Although it is a very noisy machine I rate it very highly, Great smoothy maker don’t know how I loved without it. Blends incredibly much better than other makes I’ve had in the past. Would definitely recommend. Also the cups fit in my car holders big bonus

It blitzes anything and makes great smoothies, shakes and soups. The only downside is the noise level which is like an industrial drill is going in the kitchen. Not amazing for early morning smoothies

You can smoothly blend the perfect smoothie or margarita with ice in like 10 seconds! Really powerful and easy to clean but I am not going to lie it is loud. Don’t be surprised if your cat gets jumpy but it will only be for 10sec

Bought this to replace a 4 year old approx. 200 AEG blender which started to leak into its motor. Only had the Ninja for a week but so far very impressed….really easy to use, blends an orange, banana & blueberries into a smooth pure in 20-25 seconds on it’s moderate blend setting & quick to clean. My smoothie of 2-3 pieces of fruit takes up about half of the supplied container once blended. With a 2 year warranty & bought with a discount on Amazon for 70 this is great value as well.

This is my second Ninja, my previous 1st generation lasted 3yrs with daily use before the bearing in the blade/cutting tool expired.

The build quality of the 1st gen base unit and the bottles was very high, I could have just bought a new blade but fancied the 2nd generation with its IQ push button and walk away feature.

Once again high quality materials and the new bottles are nicely designed too.

An overall improvement on an already good product and my 1st gen bottles are compatible.

Easy to clean, easy to use, does the job, need I say more? This is super, and blends really well and thoroughly. There are a few different settings that gets the job done – nothing overly complicated. I love the size of cups and the fact that they can double as a container for blending and a cup for drinking and storing whatever was blended. The fact that it comes with two containers is even better; more juices to blend, while you enjoy the previous blend. Easily the best bang for the buck. I have been using it nearly every other day since it arrived.

Wow this blender is a major improvement on my current one. I had a supermarket own brand of a similar format, where the drinking cup is used as the container to blend the ingredients. It did a fairly good job but sometimes it wouldn’t blend all the ingredients fully and there would be sizable chunks in my smoothie – not very pleasant. I thought this would be the same case with the Ninja, but I was so wrong!

It really does make a smooth blend, even with ice in the mix, I think this is due to the sharp and well designed blades, but also the power of the machine.

I really like how it comes with two cups with a decent 700ml capacity each and two drinking lids. The system is super easy to use and the blade lid is a clever design meaning the contents can be kept in the same cup and just the lid changed. Great for when you need to get on the go – the morning rush to work for example. This also means a lot less cleaning than conventional blenders which you pour from!

I like how it automatically blends when the cup/blade are inserted in the correct way, and it feels secure and safe. Yes it is a bit noisy but I think I can live with that for the convenience and performance it provides. There are also other buttons on the machine which change the speed or frequency should you need use these. I personally haven’t needed too but I guess if you were blending something like nuts for example this could be quite useful.

It’s a very elegant piece of equipment, not at all garish and would sit well on most kitchen worktops without looking out of place. It is fairly compact, although it is larger than my previous blender, but I am sure this is so do with the motor and power difference.

All parts are dishwasher safe but I tend to wash them by hand anyway. The blade is also easy to clean. Comparing the blade to my previous blender, the ninja’s is easier to keep clean by being able to reach under the blades and get to hard to reach areas. The cups are also BPA free which is always a positive.

Altogether this is a good affordable blender from a premium brand, brilliant for making quick things like smoothies, pesto, sauces, etc. If you are an on-the-go type of person, this is definitely a quality product for you.

Really impressed with this blender. We have had a few smoothie makers and blenders over the years and this is one of if not the best. It copes with all kinds of ingredients including frozen fruit and icecubes. It is easy to assemble and use and not too big for storing. The unit cleans easily too, excellent.

I am going to try and explain why this is one of the best and most useful little gadgets you can have in your kitchen. Obviously one or two provisos here. You need to be someone who likes to make smoothies or protein drinks easily and without Phaff and you need to want your kitchen gadgets to earn their keep. Fortunately this one does both, and then some! I love cooking, I love my gadgets, and I really enjoy smoothies. So first up that is what I tried with this Ninja personal blender. All I could find at short notice was a handful of frozen blackberries, a brown banana, some oats and skimmed milk, I was out of sugar so I used one sweetening tablet . I put all of this into the cup, screwed on the lid which contains the blades and fixed it into the machine (all took seconds). I put it onto the short blend button which gives 30 seconds of pulsed blending and then I took the cup and blade off the machine, opened it up and hoped for the best. Well, wow !! I can tell you it was delicious, The frozen fruit had made the smoothie thick and there was adequate sweetness from the banana and sweetening tablet which I probably did not even need, Yes there were still remnants of crushed up seeds throughout, which I know will not be for everyone, but I like for the added fibre, (just choose a non pippy fruit) – the taste was out of this world. So yummy I drank the whole cup for my lunch. The colour was stunning as seen in the first photo. Now I like my kitchen machines to multi task and I am not really interested in things which only do one job and then clutter up work surfaces. So my next test was to see if the Ninja could help with other jobs. So I thought I would have a go at homous. This is in the recipe book which comes with the machine, but I like to keep fat levels down, so I used my normal recipe. Can of chickpeas drained, a little water, about a tablespoon of sesame oil, garlic granules, salt and lemon juice. It all went in and after a quick whizz with the manual button it was done as you can see in the third picture and again it was fantastic. I then thought, I would add some roasted veggies which were in the fridge and ring the changes. In the second photo you can see that there is a clear difference in colour as you start to blend. So half way through on manual I used a wooded spoon to give it a quick stir and after another whizz it was done. Far better than anything I have bought in the shops and blended better than when I use my magimix. Lastly I wanted to test it further by seeing if it could manage those little blending jobs which make using a big processor a chore. I make my own bread and always have thin crusts saved. I threw a couple in and switched on for about ten seconds on manual and I was left with perfect breadcrumbs. I added half a small onion chopped and a chopped chilli gave it another quick blast and emptied the mix into a bowl. I added turkey mince, an egg and salt and pepper. Mixed by hand and ended up with four huge spicy turkey burgers. After you are done the blender and its blade just go in the dishwasher or they take seconds to wash by hand. You get two cups and two lids so you can carry around your smoothies with the lid on which replaces the blade. Anyway in my view this little machine is excellent in every way. I have always been wanting to start building up a Ninja collection having had my eye on their air fryer for a while, so I was delighted to be given the opportunity to test this. I honestly do not think you will regret buying this, for what you are getting it is great value and the build quality is superb. I hope my review is useful to you if you are considering buying this item and that it has also demonstrated its versatility for other uses as well as smoothies and protein drinks.

This really is an excellent blender. It does the hard work for you and at the touch of a button mixes your ingredients perfectly, even ice and fruit straight from the freezer. The manual gives you tips on what order to load your ingredients to get the best results, so be sure to check that before you dive straight in. It also has a few recipe ideas to get you started. You get two large capacity cups, each with lids. The blades / cups are dishwasher proof and easy to clean. We are particularly fond of the pulse setting which intermittently turns the blender on and off at the touch of one button as opposed to you having to keep standing by it and pressing a button repeatedly!

So far we have used it to make an array of tasty fruit smoothies, milkshakes and iced coffees. Top tip, not a problem but make sure you don’t accidentally hit the buttons when detaching the cup from the blender (which my wife seems to keep doing!!)

I’ve been very impressed with this blender. I’d heard good things about the Ninja brand and this item certainly backs them up. Easy to use, easy to clean and powerful enough to ensure that food is blended or pulsed within seconds.

Full instructions are also provided with the blender but these are far from essential, given how easy the blender is to use. The two 700ml cups provided seem fairly durable and should also be large enough for most blending purposes. The blender will also look stylish in any kitchen, being black and silver in colour, so it can be left out to use, rather than put away in a cupboard like I did with my previous blender.

All in all I’m delighted with this blender, so I’m hoping to be using it in the kitchen for many years to come.

When nutrition bullets came out, we bought one and were disappointed as it wasn’t very powerful and the manual approach to blending was not particularly “automated”.

This ninja model takes care of both. We like to add frozen fruit to our smoothies and there are no complaints from this machine. Power, not an issue. It cleans up well too – a problem with our old model. Moreover the pulsing function on this will take care of the most challenging bits to blend. However, and here is the lazy spoilt git in me being catered to, I only have to press one button to set the content of the Uber convenient blending receptacle to warp speed. The machine pulses and times its process for you. So I can make a cappuccino whilst preparing the smoothie. Perfecto. I reviewed this for free, but would purchase and at this price without hesitation. Recommend – and highly.
