I bought a cheaper nail drill for my daughter initially but it wasn’t great. This drill is easy to hold and use and very effective, so my daughter tells me. I am pleased as she is more inclined to do my toe nails in lovely different designs now it’s much easier and quicker to get the old gel off. Definitely recommend.
Great powerful little efile especially for beginners, recommend getting new bits as ones that come with ain’t great, slight vibration but other than that great for the price.
I purchased this to attend an Efile course and waa worried it wouldn’t be good enough for professional use but its genuinely brilliant. The digital display makes it so easy to use and it comes with all the bits needed to get you started. The tutor commented that this is just like a well known nail brand but with a different name!!!
This is my second drill machine from Melodysusie, it runs well, does not shake on the hand piece. I use it to do pedicure with I don’t file a long time each use. For hand nails, I think you should buy corded one instead of cordless.
Excellent machines but mine only last 6 months and then the wire breaks and you have to buy a new machine as they don’t sell the drill section separately. They need to look at at selling the machine and battery separately, I’m starting to build up a surplus of batteries as I keep having to buy complete machine with the battery each time.
I’ve been doing my own acrylic nails for a few years, and purchased this after my other cheap one broke. It is very good quality and easy to use. I think it will last a long time too. Very happy with my purchase.
Found it great. I’ve never used an electric file/drill. I’m using removal of gel and gel polish, mainly for personal use…..Family and friends. Saved time on soak off and leaves the nails ready for reapplication. The ‘wand’ is light and easy to hold. Looking forward to using it going forward!!
This is the second one of these I have bought. At 69 they are excellent value was 58 a year ago. The motor and spindle runs smoothly and the chuck locks perfectly onto the drill bit. I bought the first one just over a year ago and use it every day for work. The first one hasn’t been cleaned or maintained internally and did falter slightly recently but has continued working without any problems but I bought the 2nd one as I cannot afford to be without one. Even at 69/year that would be good value.
I have ordered several of these units and every time the same problem occurs on the cable to the hand piece.
It’s such a shame as otherwise I do not have a problem with the drill and it performs well.

I upgraded from the more basic melodiesusie efile to this one and omg what a difference! Much easier to hold, quieter, less vibration for both you and your clients nails. Would definitely recommend
This drill is the best one I’ve purchased so far , I’ve had 4 other drills from amazon that have broke and stopped working , this works for natural nails, acrylic , gel , nails tips and uv gel removal . Battery life is 10/10 and it’s very easy to hold and use
I have bought this for home use and very pleased with it. I do my own gel manicure. It charged up quickly and I quickly filed the top of my nails to apply gel remover. When nails were gel free I gently tidied up the surface of the nail. The small tool for around the nail edge and cuticle made an especially good job without any sensitivity to my nails and it made them very neat and a professional finish when the manicure was complete. I had good customer service with another MelodySusie product which had a product recall as they found a problem. Amazon notified me and provided an immediate refund. I was then confident about buying this item and am glad I did, its great value and does everything I need for my own home manicure.
I’m a part time nail tech & I love this E-file. It’s so user friendly, lightweight and the charge lasts for ages. If you are a mobile tech this would be a perfect for you.

This is the 3rd one if these e-files I’ve purchased from melody susie. The first worked for a few months then stopped working, it would work intermittently and cut out depending the angle I held the handset. I contacted melody susie customer service and was sent a new hand piece which worked fine for just over a year then the same problem started to happen, the drill would cut out and work intermittently. It was out of warranty by this point so I purchased a new e-file.
I couldn’t afford a more expensive brand e-file so had no choice but to buy this one again and I was glad I did.
When the new one arrived I could tell improvements had been made to the e-file since I first purchased this model. It felt more sturdy and better built, the screen now shows if it’s in reverse or forwards, the hand piece feels more heavy duty and also better built, less flimsy it has a good weight to it which the older one didn’t have. As soon as I turned it on it just feels different, different in a good way. Melody susie have obviously read the reviews and worked to make the Scamander drill a much better quality e-file. I’m confident this hand piece won’t break like the other 2 and will last a lot longe
i already had a melody susie stacie e-file and wanted a portable one and this definitely fits the bill, arrived fully charged good clear display and shows when in forward or reverse, great for beginners

This is by far the best thing I’ve ever bought for my nails. I’m self taught and always interested in learning new things about nails. I like to practice on my own and mothers nails and this E-drill is AMAZING! So light, powerful and sturdy! It’s a bit pricey if your starting out but it’s worth it! I would 100% recommend this!

The one I had before this were the cheap 15-20 ones and I could immediately tell the difference. However the first time I used it, it started off really quiet but since then it’s gotten louder and I’m not sure why
This is my first professional e file and my trainer and colleagues both think it’s the business for the price! Very affordable. It doesn’t leave that buzzing sensation in my hand afterwards like some other cheaper types of e-file, and the charge holds brilliantly. I would recommend purchasing some alternative bits to use with it, the pieces that come with it are a nice touch but not very efficient, I ordered some other melody Susie bits to go with it and they have stayed sharp and are easy to use!

Always use a Kupa nail drill but it broke , so I had to buy a temporary drill.
Would recommend if you don’t want to spend hundreds on a nail drill.
I have bought two of these, the last one I bought only lasted 3 months when the connection became intermittent. I contacted MelodySusie after sales and was contacted by Johnny. I sent a video of drill mal functioning and was then sent a brand new drill within days. Appreciate the support offered, not the usual running for hills and ignoring you. Thanks Johnny and the MelodySusie team excellent service.
Works good, only downside is occasionally the rpms don’t stay where you want them. For example I put it on 8,000 rpms and it goes up to 9,000 and back down again without me touching it.
I am a mobile nail technicians and ordered this nail drill as a back up while my other one, (which is a professional and much more expensive nail drill is getting a serviced).
And I have to say it is a good nail drill it does the job, obviously it is not as good as my other one but, if you can’t afford a more expensive brand and just staring out, I highly recommend it! I has low vibration, not too lound and battery is good too. It is easy to use and looks great and professional.
I bought it 7 or 8 months ago and I’m very happy with it. Works perfectly, and the battery has no issues so far; it charges -completely-, from two bars to full charge like in an hour or so. And it feels like it lasts forever!!
One thing I miss and I wish it had it is a base to hold it on in the table while I work, KiaraSky has practically the same rechargeable and it comes with a stand (more expensive one tho)
I recommend you guys to read the instructions (with anything you ever buy) before using the drill. It has very important information, specially if you really care about your materials.
The only thing that bothers me -a bit- is that some dust has entered the screen where the rpm is showed. But is only a tiny little amount of dust from filing. I use it almost everyday as I’m a Nail Technician (mobile), so I think that’s understandable. You know how much dust comes from filing.
Anyway I think that shouldn’t happen that’s why I only give it 3 stars.
The drill itself is very well made and easy to use. Even better is the customer service if something goes wrong!! I purchased a MS drill two months ago, it worked well to start with but then started cutting out due to a faulty lead. I emailed MS and after sending them details of my original purchase and uploading a video to show the issue, a replacement unit was sent. Outstanding!!
The product is great but has a very short life span … I have just received my 3rd one as I know it well and needed one in a hurry .I shall be looking for a substitute due to it lasting no longer than four / five months … my colleagues use Dremels so I shall probably go down that road , such a shame as it’s easy to use and very practical snd has a good battery life … it just doesn’t last long . I can’t afford 60 every few months
I use this product as a nail drill for patients with thickened nails and it is a great hand held unit used with the rainbow drill bits also from melodysusie, it keeps its charge excellently and does a fabulous job for a fraction of the price of marketed podiatry domiciliary drills. I am absolutely thrilled with it.
This drill is really good. It doesn’t have much torque but for the price is well built and silent. Only time will tell if the parts lasts or if it will self destruct in a few months time. One note: my item has a label at the bottom which suggests it’s made in Germany. Don’t be fooled, it isn’t. It’s a Chinese made item that you can buy from other online shops directly from China for less than half the price it is sold on Amazon. Food for thoughts..
Drill bits sold with the drill are pure garbage.
Ordered two of these for my wife’s podiatry business. Due to them being worked excessively the flex began to break down. The company couldn’t have been more helpful, a lady called Haishan sent us out two replacements without any problem at all, they were still under warranty but her professionalism and quality of service was second to non. Highly recommended as a seller, with a great customer service. 5 stars all round.
I am a Foot Health Practitioner and use the MelodySusie for my business. I do 2 to 4 clients a day and the nail drill is great. Very comfortable to hold and lightweight. The customer service team are wonderful especially Haishan who has been a great help. All in all no worries about buying this product, money we’ll spent.
Great e-file for manicures. Good range of speeds means it’s easy to set it low and work on natural nails without causing damage. So far I’ve used it for cuticle work and for filing/shaping gel nails and it handled everything well. The fact that it’s rechargeable and portable is a great bonus. The bits are easy to swap with a nifty mechanism to lock into place. I previously had a cheaper (also highly reviewed) e-file, also from Amazon, and I didn’t realise how terrible it was until using this! This is so smooth, easy and quiet to use in comparison. I’d highly recommended spending a little extra on this over a cheaper alternative.

makes it perfect for mobility.
Unfortunately I had a problem charging it but the customer service team were fabulous and speedy

I purchased this in November and have used it approx 10 times! The hand piece started to stop working due to a loose wire! I contacted them and they replied the next day via WhatsApp with all of the simple instructions for them to help me. All I had to do was send a video of the item not working and the lovely lady Haishan sent me a new confirmation email for a whole new nail drill! It arrived within 48 hours and I am ready to start again! Can not fault the customer service from Melody Suzie enough! Thank you
I’ve been taking care of my natural nails for the past 7/8 years. I like to keep them short & square. I started using gel polish a few month’s ago because I didn’t have the time to keep painting them every few day’s after they chipped with regular polish. So obviously with removing gel, you have to file off the shine then soak & I’d do this with a normal hand file. I also started using a hard gel overlay to stop my nails from bending/breaking which made soaking a bit longer because it had to soak through those layers. I’ve never used an electric file of this calibre before (only those battery powered, cheap ones that don’t really do much). I got this E-file yesterday & after charging for about 2 hour’s I used it to remove the hard gel overlay on my nails (which was lifting anyway) without damaging my natural nail plate. It saved me so much time. I re-done the overlay & used the E-file to even out & remove some of the thickness in a breeze! And i was only using it on numbers 5-7. Its no different from the (bulky) ones used at the nail salon’s. The Melodysusie E-file also comes with six nail drill bits plus 6 sanding bands. I got it in white & it looks so clean & glossy. Slim & compact too. So if your a beginner or someone who just likes to do their own nails at home & doesn’t want anything too expensive, I’d recommend getting this! It comes with everything you need & if you feel you need different drill bits you can always order later. Best buy for me in a while.

This little drill is great! I’m a trained nail tech and would recommend to anyone who has the appropriate training.
It’s so handy that it doesn’t have to be plugged in to the mains all the time and the battery lasts ages!
I use for removal of gel polish top coat, so can’t comment on how good it would be for debulking acrylic or hard gel, but I’m confident it would do the job well with the correct bit fitted for the job!
If you get shoulder pain due to hand filing like I do, this has been a life saver. My shoulder pain has reduced greatly, just wish I’d bought it sooner!
I would highly recommend this nail drill I am a professional nail tech and use this daily. It holds its charge and is so easy to use and keep clean. It is very powerful with a great adjustment for speed. I wish I had brought this years ago. I would only change one thing is that the hook on the back to be removable. Amazing product overall.
Five stars does not do their customer service justice, I raised a query and the next working day I had received a response and in two business days I received a replacement drill. I had hesitated buying this drill due to the cost however I have to say it is amazing! I am SO pleased I took the plunge. I’ve bought it so my husband can give it me for Christmas. I did however give it a test run and have to say The drill is very quiet and smooth compared to a 15 drill I’ve been using for a couple of years. I wish I’d bought it sooner now and is well worth the investment.

Having read all the wonderful reviews about the Scamander Rechargeable Nail Drill. I just had to purchase one for my travels. But when it arrived I couldn’t load any of the nail drill bits. So I contacted customer services. I have to say they were extremely efficient and courteous and within a few days I received a brand new machine which functions perfectly. Thank you for an excellent product and after sales service.
This is the 2nd nail drill I’ve owned, this was a nice step up from my previous very cheap one. It easily removes gel and acrylic with the right nail drill bits!
I’ve only needed to use it up to speed 7/8, but it does go a lot higher as well. It has forward and reverse modes, and the battery life is clearly displayed on the screen. Love the fact this is a portable and rechargable too! One charge must have lasted me 2 months (I do only do my own nails however).
I did find I had a faulty wire on the handle piece after a couple of uses, but the Melody Suzie customer service team quickly responded to me and asked me to send a video of the drill error happening, to which they sent me a replacement drill.
This e-file is amazing for the price relatively quiet on full speed and virtually no vibration in the hand piece at all, the hand piece is a nice slim design so fits comfortably in the hand. It comes with a little clip to attach to a belt or waist band. I had need to contact the company with regards to the e-file and their customer service was faultless.
So initially I left this e file a bad review because it wasn’t functioning as it should but after seeing my review the seller got in touch and rectified this , it seems my first one was faulty as the replacement is fine vibration is minimal and it doesn’t get hot and the hand piece is just the right weight …..I was really impressed with the customer service , not Amazon but the actual company that I purchased it from were fantastic

Really good for beginners. I have no complaints at the moment, I have only used it for the basics. I haven’t done and acrylic nails with it as of yet so I can’t comment on how it is with acrylic and gel nails.
Really good home use e file. I bought it for use on myself to see if I was comfortable with an e file. It’s lightweight, and sturdy. Easy to use, attachments are not great. But easy to get others. Battery once charged last well.
I love this drill! It’s an amazing alternative for those expensive ones 150+. I’ve had my drill since December 19 and then it broke after 8 months (probably due to me shoving in the draw after each client) but I emailed melody susie and sent them a video of what the drill was doing and they sent a replacement to me with 3-4 days! Via amazon as well which was great, especially because I had clients that week. I’m so happy with the service & the customer service team were very fast at replying and fast in taking actio
Purchased as a present for my wife who has done her own and friends nails for years. At first she was concerned that it had to be charged as she had always had a wired one before but after first use she was converted. AFter doing her own nails and a friends, the charge indicator hadn’t moved at all, it still showed fully charged. She’d done two more sets before the charge indicator dropped one bar. Easy to use and does everything she needs it to do to a high standard. It’s light and portable, what else can I say except its an excellent piece of kit.
I am a home visiting podiatrist and often work with very thick toenails. My patients are very pleased when I reduce their toenail thickness quickly and painlessly with a drill. This drill has been brilliant. It is very sleek and easy to use. It is small, but quite powerful, and looks nice. Podiatric drills are usually priced from 300 pounds up, so this is undoubtedly a good value for money. Unfortunately it stopped working after almost 6 months of use, luckily it was still under warranty. I got in contact with the manufacturer and they sent me a new one! There are attachments included, and I also bought some more separately from Melody Susie. This way, I can sterilise them often. I recommend extending the warranty to 12 months (just email the manufacturer), then it becomes a truly fantastic deal!
Fantastic lightweight electric drill. Excellent price. It’s a must have if you are mobile and travel from place to place. I would love it if there would be an option to buy a case or one that comes with it the drill but that is my only negative. Otherwise it’s super light doesn’t vibrate, is quiet and speeds up the process. I also brought the ceramic drill bits they are perfect too.

It has completely surprised me. It is an essential bit of my kit and is used daily. It’s so efficient and easy to use and does an excellent job.
Would recommend to this to anyone. Team it with a decent carbide safety drill bit and it is as good as some of the 200+ efiles out there.
I’m very happy with this e-file. I think it was a good purchase for the price. It is powerful does not stop during filing acrylic and makes it faster to do it. So far the battery works well , I’ve charged it only once since I’ve got it and I’ve used it already 4-5times and not half way off yet with battery life. It looks very pretty and I like the digital display which shows the speed and the buttery state.
The only thing which is a bit down side maybe is that during filing the speed changes on the display but cannot feel it would slow down during filing so don’t think it’s really an issue.
So so far I’m very happy I purchased this product and let’s hope it will last for long!

They are so so so friendly and extremely helpful, i just sent them a video of what was going on and they sent me a whole new drill!! I really like this rechargable nail drill. Easy to use. Nice to hold. Drill bits a bit basic but can upgrade to another set. The sanding bands were useless, very bad fit so i found them impossible to use. Will the M. Suzie sanding bands that you sell for 7.99 fit these drill bits or do they only fit the other 2 drill bit sets you sell for 29.00.
I cannot recommend this product highly enough. I have used many, many Efiles during my career and this is one of the best. I also have the table top version of this efile and I love them both! There is almost zero vibration even on maximum speed. The charge is phenomenal also. It lasts for ages. Perfect for a mobile tech. It looks sleek and expensive and the drill is very comfortable in the hand. I purchased this product a while ago and it has definitely been put through its paces I run a busy salon and neither this one or the table top version has ever let me down yet. Very reliable if I could rate it higher I would. You would pay a lot more for a drill far inferior to this one. An excellent purchase. Would definitely buy again.
Bought this to do my own nails during lockdown and very pleased with it , it’s much better than any I have experienced in salons , it feels more gentle on your nails but is still very powerful , no plugs or wires either & it clips onto your body so you can literally walk around at the same time if need be . I definitely would want this if I was a nail technician also. I would really recommend this product.

I’ve purchased Acrylic Powder, Monomer liquid, Kolinsky sable brushes, gel polish, this MelodySusie nail file as well as an UV/LED lamp
To go along with this MelodySusie nail file I also got the MelodySusie Carbide Drill Bits as the ones you get included are really only suitable for natural nails
I watched loads of videos how to do infills then had a go at it
I didn’t do too bad for a first go and my nails look pretty good
This MelodySusie nail file is just fantastic. It’s super easy to use and I found it essential to know what speed you are using by the LCD display. I can’t imagine using an electric nail file without the display
To remove the old gel nail polish as well as some of the old acrylic underneath I found using 10-11,000 rpm seemed about perfect using a carbide drill bit. It’s also great having a reverse switch so using my left hand to do my right hand
After the carbide drill bit I used a sanding belt (180 grit) to smooth out the old acrylic and then applied the powder/monomer and once that was hardened used the carbide bit again followed by the sanding belt. I also used a Crystal File to shape the nail and used a sanding block all over the nail to smooth it before applying gel colour
I used OPI Gel colour, cured under the Crenova UV/LED 72w Nail Lamp, then applied clear OPI top coat and cured again
Ok they don’t look quite as good as the salon would do but I’m pretty pleased with them
Definitely could not have done it without the MelodySusie nail drill. It looks and operates just like the ones the salon uses.. I can’t fault it and being so small and portable, with a long lead for the handset, was a godsend

Overall really pleased with this product but don’t believe I was sent a new unit. The box wasn’t sealed, none of them was and no film over the screen to peal off.

I bought this back in August and loved it. Easy to use, light weight and great value for money. I especially liked it as it was cordless. I had a cheap e file which i decided to upgrade and this was professinal looking and in a good price range, However after 4 months of use (roughly 2 uses a week) it has stopped working. It seems like the motor has stopped turning. I hope I can get it resolved as it seems like a good e-file.
After contacting the seller I now have a replacement as it was within warranty…cant fault the customer service got a replacement within 5 days of the first email!
I decided to purchase this model after some research on Youtube, I primarily use it for personal use – removing callous from the soles of my feet and some manicure work every week. The battery lasts a long time after a full charge. The tips that come with the set are Okish and does the job – The pen does get warm after a while – ideal for small hands (I wear Small size Marigolds) light and easy to hold, and I can change the tips easily.
I bought this efile to try as an alternative to my more expensive one that is quite big and has to sit on my desk permanently. I like this portable file as it means I can put it in a draw out of the way rather than take up desk space.
The price of this efile made me think that perhaps it wouldn’t be up to the job. My how wrong was I? This little piece of kits is well worth the money and is a good little investment. I shall be using this a lot!
The file itself is not too lightweight but light enough to know you are using it which is a good thing. The hand piece is very comfortable to hold.
I like the fact that I can see on the screen the speed the efile is running at rather than guessing like my other one. It feels good quality, no vibration, is quite and no visible heat up problems. I am yet to test how long the battery lasts but I can update later on.
As far as I am concerned this is a fab bit of kit for any nail technician either mobile or salon based. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is after an efile. What an absolute steal at this price.

Absolutely love this efile – I had a cheap one before this, and am finding this file is really powerful, adjusts speeds and so damn smooth, it’s better than the kupa I use in nail class! I’d happily take a kupa, but this lil light, compact drill has me absolutely made up and has halved the time of work. Slices thru acrylic like butter with the good quality bits I paid extra for, and couldn’t be happier for what I’ve got, for such a bargain price. I’d definately reccommend this to anyone starting out, it’s worth the extra 30 I’ve paid for this over my old 20 vibrating – handled bigger unit. I just wish I cld find a travel pouch for transporting it as I’m currently using my packing that it came in, and it isn’t going to last much longe
I bought this in June, I used it for pedicures only. In September the handle drill became faulty. I contacted the seller and he kindly supplied a new handle which works great.

I love this nail drill because it is so easy to work with and you can carry it wherever you need in the salon, as it doesn’t need to be plugged all the time.
I was on the look out for a new nail e-file. The previous one I was recommended lasted a year before rattling. I was a little nervous as this one is much much cheaper than that one but it feels really good. A bit lighter than the last one but feel sturdy. Much quieter, I used it at 15krpm. I also Love the holder for it. Will make it much easier for work as I can just keep it on me. Really pleased I decided to have. A look at this. I also got some of the carbide bits and they are amazing too 🙂
Time will always tell how well its made but I’m confident it should be fine!

I love this e file I needed an upgrade and a more updated drill I did my research and decided to purchase this one. I am so happy I did it is very light weight which i need and it is easy and comfortable to hold. It comes very well packaged and very fast delivery. It has a user manual which is easy to follow. It comes with everything you need and is light weight it will be easy to carry around, it is nice and compact, it has a clear display with rpm and battery power showing so you know how much charge is left. It doesn’t vibrate when using on high speed. I love this e file I am glad I chose this one. I would definitely recommend this e file.
It’s the best e file I purchased so far. It does not skip even on the lowest setting and is super powerful even thought it is portable. The portability is such a huge plus you can use it literally ANYWHERE! Better than I expected. Hopefully it will last longer.
I’m am very impressed with this. My previous efile was way more expensive so I was a bit dubious about a cheap one. I’m very pleasantly surprised! I’ve used it to remove the bulk of acrylic and it powered on. Hand piece is comfortable to hold. Unit is very compact so perfect for a mobile tech. Digital display is great. Very good value for money.
If looking for rechargeable efile at great price point look no further .. this efile has so many great points, it light,long lasting charge,3000rpm,no vibration on the hand piece, I’ve had many efile over 20yrs and all price points, I’d highly recommend this one if your on a budget it does everything many of the really expensive ones do.
I absolutely love this efile!!! I’ve tried dremels/nail files but either not have enough rpms or could be painful & kinda awkward to hold it.
As you can see, this efile is small,
lightweight, easy handle, power enough but no vibration! There is even a clip on the back!
I like the digital screen, that tell me how much power I have left, it also tell me the rpms. I really love how I can adjust and fine-the speed to my comfort and still get really good professional results.

I am totally blown away by this amazing little piece of kit. I wasn’t expecting it to be anything like as fantastic as it is but all I can say is WOW !! It’s sooooo quiet and light and absolutely no vibration whatsoever and I haven’t had any clients complain of heat friction. The screen is so easy to read too and I love the belt clip. I don’t know yet how long the charge lasts as I’m still using it on its first charge. The delivery time was brilliant too so all in all I can’t fault it and would totally recommend purchasing it because I think it’s totally underpriced for such a fantastic piece of kit for mobile or even salon based nail techs I also ordered the ceramic nail bits from the same company which I was using in the above video they are incredible too. So I am totally pleased with my purchases.
Wow… great machine.. so quiet even on full speed, has a clip on back so you can attach to apron etc, side holder for hand piece and rest for hand piece. Wanted something i could take moblie and this is perfect! Excellently packaged.. will not disappoint.. highly recommend.. such a great price for an amazing efile! 5* would give 10* if could!! I bought a cheaper nail drill for my daughter initially but it wasn’t great. This drill is easy to hold and use and very effective, so my daughter tells me. I am pleased as she is more inclined to do my toe nails in lovely different designs now it’s much easier and quicker to get the old gel off. Definitely recommend.
Great powerful little efile especially for beginners, recommend getting new bits as ones that come with ain’t great, slight vibration but other than that great for the price.
I purchased this to attend an Efile course and waa worried it wouldn’t be good enough for professional use but its genuinely brilliant. The digital display makes it so easy to use and it comes with all the bits needed to get you started. The tutor commented that this is just like a well known nail brand but with a different name!!!

This is my second drill machine from Melodysusie, it runs well, does not shake on the hand piece. I use it to do pedicure with I don’t file a long time each use. For hand nails, I think you should buy corded one instead of cordless.
Excellent machines but mine only last 6 months and then the wire breaks and you have to buy a new machine as they don’t sell the drill section separately. They need to look at at selling the machine and battery separately, I’m starting to build up a surplus of batteries as I keep having to buy complete machine with the battery each time.
Easy you use and clean. Long battery life and quick to charge. Compact and great value for money. 5 star!

I’ve been doing my own acrylic nails for a few years, and purchased this after my other cheap one broke. It is very good quality and easy to use. I think it will last a long time too. Very happy with my purchase.
Found it great. I’ve never used an electric file/drill. I’m using removal of gel and gel polish, mainly for personal use…..Family and friends. Saved time on soak off and leaves the nails ready for reapplication. The ‘wand’ is light and easy to hold. Looking forward to using it going forward!!
This is the second one of these I have bought. At 69 they are excellent value was 58 a year ago. The motor and spindle runs smoothly and the chuck locks perfectly onto the drill bit. I bought the first one just over a year ago and use it every day for work. The first one hasn’t been cleaned or maintained internally and did falter slightly recently but has continued working without any problems but I bought the 2nd one as I cannot afford to be without one. Even at 69/year that would be good value.
I have ordered several of these units and every time the same problem occurs on the cable to the hand piece.
It’s such a shame as otherwise I do not have a problem with the drill and it performs well.
Hi there. I started doing artificial nails over 20 years ago and have recently moved towards e-filing This is an amazing piece of kit. It copes with anything. It’s rechargeable, so saves power cables, portable and light in your hand.
I upgraded from the more basic melodiesusie efile to this one and omg what a difference! Much easier to hold, quieter, less vibration for both you and your clients nails. Would definitely recommend
This drill is the best one I’ve purchased so far , I’ve had 4 other drills from amazon that have broke and stopped working , this works for natural nails, acrylic , gel , nails tips and uv gel removal . Battery life is 10/10 and it’s very easy to hold and use
I have bought this for home use and very pleased with it. I do my own gel manicure. It charged up quickly and I quickly filed the top of my nails to apply gel remover. When nails were gel free I gently tidied up the surface of the nail. The small tool for around the nail edge and cuticle made an especially good job without any sensitivity to my nails and it made them very neat and a professional finish when the manicure was complete. I had good customer service with another MelodySusie product which had a product recall as they found a problem. Amazon notified me and provided an immediate refund. I was then confident about buying this item and am glad I did, its great value and does everything I need for my own home manicure.

This is the 3rd one if these e-files I’ve purchased from melody susie. The first worked for a few months then stopped working, it would work intermittently and cut out depending the angle I held the handset. I contacted melody susie customer service and was sent a new hand piece which worked fine for just over a year then the same problem started to happen, the drill would cut out and work intermittently. It was out of warranty by this point so I purchased a new e-file.
I couldn’t afford a more expensive brand e-file so had no choice but to buy this one again and I was glad I did.
When the new one arrived I could tell improvements had been made to the e-file since I first purchased this model. It felt more sturdy and better built, the screen now shows if it’s in reverse or forwards, the hand piece feels more heavy duty and also better built, less flimsy it has a good weight to it which the older one didn’t have. As soon as I turned it on it just feels different, different in a good way. Melody susie have obviously read the reviews and worked to make the Scamander drill a much better quality e-file. I’m confident this hand piece won’t break like the other 2 and will last a lot longe
I have had loads of cheaper rubbish drills. This however is so good. Makes a massive difference to doing your nails. Works so ell and bits pretty good

This is by far the best thing I’ve ever bought for my nails. I’m self taught and always interested in learning new things about nails. I like to practice on my own and mothers nails and this E-drill is AMAZING! So light, powerful and sturdy! It’s a bit pricey if your starting out but it’s worth it! I would 100% recommend this!

The one I had before this were the cheap 15-20 ones and I could immediately tell the difference. However the first time I used it, it started off really quiet but since then it’s gotten louder and I’m not sure why
This is my first professional e file and my trainer and colleagues both think it’s the business for the price! Very affordable. It doesn’t leave that buzzing sensation in my hand afterwards like some other cheaper types of e-file, and the charge holds brilliantly. I would recommend purchasing some alternative bits to use with it, the pieces that come with it are a nice touch but not very efficient, I ordered some other melody Susie bits to go with it and they have stayed sharp and are easy to use!

Always use a Kupa nail drill but it broke , so I had to buy a temporary drill.
Would recommend if you don’t want to spend hundreds on a nail drill.
I have bought two of these, the last one I bought only lasted 3 months when the connection became intermittent. I contacted MelodySusie after sales and was contacted by Johnny. I sent a video of drill mal functioning and was then sent a brand new drill within days. Appreciate the support offered, not the usual running for hills and ignoring you. Thanks Johnny and the MelodySusie team excellent service.
Works good, only downside is occasionally the rpms don’t stay where you want them. For example I put it on 8,000 rpms and it goes up to 9,000 and back down again without me touching it.
I am a mobile nail technicians and ordered this nail drill as a back up while my other one, (which is a professional and much more expensive nail drill is getting a serviced).
And I have to say it is a good nail drill it does the job, obviously it is not as good as my other one but, if you can’t afford a more expensive brand and just staring out, I highly recommend it! I has low vibration, not too lound and battery is good too. It is easy to use and looks great and professional.

Overall its nice I would recommend, just disappointed I didnt get any drill bits in the box.
I bought it 7 or 8 months ago and I’m very happy with it. Works perfectly, and the battery has no issues so far; it charges -completely-, from two bars to full charge like in an hour or so. And it feels like it lasts forever!!
One thing I miss and I wish it had it is a base to hold it on in the table while I work, KiaraSky has practically the same rechargeable and it comes with a stand (more expensive one tho)
I recommend you guys to read the instructions (with anything you ever buy) before using the drill. It has very important information, specially if you really care about your materials.
The only thing that bothers me -a bit- is that some dust has entered the screen where the rpm is showed. But is only a tiny little amount of dust from filing. I use it almost everyday as I’m a Nail Technician (mobile), so I think that’s understandable. You know how much dust comes from filing.
Anyway I think that shouldn’t happen that’s why I only give it 3 stars.
The drill itself is very well made and easy to use. Even better is the customer service if something goes wrong!! I purchased a MS drill two months ago, it worked well to start with but then started cutting out due to a faulty lead. I emailed MS and after sending them details of my original purchase and uploading a video to show the issue, a replacement unit was sent. Outstanding!!
Had a problem with the hand piece which was dealt with very quickly and satisfactorily . A lovely well balanced piece of kit .
The product is great but has a very short life span … I have just received my 3rd one as I know it well and needed one in a hurry .I shall be looking for a substitute due to it lasting no longer than four / five months … my colleagues use Dremels so I shall probably go down that road , such a shame as it’s easy to use and very practical snd has a good battery life … it just doesn’t last long . I can’t afford 60 every few months
I use this product as a nail drill for patients with thickened nails and it is a great hand held unit used with the rainbow drill bits also from melodysusie, it keeps its charge excellently and does a fabulous job for a fraction of the price of marketed podiatry domiciliary drills. I am absolutely thrilled with it.
This drill is really good. It doesn’t have much torque but for the price is well built and silent. Only time will tell if the parts lasts or if it will self destruct in a few months time. One note: my item has a label at the bottom which suggests it’s made in Germany. Don’t be fooled, it isn’t. It’s a Chinese made item that you can buy from other online shops directly from China for less than half the price it is sold on Amazon. Food for thoughts..
Drill bits sold with the drill are pure garbage.
Ordered two of these for my wife’s podiatry business. Due to them being worked excessively the flex began to break down. The company couldn’t have been more helpful, a lady called Haishan sent us out two replacements without any problem at all, they were still under warranty but her professionalism and quality of service was second to non. Highly recommended as a seller, with a great customer service. 5 stars all round.
Great e-file for manicures. Good range of speeds means it’s easy to set it low and work on natural nails without causing damage. So far I’ve used it for cuticle work and for filing/shaping gel nails and it handled everything well. The fact that it’s rechargeable and portable is a great bonus. The bits are easy to swap with a nifty mechanism to lock into place. I previously had a cheaper (also highly reviewed) e-file, also from Amazon, and I didn’t realise how terrible it was until using this! This is so smooth, easy and quiet to use in comparison. I’d highly recommended spending a little extra on this over a cheaper alternative.

makes it perfect for mobility.

I use for removal of gel polish top coat, so can’t comment on how good it would be for debulking acrylic or hard gel, but I’m confident it would do the job well with the correct bit fitted for the job!
If you get shoulder pain due to hand filing like I do, this has been a life saver. My shoulder pain has reduced greatly, just wish I’d bought it sooner!

I had hesitated buying this drill due to the cost however I have to say it is amazing! I am SO pleased I took the plunge. I’ve bought it so my husband can give it me for Christmas. I did however give it a test run and have to say The drill is very quiet and smooth compared to a 15 drill I’ve been using for a couple of years. I wish I’d bought it sooner now and is well worth the investment.

Having read all the wonderful reviews about the Scamander Rechargeable Nail Drill. I just had to purchase one for my travels. But when it arrived I couldn’t load any of the nail drill bits. So I contacted customer services. I have to say they were extremely efficient and courteous and within a few days I received a brand new machine which functions perfectly. This is the 2nd nail drill I’ve owned, this was a nice step up from my previous very cheap one. It easily removes gel and acrylic with the right nail drill bits!
I’ve only needed to use it up to speed 7/8, but it does go a lot higher as well. It has forward and reverse modes, and the battery life is clearly displayed on the screen. Love the fact this is a portable and rechargable too! One charge must have lasted me 2 months (I do only do my own nails however).
I did find I had a faulty wire on the handle piece after a couple of uses, but the Melody Suzie customer service team quickly responded to me and asked me to send a video of the drill error happening, to which they sent me a replacement drill.
So initially I left this e file a bad review because it wasn’t functioning as it should but after seeing my review the seller got in touch and rectified this , it seems my first one was faulty as the replacement is fine vibration is minimal and it doesn’t get hot and the hand piece is just the right weight …..I was really impressed with the customer service , not Amazon but the actual company that I purchased it from were fantastic

Really good for beginners. I have no complaints at the moment, I have only used it for the basics. I haven’t done and acrylic nails with it as of yet so I can’t comment on how it is with acrylic and gel nails.
Really good home use e file. I bought it for use on myself to see if I was comfortable with an e file. It’s lightweight, and sturdy. Easy to use, attachments are not great. But easy to get others. Battery once charged last well.
I love this drill! It’s an amazing alternative for those expensive ones 150+. I’ve had my drill since December 19 and then it broke after 8 months (probably due to me shoving in the draw after each client) but I emailed melody susie and sent them a video of what the drill was doing and they sent a replacement to me with 3-4 days! Via amazon as well which was great, especially because I had clients that week. I’m so happy with the service & the customer service team were very fast at replying and fast in taking actio
I am a home visiting podiatrist and often work with very thick toenails. My patients are very pleased when I reduce their toenail thickness quickly and painlessly with a drill. This drill has been brilliant. It is very sleek and easy to use. It is small, but quite powerful, and looks nice. Podiatric drills are usually priced from 300 pounds up, so this is undoubtedly a good value for money. Unfortunately it stopped working after almost 6 months of use, luckily it was still under warranty. I got in contact with the manufacturer and they sent me a new one! There are attachments included, and I also bought some more separately from Melody Susie. This way, I can sterilise them often. I recommend extending the warranty to 12 months (just email the manufacturer), then it becomes a truly fantastic deal!
I’ve waited a year to do this review because I wanted to see how good this drill actually was.
It has completely surprised me. It is an essential bit of my kit and is used daily. It’s so efficient and easy to use and does an excellent job.
Would recommend to this to anyone. Team it with a decent carbide safety drill bit and it is as good as some of the 200+ efiles out there.
The only thing which is a bit down side maybe is that during filing the speed changes on the display but cannot feel it would slow down during filing so don’t think it’s really an issue.
So so far I’m very happy I purchased this product and let’s hope it will last for long!
Bought this to do my own nails during lockdown and very pleased with it , it’s much better than any I have experienced in salons , it feels more gentle on your nails but is still very powerful , no plugs or wires either & it clips onto your body so you can literally walk around at the same time if need be . I definitely would want this if I was a nail technician also. I would really recommend this product.

I’ve purchased Acrylic Powder, Monomer liquid, Kolinsky sable brushes, gel polish, this MelodySusie nail file as well as an UV/LED lamp
To go along with this MelodySusie nail file I also got the MelodySusie Carbide Drill Bits as the ones you get included are really only suitable for natural nails
I watched loads of videos how to do infills then had a go at it
I didn’t do too bad for a first go and my nails look pretty good
This MelodySusie nail file is just fantastic. It’s super easy to use and I found it essential to know what speed you are using by the LCD display. I can’t imagine using an electric nail file without the display
To remove the old gel nail polish as well as some of the old acrylic underneath I found using 10-11,000 rpm seemed about perfect using a carbide drill bit. It’s also great having a reverse switch so using my left hand to do my right hand
After the carbide drill bit I used a sanding belt (180 grit) to smooth out the old acrylic and then applied the powder/monomer and once that was hardened used the carbide bit again followed by the sanding belt. I also used a Crystal File to shape the nail and used a sanding block all over the nail to smooth it before applying gel colour
I used OPI Gel colour, cured under the Crenova UV/LED 72w Nail Lamp, then applied clear OPI top coat and cured again
Ok they don’t look quite as good as the salon would do but I’m pretty pleased with them

Overall really pleased with this product but don’t believe I was sent a new unit. The box wasn’t sealed, none of them was and no film over the screen to peal off.

I decided to purchase this model after some research on Youtube, I primarily use it for personal use – removing callous from the soles of my feet and some manicure work every week. The battery lasts a long time after a full charge. The tips that come with the set are Okish and does the job – The pen does get warm after a while – ideal for small hands (I wear Small size Marigolds) light and easy to hold, and I can change the tips easily.
The price of this efile made me think that perhaps it wouldn’t be up to the job. My how wrong was I? This little piece of kits is well worth the money and is a good little investment. I shall be using this a lot!
The file itself is not too lightweight but light enough to know you are using it which is a good thing. The hand piece is very comfortable to hold.
I like the fact that I can see on the screen the speed the efile is running at rather than guessing like my other one. It feels good quality, no vibration, is quite and no visible heat up problems. I am yet to test how long the battery lasts but I can update later on.
As far as I am concerned this is a fab bit of kit for any nail technician either mobile or salon based. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is after an efile. What an absolute steal at this price.

I bought this in June, I used it for pedicures only. In September the handle drill became faulty. I contacted the seller and he kindly supplied a new handle which works great.

I love this nail drill because it is so easy to work with and you can carry it wherever you need in the salon, as it doesn’t need to be plugged all the time.
I was on the look out for a new nail e-file. The previous one I was recommended lasted a year before rattling. I was a little nervous as this one is much much cheaper than that one but it feels really good. A bit lighter than the last one but feel sturdy. Much quieter, I used it at 15krpm. I also Love the holder for it. Will make it much easier for work as I can just keep it on me. Really pleased I decided to have. A look at this. I also got some of the carbide bits and they are amazing too 🙂
Time will always tell how well its made but I’m confident it should be fine!

I havnt been disappointed at all, it’s amazing and just as good as expensive like for like models. Has a foward and reverse option
Its.very lightweight both the efile and the hand piece, no overheating and no vibration in the handpiece, it fits
standard efile bits
It’s very powerful and removes acrylic and gel very quickly it has speeded up my service.
LED display showing RPM which goes up to 30,000 but you dont have to use it that high
Hold its charge for a very long time

I’m am very impressed with this. My previous efile was way more expensive so I was a bit dubious about a cheap one. I’m very pleasantly surprised! I’ve used it to remove the bulk of acrylic and it powered on. Hand piece is comfortable to hold. Unit is very compact so perfect for a mobile tech. Digital display is great. Very good value for money.
As you can see, this efile is small,
lightweight, easy handle, power enough but no vibration! There is even a clip on the back!
I like the digital screen, that tell me how much power I have left, it also tell me the rpms. I really love how I can adjust and fine-the speed to my comfort and still get really good professional results.
Have definately recommended to fellow nail techs for a smart affordable drill.
