Would gave liked it a little bit cheaper, but its a gorgeous product. It fit perfectly for my grandson’s safari themed first birthday party, but also to play with for many years ahead. Well worth it and the quality with Melissa and doug’s products are always the best!

We want to teach our baby boy the values of caring for animals from a very early age, so when decorating his nursery we knew this would be perfect. We posted a video and everyone (literally everyone!) comments on the giraffe first. They love it, we love, and we just hope our little boy loves when he arrives in a few weeks! Overall good but do think this is expensive and we picked it up in the sale! My daughter had been begging for one for years though so she is very happy!
It is beautifully made with a really fantastic face. It has a character and is a presence in any room. It’s stiff internal frame gives it a good structure, so it doesn’t collapse when hugged or climbed on (by a child of course, it’s not going to hold up my 14.5st @r$e).

Fantastic product and great value for money compared to other toys of this size.
Love the design and quality of the giraffe, although it can be top-heavy. The weight isn’t distributed the best, as the neck is quite heavy he falls over quite easily but I still love it.

Been on a prowl for this giraffe for a while, Selfridges sell a similair one for 300 while I managed to get it for 6 times less on an offer on here! The giraffe is absolutely gorgeous, very realistic and my 2.5year old now officially has a favourite toy. The only downside, I expected it to be really sturdy, However one of the legs is sort of hanging up and not touching the ground so it keeps losing its balance and falling over.

I bought this item for my wife who adores giraffes and after she opened it on Christmas day I adore them! The quality is top drawer as it feels and looks like a giraffe! It’s very sturdy as it stands up on it’s own very well.It’s also very cute(just like a real Giraffe)with it’s long eyelashes and gorgeous eyes.If I was shopping in Harrods I would expect an item of this quality to sell for a very much higher price!!(It’s also VERY tall,what’s not to love??)
The giraffe is a present for my Grandson. He will love it. The moment it came out of the box we were all totally in love with her/him! The face is so life-like with the sweetest expression . I had been concerned as to whether the giraffe would stand well but he/she does and the fur is very soft. Couldn’t be more pleased – excellent value.

Giraffe is sturdy and well made. It has a lovely soft texture to it and has a pretty face, which toddlers will adore. Will look impressive in any child’s bedroom.

This Giraffe is a very classy, well made and impressive item although not really a play thing for boisterous grandsons. It is very alluring and easily liked and its endearing appearance adds a feel good addition to the room.

Jenny the Giraffe is much loved. She is shorter than expected from the photos but I guess model kids are short. The Giraffe is 1.2 meters tall so not tall enough to go on roller coasters in theme parks. Jenny has been pimped out by my 7 year old daughter and has her hair done with clips, wears a chain around her neck and stinks of perfume. Not sure why Jenny is getting this treatment but I suspect it is her amazing eyelashes. great toy and appreciated by my daughter so I recommend. The main reason I bought was for the comedy of watching the post man deliver a Giraffe to my long suffering wife who hates parcels (even small ones).

Exactly as expected and beautiful. Obviously an expensive purchase but at a competitive price with other retailers and availabe – out of stock at all other retailers at the moment.
Once I finished unwrapping her, I straightened her neck slightly (there was a slight curve in it from when she had been pressed against some other parcels) and stood back. Good colour and patterning to the plush, decent stance due to the reinforcement in her legs and neck. She’s a good looking example, albeit with a rather lop sided smile, and she looks even taller than she actually is. She really dominates the area where she’s standing. Once she had accustomed herself to her new home, I introduced her to the rest of my collection of “mega” plushies. That’s five tigers in assorted poses, two leopards, two horses, one sitting up cheetah, one zebra, and one lazing lion.
I have been informed that if I get one more animal, my house will qualify as an ecosystem!

Bought for a Pals 60th Birthday (he loves giraffes & always wanted one as a pet!). Seems like a good quality toy though and is a good height with a cute face. My 8 year old daughter was gutted that it wasn’t for her! Looks like another purchase will be happening for Xmas this year!

This is wonderful – or so my wife tells me. She collects “static” (sounds better than stuffed!) giraffes – mostly of the glass showcase variety. So when I saw this in a local shop window it immediately became a must have item. Unfortunately by the time I had returned to the shop, the one that they had was sold. So I found the very same on Amazon for 20 less. And it is beautifully made, standing well over a metre in height and built of soft material on a well hidden wire frame, so that it is stable when standing and can be posed to a limited extent. It arrived well wrapped, but the form of a giraffe was unmistakeable! I thought it wouldn’t last long in the lounge before being relegated to a lesser location, but my wife loves it so much that it’s still there! Highly recommended.

Amazing my daughter loves it I brought it for her first Christmas but since we are going away christmas eve we coukd t take it with us so opened it and she absolutely loved it. She is 1 years old in 4weeks time, she sat on it and loves to hold it as she is in the process of learning to walk it is very useful as it’s quite sturdy. We had a little ride in it around the house a few times ( obviously me standing but she sitting) and I made it seem to her that it’s real and tiring to tickle her feet with its head when I’m holding her!! She absolutely loves this giraffe and so do I , I must admit!! IM very happy I got this product as it looks Beutiful wherever I place it in the house!! Bought this plush giraffe for my first grandchild s nursery. It was delivered before the delivery date and when I opened it, it was as it was described, perfect, we are delighted with it.
I bought this for my nieces for eid a few yrs back and they loved it parents say it’s quite sturdy even after hrs of daily play. So I went and bought another for this yr eid for my own babies just in case no one buys one for us. Plus the price increased plenty since I bought here first time round

Perfect. Bought for my 20 month old daughter to accompany the Melissa and doug yellow lab she has, its amazing! stands at nearly 5 feet easily, high quality plush, very well made and looks like it will endure a good few years of rough and tumble from a toddler. Love it so much I was tempted to keep it myself! Only downside was paid for next day delivery but didn’t receive the item for nearly a week. Its a good job it wasn’t required for a specific date.

Undoubtedly the finest (nearly) 5 foot tall giraffe imaginable. “Gloria” arrived well protected in a cardboard box and is of perfect quality. She behaves well and my son will be delighted when he is old enough to enjoy her. In the meantime, she provides untold support to my wife and I during middle of the night baby feeds. Recommended.
Lovely giraffe. Did a lot of research and decided on this large cuddly(ish) giraffe. I was not disappointed. Now a firm favourite with my little girl and loved by everyone. A great buy (although difficult too smuggle into the house up the stairs and hide prior to the birthday !!! )

Not disappointed and I feel well worth the money
Huge fantastic quality giraffe. See product info for sizes. This really is one of the best quality soft toys I have seen, free standing, great detail to eyes, Maine, tail etc. Our little boy saw these at Alton Towers and Chessington in the gift shops for 100 and these are a great deal for this price delivered. Even as an adult I think I’d quite like one of these to snuggle up too!
This is the second of these that I have purchased, I really love it, it is fantastic either for furnishing a child’s bedroom, or to play with. Excellent value for money and postage is included.
I bought ‘Melman’ as he is known in our house for my daughter’s nursery. She is still a bit young to appreciate it but does smile when she see it. I on the other hand just love it and beam when I walk into her room. He is fab (very large mind!) plenty of space required!
The toy is huge and takes up the entire corner of our dining room, which is fantastic as I no longer have to repair the broken plaster on the wall. This also makes my wife angry.
The photo listed alongside this item shows a tiny child staring up, admiringly, at the impressively proportioned giraffe, yet the product description insists it is unsuitable for children under the age of 36 months.
From this I can only surmise that:
A) The seller harbours a callous disregard for the safety of small children
or
B) The child in the photograph is in fact a convincing stunt-dwarf, trained in the dark arts of handling dangerous animals, like a 4ft stuffed giraffe.
I have been unable to establish why this item is unsafe for the under-3s. I can only assume a toddler might try to climb it, in a desperate and frenzied bid to reach the dried apricots on the 3rd shelf up. My daughter is unlikely to do this, preferring instead to use an upended coffee table. For this reason she felt safe in disregarding the seller’s advice and bought the giraffe anyway.
In summary, this is an excellent toy for all ages and if you’re considering buying a 4ft stuffed giraffe; this should definitely be in your top 5 options.
It’s well made, cuddly looking and of good build and hight. The whole toy feels strong and is a very good weight. I had to find a space to put “Patches” in as it is a big Giraffe (Pleas don’t forget to feed and water your Giraffe or it will feel sad), once I installed “Patches” in a corner of it room she was very happy.
Since I was presented this as a gift, I have used “Patches” as props for youtube videos and photo shoots, so it’s very good as a cuddly toy for kids and a prob for videos and photos. It also looks great just standing on it’s own (don’t forget to brush it).
Well for kids it is educational as well as its very life like indeed and looks and feels great which I am told kids like. It’s also very good at standing upright, that and combined with the weight of it, it’s hard to knock over which is great if you have kids around and is great for the Giraffe as lets face it, Giraffes don’t like to be knocked over.
All in all this is the best plushy toy Giraffe I have seen.
