Had ir over a year now it works great. Motion detection is accurate. Time allows light to come on for a very short period if preferred. Working faultlessly, excellent product!
Easy to set up on garage door covers up to 10 m away really bright ligh
Well built and easy to install. Replaced my old 400Watt halogen security light with this one and it was equivalent light output of the old one with less power usage. Push button setting for light mode and timer which makes it even easier to set up rather than the small fiddly rotational switches on others. Highly recommended.

Unlike some really cheap PIRs this one comes with a reasonable length of cable, and more importantly the earth wire is actually connected to the metal body.
Minor criticism is that the daylight/dark mode is set by an on/off switch, and is not adjustable to a particular light level with a rotary dial, as many are.

Nothing bad to add, only 1st night but seems to be plentiful for my garden (parties) hopefully stands upto the bad weather time will tell,, will highly recommend buying another for my daughter’s house

Instructions on how to adjust proximity sensor not very c;ear. Power supply cable was very short which for an item that would be installed above head height was not good as cable length had to be extended. This needs some thought from manufacturer.
Simple to install – good ‘rectangular’ holes in the holding bar so very likely to fit in same holes as drilled for a previous lamp. Plenty bright enough to illuminate my whole garden (primary function is to spot where the dog ‘goes’ on a dark night). Don’t forget you’ll need a suitable junction box with which to connect the integral cable to the power supply. Motion sensitivity spot-on. The day/night and time settings are a bit counter-intuitive and the generic instructions aren’t as helpful as they could be – took three or four trips up the ladder to get things right but that’s (hopefully) a one-off job so I suppose we can forgive them.
I like the easy adjustment of the angle and height of the sensor.

Used for back garden, perfect brightness for what I needed. The previous one was 20 Lumens and probably annoyed the neighbours
This worked very well at first and it has just gone down ever since. Comes on sometimes and Motion detection varies sometimes at 30 meters or not at all. To summit up this is rubbish and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone
These are inexpensive lights for lighting up the alley way to my property and also lighting the garden when the dogs go out late at night.

Had used higher whatage versions on a precious building project, so was confident in the brand , but this was a slightly different model. However, it works exactly as expected, and is very bright. Very happy with it.

The product is great and gives out a really good amount of light for the size of the unit. The unit is fully sealed, so should keep out the rain and extend the life of the light. One ‘need to know’ however: I initially set this up relatively close to another security light. And when this one is on the night setting (i.e. it only switches on when it detects movement when it’s dark) there was initially a slight issue in that this one wasn’t turning on when the other security light was already on (it didn’t think it was night time!). This was easily resolved by directing the sensor slightly to the side away from the other security light and then everything worked fine. Another tip would be to not put two security lights too close together. Overall this is a great product. Would recommend.

It’s a nice bright white led light with a reasonable motion sensor. It hasn’t got the 3 sensitivity adjustments of most security lights but works fine.
My biggest annoyance is the size of the fixing bracket – this is a slimline light but they appear to have used the same bracket off a normal light, and it just means the light is just too far off the wall!!

Installed to replace a defective unit in my back garden. Works well, bought the 35w version and it gives good coverage. the sensor has a good range of adjustment so I was able to aim it at the back door which is on the same wall.
This was to replace security light that had been up and working for well over ten years but motion sensor stop working
So was advised to get LED LIGHT

Time and day/night selection switches make this item so easy to set up, a far cry from the confusion caused by analogue pots of old. Brilliant for price. You may need a junction box and cable glands, the supplied cable is sealed into the unit. Detection is a good 180 as advertised. Bright enough for private drive ways and entrances.
Well made and work well. Good adjustment on sensitivity allows you to set it up right.
Value for money – does the job in the garage
This unit is easy to fit with a built in sensor, it only requires simple three strand wiring via a switch. It is a bright, clean, light installed above the garage doors.
lights work well but I have it so that it points downwards onto the side path and have had to put silicone on the back of it to stop water from getting into the light fitting through the glass front fixing holes.
This was a reorder! I’ve in the past purchased 4 !

Very quick to instal (replacing a faulty light). Easy to set up and works fine. It’s very bright given the low power & small size but does the job asked of it. As to how long it will last, only time will tell. The previous lamp (also Meikee) failed in just over 1 year which really isn’t that good. Hopefully the longevity has been improved.
The light was easy to fit and although it has only been in place for a week it works fine and lights up the area I required it for. The winter weather will determine the eventual view on its strength and may be the subject of another review.
Well worth the money. Was brighter than I expected, and motion sensor even picked up the cat. I know that would about some people but to us it’s handy to know to let her in.
Had a little difficulty once the light was up it was on permanent. Asked a question on amazon and got lots of response. So manage to sort it. The info on the instructions didn’t tell you to take the gromit adjust then put back on.but all sorted.
Seems well made and easy to set up. The sensitivity of the sensor is not adjustable but I wanted the max range of 12 m and this works well. Give a good ligh

This is a neat, compact product which is pretty easy to install, switches on/off as it should and throws a good light. Great improvement on its chunky halogen predecessor. Very good value at around 10.
Really bright light, only problem is light constantly goes off even if no motion is detected. Has anyone found a fix for this?

Purchased as a replacement. It is important to note that the light only moves on one axis, up and down and not side to side. This was not a problem for me, as the 35w light is bright enough and covers the area required.
Although it’s a good light it isn’t as bright as I wanted. I installed it a few weeks ago and was straight forward to do as a changeover from an old halogen that had given it’s last glimmer.
Have now ordered a brighter one.
Brilliant security light which was easy to install. The senor works and the light itself is a good brightness to be able to see around the garden. All in all a good buy.
So good i bought another one , the light is more than enough to light up my garage for the security camera in there. I also have another in the dark cupboard and it’s perfect. Light doesn’t stay on too long as my last one . Nice bright white ligh
Very very good sensor light. Very bright and sensor works well. Have subsequently bought 2 others for the rest of my garden and garage. Had an electrician install all three. They had them installed in 10 min. Am sure if you are reasonably good at DIY you could install yourself. Would definitely recommend.
This was to replace an existing LED light which lasted less than 2 years and was sent back to my supplier for a refund as the guarantee was 3 years. In comparison, this light is significantly brighter which I would expect (this is 15W compared to the one I replaced 10W). Compared to my previous one, this led has better weather shielding to the elements, there is little chance of water getting inside the light fitting. It was particularly easy to mount and had a nice long lead, not too long but adequate length. It literally took me several minutes to fit. Also it just has 2 settings for the light (dusk setting so comes one at night when movement is detected and day light setting, well this comes on during the day when movement is detected). There are 3 settings for the length of time the light is on, 10 seconds (for initial testing), 45 seconds (which is what mine is set to) and several minutes for the 3rd setting. Less options mean less time faffing about. For me it works, its bright and seems good value for money.
This appears to be a well made and quite stylish light. It came with a decent length of flex to attach it to a jointing box and included additional grommets and screws/plugs to attach it to the wall. The functionality of the light is effective and bright , the light sensor can be moved to accommodate directional need. Despite the instructions the options to control sensitivity are limited to night and day and duration of light, but that appears to be sufficient. I can’t comment on durability or being weatherproof as it’s only been in place for a week.
Seems a good product took a while to set up to work as i wanted looked up on utube and got better explanation
noticed a lot of reviews saying water had got into light but as I have only just installed it I wont know til we have a downpour

This outdoor light illuminates the exterior well but has poor adjustment controls. Despite several attempts at setting it for night operation, I failed. Luckily, I’m able to switch it on/off from within the house so it’s not a major problem. It detects movement very well
Great light. Replaced an old halogen security light. The sensor picks up the dog too, so she can see when she goes out at night.

Great value for money.
Installed this to replace a 500W halogen lamp we have had for ages. It was easy to fit with the help of a waterproof inline connector. It is plenty bright enough and lights our patio as clearly as the old light. The sensor works well so all in all I am more than happy with the lamp.
Easily Fitted , light worked perfectly and the PIR adjustment is so simple with two little slides one for seconds on,
and one for day or night, so the PIR can be adjusted straight away without waiting for night time your adjustments

This is a well made quality item. The electrical connection lead is long enough to go through an external house cavity wall so no external connections to the floodlight are required. The rubber flap over the PIR controls make
the weather protection complete. This light is easy to install, easy to set up, and gives a very bright wide
illumination area. A very good value for money item. Recommended purchase.
Packing was secure, the item was weighty and my only issue was that as the unit comes hard-wired, I needed a junction box to connect the wires protruding from the wall, (which I hadn’t figured on), but this was my error, as because the unit is weatherproof, it make perfect sense to have the cabling already fitted.
When choosing which output to buy, I suggest that the 10w only be bought for the smallest of areas, whilst 30w is probably too much for what we wanted, so 20w is just perfect!!
Once I had the junction box and a small hole drilled and plugged later, the new unit went up easily and quickly, whilst it now provides more than amount light for the area.

Dazzlingly bright to look into from 10m-15m. Mine is fitted just below my upstairs windowledge.
On time adjustable up to 10minutes.
Light is sufficient to give good illumination up to a 30m spread at 15 meters.
PIR can be adjusted up/down, left/ right to avoid(or not) being triggered by neighbours.
24 hour review. Easy install (two screws – as expected). Suggest switching to the night setting (switch to the moon symbol – it was preset to day mode). Once powered on it took circa 1 hour to start operating correctly. Really impressed with how bright the light is. We live in a 3 bed detached house with a big 8 x 5m garden and it lights it ALL up upon detection.
This light was to replace a different type that was no longer functioning properly. The light itself is excellent but the sensor is far too sensitive. I fixed it to the wall yesterday afternoon and got it going as it went dark. I had set it for 10 secs of light then turn off. It then turned itself on about every two minutes. There was nobody there, not even a cat or a hedgehog. At one point a moth seemed fascinated and that kept switching it on but, on the whole it seemed to be being switched on by shaking leaves. There was nothing else. Tonight, if it does the same the it is going back as not fit for purpose.
Now, two days later it is working properly so it seems that it needs time to settle down after travelling. So I can now recommend it.
Worked for one year and one week after delivery. While it was working, it was working fine. Sensor had reasonably good coverage, lights were sufficiently bright (bought the brightest). Not sure whether will buy the same brand now.
Update: Customer support is very good! They have send me a replacement for free as it has 2 year warranty.
Unfortunately the first light I ordered was faulty but returning quick and straightforward. Ordered another which was received very quickly and works well, only 3 stars for weatherproof because too early to say.
Much better sensor than the old halogen light this one replaced, seems to operate from a greater distance. Light is bright but not blinding. Would have been nice to be able to wire it internally instead of using a junction box.
Easy to install as brackets have cut outs for screws, so I could use existing fixings. Prewired is a great help as you don’t have to fiddle with wires in the unit. I had a junction box just inside so easy to wire. Light is a little less than I thought but then it is 150w which is half of my old halogen. But a saving on electric as only takes 50w. Motion detection had a good range. Would I buy another one – yes. Seriously considering replacing all out other halogen lightswith these.
This light is on a par with various security lights I have purchased over many years. However, one feature that is particularly useful is the switch for choosing the period for which the lamp stays on following activation. With previous lamps, setting the “time delay” has been a matter of trial and error. This Meike light has a switch which allows the choice of 4 different precise time settings to be made which results in far less time being taken when setting it up. Only time will tell how reliable the lamp will prove to be.
This lamp is very neat and has more than adequate light output.The sensor was easy to set up. My one complaint would be the length of the mains cord,which restricts your choice of mounting places,if, like me,you dont want any junction box to be outside
This light is really compact and slim unlike the bulky halogen lamp its replaced, the power cable is already wired so all that’s needed is a junction box or in my case passed thro the wall and connected in loft. Just two switches to set , time and lux easy.
The reason for 4stars on brightness is because I’m comparing it with the old 500w halogen but it’s plenty good enough.
I bought 2 models, a 10w and this 50w. They seem to be exactly what I was looking for, a reliable, powerful and easy to install LED floodlight with good motion sensing. I had several LED floodlights ranging from very cheap Chinese ones to supermarket ones to brand ones and neither lasted more than a few months. These Meikee served me well and their support is awesome!
They are well built and it’s the only model on wich I actually found an earth wire for real, the cheap ones either don’t have one or it isn’t connected to anything.
Excellent product; easy to install to an existing outside light power cable with a weatherproof junction box (I was replacing an old 250W light on which the sensor had failed.) Motion sensor works well once set up to suit your needs. Light is actually brighter than I needed but that is not abad thing! I bought the 20W version too to light a dark corner and that too is excellent.Overall very pleased with my purchase.
This product was fairly easy to fit and replaces an existing halogen fitting. It doesn’t seem as bright as the 50w halogen was but does throw out enough light across the garden. The PIR sensor is quite sensitive and adjustable, turns the light on with our dogs but isn’t triggered by cats.
The screws supplied didn’t work for me. I drilled the correct size hole but the metal plugs would only go so far and got stuck in the cavity wall / next layer of bricks. I drilled larger but that didn’t help. In the end I used nylon wall plugs.
The lamp works well and is nice and bright (30 watts). It has a good spread, it is angled down around my back door but I can see next doors garden illuminated and a reflection on a patio door many houses along.
I see some reviews saying light stays on all the time etc, they seem to forget this is a feature of these type of lights and similar and it is probably a brown out that has made them stay on. The instructions used to say to make them permanently on flick the power switch, a brown out also does this. If this happens and you don’t want the light on switch it off for a minute then switch it back on. It’s usually a feature if you decide you want it on and not PIR (if so flick the switch).
I ordered two of these lights, one did not work properly when installed on the same circuit as the other. Got in touch with the vendor, explained the problem, sent a few photographs for them to see.
Within a week they had dispatched a replacement, which worked perfectly along side the other one.
It restores a lot of faith when you are buying remotely, that customer service does matter and that this element is recognized.
The lights are also very good, seem brighter than the ones that was replaced though same 50W. I would certainly purchase again and would recommend to others.
After spending half hour up a ladder connecting it I switched it on and the light doesn’t switch off. However wait for 20 minutes and the light switched off and is now working fine. Should really put this on the instructions.
