up and over 1 cm thickness.
From first impressions this jigsaw has more power and does not struggle to make a cut vs corded jigsaws.
Good value especially when you have plenty of batteries already

Brought for husband for Christmas. Arrived promptly and well packaged. Item as described in description. Brought as body only with no battery as had plenty at home to use. I was aware when purchasing that this does not come with batteries. Jigsaw it’s self is very heavy compared to some of the makita ranges
Le jour et la nuit avec mon ancienne scie sauteuse , j’ai dcoup mon plan de travail d’paisseur 36mm avec une facilit dconcertante , impressionnante avec le rglage d’angle de la lame , elle dcoupe sans effort , est la puissance sur batterie est impressionnante , une machine au top.

Die Sgeblattgeschwindigkeit lsst sich ganz einfach mit dem Trigger steuern . Die Sge luft ruhig ber das Werkstck und bleibt sofort stehen , wenn man den Trigger loslsst . Einen Laserstrahl vermisse ich etwas , denn der Bleistiftstrich wird von der Sge kaum freigeblasen . Deshalb von mir nur 4 Sterne , aber trotzdem wrde ich die Sge wieder kaufen .

Nach 3 Monaten Produktprfung kann ich folgendes mitteilen: :
Positiv:
– die Verarbeitung der Stichsge ist sehr gut.
– mit der Maschine kann man sehr genau arbeiten.
– sie liegt ergonomisch in der Hand, so dass auch lngere Zeit gesegt werden kann.
– Die Fhrung auf dem Holzuntergrund ist sehr gut und langlebig.
Negativ:
– Die Anschaffungskosten sind recht hoch, dass Gert wird ohne Akku geliefert.
Insgesamt ist es von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Bought this to help with my deck build, it was an absolutely great tool to use. Never stopped, I was cutting deck boards and 9×2 non-stop for days with a good supply of batteries and extra blades. Highly recommended as with all my makita gear you really get what you pay for.
Unbeschwert, schnell einsatzbereit bei voller Power und Przision, ist es mir besonders wichtig, dass zu bewltigen was andere Maschinen mit strenden Kabeln (Kabelverlngerung) im Einsatz vollbringen knnen.
Die Freiheit seine Arbeit berall verrichten zu knnen, wofr ich jeder Akkubetriebenen Maschine danke, ist fr mich mittlerweile das Nonplusultra.
Im Karton liegen 5 Sgebltter bei, die sich mit dem Schnellspannverschluss in krzester Zeit einsetzen oder auswechseln lassen.
Ich arbeite berwiegend mit den 2,0 Ah Akkus und
wenn es doch lnger dauert, nehme ich gleich den 5,0 Ah.
Die knifflig anzubringende Absaugung hatte ich noch nicht in Betrieb, weil ich fr den Krcher-Sauger noch einen passenden Adapter bentige und die meisten Arbeiten versuche Drauen bei schn Wetter zu erledigen.
Mir macht es jedenfalls deutlich mehr Spa mit solch Akku betriebenen Werkzeugen arbeiten zu drfen/knnen.
Zum Schluss hinterlasse ich berragende fr die Qualitt, Robustheit, Ausdauer, Nutzen und Freude diese Akku DJV 180 18 V Stichsge in meinem Besitz zu haben.
Flexibel einsatzbereit, besonders fr Arbeitsbereiche wo Strom nicht in Sicht und aus der Steckdose flieen kann,
ist eine Akkumaschine heute fr mich die beste Lsung.
Nicht vergessen schnellstens die erworbenen Gerte auf der Makita Seite fr eine Drei-Jahres-Garantie von Makita

Unsere Wachteln brauchten einen neuen Hhnerstall.
So fiel es mir nicht besonders schwer mit meiner erstklassigen DJV 180 ihnen ein schnes, gemtliches Huschen zu bauen.
Dabei fiel mir erneut die besonders erfreulich und sehr ntzliche LED-Beleuchtung auf, da ich so damit bis in die Dmmerung locker weiterarbeiten konnte.
Mir gefllt auch die Leichtigkeit und Przision, mit der sich die Maschine fhren lsst, bei jedem durchgefhrten frei Hand Schnitt und hierbei habe ich sicherlich vieles allein der Makita zu verdanken.
Man glaubt es kaum, wie weit die Technik in den letzten Jahren weiter vorangeschritten ist, die einem das Arbeiten enorm erleichtert.
Ich freue mich wenn’s wieder Zeit ist, ein neues/weiteres Projekt zu bewltigen/lsen zu knnen und mir die Akkustichsge ntzlich, hilfreich zu Seite steht, wann und wo immer ich sie brauche.
Wenn’s wieder was Neues zu berichten gibt, werde ich euch hier weiter berichten.

A good quality item from Makita again using the standard battery (not included). It came with a selection of blades in the box.
It is light and easy to use . I done my job with it .
No cables, LXT batteries are powerful and long lasting and as usual with Makita it’s a well made and accurate tool.

La machine est trs lourde mais cela lui donne une grande stabilit et ne nuit pas sa maniabilit qui est excellente.
Sa qualit de fabrication respire la solidit.
Le systme d’attache rapide des lames est trs pratique et trs bien pens.
Les dcoupes sont franches et nettes et la machine n’est jamais la peine.
Le dessous de la machine est quip d’un sabot de protection en plastique amovible pour ne pas endommager les surfaces fragiles.
Elle est quipe d’une lumire led puissante qui permet de bien suivre sa ligne de coupe mme en extrieur.
La gchette est souple et progressive, elle permet de bien contrler la vitesse de la lame et de raliser un travail de prcision.
La scie est inclinable 45 degrs de chaque ct et la cl permettant de dbloquer l’inclinaison est intgre dans le corps de la machine au dessus de la batterie.
Elle est livre avec 6 lames de trs bonne qualit ainsi qu’avec un tube extracteur de poussires qui vient se fixer sur le ct.
Aprs avoir utilis plusieurs scies sauteuses, celle-ci est de loin la meilleure que j’ai eu.
Achete sur Amazon Warehouse, le dpartement des objets dclasss d’Amazon un prix dfiant toute concurrence.
Si vous n’tes pas regardant sur l’tat de l’emballage, on y fait de supers affaires.

Really like this. Excellent construction, easy to manoeuvre, quick change blade (lever), even a light when you are cutting. I didn’t use the extractor, but everything else is well designed and well engineered. Integrates with my 18v LXT battery system.

Used for 38mm work top, like the makita cable less family just need one set of batteries for it. Handy.
