Works as well as my old 2 stroke without the starting hassles, noise and fumes.

Good power, used on wet leaves and in difficult to reach areas. Much easier than raking!!

You need at least a 6 amp hour battery with it to give you a good duration of blowing

Perfect for keeping the driveway and paths clear. If your looking to clear the garden of leaves and debris then maybe look for something more powerful, especially wet leaves. But that said perfect for what I wanted. Definitely recommend.

One of the best products we’ve bought. Light and easy to use. We use it much more than the old cabled product. Does grass leaves, hedge trimmings, grit.

When I put this in my basket I wasn’t too expectant of it, although being makita it wasn’t expensive so to my surprise it works fantastic, it’s light weight and easy to assemble.

It’s takes a standard makita battery pack and last ages

Good bit of kit. Lightweight with good battery life. Easily collects up all the debris in my drive. Haven’t tried to use it for an extended time so don’t know how long the battery would last.

Only niggle is that if you are right-handed you have to keep the blower away from you as the air inlet tends to keep trying to suck at your trousers !

Product arrived on time, very easy to assemble (only one part to attach). Have other Makita products, so the batteries tend to be universal across their products.
Currently undergoing refurbishments at home so this is being used primarily to get rid of dust created by building etc. fantastic product, very powerful. Have used it in the garden to tidy up leaves etc from the patio, as well as removing the hard to reach spider webs in the house. Would recommend!

Great leaf blower, just one thing though – the tube that connects easily falls off so should be improved for future designs.

This 18V cordless Blower is built to the usual Makita high standards of design, materials, manufacturing and performance. It is ideal for the smaller jobs requiring a leaf blower. The only minor aspect is the lack of a locking device to keep the blower operating rather than having to hold down the trigger all the time. All in all, a great addition to my growing family of Makita 18V cordless tools

Does what it says on the box. 3 x power levels and does the trick so far, good battery life too

This small nozel As Advertised is Rubber and has INTERNAL PINS, while the DUB185 and DUB 186 Short nozels have External Pins ? So clearly we had to Order a Different Short Nozzel. The long blower nozzel clearly shows the External Pins.
For the cost of the correct nozel its not worth Arguing ? But they shouldn’t supply a nozel that doesn’t fit the Tool ?
The proper short nozzel is the same but with a different Ring as in pic 3.

The small Rubber Nozel included in this deal is for a DUB182 ? Not 185 or 186.

It’s great little thing it has three speeds and is only 95db on top speed.
Speed 1 will blow leafs away only thing I don’t like is that Makita should of put a locking button on it so you don’t have to hold the trigger besides that it’s great and is apart of the lxt range so I already have a battery for it as I use Makita tools for work

The makita blower 18 volt was my only choice as have an extensive range of Makita 18 volt tools, very good value as well.

Light weight, easy to use. Used 6ah battery, so no problem with battery life.

Works well, isn’t the lightest with a 4Ah battery but could be if I had smaller. My main issue is you have to lean over for the air to go directly across the ground, I’m 5’11 and the nozzle is okay but works better closer to the ground meaning you have to lean over more.

For what it is it’s brilliant! I have the batteries for my existing power tools, and this runs well on a 5.0a for probably 20mins. Great for clearing the workshop floor and a few leaves off the drive! Great purchase!

Good quality and good price for a makita. I was initially skeptical about getting a blower but it’s incredible useful piece of kit. A 3ah battery lasts about 15-20 mins which is enough to get the job done. Surprisingly powerful.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhen you inbox it you think – this is tiny! It is a very lightweight, one-handed tool, but amazingly powerful. It will easily blow leaves and garden detritus into a convenient pile for scooping up. Professional gardeners will want something bigger and noisier but for amateur gardeners wanting to tidy up leaves etc it is superb. We have had a Flymo corded garden blower vac in the garage for years and never got it out – too much hassle. This is so easy. Another Makita five stars.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Usershe blower is great but why do you recommend the short nozzle and the dust bag? they do not fit this model of blower. I’ve returned the short nozzle and using the bag on another tool.

I bought this as a present for my daughters boyfriend who is a builder. He just wanted a blower, not too powerful to tidy up jobs at the end of the day. Lightweight and cordless, perfect.
