DC jack allows compatibility with Li-ion LXT slide type batteries if used with a USB adapter (not included).

Tool is a great deal for what I do it’s indespencable and I found a way to get two batteries charger and drill and impact driver and bag for 102.00$ 12 volt 1.5ah. rather than one battery one charge for 69.00 it’s like I got the drill and driver free
