I bought this because I keep forgetting to take my keys with me. I live in a retirement home and sometimes staff are there with a spare key. Out of hours, a contractor has to come out therefore it was better for me to keep a key outside the front door. This one is excellent value for money. Solid dependable box to put key in and safe
Got this for a neighbour as its necessary for Apartment living, can easily fit up to 3 keys loose inside the box, but need only the one for Front Door.
Nearly all the Apartments in my Block have these or similiar as its so easy to get locked out by the front door closing from wind or forgetting the Key.
Installation is easy as all you do is mark the hole positions, Drill and the rail plugs and screws come with the lock box, once drilled correctly the Box is held on the wall Tight. And the Combination lock can be easily set for a personal combination.
Although a 5 star product, a Determined Burgler could get the box off the wall and opened, but this would take time and noise, so much that someone would see or hear it happening.
It does the Job for its purpose.

Bought this for my dads flat so we could keep a spare key outside as he was always forgetting to take a key with him. Easy to install and set up a personal number. Easy to use
Little disappointed
I was astonished at how small it was inside
While I should have have checked before it was fitted, the advertised photo shows more than 4 keys comfortably stored. My small brass ring holding 1 set of 4 normal keys, barely fits!
Having said that, it’s probably the best known style and make used in the UK, and renowned for being impenetrable.
Sturdy small keysafe.
Slightly small for 1 x Yale key + 1x small deadlock key. However, by putting the keys on a small ring, with no fob, they fit into the box quite easily.
I had no trouble fitting it, using standard red plugs and drilling as small a hole as the plugs will fit; this made the screws very tight. The screws supplied are long enough to go through render into the brick/block behind.
It’s a solid and well-made box. A bit fiddly to open and will be difficult in poor light – but that may be a problem with my eyesight.

Cool key safe
This is great. Didn’t know such a thing existed until I saw one attached to some railings the other day. I’m paranoid about forgetting my house keys and getting locked out of my home. Now I have one of these in my gas meter cupboard I feel really confident that if I lost my keys or was away and needed someone else to get in I could deal with it without any problem. Peace of mind – great!

Was relatively easy to install to install. Very convenient and sturdy. Just need a No. 8 Drill Bit. Screws supplied but no Raw Plugs. Raw Plug size also an 8. Easy to change the Combination Numbers on it.

Good Size Key Safe
The keysafe size is very good compared to some of them you find on the market. It looks and feels very sturdy but the open lever is temperamental, we have learned the trick to do it properly, not sure it’s just this piece or all of them are made like these. You just need to get used to it.
This seems to be well made and durable but only just installed so too early to comment on how weatherproof and durable it is. Disappointing however that no wall plugs were supplied with the 4 screws – it would seem likely that in the majority of occasions these key boxes will be fixed to a masonry wall. Only 4 stars awarded as a result.
Just what we needed
Pleased with this. Easy to use and change the combination. We use it for occasional use. I’m not sure that I would use it to keep the key in permanently, but that’s more my wariness, rather than the products suitability.

Compact and affordable but installation not flexible
Handy to have. Code easy to change and select but I find the lever to open the door a bit small. There are no slotted holes on the back so you need very precise drilling skills when installing on brick or similar walls. There is only about 1mm leeway per hole if you want all 4 holes to align with your wall plugs.

I’ve been using this for the last year and i am very happy how its held up to the weather. We’ve only had one problem with it when the door covering the numbers wouldn’t open, but a little oil sorted that straight out, it was caused by someone leaving the little cover open in the rain – so totally avoidable and not a manufacturing issue.

Safe and secure
I live in a block private flats where we have had these key safes installed for some 5 years. I have bought this new one on the rear of my flat so that emergency services have access their as well as the main entrance. They are easy to install and as our experience of our existing safes shows they are secure and reliable

With all the directions followed, this works perfectly. You do have to rely on others to scramble up the numbers again after they replace the key but nothing is perfect. It was easy to set the code and easy to install.

Installed in just a few minutes and it is very easy to set the combination. This is a replacement for a previous one just the same for which the combination was forgotten and it took several goes with a disc cutter and heavy hammer to break that open so it’s pretty sturdy.

Great keysafe
I have bought a couple of these for various places as they are fab. Sturdy, robust and very safe. Only thing I would stay is if you are putting up in a rural beach location it did need some WD40 to keep it loosen up.
Industry Standard
Personally I don’t think you can do better than these; they are pretty much the industry standard. The rawl plugs were not quite up to what I felt was needed and so used some better ones of my own. Changing the code is straight forward. Enough space inside for a couple of keys but only a thin fob. Would definitely recommend.

Where to put i
As with most products you have to Mount to a wall there was no guide but I made my own drilled the holes and everything fitted fine. Not sure how secure it is and locating it into a safe place would be my concern.
