These BBQ firelighters are amazing, easily 5 stars!
They come well packaged so nice and dry and all I need is one of these to light the BBQ, their performance is great and they never fail to light, which speeds up the setup of the BBQ ready to cook on. The burn smokeless and a clean burn, giving off no odours or horrible smell. If needed they can be cut in half giving great versatility.

After reading the positive reviews of these firelighters, we thought we’d give them a go and they are excellent. They are clean burning and help keep the barbecue going for longer. Even though they cost more then other firelighters, the big box is good value and will last a while so worth the price.
I recently bought the Log Barn Natural Firelighters (Box of 200) and they’ve been fantastic. These firelighters work quickly and steadily for my Char-Griller Acorn Jr Smoker/bbq.

These are excellent. Just as effective and easy to light as the older style paraffin based lighters without the smell and messy smoke. Only ever need one to light our log burner so will last for ages. Great value
I bought these to start the fire in my Ooni pizza oven and they are very impressive.
I only need to use a couple and the wood takes very quickly.
Occassionaly I might let the fire burn very low (because I’m not paying attention), so I just drop one of these in and the fire recovers very quickly.
This box will keep me going for quite a while.

There is no smell, they light very easily and stay lit for a good length of time.
No excess packaging and arrive when they say they will.
Anyone still using those vile little grayish biscuits ~ ones that stink like a chemical spill and are just plain abhorrent ~ really should get with the programme. I’ve literally carried these little beauties around in my pocket. Forgotten they were there. Dogs never sussed either. They’re That clean, dry and odourless.
Put a single match to one and off it goes. Drop it in the stove, amongst ye wood and it Keeps going. It’s like an unquenchable little flame that burns with dogged determination. I’ve good as Never had to use more than the one, to get my stove lit.
I always keep a box in my tool room, now. Tends to last me just short of the full winter ~ winters, here, are gruelling long! So, I generally grab a fresh box – this one – to finish off and have ready for next July! (LOL!) Keep a little tub of them on the mantelpiece. Absolutely brilliant! 🙂
I buy these firelighters quite regularly. I have a big woodburner and rely on it for heating during the winter.
There is no smell or odour. I normally takes maybe 2 or 3 along with kindling, coal and logs to get it going, once the kindling and coal catches it is very quick to heat up.
They always arrive well packaged and easy to store. I am just about to place another order for them as I am running low
I preferred this style of firelighters over the white crumbly messy stinky firelighters from before. I have also tried some brown coloured versions that look like mashed cardboard. I first discovered these new wood curly firelighters at a different co when I bought logs etc from them and I was amazed at how brilliant they are. These that were delivered yesterday are packaged well and give a fairly good burn time. Loads in the box and happy with them and would buy these again. I bought them to refill my original boxes purchased from the original company. The Logpile ones have sweet cardboard boxes that have secure tabs on the sides and store inside a bigger box. I’ve kept the boxes because I love the setup and they look good.
These little firefighters provide all the components to get our log burner up and running in the fastest possible time. No unpleasant odour or smoke, but a quick and easy way to ignite our log burner, with a minimum of kindling wood. It works every time.

We’ve managed to light our log burner using only one of these firefighters. They burn very hot quickly and with no smell. The box we bought is going to last a long time. so good value for money.
Love these firelighters for my log burner just place a couple in the bottom with a couple of small sticks and within 2mins I have a lovely fire going with no chemical smells, no problem lighting like other brands.
Much cleaner (and less smellier!) alternative to regular firelighters and they fire up really quick!
We just toss around 3 of these in our stove burner with some kindling and a bit of wood, put the vent on high and it starts the fire in no time – no trouble at all 🙂

Been buying these for well over a year now. Great as only like to use this type, however keeps going up ridiculous amounts in price since I started purchasing.
No smell and starts the fire successfully every time. Loads in the box we have had a fire every evening through the winter and plenty left to continue for another couple of months. Will buy another box for next winter.
I’ve been a paper and cardboard user resisting changing oh boy I wish I hadn’t ! These are quite honestly fantastic and work instantly and effectively,.. I highly recommend for ease of use and does exactly what it says with an eco angle worth every penny

Used to star log stove fires. Only needed one with kindling every time. Much better than other firelighters I’ve tried.
No lovely firefighter smell. Wife hates the smell of standard firefighters so this purchase was better than wearing earplugs.
Lighting the woodburner would be much harder without these wonderful articles. They burn for long enough (unless it is blowing a force 9 outside) to get the stove lit.
I’ve bought these a couple of times and the product is great. My order arrived today and just realised they are more than 5.00 more a box Now compared to November Will compare prices more closely next time
I really like these. They are easy to use and most importantly for me they do not smell of fuel. Rather than keep them loose in the box they arrived in, I divided them up and put them in extra large zip sealing freezer food bags. This keeps them tidy and on hand to use as you need them.
I will continue to use these. A much better product than the fuel soaked firelighters.
Using the upside down method for woodburner to heat the flue, which is recommended if you read up on it. It takes one of these – put a couple if logs on the base of stove and cris cross some kindling on top. Slightly loosen up the firelighter and place in centre of kindling. Place one piece of kindling across the top of firelighters and light it then watch the magic happen. All the years of messing about with newspaper are gone.
