The RT0700CX4 has a 710 watt, variable speed motor delivering 10,000 up to 30,000 rpm. High durability and accuracy obtained by using aluminium for the body housing. Smooth rack and pinion fine depth adjustment system for more precise settings.
Quick release cam lock system for convenient depth adjustments and base removal / instalation. The base can be removed quickly to instal other bases (plunge, tilt and offset (not included)).
Accepts 6mm and 8mm collets. Connectable to Makita vacuum cleaners.

Top quality bit of kit. Use mine weekly and it’s a pleasure to use. Good visibility of the cutter when working and feels good in the hand even after long periods, no cramp in my hands from gripping it for long periods.
An Amazon warehouse deal, seems perfect and finished off laminating jobs beautifully with a flush trim bit bought separately.
Nice size and extremely easy set up and use.
I recommend the kit with the additional bases – plunge base is the most useful one. You can switch bases, but they all feel solid.
I’m thinking about buying a second one (without extra bases this time), then I can leave the other one permanently built in the router table I made.
Good tool, needs a box to keep it in which this didn’t.
