I loved the way it’s easy to mount and connect to app.
Also the feature about downloading when your phone is around, though it’s slow, it works fine

This camera catches all you need from interior to exterior footage of any interesting things or accidents. I have used this dash cam faithfully and fortunately, have not had to record an accident. Knock on wood.
The camera can record to your phone with little to no interpretations to Bluetooth. You may have a glitch here and there but most of the video remains in tact.
It worked quite well for over a year and then started requiring occasional hard resets.
Really liked the features and quality of this camera specifically night vision, Has front and interior facing camera also can be use as back camera. App can be improved more better.

Honestly a great camera. It works every time and if there is an issue, it’s usually just my phone not connecting to it right away, which is an easy fix. Have used the videos multiple times for accident witnessing and for just bad driving videos. Installation is super easy…takes maybe 10 to 15 minutes if you want to make it really invisible and have all the cables hidden.

So far I do really like it. It needing wifi and location and Bluetooth to have it transfer to your phone…is a little much in my opinion. I shouldn’t have to put on my phones GPS just to get a live picture of what my dash cam is showing. But overall I really do like it.
I am a full-time Rideshare driver and I use this camera 24/7, it has some of the best quality of video and audio that I have ever experienced in using a dash cam
I love this I’m a uber driver and if you driver for uber are lyft you need to get this
After following the directions and setting up the app and my IPhone correctly it turns out to be an excellent dascam. Just make sure you folded the directions. It’s easy to mount and has quality video.
Even though this camera is a bit on the price, your side I have had others and can say that this one is by far better. The app works way smoother on this one and I’ve had no problems connecting it to the camera. A huge difference between this and a lot of other cheaper cameras is it continuously records the entire car ride not just a couple minutes clips. And as soon as you turn off your car, it says a video to your phone so you can go back and look at it immediately.
The camera is wonderful , my only complain is that it needs one of those suction mounts for the windshield because the little clear sticky does not do a good job holding up the camera
It is working really good and helpful for me to get some little evidence and maybe do blogs video with his product instead using s GoPro
This is the second Nexar I just wanted the two camera system to replace the single one I had. The whole Nexar system,the app and the camera are grea
Only thing that I found could use improvement is the adhesive for the cable locks. I use Locktite putty which seems to hold after they come loose. The other is easier access to interior camera recordings via phone and have both interior and exterior recordings save to cloud storage or to phone. Please make this easier.
Works great! Only thing I dislike is the camera falls on really hot days
Some of the recordings are not very good ,and I dint like how much battery life it uses.
The camera records crisp videos. You have to download the app to make sure the camera is set up according to your preferences. The good thing is that you don’t need to set up a date and time because it’s done automatically.
Nexar provides excellent customer support. Recently, I got into an accident and the inside cam got ruined. Nexar is sending me a replacement at no cost.
I enjoy having a dash cam in my car. The cam is very reliable and is a good quality cam.

Unfortunately I was involved in a collision with a stupid biker a few days ago. Without this cam it’d of been here-say with the insurance companies. Thanks to Nexar’s intuitive app, hard brake detection and auto & manual clip generation I now have the muppet dead to rights as going into the back of me. Which is clear as day from the interior camera. Which was a pleasant surprise. Shame there isn’t a rear mountable camera too but angled correctly the inside camera does catch views from the rear and side windows
Few side notes I don’t really enjoy;
– I had a day of 4 hrs of driving. The 2nd 2hr leg over-wrote the previous journey as my allocated phone storage was set to 50% on the app by default. Therefore I lost a lot of footage. I’ve been on with the Nexar team via emails and they said I can up my allocated storage. Hopefully that problem is now solved.
– I can’t say much about the night vision. I’ve not tested it.
– I highly recommend buying a 3rd party 124GB SD with this camera. They are a lot cheaper separately.
– The app can be tetchy but on IOS is does run well 99% of the time.
Happy to have bought this. This one shows in front of you and a cabin view. You can view them separate in the phone app. I have not fond out how to watch the cabin views.
Easy to install and great with the app to view videos
Everything about this product is sleek and nice, including the packaging that comes in. But there is one deal breaker. I transport non-emergency medical patients for work and have been required to record and keep all footage of rides while transporting those patients. I am still trying to figure out how to keep 10 hours of footage every day while I am transporting people. I reached out to the company to be told that you can only record “Clips” of rides but not necessarily keep the entire recorded ride. This is decidedly inconvenient because the whole reason I bought the camera for myself and my husband was to be able to save everything right to the cloud so we did not have to mess with Uploading footage from SD cards onto the computer every day after work. If anyone has tips on this it would be helpful to know.
Good camera. Love that you can immediately view drives on your phone. However, even short clips are too large to share via email which defeats the purpose if you need to provide proof to someone, like police or a lawyer. Also, interior views are not immediately available. You have to either download them from the SD card, or find them on the cloud which, so far, I have been unable to figure out how to do. Incidentally, the adhesive clips for the wire are completely useless. The first relatively warm day and they all lost their adhesion and left the cords hanging all over the interior of my car.
I love the design. It auto connects and never had an issue with connection not like other did. But problem is on exporting video. It crashed several times to create clips. And and my almost half road trip doesn’t have video at all. Simply showing the map from start to end point. I can’t believe its happening.
I really like this dash cam but ever since I bought this camera, my phone is low on battery. I wish there was a way my battery wouldn’t drain so fast with the Nexar dash cam. Other than that I love the camera.
This is an awesome camera. Very clear picture and sound. The only reason for the star loss would be that the app is a little difficult as far as viewing the inside video and it drains my phone battery very quickly.
The audio, video, external and internal are awesome even at night! I drive for Lyft and need the added security… 1st two pictures are of Nexar cam plus internal cam. Third cam is a Blink cam and subscription so my wife can view live or when she is not viewing… recorded on cloud while armed and motion detection. The near cam is better than some had reviewed. I am glad I did not listen to those bad reviews and went with my gut.
So many dash cams have terrible user interfaces. I got in a car accident with a cheap dash cam and didn’t know that it had not been saving footage for months because in order to check, I would’ve had to take the SD card out. The fact that videos immediately are available for viewing/saving from your phone and can be stored in the cloud is a lifesaver, not to mention the user interface is great. No complaints.
Pretty easy to install. It’s a little tricky to figure out how to pair it with the phone, but the chat function in the app resulted in quick customer service and a solution. I like that it has the parking mode and GPS. It does well with video in the dark as well as with clarity. One note, they don’t work with all insurance companies as yet so it is hard to determine how if at all I could generate a report for my insurance company. To be fair I have not made an extensive effort to figure this out either. I would recommend this product for someone looking to have a dashcam!

Because I have CarPlay connected, so when I manually connecting to the dash cam wifi, the CarPlay kept kicking that wifi out, so I thought it wasn’t recording, but it was ! Wow , but today it’s not recording the road, but recorded the routes they have online support, it suggest me to turn on the button ” I drive an electric car” ( even though I’m not ) , will see if it records the road tmr. Online support has real person trying to help me, but few hrs after I sent my questions ( but I’m pretty glad they actually replied) oh and the lady told me there’s SD card as a back up, even though I might not see the video on my phone, it’s already in the SD card. It will be awesome ( 5 stars) if this one can work with CarPlay bette
This is my third Nexar DashCam.
Not that the first two were trashed and no good. But this is good enough for me to buy one for each car.
Price might be a bit much, but it is priced right for me.
This is my first with rear facing second Cam. So I could see front and rear. Not. The rear facing is for cabin recording, not rear windshield recording. I will need to test if I could use extension to move the rear facing cam to the rear windshield.
I don’t like Nexar different type of mounting system. The first two I purchased were ball mount, and this third is slide mount. I mean the connections from the DashCam to the suction cup mount on the windshield. Why don’t they, all Cam companies, just choose one type.
Quality is good for day recording, but night recording is not as clear. I mean like license plate, which glow and not able to see the letter and numbers.
Nexar doesn’t have LCD screen. It has MicroSD to record in a loop. I am using max 128GB chip, which should last more days. For real time viewing, I need to connect to my smart phone with app and watch driving on the phone screen. Also, hope you are good with setup. Because sometime the app start recording automatically and sometime it doesn’t. For me, now I just connect to my app before I start driving to make sure it does recording on my phone. But you could always get recording from the MicroSD card if you don’t need to see while you are driving.
Purchased multiple dash cams, different manufacturers, looking for just the right one. This Nexar seems to have the most features I wanted. I love the instant on feature when I start my car and that it starts recording with unlimited cloud storage. I have had cheaper ones and more expensive ones. Most would require one to jump through too many hoops to view and many would require you to save the image to your phone. I don’t want to have to sit for 10 minutes setting up my dash cam every time I’m wanting to go somewhere. This one is the closest one to plug and play that I have tried. The rear camera shows a view of the car interior and occupants with a view of the outside windows which is great for Uber but I would like a little more quality of the image outside the back window. If it’s too bright one just sees a very bright rear window with minimal image although the side windows are adequate. I am more concerned about the car coming at me from behind. Clarity could be improved. I think they wanted to focus on the passengers which is excellent but I liked my rear camera on another manufacturer better. I would rather have the plug and play feature overall so I have to give and take what works for me. Overall I like this one the best so far.
Installation: very easy. Takes about 15-20 minutes if ypu take your time and want it to look sleek without the cable showing.
Video quality: amazing for the price range it is very good. The most impressive part is the night vision quality. It is extremely clear tobthe point where license plates are readable.
Compatibilty: for the first 2-3 weeks the gps was not picking up my mph, it just told me my mph for the firat 2-3 minutes of my drive and then would just say 0mph. It is now working fine. Only down side is I have a Galaxy s20+ and its not compatible with the app so some of the funtions do not work. Like I cant put phone on landscape mode while it is recording or the app closes.
Overall it is great for the price and am glad the mph ia now working. Since driving a sporta car, always have a problem getting the police’s attention for “speeding” but with the dashcam it is now easy to get the tickets dismissed… that is of coarse if im driving the speed limit at that time lol
