It took me a while to assemble on my own, when I use it it is fit for purpose. I would recommend putting a mat underneath this item for any workouts.
The Xtrainer is sturdy and yet compact for a xtrainer. Would have got a five star for assembly if you don’t put the plastic covers over the joints.
The customer service they give is se one to none.
Will use them again if I require any other equipment.

I had one problem when opening the box the seat stem was bent I sent an email regarding this I got a very quick answer and received a replacement within a week.

have had this cross trainer/bike combo for a month and train on it about 4 times a week.
I have used this type of equipment for 15 years as it keeps me motivated to exercise and is low impact on my knees which are still strong and healthy.
I am short and light, but the machine is not sturdy as it appears. Even with a large man sitting on it as the photo suggests it moves when I use the bike rigorously.
The pedal is not adequately placed for using it as a bike and too close when used as a cross trainer. I had to use my old machine pedals which were longer to be able to use this machine correctly.
The machine was easy to set up and the video helps to build it. It is smaller than my old machine which is useful to put away in the corner of a room. The seat was faulty in the box, but they sent me a new replacement quickly after I contacted them.
It is good value for money, and I should use it for many years.
Effect very visible straight away, I very rarely get sweaty, only after long intense exercise. When jumped into this starters sweating with in first 5-10 minutes.
Really nice well done unit, if tired instead of fully stopping I can sit a bit and work legs only, and once ready again can stand up and carry on.
Seat can be adjusted un and down together with move forward or back.
In front it has small wheels which gives possibility to move it around.
Overall affective and not extra bulky exercise machine.

We got this to help both of us, he likes it for the cross trainer and bike but I wanted it for the bike and treadmill. The treadmill is not what I thought it would be so that side is no good. Extremely hard to put together but it is value for money
Once assembled it stands strong. It seems durable and all parts feel strong. It also runs silently and is easy to shift about thanks to the wheels on one of the supports. Resistance is controlled by a flywheel and it is applied magnetically – so, no moving parts, no noise – great!
The monitor supplied can be used to output your heart rate, distance, calories and overall speed. It is overall a very impressive piece of equipment and I recommend it for any home gym.

Handles too close to your body and a nightmare to assemble as all the instructions are labelled wrongly… Otherwise a good crosstraine
The actual machine worked well and was fairly straight forward to assemble.
However the monitor didn’t work no mater how I tried.
I contacted the seller and without any question agreed to send me a replacement.
The replacement duly arrived and worked fine.

his does seem to be a sturday product. the arms do seem to wiggle a little but i guess thats just a bit of flexibility. Once i steer it correctly it moves well and as it doesnt have wide legs i can move through the narrow part of my hall and get through doors no problem.
my daughter put this together with a ‘little’ help from me. we did need to look at the video as the written instructions seemed to be telling to fix a bolt one way but in actual fact when we looked at video we were doing it incorrectly. With that in mind it is possible when we finished we hadnt tightened one of the same mentioned bolts therefore when using for the 3rd time of a10mins workout (i started very slowly no excerside for long time) there was a clonk and the foot bar dropped. After some huffing and puffing i managed to tighten the bolt which was very loose and get it back together. like i said because of the initial problem we had putting this particulacr part together it is quite possible we didnt tighten this bolt.
Overall i like this cross trainer , it is quiet and i can move it around easily enough and is easy enough to put together maybe check video aswell.

Building was fairly easy and the mechanism is solid. I couldn’t use it as a bike as the pedals were too far forward.
Customer service was brilliant, one of the best companies I have dealt with.
Assembly was ok. Take your time and use the videos and your own tools. Supplied screwdriver lost its head after tightening 2 screws..
tip for assembly. Put the pedal bolts in first when doing the connecting foot bars as it’s easier. Left one would not go in at all as could not line up the bolt with hole with it all connected up. Took it apart to work backwards from the pedal. Much easier.
Sturdy enough. I’m 6.2 and works well for me. Seems quiet and comfy.
Excellent product, very strong. Would help enormously if the left and right handles were marked accordingly.
I was initially disappointed with this machine but after contacting their extremely helpful and efficient customer care team, all my concerns have been resolved allowing me to enjoy using this elliptical trainer.
If I had been kept updated, I probably wouldn’t be writing this review. Who knows? Hope the exercise machine , if I get it, meets my expectations!
UPDATE – Received the equipment 3 days late, but arrived same day as I queried with courier. However, back to the trainer, as previous reviews have stated, takes a while to put together, but the reviewed instructions are clear and concise, it’s very sturdy, really quiet when using and easy to manoeuvre around due to 2 small wheels on the front.
I purchased it for myself as an alternative form of exercise to walking 5 miles most days. I would recommend it, although I have no experience of dearer or cheaper types of machines.
I raised the issues with seller and their response has been first class.
They re-wrote the assembly instructions and sent me a copy. A massive improvement. Too late for my benefit but great for new buyers.
They requested a video recording of the machine in operation and identified the mechanical problem as the inner magnetic flywheel touching the magnet. It must have been dislodged somewhere in transit. They agreed to recompense me for a repair shop to re-align the magnet.
Now the machine has been repaired it is a solid piece of equipment and works well. Hopefully I can start working off some of my lockdown excess baggage.
The service from the seller was excellent and they are clearly committed to providing a good quality product to their customers. I’m happy to recommend them.
