This is perfect for my lounge that has laminated wood flooring plus a large short pull rug, with the added bonus of the light you can easily see what needs picking up, and it does the job just perfectly! Nice and light and easy to maneuver. Easy to clean as well and altho I find the hand held unit maybe doesn’t have as much suction (which is strange!) it’s still a great little vacuum and I would recommend it!
I have had a few cordless hoovers but this has been the best one yet, it looks great and it works great too! Highly recommended
So, after playing around with this for a while my conclusion is that it’s great for quick cleaning, picking stuff up from the floor, etc, but it’s got really bad suction without the head attached.
For example it will clean my floor no bothers but when I remove the head and go for the cobwebs the spiders just laugh at me and walk casually away.
If you already have a big main hoover with a cable, that’s a nuisance to drag out every time you want to clean up a little something, then this is the perfect thing to have hanging in the corner. You can just grab it in 2 seconds, wham, bam, and you’re done.
I have no doubt that you could get by with this as your main hoover if you wanted, but I think of it as more of an accomplice. It also doesn’t hold very much so if you’re planning on cleaning a large dirty house then you’ll probably have to empty the teeny tiny box every few minutes.
That said, I’m quite happy with it, but I’ll pull out the big guns when I want to give the house a real cleaning, and keep this for quick messes, and quick clean-ups when I’m feeling a bit lazy.

This is my second super vac and this one is excellent both in ease of use, suction and lightweight. Also hand help very handy too.
Best superlight vac I’ve triedgreat on hard floors and carpetshaving the led lights is a bonus as you can see exactly where dust or dirt is and don’t miss itsuction power is great and happy with charging timelove how it doubles up and can use to vacuum my carvery happy with this purchase!
I wanted a stick vacuum as I couldn’t be doing with lugging our heavy, old, upright dyson up and down the stairs. This was just the ticket! I did wonder whether I’d wasted my money on a whim, but I’ve not used the dyson (or the dustpan and brush) since I bought this.
First up, it doesn’t offer the suction of the Dyson that I’ve been used to, but because it is so light and convenient I use this way more frequently. Not tripping over cords or having to switch plug sockets half way through a clean means I can just whip round very quickly and easily with no cord winding afterwards. Whereas before I was vacuuming every week (or less, please don’t judge me), I’m now using this on an almost daily basis. It’s also so light and quieter that the kids get involved and enjoy vacuuming with it as well (everyone’s a winner!).
Initially I thought the headlights at the front were a bit gimmicky … UNTIL my little girl dropped a photoframe sending splinters of glass all the way down wooden stairs and onto pale tiled floor below. This was a godsend literally illuminating all those little splinters and giving me confidence that no one (especially the kids) was going to lacerate their bare feet. It also highlighted to my husband that YES we need to vacuum the stairs on a weekly basis if not more frequently as it showed that although they appear to be clean to the naked eye, the little headlights on this thing literally showed up all the dust and hairs – which was also very handy for under the beds as well.
I malt like nobody’s business and my hair has brought about the demise of many vacuum cleaners, but I’ve found it easy to cut my hair from this on the both times I’ve needed to. I now use this every couple of days over the bathroom floor or wherever I’ve brushed my hair and I couldn’t be happier, much more effective than the dustpan and brush that would just see my hair getting caught in the brush.
With two small children it’s also made cleaning up post-mealtime an absolute cinch as well! (not wet foods obviously), but they leave enough crumbs after each meal/ biscuit/ snack that Hansel and Gretel would be in paradise!! Again, this has just made that sooo much easier.
The only cons I can see are that the nozzle attachments can’t be stored on the unit or the wall-mounted base which is a shame, because it would be good to keep everything out of the way, but it’s not a dealbreaker for me.
It does take about 5 hours for a full charge but I like that you can see how much charge is left on the vacuum by the number of lights. I usually just plug it in when I hang it up again so it’s ready to go for the next use.
The drum that collects the dust isn’t very big, but again ,I don’t mind that too much as it just ensures I empty it after each use. It’s also easy to wash between uses as well. Also as I vacuum more frequently there’s less to pick up than if I was using the big old upright.
I’d not hesitate to recommend this and in fact, I’ve been thinking of buying one as a christmas gift for my in-laws.
UPDATE. it’s started spitting out crumbs when I turn it off. Currently taking with Amazon and morphy Richards to resolve. Will update again shortly.
On assembling the cleaner I found that one of the prongs on the plug was slightly bent so that it wouldnt fit into the socket. I thought that Morphy Richards should know so rang customer services who were completely useless. Spoke to two different people who both sounded boref and dissinterested and bordering on impolite. The only response was “ring Amazon”.
I actually managed to straighten the prong with a pair of pliers.
Having said that ,the cleaner is pretty good. Suction is reasonable and its easy to empty. A bit heavier than i would have liked especially when using the hand held but not a major problem. I like the light on the front.
So four stars for the cleaner, none at all for Morphy Richards customer services.
Got this to replace another vacuum that wasn’t very good at sucking! This did an excellent job!
Light & powerful. Never manage to run out of battery power, even when l do all rooms !
Good little hoover. I only use it as a quick clean up around the kitchen on an amtico floor. The wheels are quite small so very difficult to push on carpet and seems to scrape on the floor so wouldn’t use it as my main machine
This is a fantastic little hoover. Very impressed. Just need to empty it once you are finished hoovering so it’s good to go the next time you want to use it.
I have a very small flat with carpet and lino and the vaccume works well on both surfaces. It’s very easy to use, lightweight and is easy to store. The hand held mode is great from getting the tops of door frames and into corners. The drum is small so needs emptying after a couple of uses but it’s not somthing that bothers me. My space is small so I can get away with quite a few uses before needing to recharge. For the price it’s great.
I’m in my seventies and wanted a light cordless vacuum.
My old one was a cheaper cord model that had great suction.
This vacuum is not as light as I hoped and doesn’t have the suction of the old one but it still does really well in my small 2-bedroom bungalow.
I vacuum the whole place without recharging and it’s great having a hand charger for the sofa.
The handle folds so it’s easy to store.
It takes a while to recharge but the length of time using the machine was adequate for me.
I love this cleaner so light easy to push good suction .picks up hair worth every penny wish I had bought it earlier .I love Morphy Richards good quality items
It’s lightweight sturdy and better than bigger, more expensive models
Great for small homes. Move around the house with ease. Goes from wood to carpet. Has lights on it too so you can see any dirt you have missed.
This wouldn’t be suitable for a larger home great for a student so lightweight and easy to store.
Must be emptied and clean regularly to ensure great performance.
Love this vacuum it’s very light and so easy to use very good suction on carpets and flooring could have made it better by having a holder for attachments other than that excellent produc
Very light weight and easy to use, very good suction power.
This is surprisingly good. It has a nice suction to it. It was able to suck up 5p coin thanks to my child. The brushes are great for furniture and it works well on pet hair. Its easy to use that my 5yr old loves it and its light enough to carry around.
The dust collector is small its essentially a dirt buster wearing a costume but it is a nice little vacuum cleaner.
It also is really great at picking up fine fluff off the carpet… its like the lint out of the dryer trap. So you know the main vacuum brush works well. That’s also really easy to remove threads from as it has a plastic catch on the bottom you can remove with a flat head screwdriver and the brush pops right out meaning now finger contortions to remover debris from it.
As my battery wasn’t lasting long in my Bosch athlet cordless cleaner I bought this as an extra one for upstairs. It’s great. Better than my Bosch. Sucks up all the hay from my guinea pigs and works on lino which my other one doesn’t. Really light weight, has lights to help see under furniture and fits in all the small spaces between furniture. I’m very happy with this and the price was less than half of my other one. I will definitely buy another one. I use this as the main vacuum now and keep the other one for upstairs.
Light to use and handy being able to use the handheld vacuum to get into areas where the vacuum cleaner isn’t able to reach. Delighted with this choice.
Small bungalow so this vac was ideally suited for me to use thanks
Good suction and brush works well.
The charging system and stand work well but it is pretty heavy compared to other similar vacuums that i’ve had.
The only problem is, as others have mentioned, is that it is ridiculously hard to get the inner part of the dust cannister open(the red plastic lid part) to empty it properly, could be why they are discounting them.
Lovely works well free standing like the dirt seeking lights good value for money
After many years of traditional upright and belly vacuum cleaners, we decided to try this one, after reading the reviews. We are very happy with this design. It is lightweight, low noise, easy to move and easy to empty. Battery life is more than acceptable. It uses only a tiny fraction of the power of my belly vacuum cleaner, generates no heat and is relatively quiet. And no bag to replace. It’s a joy to clean the house with it! I don’t feel like I’ve had a workout afterwards. 10 points for design and a further 10 for good value.
I really like this wee vacuum. It’s not as powerful as my Henry hoover but it’s great for wooden & laminate floors and quick clean ups. Need to use full power for carpets so only get about 10 min cleaning but it’s enough to do stairs & landing – and because it’s lightweight stair cleaning is very easy. It’s really easy to empty & clean the dust canister. Even my 5yo likes vacuuming now!
Small but mighty. I like that you can switch between suction power.
Brilliant works great love the lights on the floor head can do a house top to bottom in no time easy to empty and clean filters very happy with purchase
It is super effective and works like a dream. Corners are a bit tricky but it sucks up anything from breadcrumbs to hair and dust like it is nothing. Super easy to use and can actually store quite a lot before needing to be emptied. Awesome colour and stands discreetly on its own. There is a light on the front so you can always see what you are doing very clearly.
For the price, it’s a bargain! The battery lasts for 30-40 minutes., the suction is good. Over all its’s much better value than lots of more expensive ones and very good battery life.

ok so this is a replacement and for the money not too bad it needs a tool holder on the tube cos you have to take the tools around with you a – for me then the head although a little smaller than my original cordless the head is not swivel which would be a nice added feature and the dust capacity could be bigger so on that i prefer my original which had the above features and was cheaper you decide
Good and lightweight. I like it for cleaning the stairs and for a quick wizz around. I like the light at th front which highlights Andy dust or dog hairs on. Y hardwood floors
This Vacuum Cleaner is really lightweights and I really loved it. Read alots of reviews before decide to buy this one. Very easy to put it together, easy to use and very easy to empty when full!
I leave it on charge for 4 hours before start used. Very lightweights and even my son loved it. Design and colour look great too plus light on front to see at the dark area. Suction is great, and good used at stairs and in car. Work well with both carpet and wooden floor. Only one thing to let down is it’s full quiet quickly. My house is 4 bedroom, Battery is long enough for whole house but needed empty twice or may be more if I do the rest of house too.
But overall I loved it, worth money, not over price and look great & lightweight. Recommended
Really pleased with this had the previous model but this one much improved. Highly recommend
Purchased this after much deliberation as my current cordless Dyson V6 is having issues. I couldn’t be happier with this product. Very similar in function and design to my Dyson. Suction is good it picks up small particles and dog hair very well. Attachments included and easy to clean the stairs. Not as lightweight as my Dyson but very very close and comfortable to use especially the on/off button doesn’t need to be held down while using. Charge time as stated around 4 hours and has light indicators to show the charge. Easy to remove the dust container which makes emptying easier and you just need to brush out the main filter and wash the foam filter once a month. Easy to maintain. I especially like the lights on the main brush head which are really helpful when hoovering in low light, dark corners and under furniture. I wouldn’t purchase another Dyson this is much better value for money. Very happy customer would definitely recommend.

Brilliant product, best vac I’ve used for ease, lighter than a gtech and better suction at half the price, would definitely buy agai
Lightweight, easy to use and decent power. A good all round buy and good value for money
Does a good job. Light and easy to manoeuvre with strong suction. The only flaw is the small dust container that require frequent emptying. Treble the size of the dust container and it becomes a perfect machine.

Needs emptying regularly as the chamber is obviously very small but absolutely brilliant little vacuum cleaner. Easy to use, lightweight, wife loves it.

Love the cordless Supervac 2 in 1. The upright is so light and easy to use. As I sew, I have lots of threads and it picks all up, great suction power. I don’t have stairs so can’t comment but the 2 in 1 means that I use the hand held section can clean my sofas with ease. Great for the money, would recommend.
This is the second I have bought (same make – same product) … the first now lives permanently upstairs. I use the new machine downstairs on tiled floors and mainly for dog hairs. I always attempt to review an item with absolute honesty – which usually means weighing up both he ‘pro’s and cons’ …. I am genuinely struggling with this product – there just seems to be nothing I can say against it. Straight out of the box – and you immediately see that this is a ‘top quality item … it both looks good – and it feels good. Before use – put it straight onto he charging unit – a few hours later … the red light turns to green – and you are all ready to go. Place your hand over the end – switch on – and feel the suction power this machine has – it’s truly impressive.
Off you go … and you’ll see what I mean – this machine really does – ‘mean business’. The only thing you have to consider before you purchase this item – is that it can’t really be expected to have the colossal power of a plug in 240 volt mains vacuum cleaner – and it doesn’t. You would be mainly buying one of these for an efficient and quick – zip around the house … it performs that task with ease and efficiency … but can’t be expected to match the power and capability of a mains machine – for – deep cleaning.
That said – providing you understand “why” you are buying it – and what you expect from it … it’s an excellent purchase – that’s why I now have two of them.

Lightweight, “headlights” folding handle for compact storage. Good suction with the option to click off hand held for corners & tops
I purchased this vac to replace the first version MR produced and which had finally died after some years use and its used on twist carpets, and the handheld on car cleaning and upholstery.
What I liked:
The full unit has two suction speeds, the highest of which is a huge improvement over earlier models. I had used a heavy upright alongside my last MR Supervac, but this new model is far more powerful.
The vacuum collapses down and takes little space to store.
I originally thought led lights were gimmicky, but actually they are useful.
The one speed handheld is much easier to remove than other products in the current Supervac range.
There’s a swivel head tool attachment – great for upholstery, mattresses, stairs and car cleaning.
Battery usage time is good.
The increased suction option definitely collects more dust to empty at the end of a cleaning session, but the convenience of this unit outweighs that for me. If I have a gripe, its that there doesn’t appear to be an easily removable replacement battery which could extend the life of the vacuum and probably make recycling of old machines easier.

I LOVE this vacuum cleaner! It’s the best I’ve ever used (and we’ve owned a dyson). It’s cordless, bagless, lightweight and it stands up on its own. It is super easy to remove the little handheld vacuum for use. It’s easy to empty and clean the dust canister. It has lights on the floor head to really show up the dust to make sure you get it all. It swivels really easily and manoeuvres underneath things really well. It stands in its charger with little storage areas for all the tools. It’s quiet. And it was the cheapest vacuum I could find with good reviews – more than half the price of most of them. I can easily clean my whole house with this on one charge (we have 3 floors). I haven’t used the tools yet, but look forward to trying them out. I’d recommend this vacuum to anyone.
Easy to use and store. Easy to empty container. Holds charge well. Not the best suction but ideal for a quick clean up between ‘proper’ hoovering. LOVE the light as it shows up all the dust and pet hair on solid floors
This is an upgrade from the older model that I’d had for a few yrs, it’s very good and has improvements from the old one, better suction and the light really helps, handy for the stairs and the ca
I live in a bungalow but I’m sure it would be 5 stars!!!!!
Great hoover even picks up my dogs hairs without problem. Prices was also a bonus.
I read the reviews – especially the bad ones and thought long and hard before I purchased. All I can comment on is how I find it. It is heavy; it has really good suction on hard floors and carpets but my carpets are all short pile and I can see if you have thicker/wool carpets and rugs you may have a problem; run time is good and charge time also; it’s very compact and can be stored in the smallest of spaces; it’s great having the facility to unclip the hand held feature which is also good; it has a small dust box but is very easy to empty; yes it’s stiff to empty but better that way than too loose; it hasn’t a fiddly filter which no one ever bothers to clean, the one filter is easy to get to and clean; mine doesn’t topple over as some appear to do; the tools for the hand held are sufficient; I thought the light was a bit of a gimmick, but actually I find it very useful.
I use mine for daily vacuuming, not the heavy duty stuff, but it’s great and I recommend it after having had mine a month.

Nice little portable vacuum cleaner suitable for a smaller home. You need to tilt the handle back for it to glide easily on thicker carpets. For stairs detach the portable unit and and used the brush accessory.
It all comes apart for easy cleaning with 2 filters to keep the dust in the canister.
Charges quite quickly and enough power to do our whole house.
My only quibble is the roller brush is quite small and flimsy. Not sure how long it’ll last and hairs get caught up in it. May not suit a pet owner or if you got lots of dirt.
Good value at just 75.
No stairs here, all types of floor cover suction good, everything excelle
The cleaner is very efficient and easy to use. It is versatile also as a hand held item.
Very good price
Lightweight, sucks well, very happy with this vacuum cleaner would highly recommend
A charge enables me to hoover the whole house. I’m 67 and it is much easier and less tiring for me rather than using our heavy Dyson Hoover.

It was a little heavier than I thought but still very good. Just have to remember to charge it up when I know I will need it.

I am fully satisfied with the purchase of this device.
Hard work is the second name of this device!
Thank you!
Excellent hoover. So easy to use all around the house. No wires means I use it more then ever. Easy to empty and clean. Charge time good.
his is a good light weight vacuum
we use it on hard floors only and it is great
suction not strong enough for the car but overall its a good hoove
This is the second cordless vacuum I have owned, both by Morphy Richards. The only real complaint I have with this model is struggling to take it apart for cleaning and then struggling to get it back together. The suction is good, it is nice and light and the fact that it is 2 in 1 makes cleaning stairs etc really easy.
Extremely well built, found suction good, and easy to use. Purchased for my blind daughter to use, although light weight it is heavy enough to give her feedback when pushing it around. She can even put it on charging stand with a little effort at times. only problem is splitting the motor and container part for emptying, even if sighted, the muck gets stuck in the container and needs a finger to prod it out, thus 4 stars.

We had the old 12V predecessor to this model, which was getting a bit long in the tooth and not keeping its charge anymore. This new model is a lot more powerful, and holds its charge better than the old one had, even when it was new.
The charge station itself is also a nice new feature, with trickle charge and handy storage for the two attachments. I specifically wanted exactly the same setup (small vacuum that clips into a handle with a powered head) because it’s the most handy configuration for our kitchen.
Another improvement over the old one is that it’s so much easier to dismantle the power head to remove hair from around the roller brush.
We have a different vacuum specially just for the stairs, which is why I gave the Morphy Richards such a low rating for stairs. Also, it’s not that great on thick-pile carpets, but ace on hard floors and okay on woven carpets.
The nozzle that comes with it makes it great for the car too – especially that bit between the seat and the door where you always have sand and leaves that you can’t get out – well this nozzle is slender enough to fit in there and clean it nicely. For the seat wells and boot I use the power head.
Please note my star ratings are in relation to battery-powered vacuum cleaners.
We had the old 12V predecessor to this model, which was getting a bit long in the tooth and not keeping its charge anymore. This new model is a lot more powerful, and holds its charge better than the old one had, even when it was new.

Love cordless vacuums. This is our second one, the first being a Bosch which is more expensive. I don’t usually like writing reviews until I have owned & used something like this for a few months. We have had this one for only six weeks so here are the findings so far. This one does a good job but sometimes I have to go over the floor twice for a 100% pickup. Mostly it’s fine. As with all of these cordless, the dust bag/holder is quite small so does need emptying every time you use it. However, it’s easy and quick to do, so you just need to make it part of the routine. Great on the stairs with the handheld part. Very good value for money.

Well made suction could be a bit better when detached from base uni
Got this for our laminate flooring… Works very enough. But does not get everything up. Must empty it often.
This is the second one of these hoovers I’ve bought. The last being the model down from this current edition. This one even has lights at the front so you can see everything before you hoover it up. I only use it on lino, tiles and wooden floors. It wouldn’t be good to try and hoover carpets with this hoover in my opinion.
This vacuum cleaner is great, I got it after recommendation from my stepmom and sisters, who all have one.
Upsides: well made, easy to assemble, useful attachments, not too heavy, has a long enough battery life to vacuum a whole apartment, seems to suck up both carpets and floors equally well, it’s easy to dispose of the waste, and BEST OF ALL – there is a light on the head when you vacuum! This is fantastic if your eyesight is not the best, or if you have lighting/decor that makes it hard to see dust. You can just see the dust with this, it’s awesome.
Downsides: You can’t really use it to vacuum UNDER furniture, unless the gap is large enough. The head pivots nicely, but if you need to get in somewhere deep, the “body” of the cleaner becomes an obstruction. But then again, it depends what you want it for. If you have a big house and just need this for quick jobs in the middle of rooms, it’s excellent. If you need something for vacuuming under furniture, you might want the “dragging behind you type of vacuum cleaner with the extendable hose.”
SECOND ONE FROM M Richards.. This being the newer model..as expected with better battery life the the previous and more vacuum power.. GREAT PURCHASE, this is 6 months later:))
Very happy with the performance of this vacuum. My main vacuum is a Henry, bought this to keep upstairs to save dragging the Henry up there. Does the job very well, is unobtrusive, storing away neatly as I don’t have much room. Liked it so much my mum and aunt have bought one too and are equally pleased, I should have got commission haha!!
Great little vacuum, I use it to keep on top of the bird seed indoors and mud from the dog in between using my big hoover. Long battery life and suction is very good, the waste holder is not very big but I just empty it after use which is quick and easy to do.
Perfect for my daughter’s one bedroom flat. Works well on hard floor and carpet, battery life ample to clean the whole flat. Very light and easy to get into corners and under furniture and neat to store away with the folding arm.
Love this – so light and easy to use. Only get my big hoover out once a week when I need a work out. This little gem comes out several times a day when necessary and is more than up to the job of keeping the house tidy
Love this Supervac – so handy to use around the house on tiled wooden of carpet floors – great suction and pick up – lovely and light to scoot up the stairs and quickly run over the bedrooms – comes with useful nozzle and dusting attachments – just love i
Pros – cheap (69 paid), works well, good initial battery life, great accessories
Cons – heavy and hard to steer (especially on carpet), small compartment needs emptying after every couple of uses, fairly flimsy as filter clip broke after third change, can struggle to pick up on thick carpet.
Overall great value if you pay less then 80, does a good job but can be hard work to steer and constantly empty. Considering that I’ve had more expensive ones and the batteries ALWAYS die after 18 months I feel the Supervac is a good all round choice!
