This is my 4th router purchase and my first 1/2″ hand held model. Straight out of the box this is a keeper. A heavy, sturdy machine with bags of power and pinpoint accuracy. I’ve just used it to cut a set of dovetail joints on a Leigh jig which worked perfectly. Like a hot knife through butter and only using 50% power. The slow start function is a dream and takes the stress of the initial contact. Superb braking system once you release the power switch too. The ergonomic design of the grips, buttons and depth controls is genius. This is a proper trade machine and worth the money.
