As my other review on the double pack of similar – works perfectly with Alexa and manufactures own app. Remotely controlled by voice / app or Alexa – set up routines / daily use etc and does everything the more expensive brands offer on their products
They do work great and look good but they’re really big size! If you put in the middle of the power extension it will keep 3 slots unusable in total. It keeps one on each side reserved because of the size otherwise they’re really nice and looking good

Good smart plug, I was having problems trying to connect it, once you down load meross app follow instructions on app to connect to Alexa, then it works on Alexa. I found the barcode didn’t work, after two attempts and a couple of beers all good, and so far so good, thinking of buying another.
I love these plugs! The plugs have an available app in both android and iOS app stores but is not required for use! The plug features a HomeKit code directly printed on the plug allowing you to plug in, scan and go! Very simple to add.

I have now bought several of these switches for my HomeKit system. They look neat, work reliably and if there is a power cut, they resume working as before ( other smart switches I have used need to be reconnected to the system after a power cut ).
I have recently upgraded to the new Apple Homekit architecture, which offers new advantages. Previous Meross switches connected to my original HomeKit instantly, but the ones I just bought wouldn’t connect at first. The tech support people at Meross were very helpful, giving individually tailored advice which was easy to follow. The key aspects were to reset the switch and leave it powered in reset mode for twenty minutes and then initially connect it via the Meross app, selecting the option for a non-HomeKit device. Once recognised via the app, you can connect it via HomeKit in the usual way by just pointing the camera at the Q code. It’s worth using the Meross app anyway as it allows you to do a firmware upgrade.
The only downside of these switches is that they are a touch too wide to allow two to plugged adjacent to each other in a typical four way power strip. I was able to put them into the first and third outlets, with conventional plugs in the second and fourth outlets.
Great switches at a good price with truly excellent customer support.
I have had many ‘smart’ plugs, and used them with varying success. One of the big problems is that the plugs use generic apps. which can be hit and miss. Step forward Meross. The cost was favourable, they feel substantial, and importantly, very simple to set up and connect to Alexa. I’m very impressed and would highly recommend
Had no problem with these sitting next to each other in a standard double wall socket. Setup is easy, and the phone app works well. I only purchased these to see how much power my computer was using.
Very easy and quick to set up on my iPhone with the Meross app. Was quick and easy to add to my Home app also.
Easy to ask Siri to switch plug on or off. Means I don’t have to get out of bed to switch the Tv off!
Apple home plug:
Connected to sky router easily. Easy to setup on/off schedules, seems to be no limit on how many you can set but I’ve not tried more than 3 so far. Feels and looks well made. I don’t use it with Apple home, I use it with google home, no issues.
Non Apple home:
I bought 2 power monitor non-Apple home plugs and they work just as well as the above. I control them via the Meross app or Alexa or google home.
This plug works well. However, my gripe is that your phone needs to be extremely close during set-up. I thought it wasn’t working when I first tried, as it simply wouldn’t connect.
Seems to work fine, but I really didn’t expect to have to download another app. I wouldn’t have minded so much but having to create another account with a company that I don’t really need to have a relationship with is a pain.
Easy to install and set up, and the Meross app makes it easy to turn turn things on and off. The energy monitoring info is really useful as I can now see exactly how much ‘juice’ is used on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. Integrates very well with Alexa.
When adding the device on Alexa app it said does it have a certain logo. Unfortunately not so I try to add the QR code on the plug. Nope doesn’t like that. Enter the QR code number manually. Only 8 digits the apps needs 11. OK then install the Meross app. Then sign up. Then choose the correct version socket. Basically the largest one you can get with the button on the top. It literally is huge compared to all the other ones I have but atleast this one has a groove to allow you to press the buttons on the wall socket and not rest on them. I then realised there is a mini version when adding it to the Meross app. Added easily then added to Alexa app. Just a shame to keep having to sign up to all these websites and then add the devices. Just installed it 5 mins ago and it is working so won’t complain. Bought if for about 3 or 6 or whatever it was to add it onto the 2023 echo dot deal. 10/10/2023.
Great product, easy to install. The app takes you through the process step by step so it’s pretty idiot-proof. You’ll be turning things on in no time. (Not applicable to the wife), she wants flowers.
So easy to use, really plug and play, even seamlessly connected to Alexa after asking permission. Never had a gadget that lived up to maker’s claims!
Set up was a breeze used 9 plugs & easily linked with alexa to make switching on lights as simple as saying on or off
Bought into the Meross system after fitting the remote garage door opener and not disappointed. I have 4 of these single switches and the 4 gang unit and they are all great.
I had to read the other reviews about which brand of smart plug to buy, and due to some diligence I finally decided to go with Meross and I am not disappointed, these plugs are easy to set up and work without any
issues. So, again I would highly recommend them.
These are great and simple to use, what would be useful in relation to scheduling is the option to setup a schedule and then invite multiple devices to that schedule – currently I have to setup a schedule for each individual device which is a pain.
Otherwise they are great – we have about 15 around the home
These timer plugs are so easy to install – and I am not technically minded – the instructions detail their set up process step by step & once set up, the times are easy to alter on the app where you control this. I now have 6 around my place and have already recommended these to friends. An excellent product!!

I bought 4 of these to replace the ones I had that stopped working. They were very easy to install, just download the app and follow instructions. I bought them to use with Alexa and they do that beautifully. I have had them for about 4 weeks now and the only small issue is their size. They take up too much room on an extension lead with adjacent sockets. It will be interesting to see whether they last longer than the ones they replaced.

These are ideal for Christmas lights, trees, etc. Can be networked with Alexa and also put into groups. So good I have 4 packs.
Everything was fine for 14 months and then both my smart plugs stopped responding to Alexa. They work via my mobile. I tried all the suggested methods to reset them but still they wont work via Alexa.
Work very well easy to set up and whilst pluged in they dont get hot like the cheap ones

Excellent buy this product. I can lie in my bed and if I’m falling asleep I just say Alexa tv off no need for remote. That’s where I have one of them the other I use for my kettle. I have added them to my Alexa

Nothing to dislike. Download the Meross app to your phone. Following the instructions within the app to the letter and it’s an extremely easy process. If you are use Alexa, just check the Alexa app and the devices will be bistable and ready to use in the same way that an original branded Alexa plug would be. Bonus is, these are much cheaper. What’s not to like?
Very well made and presented. Super easy to install and set up. Great value for money at less than 8 each – cheaper and more convenient than traditional plucg-in clock timers. Will probably buy more at some point.
These are a god send – I have them using the heat lamp and UVB lamp in my lizards vivarium and so handy when I can’t get back in time to put him to bed
Great product.very easy to install and integrate into smart home setup. Particularly like the widget to add into phone and dawn / dusk on and off setting. Highly recommend.
I use these sockets to control lamp lighting, tv etc. Great at the end of night when you are holding a baby and want to make sure everything is switched off. Same in the morning to switch everything on.
I’ve always used these plugs and find them easy to set up and use. I bought another 8 – one lot for my son and found that just one of them emitted a high pitched hum when turned on. The seller was brilliant and sent a replacement- I would buy again – great product and price.
I now have 9 of these units. I am using them to replace my original Amazon Smart Plugs as and when they fail. These are a lot smaller than the Amazon and have a large manual button on the top. This is s lot easier to operate if you have an internet failure that the small recessed button on the side of the amazon unit. You need to install the Meross app and link it to the Amazon app on you phone but once this is done it is plain sailing to install.
Very straightforward installation which takes only a few minutes uses. App usage and settings quite impressive. Be aware that the plugs are quite bulkie but they have fitted all the sockets I needed them to.
I found this quite nice, easy to install and works perfectly.
There is no clear instructions on how to download the App on the box though. But if you google the manufacturer, you will easily find the app.
I have bought loads of smart sockets and these are just the best. Easy to set up and very reliable. Ive bought many of them for my house and they work well with Alexa to make a good addition to a smart home.
