Lieferung war zuverlssig und pnktlich.
Habe nun 2mal gemht und bereue den Kauf nicht. Der Rasenmher ist zeitgem und hinsichtlich der momentanen Lage eine sehr gute Lsung….kabellos,leise,effizient durch nachhaltiger Energie. Kann mann nur weiter empfehlen.

The Makita 460 cordless mower is a first class mower in every way . But it’s not a light weight machine in any way and having a metal base it’s heavy but wow does it do the job.
I have used Makita cordless power tools for many years and have always found them tough and reliable and my new mower is a great investment.
It does what you need when cutting your lawn it makes a great cut to the grass with a big adjustment range and having a large collection box a large area can be covered without having to empty it to often.
I have managed to cut my lawn twice with two fully charged 5 amp batteries and have been really amazed that the batteries still in some charge in them. The control box has an optimum setting which keeps the speed constant and this can make a big difference to battery life.
I would recommend this Makita mower without hesitation.
Die Bedienungsanleitung knnte besser sein. Ich legte sie weg und baute nach Gutdnken zusammen. Wobei der Zusammenbau der Haltegriffe recht einfach war.
Ansonsten Top Ergebnisse beim Mulchen und Mhen. Ich schaffe unsere 600 qm Wiese mit einem einzigen Satz 5.ooo mAh Akkus von Makita.
Der Mher steuert seinen Antrieb nach Last. Durch grosse Rder schn wendig. Wrde mir das Teil wieder kaufen.
Zur Langzeitlebensdauer kann ich noch nichts sagen, aber bisher hielten alle unsere Makita Maschinen sehr lange und zuverlssig.
Was mich an dem Teil strt:
1. der Plastikdeckel fr die Akkus ist so gebaut, dass er immer von selbst zufllt – das soll wohl so sein, zum Schutz des Innenlebens, aber ich finde es lstig.
2. Warum um Himmelswillen muss das hintere rechte Rad etwas weiter rechts herausstehen, also nicht in der Spur des Vorderrades laufen? Das ist kompletter Murks und wte gerne mal, was sich der Konstrukteur dabei gedacht hat!!! So bleibt man damit gerne hngen, wenn man auf der rechten Seite eng an etwas vorbei mhen will.
Darum auch nur vier von fnf Sternen!

Ein Top Rasenmher!
Er ist super leise, einfach zu bedienen und Platzsparender in der Aufbewahrung.
Abzug gibt es in B Note fr das Gewicht er ist nicht zu schwer aber auch nicht der leichteste.
Ich hatte eine Akkusense von Makita mit Ladeteil und zwei 6Ah- Akkus (kauf nicht drunter). Dann habe ich mir eine Akkukettensge (super) plus noch zwei Akkus (falls mal mehr gearbeitet werden mu) zugelegt. Ich wrde sagen (je nach Gelnde usw.) schaffst Du mit zwei Akkus 500 – 600 qm. Von groem Vorteil ist, da man mulchen kann. Ansonsten brauche ich nicht mehr. Vllig unkompliziert, lt sich leicht schieben, kein Kabel. Du bist deutlich schneller.
Habe 700 qm Rasen gemht und Birnen leuchten noch am Akku. Akku ist nicht warm geworden. Und hat richtig Kraft der Mher. Das beste finde ich so bald der Widerstand grer wird schaltet, der Motor sich automatisch hoch. Habe extra ohne Selbstantrieb genommen. Spart so eine Menge Akku.
Ich schtze mal doppelte Laufzeit. Und leise ist er. Ich wrde ihn wieder kaufen.
Simplement la meilleure tondeuse lectrique sur batterie du march. Un investissement, mais Durable. Je m’en sers en ce moment pour un terrain de 1500m2 , en fonction mulching ( install de base ), il me faut 4 batterie de 6aH pour tout faire, donc environs 750m2 par lot de 2.

Allein fr den flstermodus hat es sich gelohnt. Hatte vorher den kleinsten von makita, dieser ist dazu kein Vergleich. Fhlt sich an wie ein Benziner. Fr unseren kleinen Rasen ca 400m2 fast unterfordert. Habe die Mhzeit fast halbiert.
Mit seinem Gewicht lsst sich locker auf einen antrieb verzichten. Die Laufzeit ist hervorragend ( natrlich wenn die Akkus in Ordnung sind.

Wenn der Knopf gedrckt wird ist die automatische Drehzahl Erhhung ausgeschaltet. Also er wird nicht leiser, sondern bleibt leise.
Ich bin immer der Freund groe Dinge vor Ort zu kaufen.
Beim Rasenmher war ich lange am berlegen gewesen welchen ich nehme.
Die Entscheidung viel dann auch den Makita, da die Akkus echt gut sind und Benzin wollte ich nicht unbedingt haben.
Was positiv berrascht ist das der Rasenmher sehe leise ist. Aber sobald Leistung gebraucht wird auch laut kann.
Bin damit sehr zufrieden, ca 400m2 Rasen mit 2 5am Akkus schaft er locke
Makita sorti de nouvelles tondeuses batteries Brushless dont cette “Makita DLM460Z” et c’est le jour et la nuit avec l’ ancien modle.
Au dballage dj on voit que c’est pas un jouet comme l’ancien modle, le carter en acier peint, la carcasse, le bac,… tout fait qualitatifs.
Elle est assez lourde ( 25 kg environ ) mais trs maniable grce aux roues surdimensionnes, ncessite 2 batteries pour dmarrer.
Pas de batteries de fournies sur ce modle, mais je possde des 3Ah et 5Ah cela fonctionne trs bien. L’autonomie est trs bonne mais varie en fonction de la hauteur de l’herbe.
Le bruit est correct, bien plus silencieux qu’une thermique.
Il y a 2 modes ( 1 normal et 1 silence qui ajuste automatique la vitesse et le couple en fonction de la densit de l’herbe ), ainsi qu’une fonction mulching.
C’est une bonne tondeuse qui remplace sans problme une thermique donc plus d’entretien et de stockage d’essence.
Mich nervte es mehrere Jahre, den Rasen mit einem schnurgebundenen Mher zu krzen. Allein das Verlegen und das anschlieende Einholen und sachgerechte Verstauen des Kabels war fr mich eine Strafarbeit.
Meine Internetrecherchen zielten darauf ab, ein praktikableres Gert zu erwerben, mit dem “mehrere Fliegen mit einer Klappe” geschlagen werden. Das Kabelgedns hatte ich bereits erwhnt. Das Leeren der Auffangbox und entsorgen des Rasenschnitts gehrte auch nicht zu meinen Lieblingsttigkeiten. Hinzu kam, dass der Rasen regelmig gedngt werden musste, um unseren Ansprchen zu gengen. Also biss ich in den sauren Apfel und kaufte den nicht wirklich preisgnstigen Mher.
Und ein Jahr spter nach der Neuanlage des Rasens: die Mulchfunktion ersetzt den Dnger. Noch nie war der Rasen bei uns so dicht und grn, wie zurzeit.
Das Gewicht des Mhers strt mich nicht wirklich, obwohl ich ihn ber mehre Pflastersteinabstze nach oben und anschlieend auch nach unten transportieren muss.
Mein Fazit: den Kauf habe ich nicht bereut.
This is a quality product and I am enjoying not having an electric cord to worry about when mowing. It cuts very well and the mulcher works well too, leaving a very fine mulch that is not very noticeable at all.
But this mower is really an industrial machine and it is just too heavy for my modest sized garden. It is far heavier than the petrol mower my father had in 1976! With hindsight, I wish I had bought something cheaper. But the reviews of most of those were so poor that I bought this because it was the only cordless mower that I had any faith would work. When the enormous box arrived and could barely be carried by two large delivery men, I wondered if I had perhaps made a mistake. Now I keeping hoping will break do I can get rid of it. But there does not seem to be much chance of that – it feels like one something one might pass down the generations.
It works great going forward in a straight line. But it is a pain to turn around. It does not much like going backwards either. Going around corners is difficult. Just holding the dead man’s handle up is hard work and something I think some might struggle with. The effort makes my hands ache a bit after a while!
I have not had any issues with running out of battery before finishing the job but the fully charged batteries do run down quite a bit waiting to be used the next week or so. That means one has to charge them before every use rather than having them prepped and ready to go. And that means a small amount of planning ahead must go into any decision to mow the lawn. Charging takes from a half hour to a few hours. A mowingjob cannot be put off then until the last ten minutes before sundown – the batteries will still be charging when it is dark outside!
Trs bonne tondeuse. Maniable malgr qu’elle ne soit pas auto tract. Lgre, pas bruyante. 10 niveau de coupe c’est apprciable. L’option mulching (qui laisse l’herbe au sol) est top quand il y a de forte chaleur pour viter que l’herbe se dessche trop vite. Je recommande. Je prcise que les batteries s’achtent sparment.
Ich hatte bis jetzt einen kleinen Vollkunststoff Mher von Makita, war eher ein Fehlkauf,da er eigentlich fr ebene kleine Flchen geeignet ist.
Dieser hingegen ist perfekt,erkennt hohes Gras,erhht automatisch die Drehzahl,ist leise,einfach perfekt.
Wichtig ist,ORIGINAL Akkus fr lange Mhdauer zu verwenden !!
Das soll keine Werbung sein,ich habe einige Nachbauten ausprobiert, die kommen bei weitem nicht an den originalen ran.
Lieferung war schnell und alles heil angekommen. Der Zusammenbau einfach und schnell. Testlauf waren alle gut und die Ergebnisse gut. Knnte etwas leichter sein, aber das Gewicht stand ja in der Beschreibung.
I previously used their lightweight, plastic-base model. I had been really impressed by the cut, ease of use and its portability. BUT it was flimsy and the wheels and handle broke. So I have gone for the metal variety. Again impressed with the cut, its ease of use and how it cleverly recognises how much power to put into cutting grass when you go from short to longer. I was surprised how heavy it is, but I hope that this means it is sturdy and lasts a long time
Der erste Einsatz war gleich ein Kraftakt, eigentlich gar nicht Mher-geeignet. Schock nach dem Urlaub und den Regengssen der letzten Tage: der Rasen war eine Heuwiese, bis zu kniehoch gewuchert. Auf 7cm gestellt und los gings. Kein Hngen, kein Wrgen, er hat sich tapfer durchgeschnetzelt. Auch keine Klumpenbildung durch Nsse. Ich war im Mulchmodus unterwegs. Wo andere Mher (vorher war eine kleinerer von Makita im Einsatz) absterben und neu starten mssen, dreht der erstmal so richtig auf. Trotz dieser Bedingungen war ich deutlich schneller als mit dem alten Mher unter normalen Bedingungen. Ein Genu!
Das hat seinen Preis. Die Leistung wird frmlich aus den Akkus gesaugt. Fr 150m habe ich dann auch anderthalb Ladungen gebraucht. Mal sehen, wie das unter normalen Belastungen geht.
Das Gert fhrt sicher und trotz des Gewichtes leichtgngig. Ein wenig strend ist der rechts etwas weit abstehende Hebel.
Ein kleines Manko ist die Bedienungsanleitung. Die htte klarer sein knnen. Wobei nicht viel zu tun ist. 4 Schraubverbindungen, 2 Klemmen, den E-Schlssel einstecken – die Akkus rein und schon kann es, mit oder ohne Korb, losgehen.

The mower is a pleasure to use after having used petrol driven mowers up till now. It’s so easy to push and manoeuvre. The mulching feature works well making it a quick and easy job to keep the lawns looking tidy. A quality Makita product.

First, let me say I didn’t get this from Amazon as they weren’t in stock. I am a bit of a Makita fan boy and have lots of their tools and batteries and am very pleased with them all. About this however, I’m not so sure. The cons: It is heavy and I know it has a metal cowl but it feels like it’s made of cast iron! Surely more use of aluminium would help. If your garden is a regular shape with few obstructions, then you won’t notice it too much. If, however, like me that doesn’t apply, then you will notice the weight. Especially if it needs lifting in and out of the shed. I’m thinking of building a ramp! Second point is the wheels and height adjuster protrude on the right side, so if you are trying to cut up to the edge of a wall you have to make sure you are going in the right direction to ensure the left side is against the wall. This usually means more lifting and turning. See above re weight. Lastly it isn’t possible to select high speed manually if, for instance, you are trying to suck up lots of blossom or hedge clippings. It only goes into high speed if is senses resistance, like long grass. I had to resort to going over the blossom and clippings with my old corded mower to get a clean finish. The pros: Battery life is not an issue. Even on long damp grass my largish gardens only need one set of batteries. The collapsible grass box stores well and works well collecting the clippings. It is a sturdy beast and will probably last well unless there’s an electronic failure. I personally feel that it’s perhaps a little too sturdy. Easy enough to push in a straight line but hard to keep lifting in tight spaces.
Great product, lower noise, good size.But if have self moving will be a perfect product.
If you’re looking for a lawnmower that will get right up to an edge like a fence panel there are better mowers out there but other than that, it’s quiet, powerful, lasts more than long enough to do my 52 foot rear garden twice with 5ah batteries, probably three times but I’ve never tried. The “tyres” on the wheels are a bit naff but I’m being picky.
Easy to assemble and start, cut well (on first cut of the year) using the eco button, helps battery last longer. Was concerned it wouldn’t get around my garden on one set of batteries but lasted approx 35-40 minutes with a little battery life to go. A good solid machine and easy to use.

I have a collection of Makita battery powered tools in the workshop, and I recently took a gamble on their 36v hedge trimmer, That worked very well indeed, making light work of a couple of long hedges and giving really good battery time, so I thought I’d try their mower. I went for this model as a review of one of the cheaper ones implied that one didn’t have much grunt, and I’m well pleased. This one did the whole garden on just one replacement of the batteries (I already had four batteries and a double charger in place for the other tools) and it really ploughed through the weeds that had built up. I have a dodgy hip at the moment and being able to mostly just push forward and steer my way round, rather than the constant stopping and reversing out of corners with the mains machine, was a huge benefit.
This is a heavy machine though, much heavier than my mains machine, which surprised me. Not a problem, but be aware of that if you have to carry it up and down steps. On the lawn, the weight is actually a good thing. Also, you will have to factor in the cost of batteries and a charge if you don’t already have them. Four batteries (so you have backup ready charged) and a twin charger will cost around 300 from various suppliers here.
Only used it once so far, but seems pretty solidly built and I would expect it to last as well as the rest of the Makita kit I’ve bought. Definitely a go-to brand for me these days.
Seems about the same power as the Honda petrol (2.9 kW) but the rated power is only 1.4 kW.
Incidentally it is quite difficult to find the actual power of these battery mowers – one German manufacturer’s tech dept actually admitted that this is because most of them are very weak. Some even quote the power in Volts which is rubbish – you need the volts x amps for power.
Update – I tried this mulch function – my previous mower didn’t have this. So for the last 35 years, like a sucker, I have been lugging heavy grass bags to the waste recycling bin. Now it just seems to disappear like magic- amazing.
Das Gert luft sehr angenehm. Die Angaben zur Laufzueit, bzw. Quadratmetern sind realistisch, fr mich ca. 650 qm mehr als ausreichend. Zum Lagern wnsche ich mir eine Entriegelung um den Griff dann senkrecht zu arritieren.
However, tired of trips to the garage for petrol, storing fuel outside the shed for safety, and refilling the tank with the smelly stuff every time to cut our large lawns, I came across this Makita beast. I have amassed so many power tools – all Makita, and many genuine 5AH batteries, so knowing the brand well for quality and performance, giving this mower a shot had to be done.
Having tried this mower for the first time this evening, I am entirely delighted and gratified with my choice. It’s a solid construction clearly built to last, and the quality of cut is quite superb. Furthermore, it has a brushless motor with almost twice the torque and efficiency of conventional motors, and extensive digital features to manage power, temperature, and stall protection. I’d waited until Makita brought this machine to the UK market, at a sensible price.
My partner wanted to have a go, and she’d cut 2/3 of our 400m2 front lawn in no time, leaving me to hoof and empty the large, enthusiastically-filled grass box when full. She used to use a light, mains electric mower for our rear lawn, but the convenience of clean battery-powered cordless has converted her as-well – despite the increased weight from her former mower.
She did comment about the pull force required on the trigger bar, but she’s of slighter build than myself and I don’t even notice it. Maybe a little something to consider if you have large lawns and weak hands, but certainly not excessive and I don’t notice it at-all.
I was sceptical about the battery-powered performance, but needn’t have been. Our front and back lawns done on a single pair of 5AH batteries and never looked so neat.
On a final note, Makita offer free 3-year warranty on this machine if you register your product within 30 days of purchase. Notably, all petrol-powered products are excluded from this offer.
I therefore have no hesitation recommending this particular Makita model, particularly if you already own Makita battery-powered tools to leverage shared batteries and charger(s), and another quality appliance worthy of your toolshed.
Je conseille un chargeur double pour un rechargement plus rapide (20min de charge) ,j ai 2 batterie 3A et ralise 600 m en 2 fois.
Elle n est pas autotract , mais les roues sur roulement procurent une grande maniabilit.

Fr unsere ca. 500qm bentigen wir etwa 2,5 Akku-Stze (5,0 Ah). Allerdings ist der Rasen dann auch bis zu 10cm hoch!
Wenn man hufiger mht (2 x je Woche) kommt man mit einem Satz hin. Ich mhe allerdings nur alle 10-14 Tage.
Dieses Modell steht einem Benzin-Modell in nichts nach!
Der Auffangkorb lsst sich ohne groes Gefummel” aushngen und wieder einhngen.
Der heben fr die zentralen Hhenverstellung steht fr meinen Geschmack etwas weit raus, er bleibt gerne in Hecken hngen wenn man dicht daran vorbei fhrt.
