The Blackview A80 Plus is an amazing phone for the price…!! The battery life is exceptional and the quad camera produces great photos in any light. The screen is very clear, a nice size without being overly large and the fingerprint/face recognition security factors are reassuring. This phone has lots of storage which can be added to with an extra sd card if needed, it’s also unlocked so will take any sim card for any network. The cost this phone is outstanding for what you get, it has a 2 year manufacturer warranty, which is definitely a big plus…!! I personally feel that it’s much better value than some of the big names out there who offer the same if not less for a lot more money…..
My advice is to buy a Blackview phone, you definitely won’t regret it…!!!! I give this phone 10/10…!!!

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersThis phone looks like a much more expensive brand than it is. It is very easy to fully set up and can use the android system to transfer over details from an old phone. My SIM card fitted well without having to use an adapter.

The phone looks great and even comes with a nice clear case so you can enjoy the colour of the back.

The camera is great quality and holds up against my husbands more expensive one. It’s well made and looks strong so far.

The screen is sensitive so does what I need it to. There is a good size memory and all the apps and photos I need are easily stored on it.

    Great for kids or adults

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our Usersi bought this to replace an old Moto G Play. The new phone has a good clear screen, good battery life, quick charging and a perfectly adequate camera. It is very easy to set up, thanks to the built in start up wizard. However, the manual is very basic indeed and a person new to smartphones might struggle to set all the variable specifications. I haven’t tried out facial recognition and it does not have fingerprint ID, which is not a problem for me. How pleasing to find it is not loaded with bloatware and it has the latest Android OS. My wife tried it out and was so impressed we bought another one straightaway. Hard to believe it is so good for the money and I thoroughly recommend it.

Really nice phone competes well with much higher priced ones. only one thing that I find lacking is fingerprint reader it is very slow compared to other makes but not annoyingly slow. The rest is a pleasure to use. This is the second Blackview A80 I have bought, I got one for my Daughter and was so impressed with it I got one for myself.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersWas excited to get this phone as I’ve now had 6 blackviews. Started off well, phone looks very smart, but that’s as far as it gets.
Most memory is used by the pre installed apps, however there is a slot for sd card to extend memory.
Phone can be unpredictable, randomly restarts, sometimes during calls and sometimes apps close down mid use.
If going for a blackview I would recommend spending a bit extra and getting the A80 pro. Phone keeps freezing now. Volume when on loudspeaker is not great either.

Have now had the phone for two weeks. Would not recommend, total waste of money. Will be going back to the black view A80 pro.

Update, was contacted by customer service. Issues resolved. First class service.

Golden Review Award: 32 From Our UsersThis phone is an ideal phone for anyone who is new to smart phones, maybe someone who is quite old or even very young. It has all the key features as you would expect from any modern smart phone Including the obvious applications. Also it has the new modern Android 11 which is very good and smooth to use.

The colour, look and feel of the phone is nice very nice to be honest again like any new modern smart phone.

The only downside is that the Ram and Rom so 3GB ram is still decent so the phone is still smooth etc but with alot of use gaming etc you will eventually feel it slow down maybe not because you don’t know.

Overall this phone is very good with its dual sim you can use it with two numbers and the storage can be extended to 128GB which is a bonus

Anyone who was a budget smartphone for basic use this is your phone I would buy and recommend without any issues.

A great budget option - ideal for a new starte

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe Blackview A55 mobile phone is a great entry level mobile phone. The device runs Android 11 and has a 6.5″ screen featuring an HD Display. The battery is reasonable with 4780mAh of power and it holds dual 4G SIM Cards. The phone also has a decent processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, front and rear cameras and even features Face ID for security.

Considering the sub 100 price tag, this is a lot of phone for the money. It starts up quickly, runs well, downloads apps with ease and can handle day to day use such as browsing the internet, streaming and even light gaming very well.

I think for a sub 100 phone it’s great and it’s an ideal first phone for younger kids.

    Pretty decent budget handse

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersAfter using smartwatch from blackview I thought I would give it try with their mobile device, when opening the box I was pleased to see case and screen protector applied by manufacturer, device feel light and well made, it was easy to set up and also give option to transfer data from previous device. For budget phone it’s very responsive and quick, Camera quality great front and back, battery charged to 100% quicker than expected, having dual SIM handy when traveling abroad for holidays, am glad they kept option for external memory card. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase just as I was with smartwatch.

Value for money, excellent spec for budget device

Absolutely shocking. Very poor phone with slow WiFi and even worse occasionally. The phone is slow and frequently closes installations as well as shutting off and not powering back on at times. Would definitely not recommend and would avoid at all costs.

Update: Despite the review, the customer service has been excellent. Very impressed with them reaching out to me and trying to resolve the issues.

Golden Review Award: 48 From Our UsersThis is a budget phone but not a budget spec!! It runs 3GB+16GB which means it runs fast and operates very smoothly! It boasts a 6 inch screen with 1600×720 resolution!!! So vids look great! The phone is compact but has a big view screen and supports multi-touch!! And my favourite!! An 8mp rear camera and 5MP front camera means all your pictures are captured well!

    Budget phone without budget specs

I bought this as a replacement for a Blackview A7 which I bought in 2017 and which was grinding to halt – running out of storage etc. – as well as not supporting 4G. No complaints about the A7 – value for money and a good little phone.

The A80 Pro is a big step up and it works very well as a phone and on the internet. 4G is a big upgrade from 3G!

The camera is also a significant improvement although nowhere near the quality of the upmarket phones my grandchildren wave at me!

Very pleased – good value for money. Too early to say whether it will match my old A7 in terms of durability.

Bought this for my husband to replace basic mobile that was well past it’s sell by date! It took him time to get used to a smart phone but is really impressed with it. Battery life good. I’ve been one of the suckers who every couple of years suffered with an ever slower phone with poor battery performance. A perfect motivation to upgrade and take on a new contract. No more ! I’ve ditched the contracts and bought one of these Blackview smart phones and it is brilliant. My battery seems to almost never run out and it does everything my Samsung ever did but better and for a lot less money. My only small issue is the position of the fingerprint sensor which makes it tricky to operate if you use a protective cover of any kind. Do yourself a favour, break free of your contract and try one of these. You won’t be disappointed.

It’s a bare minimum phone only buy if you want the most basic of basics. Tesco should have this in their value range.

Crashes repeatedly throughout the day. I can only use one app at a time otherwise it runs out of processing power/memory.

Has to be restarted at least once a day because it stops responding. Several times I’ve thought it’s finally bricked itself.

The features mentioned all work it’s just that the internal hardware lets it down.

Full disclosure, I have received a full refund for a 5* review but I refused to return the handset without confirmation that I would receive a properly functioning replacement.

Their customer service while friendly, doesn’t respond well to enquiries outside of their script and only use pre-written responses (for English speakers).

    PROS
    1. Okay, I’ve had this phone for 6 months now and I gotta say, I’m impressed by its sturdiness! while it isn’t a rugged phone, the corning gorilla glass 3 is definitely living up to the standard. I’m so clumsy I’m always dropping my phones, on the floor, on stones, over a height of a meter mostly, and the only thing that got damaged was the screen protector, but the screen itself has endured, where my Samsung J7 pro’s screen cracked and gave out twice on me under the same conditions, this one is flourishing.
    2. The battery is pretty good, as long as it’s fully charged, I can go the whole day functioning with my data on.
    3. Storage of 64 GB eliminates the need for an SD card mostly, giving it the ability to run apps well.

    CONS
The camera quality is not bad, but it certainly doesn’t beat the Samsung J7 pro in terms of resolution and quality. Even at lower megapixels, my Samsung J7 pro still had a far more smooth and crystal clear resolution of both images and videos.

My charger stopped working, maybe it couldn’t survive me as I have a friend who also bought this very brand and her’s is still pristine…

Overall, it’s a good phone for a very budget-friendly price.

The specifications of the phone are top notch and handle everything I need better than any other phone I have previously owned. I also reached out to the customer service to ask some questions about the phone and I had an immediate reply that was very helpful.

The weight and screen size are perfect for me, screen resolution and colour quality is excellent, there has been no slow down using any apps and the camera gets great quality. Really just don’t have a bad word about the phone and wanted to give it a good review.

This is not a critique on the quality of the product RATHER What would it cost to produce a basic simple leaflet or an instructional video on line to show how to setup/navigate the various steps easily on useage of this phone ? Having just laid to rest a simple 12 year old mobile decided to splash out on this all whistles and bells type, but, being of a generation not so familiar with some modern terminology / meanings have found it frustrating attempting to navigate through various steps to set up. The screen consistantly more often than not switching off, clearing going blank in seconds . The unit itself appears well made and I am in no doubt that it will serve my main priority having now managed to list phone contacts . I have posted question on this and in general the replies suggest try this or that and thanks for their input, but on trying to get actual clear guidance have drawn a blank or to even find a contact address for this phone alas all to no avail ! In the past phone makers used to give a basic user guide leaflet why not nowadays ?

The first thing that impressed me about the A80 was how easy it was to set up. I just moved my sim and memory card from my old phone to the A80, switched them both on and within an hour everything including Apps had transferred! Incredible!
After using the phone for a few days I am very impressed – Android 10, loads of memory (no more having to uninstall apps to make room!) 4g, excellent graphic screen and multiple lens cameras (Sony technology) producing superb photos. All in all, incredible value.
I use fingerprint detection to access the phone. Occasionally it doesn’t recognise straight away, however, this may be due to cold fingers or damp atmosphere/phone. 4 stars for now, but when the weather is better, maybe 5!

Have never had such an annoying and disappointing mobile. It cannot hold a wifi connection, it stutters and stammers and buffers, disconnects whenever it feels like and I am very annoyed that I didn’t return it within the first 48 hours. The photographs are a poor quality, the keypad is often unresponsive and I find it extremely slow to respond. Am currently using my old Nokia purchased in 2018 with a smashed screen rather than this mobile. I had a Sony before, and bought this one as it has the same photo setup. Wouldn’t recommend at all. The only reason for 5 stars is that they won’t refund me until it is rated higher. Buyer beware.

I’ve had this phone for a few days only.
I have moved to this from an iPhone7.
The iPhone always had a microphone problem requiring a headset to make any calls.

I’m a simple user of a mobile phone:
take photos and share some of them via whatsapp or google photo sharing.
    view linkedin every so often
check emails (but don’t really type and send many)
read kindle books and web blogs.
use the google maps sat nav in the car.
    I rarely make calls.

    First impressions:
    Phone feels decent quality.
Setting up was ok although the google account update took quite a while.
Doesn’t seem to be much non-android bloat on the phone.
Ring tone volumes are very loud (am only mentioning this as I read a review that they were too quiet).
The camera photos are sufficient for me. I have a DSLR if I want all singing and dancing photos. For snaps, this is just fine.
The screen is decent enough too, although I suspect a top end phone would put it to shame. Not a problem for me though.a
Main things for me are battery life (iPhone was dying) and responsiveness.
The battery has been superb – hasn’t died any of the three days I’ve used it but have charged it full overnight regardless.
Responsiveness is the worst aspect – apps have a lag when opening but I can cope with it. The iPhone was like lightning in comparison but it still costs 3 times the price today.
The phone is big and pokes out the top of a rear pocket on my jeans.
This doesn’t bother me and I find the extra size very welcome as my eyes get older!
One strange thing I have noticed is when several calendar reminders come through at once (work ones where I have 3 for the same starting time, and I pick which one I want to attend at the time) and the notification makes a crackling sound rather than clear notification bings.
again though, nothing serious for the price of the phone.

In summary,I love the phone for the money.
I paid 87.99 for it and am amazed at the quality and function for that money.

Purchased both the phone together with the separate case. Both arrived today.
Set up within a matter of minutes following all the online instructions, installed both Sim card & SD card, carried out as asked from thereon, both work perfectly.
Still getting to grips with the phone but don’t see any foreseeable problems.
Very pleased & impressed. Very user friendly.
    Highly recommended.

he phone is on the large size, but for what i need it for that’s ok, i have not tried all the things it is capable of like face recognition, fingerprint reader and a lot of other things, but i find it easy to use. There was no instructions with it so it is makes it harder to find out how things work.

Brilliant phone. Looks and feels like a phone that is many times the cost of this one. Brilliant camera, Brilliant video and sound recording capability. Have installed a 256mb sd card leaving the internal memory freed up to run the phones main capabilities. Can’t be praised enough.

I have ordered two of these phones. The first was for my wife, and then a short while later I ordered a second for my daughter. In both cases they were looking for a good quality smartphone and had assumed they’d need one of the big names to get the functions they needed. Not the case – they can do everything they need with this phone! Great value for money. Wife loved hers which is why my daughter was happy to give a try too. One of the biggest issues with smartphones is, with so much tech packed into them, you’ve got to expect a certain number of handsets to develop faults. My daughter’s phone developed a fault and I feared the worst. Having dealt with phone repairs through the big players I was expecting a whole ton of hassle! Not with BV Mobiles! Excellent customer service and understanding and they’ve sorted everything out! Why pay mega bucks for a name? You can get the same tech for a fraction of the cost with one of these phones.

Don’t want to spend a lot? Then have a punt. Came in under 100 including buying a wallet – got one with a damaged box – who cares! Set up fine, works fine, battery life ok so far, finger print works fine, not so sure about face recognition although there are times it is open when I don’t expect so could be face rec kicking in and I’m just not used to it.Speaker for music, bit funny, but unless you want to annoy fellow passengers with your collection of Mantovani, not an issue. Mine came with no lead but as it used same as Sony, not a prob.itching to do something whizzy with all the lenses. Keeping in mind almost everything is made in China definitely worth a pop.

Brilliant phone and does everything it is asked and if it is any help for someone else, my hubby can now use the internet outside:
Hi there, my hubby thinks he’s cracked it!
These instructions have worked on his phone:
    Go to
    1. Settings
    2. Wi-Fi
    3. add networks
Under ‘use Wi-Fi’ green bar at top
you should see the a bar going across underneath the green bar, might have to wait
The internet icons should turn black.
I tried the phone outside today and picked up the internet, so hopefully that should work for you.

I almost returned this phone because the WiFi was really unresponsive, however If you go into developer settings and make sure your wifi itsnt being throttled/using your network data along with wifi (i have no idea why this is an enabled feature to begin with) it fixes all the network issues!

Overall phone is great quality for the price, camera isnt the best and neither is the face recognition in bad lighting but other than that a quality phone for the price!

My old phone died and was on a contract but I was unable to find a suitable replacement at a reasonable cost, so I decided to take a chance buying a cheaper phone and using my original SIM card. I wasn’t expecting miracles as the new phone was about a third of the price of the old one. Up to now, I have yet to find anything that this phone is unable to do compared to the old one. It was easy to set up, including the fingerprint recognition (which my old phone didn’t have) and the most impressive function is its battery life, it will function for up to three days without charging. It hasn’t put a foot wrong yet – fingers crossed!

After one year of usage there are still no issues, its very reliable. The battery capacity has deteriorated somewhat, but that’s only to be expected.

    From 2010
Five full days, one charge on first day, battery still at 24%. So far I can’t find anything but positives about this phone. I’ve never owned an android so there’s been a bit of exploration to set it up. So far, and it is early days, it’s light years better than the iphone 6 it replaced.

About 100 days usage now. Really satisfied. Headphones sound quality is great for radio chat shows but not so good for music. When other better quality headphones are used it works fine. The phone radio function is very good. The fingerprint function works really well for my online banking. Lots of generic cases and screen protectors etc available online. Battery life is astonishing. Power of hotspot is very good too. I can run my computer and my sons ipad, nintendo, my Ipad and have enough bandwidth to do video chats all from one sim in the blackview.

I’m still discovering the functionalities, but I have no complaints. I’m looking for something negative to say but I can’t find it yet. So far its been a fantastic phone for the price, for any price. I bought two of them. Best phone I’ve ever had.

One year on - still grea

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersPurchased this phone from Amazon in Nov 2020, still going strong. It has performed faultlessly, with perhaps one exception, although not a deal breaker for me. When leaving the house and loosing the the wi-fi, it doesn’t always latch on to the mobile data from my provider, (GiffGaff). This could be an issue with my provider and not the phone, I don’t know. A quick turn off/ on and mobile data present and correct.
Ether way, Spotify, Netflix, games and as a phone, faultless. For the price I paid for it and the excellent screen size for films etc, I am very happy with it. I hope this helps.

I have only had the phone for a couple of days but once I had it set up how I like I can hardly tell the difference between this one and a top of the range Samsung! It has a very good screen size and very clear picture. Seems to work fast and has all the specs you would look for in a more popular brand. The only spec that I would say isn’t too quality is the camera but I am not one for pictures anyway. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a cheap alternative to a very expensive phone.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersUnlike some ‘smart’phones that die the instant you turn them on, this one actually has a battery that will keep you going. Some recent adverts for very expensive phones (of a fruit related nature and their competitors) have proudly announced how the battery will last an entire day ! How cute – this sucker lasted all week ! Only down-side is that the battery s in-built and as such can’t be changed.

Screen gives really good clarity and contrast, the functionality is simple and reliable. All in all I can’t see why people spend 500 plus on a mobile phone, other than for vanity and to show-off. I’d rather have something like this at a fraction of the price.

Latest Android version, great battery capacity, lack of bloatware. Competitive price.
The big battery dictates a large, weighty phone. Notifications of incoming messages are usually absent, and incoming phone calls can be impossible to pick up. The camera shutter click is largely inaudible.
There’s a non-standard procedure for screenshots involving swipe down. Poor customer support from the Shenzhen manufacturer. No NFC.

This is a very good phone for the cost, easy to operate and clear screen. Bought as a quick replacement to my Samsung S10 which I dropped and broke screen, currently not happy with Samsung charging over 200 to get screen fixed. The Balckview Pro A80 is definitely value for money, overall a great phone and a very good camera front and rear.

I ordered this phone to replace my water-damaged Samsung Galaxy S7 but I didn’t want to pay silly money for a new one.

The phone arrived next day and my first impression of it was it that is was a nice-looking item, appeared robust and sleek, with a large screen and was easy to set up.

The fingerprint scanner is on the rear of the phone, so you are only able to use your index finger (unlike my previous phone, the S7, which let you use up to 4 different digits).
But this phone also has a pattern log-in, too.

Unfortunately, my S7 was totally dead, so I could not try the Smart Switch data transfer onto this phone, although I did manage to download all my photos and emails from my S7 onto this phone.

I could not, however, retrieve my Notes from the S7, which included all of my passwords and online banking details (in coded form), so I could not log on to online banking without those details. This was the game-changer for me.

The camera on the phone leaves a lot to be desired, as the videos I took seemed a little blurred and shaky, although
watching Netflix on this phone was excellent, the screen is clear with sharp detail and colours.

All the usual Android Apps can be downloaded with Play Store and the WhatsApp had a lot more detailed Emoji’s than I had on my previous phone, however, this wasn’t a selling point for me.

All in all, for a phone costing just over 100, I was quite impressed with it, just the data transfer issues from the S7 to the Blackview and the poor quality camera were the main let-downs in my eyes.

I gave it a try but, sadly, I decided to return this phone and pay a little more for another Samsung (this time the M31), as I am hoping that with there will be no data transfer issues and I will be able to retrieve my notes and passwords via the Samsung Cloud.

    This review is for the:

    Blackview
Mobile Phone, Blackview A80 PRO Smartphone Quad Rear Camera Dual SIM Free Android Phones with 4680mAh Big Battery, 6.49 inches Waterdrop Full-Screen, 4GB RAM+64G ROM, Fingerprint, Face ID – Black.

I purchased the above due to having to send my much more expensive “Big Named ” device off for repair – once again!

Being disabled, I rely heavily on my phone to both keep in contact with my family and in case of Emergency. It also links in to my smartwatch as well.

Initially I purchased a device, but after receiving it I foundit was faulty being unable to connect to either a mobile network, WiFi or Bluetooth. I connected Amazon who provided a return lable. I advised that I would be without a phone and therefore required a refund in order to purchase replacement. During the short wait for my refund, I did a great deal of research and read a lot of reviews on Amazon and othe forms of media prior to deciding upon the Blackview A80 Pro. I was desperate to get the phone as I am awaiting a medical procedure which requires both myself and my wife to go into self isolation for 14 days, prior to the procedure.

I decided upon the Blackview, due to its size, battery capacity and speed of the processor. Upon arrival I was surprised to find that the Blackview was only slightly smaller than my main phone .

Again I was surprised with the spec of the Blackview, being Quad Core with 4Gb of RAM, but only 64Gb of memory however, unlike a number of devices available, not only does it support 2 SIM Cards, but in addition it also takes a Micro SD Card. I installed a 128Gb Card purchased from Amazon at a very reasonable price.

Before even starting the phone, I ensured it was fully charged. A surprising fact, batteries have memory! It is therefore recommended that you fully charge the device prior to powering up.

In addition I was also pleased to see that the phone came with a phone case (yes it just a simple cheap one, but still enough to protect you phone until you get a case of your own choice. Not only that, it comes with 2 screen protectors, 1 already installed and a spare one contained in the Information box. The finger print sensor is located on the back, and in my case the perfect position regardless of which hand your using to hold the phone. It is very reactivate and enables a very quick logon.

On powering up, the phone was fast to connect to both WIFI and mobile networks. Initially I found the UI (User interface) a little slow. This is basically your home screen and layout etc. I therefore installed one I have used previously, but this is entirely down to user choice. Other launcher are available on the Google Play store. The Phone runs on Android 9 (which will hopefully soon be updated to Android 10). It did however immediately install a security patch Dated Jul 20. I then started the process of recovering my apps from the Google Play Store. I find the best thing to do, is place your phone close to your router and let it do its thing. The time it takes depends entirely on how many apps you have, and obviously the size of the applications. It has a huge battery being 4680mAh, which is actually bigger than my main phone. This should easily cover your daily need (obviously depending on use).

The phone not only looks good, but also feels good in the hand. The volume and power keys are located on the right hand side, which initially took a bit of getting use to. The screen is bright and vibrant, and can easily be seen in direct sunlight, I know this because I tried it lol.

Again I was pleased to see that it would, after downloading the app, connect to my Smartwatch (a real advantage as I can take calls via my watch). Using this same app for the watch also allowed me to connect to my ear buds – an additional bonus.

I have been using this phone for about a week now, having purchased a decent case on Amazon for only 6.99. (See pic of case above). Pleased that my phone is covered against accidental drops and scratches. I would strongly advise installing an anti virus package, especially if you intend to use the phone for home banking or purchases online.

The phone comes unlocked so you should be able to use any network provider, but make sure you have a micro sim card, otherwise it won’t fit. I suggest, if you have any doubts, contact the seller using the Amazon messenger system. Better to be safe than sorry.

The phone comes equipped with 4, yes 4 cameras , made by Sony. Oh I forgot about the front facing “selfy” camera located in the “tear drop” front, top, middle of the main phone screen. You should reasonably expect fairly good quality pics. Although I don’t really use this functionality very much the pics I tried, whilst playing with my new phone were all good quality.

The phone come with a UK 10W fast charger, a USB cable and earphones . All in all, a lot more than I would have expected for a large 6.43 inch phone especiallyat for the price I paid.

Although this phone was initially purchased to cover me until I get mine back. I have to say I am seriously impressed. It has most of the features of the “Big Brand” named phones available, but at a fraction of the cost. It even has a 24 month warranty – not bad for a phone (of this size) that only costs 109.

If I were to be totally honest, if this phone came with an SPEN, I would happily use it all the time, and reduce my current contract to calls only. It seriously matches up to the vast majority of big named devices available. I even noticed while watching some reviews online, it actually beat some and came very close to other in benchmark test (this fact will only be of interest to the geeks amongst us lol).

I showed my son the phone prior to going into self isolation. He sells phones for a major network provider. He was really impressed and gobsmacked at the price!

Admittedly there are some poor reviews for this phone, however I suspect this may be due to not reading the instructions correctly. Howsoever, we must also remember that device’s such as these are mass produced, therefore it is inevitable that one or two faulty ones, may slip through. Again I suggest contacting the company, especially as it comes with a 24 month warranty. I haven’t found any reason to fault this device. The call are clear, it easily connects to 4G and WiFi. The speakers could be better, but at the price they are fine.

This would make an ideal gift for someone especially a teenager, as it has all the functionality without the massive upfront cost.

Easily a excellent phone at a great price. Note: I noticed it priced much higher on other sites.

In summary, and bearing in mind the cost the Blackview A80 Pro earns a well deserved 5

I hope you found this review helpful

Exceptionally good value for money 💰

Only had it 4 days but so far looking really good. It’s less expensive than my previous Blackview phone, and slightly taller – that plus the full screen area is very helpful for eyes as old as mine. It was easy to restore my apps and contacts using google backup. The sim card tray is much easier to access (despite needing glasses and a steady hand to use the card pin). The fingerprint lock is new to me but quicker than the pin number and will come in handy if I forget it. Camera is easy to use and picture quality very good. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great phone for a great price

Good value for a cheap phone. It runs Android 9 for better or worse.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhen I ordered this phone I was sceptical that it might be a bit mediocre? to my surprise it has turned out to be quite a good phone the build quality is as good as any top end brand, it has all the latest features face and finger unlock which works really well.
It is amazing for the price if your on a budget you cannot go wrong with phone I highly recommend this phone fast CPU with 4 GB Ram 64 GB ROM and I added a 32 GB micro SD Card, you can add more if you like.

I bought this phone for my wife, who is the first to admit that she isn’t tec savvy, but wanted a phone with a decent camera.
She finds it relatively easy to use, and is very happy with the quality of the photographs.
It was very straight forward to transfer phone numbers, apps files etc, from her old phone to the new one.
It has a decent battery life, and the overall look and feel of the phone, is of nice quality.
For the price and specs it warrants a 5 star rating. If it was more expensive then no.
All in all a good phone at a realistic price point.
    Would I recommend it, yes.
You get a decent phone, for not a lot of money.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSo; I ruined my Huawei P30 Pro and needed a replacement and this is what I came with.

The phone itself is good quality and sturdy. It comes with a UK Plug, earphones, charger, SIM tool, and a contact card all neatly packed in a box as you’d expect from any other high end manufacturer.

It is snappier if you use the developer tools option to speed up the animations of loading, closing apps etc. and works like a dream. The camera on the other hand is surprisingly good for a sub 100 phone. It is very clear given the right angles and focus and can easily take some great pictures with it. The battery life also lasts a very long time however the super fast battery charging in comparison to the P30 Pro is slow; not slow as in days, but it takes a good hour and a bit to make it to full charge but from the prices you cannot even complain considering this can last a good day or two without needing to be charged.

They give you a free rubber case and screen protector which is great too..

The fingerprint ID on the back works better than most phones I’ve used, it’s near enough instant which is quite a shock. It is snappy yet a little bit stuttery when sliding from app to app but nothing noticeable to a user who wants a cheap; powerful phone. The build quality seems to be amazing too. They also offer a VIP card for 24 hour service if you have issues which is a nice touch.

The screen is vibrant and looks pretty damn good too considering the size of the display and the resolution however you can notice some lack of detail in some areas which is to be expected.

I am extremely satisfied with this purchase in replace of my P30 Pro (which I dropped in a river 🙁 ) It is a budget monster to say the least. Unfortunately some people have had bad experiences which I cannot relate to as it has done nothing but be amazing for me for the time I’ve been using it. No crashes, no black screens. It works as a phone should and is more than capable for the price tag it has. I would HIGHLY recommend this phone to anyone who is on a budget but needs a bit of power behind them.

Easy to use. Very good camera, for the price of the phone. Memory and ram , excellent. Many inferior phones being sold at a similar cost. Easy to transfer downloaded pics/ vids to SD card. I’m ,generally, really pleased with this phone . Don’t think you’ll get a better one,for this price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI purchased the Blackview A80 Pro as a temporary replacement for a Honor 10 Lite Huawei compatible smartphone with a damaged charge connection socket. I had to use an alternative camera app however, to avoid seeing the ‘Blackview A80 Pro’ logo in the bottom left hand corner. Other than that, the phone works well and the battery life lasts about 20 hours on a full charge depending on how the phone is used. Photo and video quality are good for the price.

I’d become frustrated by the lack of memory space on my Samsung J3 and was attracted to this phone by a combination of memory, price, favourable reviews and features. It has turned out to be all I’d hoped for. I’m a reasonably tech savvy septuagenarian but there were things I was struggling with which took, by very tech savvy son in law, about 15 minutes to sort. And he pronounced himself impressed by the package.

I bought this as a stop-gap between a phone upgrade and I wasn’t expecting much from a smart phone costing just over 100. However I am presently surprised on how well it performs and may well keep it for the long-term.
The phone loads apps really fast. Has a two-day battery life. Runs two SIMs without any problems. Location services/ maps seem to work as well as my previous phone. Camera is really good for day time shots, but not so in poor lighting conditions, but then you cant have everything at this price. Highly recommended!

i dropped my samsung j5 and broke the screen so looked for another phone and came across the blackview brand which i had never heard of.i had read the reviews and thought for the price i would give it a shot.im well impressed as its bigger and faster than the samsung i had and best of all……..the blackview doesnt come preloaded with 5 million apps that im never going to use and cant remove from the phone like most of the branded phones do nowadays.great phone and well worth the money and now i think i will be buying blackview phones from now o

Can’t believe I only paid 109.99 for this! It’s quick, good quality and comes with a gel case. Would be 5* if the speakers were better, a bit tinny but will pair with all my Bluetooth devices easily. Just waiting for the wallet case which should be in about 3 weeks, guess this is coming from China.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI don’t normally write detailed reviews but I think this phone warrants it.

Remember this is a budget phone, so It’s important to know what you’re not getting –
    – No NFC
    – No Compass
    – No USB to HDMI
    – No Screen Cast (Although there is a setting for it)

Those are the only features lacking compared to a high end phone (it’s got the same feature set as an Amazon Fire HD Tablet).

The USB C charges as quick as my Galaxy S9 (40 – 100% in 1 hour on fast charge). Power on to lock screen is slightly slower than my S9 but not by much, the battery lasted well. The USB C is also able to recognise USB memory and connect to a PC for data transfer.

I tried it with dual SIM cards and could receive calls on both and decide which one to make calls, you can also turn data on/off for each sim although I could not get the built in sim application to work. The stock launcher is not good, the first thing I did was to install Nova launcher, it works great on this phone.

    Other comments are –
    – quick fingerprint reader
    – screen orientation changes quickly
    – good picture
    – camera is adequate
    – works with Netflix Disney + etc
    – speaker sounds tinny but plenty of volume
    – works with Microsoft ‘myphone’ app

    I would highly recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 70 From Our UsersThis is an amazing phone for the price! The phone is fast, easy to set up, large screen, I’m struggling to find anything to fault. the camera and screen I think is as good as high end phones considering the price I like this phone a lot
The battery life is also great and charges fully in two – three hours mine come with a 1A charger. the finger print ID is Excellent unlock the Screen in an incident very quick.. I must say when I hit that click to buy I thought I might regret my purchase..as I don’t normally go for plastic type phones but on delivery I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality. I would definitely recommend this A80 pro to any one on a budget..it has all you need for a grate price. .but don’t take my word for in purchased one of your own..

I had never heard of Blackview but needed a phone to replace my Samsung so I took a punt on this and so far I am so glad I did.
Simply fantastic piece of kit for the money. Really quick, fingerprint recognition works effortlessly, battery lasts for ages regardless of what you are using the phone for. 64GB of memory means there is loads of space even after the operating system uses some of it. Screen is large and crystal clear. I was even impressed by the earphones which deliver nice quality sound. I thought given the battery size it was going to be heavy and unwieldy but absolutely not.
Really I cant praise this phone enough.

Only problem I had was setting my APN Settings. My Tesco sim kept coming up with O2 Settings, so the customer
service at BV Mobiles were great and helped me solve the problem . Battery life, picture quality, phone, WIFI,
everything is so great for the money. My old Phone was a Sony but I love the A80 Pro and the best thing is I saved
a fortune by purchasing it !!!!!!!!!!!

I did a lot of looking at reviews, and specs before I purchased this phone got no regrets, just feel sorry for those that spent hundreds, for a phone, did my own speed Tests against a galaxy s9+ opening multiple apps etc, and it seems to keep up with the best of phones, finger print scanner, works better than some top end phones, the looks and feels expensive, nice bright screen, excellent value for money, comes with UK adapter, case, earphones and screen protector, I will stick with blackview phones from now on!, I did like sony phones but mine had screen issues so I got fed up with i

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersThis is an amazing product for the price! The phone is fast, easy to set up, large screen, I’m struggling to find anything to fault.
Obviously the camera and screen are not as good as high end phones but they are adequate especially considering the price of this!
The battery life is also great and charges fully in a couple of hours as it comes with a 2A charger.
I bought this for an elderly relative during the covid lock down and considering they’d never used a mobile before they found it easy to use.
There is no NFC which again is no surprise for the price but that’s about the only downside I could come up with :). So if NFC isn’t important to you then this is a great buy!
    Very happy!!!!!
