This is perfect, in comparison to one I owned prior which did nothing but let water in.
I decided to take the plunge an buy a higher end one an I do not regret it! It’s great quality and feels nice, doesn’t let any water in at all, the pockets are strangely high up but I got used to that pretty quickly
– Truely waterproof
– Lightweight yet durable
– Utterly stylish
– Very well made
– Great customisation (cuffs, hem, hood)
– Nice spacious hood
– Ideal breathability
A better option can’t be recommended if you are looking for a lightweight and fully waterproof hooded windbreaker that will allow your body to breath if you are highly active. Would also have to say to order one size larger than you might usually do for that extra bit of room as the jacket has an athletic fit. At 6’1, 75kg I ordered a Large and it is perfect!

Pretty light and breathable, especially with the ‘pit zips’ open.

Ansonsten klare Kaufempfehlung

A light, waterproof jacket. Kept me dry in pouring rain. Handy for summer when hot and raining as well.

After the rather abject weather we’ve had recently, I have been caught short with a rain coat from another brand that just was not up to the task. After getting a recommendation of Marmot, I looked at the options and went for this ‘evo dry’ jacket. I prefer a lighter jacket (not too much fleece as outside of <0-degrees I get too hot after walking for a few mins) so having checked out the images and description I went for this.
I am so pleased I did!
This jacket is top quality, looks amazing (got a 'wow'from my wife... that is something), and when I tested it recently in heavy rain it did its job superbly.
A good friend has already bought one after seeing it and realised his was quite simply not good enough in the wet.
It's not the cheapest... but you get what you pay for in this case, so if you genuinely want to stay dry and look darned good in the process, it will not steer you wrong.
