I live the ninja air fryer cooks everything to perfection definitely recommend to anyone that’s looking at buying one. So easy to use and clean and the fact you got everything from max crisp for fries to bake setting for baking cakes well worth the money spent.
This air fryer is great we bought a similar dual air fryer just after New year to replace a single unit as we thought it would be better having the option of 2 separate fryers in one. That air fryer was very poorly made and took ages to cook food much longer than the estimated times sometimes twice as long.
This Ninja foodi however is excellent doesn’t need to be pre warmed like many of the other units and gets up to temperature really fast. The functions are much simpler and easier to adjust and cooks food perfectly with just a slight shake halfway through cooking.
Wish we had bought this back in January instead of trying to save money on the cheaper unit.
This is my first ever air dryer, bought as I don’t really have much time to cook.
I am impressed as it is cheaper to run than a conventional oven as it cooks in less time, food comes out tender and juicy.
Easy to clean and operate, comes with a manual with guidance on cooking times. The sync function is really helpful to get your main and a side dish cooking finished at the same time.
I wish there were more recipes on the manufacturer’s website, but I am sure as more people buy this appliance and experiment, there will be more recipes uploaded.
Overall I will definitely recommend.
More than lived up to expectations, simple to use, quick and most importantly cooks well, not for everything but around 70% of our cooking is ideal, wouldn’t hesitate to buy agai
Dual trays brilliant. Real good volume, suit family of 2+2. there’s two of us so more than enough space.
Very, very versatile. Chips are great – which was my big worry.
The Ninja Food Max Dual Draw has transformed the way I use my cooker. I’ve manage not to use the oven since buying this appliance. It has reduced the amount of cooking oil use. With this turns out good food that taste really and is not greasy. With the aid of YouTube have produce some really good cooked meals quickly and effectively.
I brought the ninja with apprehension, believing I was buying something to use a few and stick in the cupboard for eternity. I have used the NInja every day and haven’t used my oven once, saving a small fortune on gas. The ninja cooks fabulously and saves so much time; meals are made within half the time
A great addition to the kitchen, makes cooking chips a doddle, anything that was previously for a deep fat frier can be used from r the ninja. Very fast cooking times too.
I like the solid metal design with two drawers with metal trays. Clear instructions about cooking various food items either in a single drawer or both. Glad I bought this and would be very handy to minimise the use of my
present electric hob cooker.
In times of rising energy costs this air fryer is a real game changer. No longer do I have to heat up the oven to bake, fry, roast or reheat a meal. Quick and easy to use, takes up less space than a microwave and the food comes out so much nicer too! It’s not just a fancy and healthier way to cook chips, although those do come out fluffy and crisp, I’ve used it for cooking sausages, chicken pieces, salmon, reheating a slice of pie where the pastry that’s stayed lovely and flaky. This model has a dehydration function too that I haven’t used yet however have some fresh herbs to try later. A good investment and I’ve seen people buy a cheaper brand only to upgrade later. I grabbed mine when I saw it on special and very pleased with my purchase.
Because this air fryer has 2 compartments that can be used individually or together gives the most amateur chef the ability to make a great meal. Easy to use and easy to clea
These are bigger than they look so you need a decent sized surface to leave on. I am totally in love with my Ninja it’s one of the best buys I have purchased so easy to use too
This air fryer is a great addition to the kitchen. We previously had a small Phillips one that was used several times a week, but found ourselves having to cook meals in stages (especially for the kids – cooking nuggets, then fries etc).
The two baskets mean that we can cook two things at once, and the controls are great – you can easily set it so that both parts finish cooking at the same time even if they need different times/temperatures.
It’s also very easy to copy settings across to the second basket, so I having to set up time and temp once.
Very easy to use once you’ve tried it a couple of times. Auto pauses the timer when you pull the basket out to shake too which is a nice touch.
I’ve only tried the air fryer seeing so far but am looking forward to trying out the other settings, in particular using the dehydrate setting on home grown peppers this year.
It’s very easy to clean. Unlike our last one which had wire baskets which were a nightmare, these are totally non stick surfaces, and there is an inner base that is readily removed for cleaning too. A quick hot soapy wash and it’s ready for next time.
First ninja product I’ve bought, but would definitely consider them in future when looking for other appliances now. Well worth the money if you use as regularly as we do.
I was so happy to finally get one of these!! Don’t think we’ll ever use our main oven again! amazing quality and so easy to clean after use! Definitely recommend.
Amazing powerful handy gadget. Once you figure out how to separate cooking mode settings between the trays 1 and 2 if you preparing different meals you good to go. It took me a while to figure out which air fryer modes to use for what type of food, coz I was lazy to read manual. Manual is an amazing guide to foods ideas you can cook with your gadget and which mode is best. Teens can make their own meals too which is awesome. No regrets at all… Bought for my loved ones as gifts and they love me for 2 life-times
I love it. I don’t know how I did without it. It cooks a vast variety of foods, and quicker than a conventional oven. It arrived in good time, abs I was able to use it straight away. Highly recommend
Am still experimenting with cooking times as guide seems to be geared to US food size e.g. bacon and chicken pieces. Sausages take 6 mins! It’s changed my cooking for ever!
I got this Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Airfryer for my hubby to use, as he likes the convenience of good quality gadgets as I do. It’s a clever air fryer that can use just one drawer or both. They can synchronise to finish at the same time, even though one needs less time or a different temperature or cooking method. It has cooked things well, it comes with a booklet on cooking times, like all airfryer machines it is a bit of trial and error, we have cooked a whole medium chicken in one drawer successfully and cooked sauted potatoes in the other. It does bake too like an oven. I like the fact the drawers and inner trays are dishwasher safe. The only thing is the size of it, I put it on an IKEA trolley I’d bought for this as our worktop space was lacking. It’s a great addition to our kitchen, I definitely recommend getting the bigger one as the drawers aren’t huge. Happy to recommend.
Only had the appliance a couple of weeks but found the controls very simple to use and the cooking of the various foods turned out to be satisfactory. When cooking make sure you shake or turn the the food regularly for even cooking and to ensure the food is not over cooked or burnt. Use the instruction booklet as a guide for cooking the various foods, not set in stone.
Use this probably 4/5 times a week. Quicker than using the conventional oven and cooks without oil so much healthier.
Trying to find a recipe book that is not American so I can do more with it.
Operation of the dual zone is very easy and the results can be perfect however finding the correct temperature is the key, it takes some trials but the results are worth it.
Finding a cook book for the dual is possible but most are none UK.
Have used it every day since bought it, am trying to lose weight and really helping as not using oil, the dual is great as can cook separate meals at same time
So glad I got this. Saves on so much time and extra cost of using the oven. And it actually cooks nicer than the oven does! You can keep checking and shaking and get it exactly how you like. The only thing is that it still has a smell like a fryer.. I’m sure that’s unavoidable but oddly I wasn’t expecting it to, so for me it definitely needs used near a window or extractor fan.
I have had my Ninja for a week and am find8ng it fantastic. I am 82 years old and thought it would be a nightmare to learn how to use but quite the opposite it is easy, and very adaptable. The pictures show my first offerings of little cakes. Just a small amount of mix, 4,4,4 & 2 eggs made 10 little cakes, 5 with butter icing and 5 fruit. I wasn’t sure of timing so just put on for 10 mins and then increased a few minutes at a time until happy. I really should write the timing down and will next time. The pork chops were amazing., just rubbed with oil, and then added salt and sage & onion herbs. I had the chops in one basket for 12 mins on air fry and the baked potatoes in the other for an hour, turning over each half way through. Potatoes too big delivered by Tesco but my hubby loves his baked pots. I saved one of mine for the following day. As you can tell I am very excited and pleased with my air fryer, the dual max 2.
So pleased I bought this I’ve now cooked every type of meat and had excellent results. It cooks in half the time as my oven so saving money on electric, can eat a roast dinner in 30 minutes!
Since buying, I have used my ninja daily, and I haven’t used the oven at all. I made bread rolls yesterday on the dehydrate and then bake settings, egg on toast, gorgeous homemade chips and wedges. I would definitely get the bigger version for a family of 4 but I love this one. It can cook wet foods but I wouldn’t cook a soup for example. Cupcakes were amazing but I wouldn’t cook broccoli although things like roasted Brussels would probably be very nice. No downsides so far but you will need worksurface space, it’s too big and heavy to store in a cupboard and it needs room all around to allow airflow otherwise it could overheat. It must not be placed on a cooker either. Overall 5 star product.
I haven’t any negative comments re my Ninja, it’s brilliant. The dual drawers great as I often sync the cooking time when one product needs a longer cooking time than the other it keeps the second drawer on hold until its cooking time kicks in, so both items are ready at the same time, very clever.
I bought this to replace my old air fryer.
I’m really loving it. Makes far superior frozen or fresh chips. Great for cooking sausage, bacon with no fat.
Looking forward to cooking other foods.
Very easy to clean.
Wanted something easier to use, quicker than an oven & easier to clean. The features are handy, I wouldn’t say the chips etc are better than fat fried but they are a healthier alternative & better than oven cooking. You do need to shake chips midway though for a decent result and not burnt Chips.
It says the trays are dish wasable. There’s no way that non stick coating & plastic chrome’s (I’ll come on to that) looks dish washable. In fact when reading other reviews people had commented that their non stick has begun to peel. Mine has peeled slightly on the top respite hand washing & no where in that location for it to scrape on after a few days use. They said return it but what’s the point when Amazon doesn’t have the model back in stock for the price I got it for. They don’t do replacements. If it gets worse or in the tray itself I’ll have to.
For the price of the unit I’d expect metal chrome trims and handles. Not the cheap plastic Chrome they use. I was very disappointed about that. Overall, cosmetics aside it is a good unit. Much easier and quicker to cook and I don’t regret the purchase. I just wished they took a bit more pride in their build considering the cost compared to competitors.
I had a tower air fryer which I used a lot, but with my husband, 2 kids and myself, I’ve been meaning to get a larger unit for some time. I finally took the plunge and splurged on the Ninja Foodi dual air fryer, giving me the room to cook more and two seperate items at once. Tonight I did fries in one side and BBQ chicken griddles in the other for my two children which took 15 minutes! The functions are easy to use and are self explanatory, but a helpful manual and booklet gives you illustrated instructions how to use and care for the unit, the best settings and temps to use for various items and a few recipe suggestions at the back. I synced my items so my fries could cook for 20 minutes and the griddles at 15 minutes would start 5 minutes after the fries started cooking to ensure cooking completed at the same time. This is a great function, however I found my fries cooked quicker than expected so I reduced the temp and cooking time. Unfortunately the fries did not hold on this occasion and wait for the griddles to catch up, the sync function only works at the start of the cooking set up and as far as I can see, although the food can be adjusted temp and time wise at any time, it will not resync during the cooking period. I may discover a way to do this with more use, as I only got the unit today and it will take some practice on seeing how long foods take to cook. However the two items cooked to perfection and the unit did what it claimed to do. The crisper and drawers clean easily, I’m very pleased so far!
I have been an air-fryer fan since acquiring my first one twelve months ago, and am enthusiastic about the whole process. The one major fault of the previous air-fryer was simply that one could only cook one item/course at a time, which inevitably meant keeping the one item hot in the conventional oven whilst the second course cooked. Not always an effective solution.
Step up the Ninja.
Its major benefit is the two “fryers”. Two courses can effectively be cooked at the same time; the fryer can even be programmed so the two finish at the same moment. Admittedly I have not made great use of this feature as it is easy enough to work out beforehand how long each course will take and commence them cooking accordingly — each drawer can be used completely independently.
And what a range of cooking methods it can cope with; I routinely air-fry, bake and roast, but there are several other methods available. About the only thing one cannot do is anything involving liquids to any degree.
Chips are absolutely wonderful cooked in an air-fryer — crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, and as an additional bonus the Ninja has a “max crisp” function, whereby one can maximise the crispness, though one is advised to keep an eye on this during cooking, as it’s easy to go one step beyond crispness!
A very acceptable steak can be cooked in the fryer, and pies and similar are done to perfection. One can even roast a whole (small) chicken. Fresh fish are absolutely wonderful cooked in the fryer, soft and flaky white flesh nicely grilled and browned on the surface.
As each function is selected, the fryer so adjusts the required temperature and cooking time, although these can be (and often are) manually overridden as they may not be quite right for one’s taste. Indeed one can disregard the default settings for each function and manually select the temperature and cooking time to one’s own preference.
The fryer drawers can be opened during cooking which pauses the timer, whilst one turns or “tosses” the food product (essential in some cases and especially with chips), and can be stopped prematurely should the food be cooked earlier than anticipated.
The machine is admirably designed and constructed. I was personally a tad concerned about all the flashy chrome; a flashy exterior can often conceal a less than adequate interior. Not with the Ninja, the machine is robust and strong, the drawers themselves, and especially the “crisper plates” — the raised trays the food sits on, are very robust, something my previous air-fryers’ weren’t.
The only thing I cannot attest to is durability, as I have only had the machine a little less than two months. However it is used every day, and continues to perform splendidly.
My conventional oven is these days used for little other than a plate warmer.
Wanted one for absolutely ages and had to save such a time saver for cooking everything mess is contained, less time spent in the kitchen overall would recommend.
Bought this for my mother. She absolutely loves it. She uses it everyday.
It easy to
Clean doesn’t take lots time to cook is good stuff with spending money for this good is very good when the meat vegetable come out off the oven EXCELLENT thanks Ruth
What’s not to like?? We absolutely love this machine. We were Ninja fans already but this is the best purchase we’ve ever made. We hardly ever use the cooker and oven anymore. And whatever we put in the Ninja comes out tasting absolutely delicious! And with A LOT LESS oil or fat on it, double bonus!
I bought this even though I’m single and live alone solely for the pure convenience of cooking two things at the same time and having a whole meal ready at one beep! This air-fryer delivers!
Been pondering for a while to get this product, simply put, its amazing, and so easy and convenient to use, my oven is now redundant, everything cooks so much quicker and nicer may I add. Highly recommended, you won’t be sorry 5 stars
Realy impressed all singing all dancing have cooked all sorts of things wether air frying or roasting works a treat (have only had it for a week) but so far so good
I’ve never written a review so quickly. I received this air fryer at 6pm, it’s now 7pm and I’ve made (and eaten) my first dinner! I did something simple to start off with, so I heated up some casserole in the microwave while some chips were in the air fryer. My brother has had a ninja foodi for ages and he keeps telling me to get one because they’re so fab. Not only can you cook quicker, the food comes out so crispy, it’ll save electric, blah blah blah. So I gave in and ordered this. Well, I’m sat here with a full belly and a smile on my face, because, even though I haven’t tested it on everything yet, the chips were amazing. Seriously the best I’ve had for years. So light and crispy, and stayed crispy throughout my entire meal. I like a good portion of frozen skinny chips (enough for two people, I’m a pig, what can I say?) and they were cooked to perfection in 11 minutes. I’m so chuffed because the time it took to cook them, my oven would still be heating up! I can’t wait to try everything else now. It’s times like these where having a big brother has turned out to be handy! Lol.
Edit.ok, so my opinion unfortunately on this item has changed completely. I had it for a few weeks, and some things like chips were fantastic, but other things took ages to cook, which is not what I expected. I was beginning to think, did I pay nearly 200 just to do a few chips? Then drawer no 2 kept cancelling itself out during cooking. I thought I hadn’t programmed it correctly, but it kept doing it. It would start cooking, then just stop, then both of them did it, so clearly it was faulty, so I’ve had to return it. I still wanted an air fryer, so looked for a simple, cheaper option, which I bought and love so much, I got two! So, I’ve got two, simple, effective air fryers for way less money than this one cost. It’s a shame, but I’m happy.
This is the best piece of kitchen equipment I have purchased in the past few years, Easy to use, and food is beautifully cooked. Handbook give lots of examples for cooking different foods.
I’m a 77 year old male living alone and hardly a cook. I bought the Ninja dual more in hope than expectation, and it’s exceeded my expectations. It’s early days yet but I am loving it and have used it for nearly every main meal I have eaten since I purchased it. A tiny bit of trial and error was involved in adjusting times and temperatures. However if I can use it and cook a decent meal anybody can.
So easy to use and cleaning the components is so quick and easy. The food is cooked to perfection without numerous pans involved and what can I say, every kitchen should have one.
Brought this a few months ago now to replace a previous airfreight. This does something more than air fry. Roasting is great & other things. I honestly believe I would be lost without this. It cooks quickly, evenly and so easy to keep clean.
The product arrived scratched from Amazon, a month later, and with 8 phone calls (one of them being a manager called Carol hanged up on me) nothing has been resolved.
The item has been out of stock, I was told I had to check if it comes back in to get an exchange which is very strange to me, to be left to check every day for an Amazon item.
It was very confusing & stressful as I was inundated with e-mails from Amazon giving me labels for a refund just after I spoke to them saying I don’t want a refund (computer says nooooo) situation.
It seems everything goes well with Amazon if you don’t want an EXCHANGE EVER!!!!!
The Air Fryer works as it should and is a brilliant addition to the kitchen, but it is still unsightly to see those starches it came with.
It seems Amazon customer service has been reading off a screen and has been no help whatsoever.
I hope these issues get resolved as it’s a very good gadget and it works good for me & the family.
COME ON AMAZON PULL YOUR FINGER OUT AND DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice gadget, can keep veggie stuff separate, cooks evenly and quickly. One drawer has warped a little but it still works with no problems at all. I certainly buy another when needed.
I was scepticle at first about this as I haven’t tried a air frier before.
But, since I have got this it took a couple of days to adjust and learn the cooking times, now I haven’t had to use my oven once for ages.
Food cooks better, faster and just seems tastier.
The two trays are big enough to fit food for a family of 4 or 5 easily. Give it a shake 1 or 2 times during cooking and they come out nice and even.
Build quality is fantastic, nice clean modern design and it is so easy to clean.
I can see this being the best thing I’ve bought for the kitchen since forever!
This is a brilliant piece of kit! Looks smart, is well built, easy to use & easy to clean. Very happy and would highly recommend. This is a game changer. Don’t hesitate, buy this
Love this air fryer. Cooked wedges, chicken, veg and fish in it so far. Cooked the fish on baking paper which turned out really well. I’ve also done a saucy tomato dish by putting a glass container in there that is suitable for oven cooking.
We’ve used our conventional oven precisely 3 times in the month since we got this amazing bit of kit. Cooked all sorts in it, including a 1.6KG whole fresh chicken which took just 60 mins and was the best whole chicken we have ever tasted (we cooked enough roast potatoes in the other side to fill 3 hungry adults, all cooked in less than 20 mins and synced to finish same time as the chicken).
Dauphinoise potatoes in an air fryer?? Absolutely, and cooked to perfection too! Bacon for the weekend fry up done in absolutely no time, Sausages no problem at all and cook so quickly without burning. The possibilities are endless with this game-changer of a kitchen appliance! Our best buy kitchen appliance by a country mile.
And, at the current rate of leccy savings this will pay for itself in less than 12 months! What’s not to like?
100% recommended
Easy to use. Cooks everything perfectly. Is fantastic for baked potatoes, corn on the cob, roasted vegetables etc and also makes amazing fish. Use it most nights and the sync function is an added bonus. Would totally recommend if you have the worktop space to have it out all the time as it’s big and would be a bit of a faf trying to lift it in and out of a cupboard on a regular basis.
Absolutely fabulous bit of kit. Bought as a replacement for a cheap one that was a bit worn out after 5 years regular use and it does the job perfectly. Sync is only situationally useful, most meals I don’t have a use for two baskets but when it is used it works well.
Air frying is the way forward. I have reduced oven use by half and hob use by a quarter. Cleans well in the dish washer as well as by hand. The user needs to follow the cooking instructions in most instances. Don’t forget to shake!
This is the best kitchen appliance I’ve ever had! Used most days by all the family for cooking anything from fresh chicken and fish to frozen chips. Really easy to use and clean! Just bought one as a gift and the recipient said it’s the best present ever! The only problem is once you have one Ninja you have to buy more!!!!
You know when you have been looking into buying a product but wonder if you really will use it or it ends up in a cupboard gathering dust. Well I wish I had bought one years ago. Easy to use, easy to clean. Quality of the cooked food is amazing. And it looks nice too. Highly recommend. It’s a bit big for just 2 of us but when the family arrive its sufficiently big enough to cook plenty for them.
Love this machine between this and my foodi 7 in 1, I have not used my hob or oven for 3 months when I got my first ninja. Easy to use, easy to clean, cooks food really well.
From chips to chickens (see photo) it is amazing
I have used this product almost e dry day since purchasing it.
It’s incredibly convenient and has produced some of the most delicious food I’ve made at home.
The options can be a bit overwhelming at first, but don’t be afraid to experiment and see what works for you.
It’s easy to clean, but is quite large, so does take up a large surface area.
Highly recommendable if you’re looking for a great air fryer to use regularly.
Well what can I say, this dual air fryer is an absolute game changer.
It’s easy to use and do a multitude of things apart from air fry. I love the fact how you can set both at different times and temperature and they finish at the same time. It’s easy to navigate the menu even without the manual. As with all ninja products you know you are getting a quality kitchen product that out preforms it’s competition. This is not the only ninja product I own an it will surly not be the last I buy. Next on my want list is the pressure cooker to go with this and my maxi grill. I mean these 2 along have made my cooker obsolete and hardly ever used.
When it comes to cleaning it’s a simple process of taking out the 2 draws an giving them a empty an clean with hot water an a microfibre cloth..
I can not recommend this amazing product enough and if your thinking of getting one don’t think just do it you won’t regret it at all
The ninja dual zone Air fryer has a huge 7.6 L total capacity. There is two individual baskets which are 3.8 L each. It has six programs, which are Air fry, roast, bake, dehydrate, Max crisp and reheat. If you are only going to use one of the baskets then zone one is the default zone to cook with, but what I particularly like about this is that for instance you can air fry at 200 in zone one for 30 minutes and you can roast in zone two at 180 for 20 minutes at the same time by pressing sync and then start. This will start zone one and when it reaches the 20 minute timer zone two will come off of hold and start roasting. If you remove the basket such as for chips to give them a shake, then the timer will pause until The basket is re-inserted and if both zones are cooking it will pause both timers. The other option that I really like which is nice and easy and can maximise your output if you’re cooking the same thing, For example if you had to Air fryer 1.5 kg of chips. Then place your chips in both baskets and on the zone one display enter in your temperature timer and press match then start. This will duplicate all of the information to zone two, Which makes it easy and super efficient. The max crisp is set at 240 and this is the only function that The temperature can’t be changed, and it could be set to a maximum time of 30 minutes. The air fryer function can be set between 150 and 210 and has a time range between 1 minute to 1 hour. The roast function allows you to use the ninja as a conventional oven which has a temperature range of 120 to 210 and has a timer that can be set from one minute to four hours. The reheat function has a temperature setting of 130 to 210 and can be set from 1Minute to One hour. The dehydrate function allows you to gently remove moisture from meat, vegetables and fruits. This temperature can be set between 40 to 90 and has a set time of up to 12 hours allowing you to create healthy snacks. The bake function means that you don’t have to wait the usual 10 to 15 minutes that your conventional oven would take to pre-heat Which is perfect if you just want to knock up a quick dessert. The temperature setting is 120 to 210 and has a time range between 1 minute to 4 hours. This ninja air fryer is super easy to clean, compare to my previous Tower Air fryer baskets. Overall we are very satisfied with our purchase as it has so many functions, Not just an air fryer. I hope you have found my review helpful.

What can I say to do justice to this. My oven hasn’t been on since buying it. So economical, quick and easy to use. Wish I had bought it long ago. A healthy option to conventional cooking.
I usually eat fish and chips one day a week cooked in the oven Using the ninja is a lot better. I was surprised how much better the fish and chips turned out. When I have a fried breakfast on a weekend it’s much easier to use the ninja, hash browns in one drawer and sausage and bacon in the other. Cooked at different temperatures and time but synchronised to be ready at the same time and tasting better than fried. As I get more used to it I will get more daring with what I cook in it. I took a photo copy of the instructions and encapsulated it and keep it by the ninja for reference.
I had a tefal Actifry original which was great for oven chips and then saw a friend with a Ninja. I needed a bit more versatility and space than the actifry could give and took this plunge. Brilliant bit of kit. I’m into West Indian cooking and this Ninja does my chicken just right. You can’t use it for “everything” but I’ve almost tried. Brilliant for fish, prawns, chicken and Steaks (medium, medium rare ribeye!)
Does take practice. You’ll burn a few things if you don’t pay attention to turning your food but the “Sync” feature is Brilliant. Roasted vegetables one side and Trout the other! Oven has been relegated to Garlic Bread prep..!
I purchased the Ninja Foodi to try and expand on my everyday meal choices. You know, same dishes week in,week out.I wanted to have more choice, but eat healthier without being a slave to the hob.
I have used this for a week now and it’s fantastic.I air-fried my usual sausages instead of shallow frying and i couldn’t believe it.So crispy on the outside and really succulent on the inside. All within 8 minutes.I air-fried some sweet potato wedges, they were superb.I have also cooked a piece of salmon, sublime;chicken fillet, home made burger.
Basically this machine will cook all of your food quicker than frying or baking and to another level.
The Ninja Foodi has 2 baskets with removable crisping trays. They are really easy to clean and are dishwasher safe.
The other features are Max crisp.Roast.Reheat.Dehydrate and Bake;Yes you can bake a cake.
Another great attribute is that it has a sync button. While cooking 2 different dishes at different cooking times, they are both cooked at the same time.
I’m sure that in a few weeks time i would have probably tried out all of the cooking options the Ninja Foodi has to offer.Did i mention that it also looks very sleek and stylish.
I’ve been looking at getting one of these for a while now, and I’m so glad I finally decided to take the plunge and buy one! It is quite big, it takes up roughly the same amount of room on the counter top as my microwave (leaving enough room around the machine to ensure proper air flow for the vents etc). It is so easy to use, we have made loads of things in it already (see a few pictures I have added) fish, meats, potato wedges, halloumi fries (sooo nice!) and I’ve even used it for cooking frozen chicken nuggets/fish fingers using the ‘Max Crisp’ button when I’ve needed to do a quick meal for my little girl. It cooks everything so quickly and with great results, so much better than using my normal oven. The chicken wings we cooked in particular came out amazing, almost like they had been cooked on a BBQ. The ‘Sync’ function on the 2 drawers is amazing, I can have 2 different things cooking 2 different ways at 2 different temperatures and times but they’re ready together as the Ninja ‘holds’ the drawer that needs less cooking until it’s time to go. I have yet to cook a whole chicken/joint of meat but I plan to soon, we have used it nearly every day since buying it, so definitely worth the money. A few tips I would point out is to try and not overfill the drawers, a single layer works best and to shake the drawers a couple times while cooking, especially for things like wedges/chips/chicken wings etc. You simply wash the drawers and crisper trays in hot soapy water and they’re good as new. I love it, so happy with my purchase, I would totally recommend.
I am not a techy person or like buying different machines, but as a mother of 3 and busy household this has been a game changer for me in the kitchen. I use it every day. I would recommend to anyone.
Had this machine for a couple of months now and have used most functions. It really is an excellent machine. Cooks everything so well and much faster than your oven or hob which is perfect for busy families. I love that you can cook 2 different things at once. It’s easy to clean too.
It’s quite big so you do need to make sure you have room for it.
I bought this to replace a very good Yr old breville halo and was sceptical at first due to the price but no regrets here at all.
One of the best products bought by us to date. It is an oven but the fact you don’t have to preheat it and use it like a Microwave… Brilliant. It cooks chicken breasts brilliantly, chicken wings and roasts the potatoes so well. Fries… not so much. Have to find the ideal settings for it.
This is the air fryer to be had . Love it easy to use cooks well , easy to clean no more , delivery s with half the order missing get one of these and be ya own burger bar better than any fast food chain out there x
Absolutely love this!! I had been debating for a while whether to get an airfyer but eventually went for it, and I’m so glad I did! I use it almost every day and haven’t switched on the oven since. We are a family of six and it’s big enough to feed us all. The sync and match functions are great and generally it’s very easy to use.
I would highly recommend this produc
I wished I have got this earlier. Imagine one teaspoon of oil for a traditional Malaysian fried chicken in which we normally soak in a bath of oil! . It was so crispy and the sweet potato chips were also crispy slightly burnt because I forgot to check on it. If you can’t avoid fried food but wants to get the healthier version of it, get this product! You be can cook two things at different temperature at the same time or match to use both sides at the same time. And oh, it’s dish washer safe as well.
I’ve had this now for cupel
Months so I though it’s time to review . so far very happy with how well it works with different kind of food but I must say chips cook better in a tefal fryer part from that it’s brilliant bit of kit to have in any kitche
This is excellent easy to clean and use. Rated in my top ten of purchases. I love it. I like the drawers at the front and how it can be synced so both drawers finish together. This is a must have for the kitche
Originally bought this so I could quickly cook what the kids wanted during lockdown. It seemed overkill to heat a whole oven for a tray of chicken nuggets so using the air fryer for 10 minutes instead of 25 minutes in the oven achieved that goal. Since buying it though, I’ve really expanded my cooking portfolio. I typically roast a chicken to a better standard than in the oven in 50 minutes, so we have a meal of roast chicken. Then with the leftovers we have a chicken curry (not in the air fryer). I also cook jacket potatoes more often – rolled in olive oil and garlic salt, no need to fork it or foil it, just give the pot a rustle every 15 mins to fully cooked at 45 minutes. Cooks to the darkest brown and more delicious then in the oven as well as quicker. it cooks smoked bacon to fat charred perfection. Peri Peri Chips out of the freezer taste like nandos fries in about 10 minutes. I am sure there is more I will do with it, but hopefully this inspires anyone thinking of investing in one – just make sure to leave room around it as it gets quite hot cooking.
This is our first air fryer. Quite a few of my friends had told me that they loved their air fryer so after a bit of market research we chose the Ninja because of its large basket (we are a family of 5), ease of use, and it’s easy cleaning.
It cooks food in about 75% of the stated time on a packet. Eg. If the packet says oven cook in 20 minutes, this cooks it in 15 minutes. That’s great, but what’s greater is that there is no warm up time. So that 15 minutes cooking time is probably half the time compared to the oven as it would take a while for an oven to warm up.
We have cooked stuffing balls in 8 minutes, chicken nuggets in 8 minutes and cinnamon buns in about 9 minutes. Washing up is one large bowl and the tray at the bottom. Easy.
I bought this to replace a 4-year-old Duronic air fryer. This gave great service and, if there was a larger version, I would have stayed with Duronic. I went for Ninja after being impressed with my Shark vacuum cleaner. Shark and Ninja are the same company. It took a while to get used to but I am now very impressed with it, It is easy to clean apart from removing the trivet whilst still hot. I have a burn on my forearm to remind me. I solved this problem by fitting a keyring which enables me to get some leverage under it to remove. A bit like me: simple but effective.
To date no problems. I am able to handle much bigger portions of food and even roasted a beef joint very successfully. Also toasted sandwiches which are a nice addition to mid-day lunch. As is my custom,. I shall update if there are any problems but, to date, I am quietly impressed with my Ninja.
Superb Build Quality,Very easy to clean,Very easy to use and it is a very quiet machine compared to other machines that I have used.I would totally recommend this machine.I recently Cooked a Leg of Lamb in it along with Potatoes and veggies and I have to say that the final result was superb..no more slaving over a Hot Oven and juggling pots and Pans.TheNinja really makes cooking a breeze and the food is fat and grease free.If I could have given it 10 Stars I would have done.Thank you Ninja from one very happy Customer.
I don’t normally cook but this has made it easy for me. I used to hate the cooking time needed but this really has cut down the time for me. I like that I can roast and fry things in it. You have to get used to getting the temperature and length of time to cook right. I have had quite a few crispy chickens. I’ve made loads of health snacks like sweet potato fries and it actually comes out well.
I can honestly say that it has reduced my cooking and cleaning duration greatly and I use it almost every day now. My only downside is that I would avoid putting it on and walking away cause you can easily over cook your food.
Thank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.
Great product, only disappointment is having been unable to find an English cookbook, only American ones available. Comes with a very limited handbook with timings for different foods. Air fryer makes the best chips and roast potatoes.
When I purchased my Ninja AF100UK air fryer, I fully expected that I would be using it to cook a few chips a little more healthily. How wrong I was. Yes the chips are excellent but so are many other things.
Steak is incredible, because you are cooking from the outside in, it tasted as good as any steak I have ever eaten in a restaurant. I have even cooked a 1.5 kg chicken in it. I put a little oil over the chicken, used my usual seasoning and cooked it for 50 minutes breast side down, turned it over and cooked it for a further 10 minutes, it tasted as if it had been spit roasted. I am a keen cook and have really enjoyed experimenting. Roasted chickpeas, part baked bread, bacon and sausages, toasted sandwiches and so much more. Anything you can cook in an oven or under a grill, you can cook in an AF but you need to check the times, AF cook a little more quickly and use a meat thermometer to check internal temperatures. This trendy little gadget is brilliant. We are a retired couple and find it a perfect size for the two of us.
Absolutely love this. Wish I’d bought it ages ago. Hardly use my main oven. Brilliant for busy families as can cook smaller meals more economically. So quick and easy to use. Love the options of matching and syncing. The food tastes so much better (and my boys agree) Absolutely brilliant for heating up leftovers like Sundays roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings as though freshly cooked in just 6 minutes. Up to half the cooking time. English breakfast? Sausage, bacon, black pudding, hash browns. A doddle. Pastries? Lush. Chios, breaded fish/chicken. Easy Peasy.
Love it!!
My wife and I have looked at these for a while and the decision to purchase came after once again having to clean the deep fat fryer and dispose of a large quantity of old oil. There are only two of us to cook for most of the time so huge capacity is not needed and apart from the cleaning time having to wait for about 4 litres of oil to heat when only wanting to cook a few chips seems a waste of time as well as a waste of electricity.
We have used Ninja items before so thought the quality would be OK and we were right. This seems a well made item. It is very easy to use with the controls on the touch panel and has plenty of capacity for anything we want and more. Compared with deep fat frying it is amazing. Heat up time is massively reduced. Cooking time is similar and clean up time is a quick wash with warm water plus wash up liquid and job done. The food is at least as good as deep fat fried and sometimes better and we are not contributing to all the problems associated with fat build up blocking sewerage systems.
It is not a total replacement for the deep fat fryer and still looking at successfully cooking some items but not being able to easily cook our prawn crackers and popadoms is not really a major failing.
It’s not often we can say we love the product and are helping the environment.

We had a Tefal Actifry but after a couple of years that completely gave up the ghost. The reason why we bought an Actifry was due to the paddle, but we always felt there was something “off” about it. It didn’t feel very well built, the paddle broke after about a year and the fit between the lid and body was poor, so a lot of hot air escaped. It was also quite noisy.
After a couple of years of light/moderate use the heater element completely burned out so we got rid and decided to go for a non-paddle air fryer.
Having seen the reviews of Tefal’s – again a lot of citing poor build quality, we looked for another brand and happened across the Ninja air fryer. Persuaded by the very favourable reviews we decided to get one. A wise choice!
Now obviously the major difference between the Actifry and the Ninja is that the Ninja doesn’t have a paddle, which means that food needs to be shaken to ensure even cooking – no big deal.
First impressions when we received it was that the build quality in comparison to the Actifry is night and day. The Ninja feels so much more solid. The pan and crisper plate are ceramic coated rather than Teflon, which also lends itself to a higher quality feel. The machine itself is much quieter in operation and the temperature controls are also very welcome – something that was very much missing from our Actifry. Also very welcome are the 4 cooking options – air fry, roast, dehydrate and reheat. So far we’ve only used the air fry function but we’ll definitely be trying the others at some point.
Cooking results so far have been excellent – we have cooked frozen chips, baby potatoes and fresh cut chips (yes we like our potatoes). What amazes me is the speed at which this thing cooks. With the Actifry it would take around 40 minutes to cook fresh cut chips, and even then they may need a little longer. With the Ninja we found that fresh cut chips took around 25 minutes – or 30 minutes if we wanted them extra crisp. It is far quieter than the Actifry and clean up is also much easier, as there are less items to clean – only the pan and crisper plate in comparison to the Actifry’s lid, fan filter, pan and paddle.
I’m looking forward to trying different foods in this that wouldn’t have been possible in the Actifry, such as baked potatoes, roasted veg, and for drying out fruit using the dehydrate function.
As you can tell, I am very impressed and given the higher build quality I am expecting to get many years’ use out of it. At first glance it may seem a bit more limited in use than the Actifry due to the lack of paddle, but in actuality this makes it more versatile as you can use it to cook more delicate foods that would otherwise have been broken up by the paddle.
Highly recommended!
Absolutely love it and use it almost daily, whether for frying bacon, cooking fish fillets or making a chicken casserole. It cooks steaks and burgers perfectly- succulent, tender and full of flavour. Sceptical at first but quickly became converted to its merits and usefulness. Very straightforward to use although initially there was a bit of trial and error with timing as the accompanying booklet was useless! Would also recommend Paul Brodel’s Hot Air Frying book as this is aimed at the UK market and really helped me broaden my recipe repertoire.
LIGHT TO CARRY AND EASILY STORED AND ALL THIS IN A CAMER VAN”PRECIOUS”.
I WAS A PESSIMIST ABOUT THIS MACHINE, BUT BLESS HER SHE IS ABSOLUTLY FANTASTIC.
EVERYTHING ITS SAYS IS TRUE, CLEAN COOKING, EASY TO USE, DOES CATER FOR ALL TASTES AND THE TIMINGS ARE PRETTY ACCURATE. THERE IS LOADS OF SPACE TOO, EASY ENOUGH FOR A DEENT SIZED WHOLE CHICKEN.
SMOKED GARLICS AND BREADS TO DIE FOR. I CAN WITHOUT THINKING I AM HONEST IN SAYING I CAN RECCOMEND THIS MACHINE TO ANYONE. NO SMOKE AS I HAVE PREVIOUSLY READ JUST THE SMELL OF BEAUTIFUL FOOD.ITS WELL WORTH THE MONEY, ITS PAID FOR ITS SELF ALREADY AS I LOVE IT!! WHAT A STAR WHAT A MACHINE AND REALLY IS HEALTHY. WELL IM NOT AS I CANT STOP COOKING. GO FOR IT!!
Best chips ever as good as fried….
1. Peel and cut your chips
2. Rinse in a bowl of water until the water is clear
3. Drain them off
4. Put back into the bowl and microwave for a few mins
5. Tip out onto a tea towel or kitchen roll and leave to steam for a bit and put the fryer on to get hot.
6. Back into the bowl and a TSP or.2 of oil and toss
7. Put in fryer and fry
8. Serve with bread and butter so you can make butties
Let’s face it, you can buy a functioning air fryer for a third of the price, but this is in a different league if you want something you can use for a lot more than chips on a daily basis. It’s very well-built, with a ceramic non-stick lining for the cooking pan, and it’s surprisingly quiet. Though it is big and looks like something from an SUV design workshop, it doesn’t take up much space, and the size means you can make good use of its flexible temperature control and options to essentially replace your main oven for small quantities.
The photo is of butternut squash roasted with a little olive oil for 20 minutes: it’s just not worth heating your main oven for that. Once you realise its potential as a serious cooking tool, you’ll find yourself re-thinking recipes to make the most of it, and if you’re not a fan of the microwave, you can easily use it to re-heat a meal for one.
It doesn’t come with accessories, so you’d be wise to invest in some silicone-tipped tongs for turning and picking up food, and as with all new kitchen equipment, it takes a while to get used to it; if your budget stretches this far, it’s worth buying.
Well, what a great bit of kit!
The trays are massive and the food comes out better and crisper than it’s deep fried counter part.
We have fried and dehydrated some items so far and we couldn’t been happier.
Tip, do check your food every 10 mins and give it a flip the outside can get really crispy quick!
I have given this product 5 stars would of given it another as it fits in my cupboard perfectly…..
I bought this as a present for myself after seeing advertisements. Well, I couldn’t be happier with it – I don’t even keep it in a cupboard as it’s used several times a week. What a fantastic machine! To be honest I don’t use the dehydrate feature as often as I’d thought I would, purely because of the long dehydrate time & minimal space, but I was aware of that prior to purchase. It nicely dries a couple of cut up apples in one go, but I’ve lost interest in that function now. The air fry function is a godsend – frozen sausages take less than 20 mins (fresh ones about 12 mins) with no mess, they brown beautifully too. And home-made schnitzel crisped to perfection in 10 minutes with just a spritz of oil, much healthier than traditional frying. And the heat-up function is SO much better than a microwave – for things like leftover pizza, or anything battered or breaded, it brings the food back to life rather than the stale taste you get from a microwave. Very easy to use with clear instructions. Highly recommend.
This is the first air fryer i have owned and so far ive cooked:
frozen (vegan) sausages (8-10mins)
Frozen vegan burgers (10mins)
Frozen chips (18 mins)
Frozen Vegan fish fingers (8mins)
Frozen Vegan battered fishless steak (10 mins)
Frozen Vegan sausage rolls (15mins, on a bake setting)
This machine has halved the cooking time for these things to have cooked in an oven. Also needed no oil for any of the frozen stuff.
I am so far happy with the machine. Its easy to clean, fits in enough food, although i think a square basket rather than a round one would have been better. It doesnt make too much noise and looks nice and sleek in my kitchen.
I love this product. After buying a Pressure Cooker I felt I needed something else in my life that made food tastier and healthier. Enter the Ninja.
I’ve cooked various things and I find that where possible bake things first and then air fry to crisp up. Works a treat. The breadcrumb effect is wonderful for so many things and I’m enjoying eating homemade air fried schnitzel, chicken, and fish. The homemade chips are devine and come out perfectly crisp every time. If your short on time throw a jacket potato in the microwave and air fry it for a crisp exterior.
If you’re looking for a new kitchen gadget and want to have the crispy crunch of deep fried food without the deep fried smell and added calories this is the machine for you.
The great thing about a ninja product is that they’re well built and reliable. This isn’t any different and is a solid price of machine. When you open the drawer to shake or check on the food it stops and restarts when the drawer is replaced. Cleaning is super easy and it fits nicely away in my cupboards. I’d recommend to anyone.
The 3.8 litre is perfect for my family of three but I think 4+ would need the next size up.
This thing is a BEAST! Bought because or old one was lost in a house fire so we took the chance and upgraded. We had the 3.6kg model that cooks everything really well including steaks, pork chops and every veg we’ve thrown in there. Frozen chicken nuggets, bang no problem 12 minutes and your done. Frozen potatoes waffles, alphabytes, chicken drum sticks whoosh 15 minutes and they done. Only down side to the machine is you can’t detach the ceramic bowl so it’s just a quick swill with warm soapy water and it’s ready to go. Ive made beef jerky with it and dehydrated apple and banana pieces which are divine! Super simple to use and twice as fast as our oven and older machine. Wish I had bought the bigger one now!
I bought this after seeing a YouTube video review. It’s a beast. You can cook frozen chips in it and they come out so crispy, hell you can put just about anything in it and it comes out delicious. It’s not that big though. You can make enough food for two people but definitely no more than that.
Easy to clean as you just lift the metal plate out in the bottom of it and solid build, which the Ninja brand is well known for. Also very simple to use and quick to heat up.
We had a Philips air fryer before we upgraded .. I must say it’s one of the best things I have purchased all year. You can cook so many different foods in it.. also when the kids would like chicken nuggets or chips, it takes very little time to hear up and cook. I have cooked the kids a meal in under 10 minutes..
You will not be disappointed with your purchase.. trust me .
My 5 year old Philips Avance XL packed it in and started autonomously changing the temperature and the time when it would get hot. I not sure if the AI inside became sentient, it was hacked or just malfunctioned. I needed a replacement. I had my eye on Ninja Foodi for awhile but since we already have a InstantPot, I decided just to look at Airfryers. This one had good reviews, and it was on Flash Sale for 99 for the first time, so I pulled the trigger.
Some reviews complained about rubbery/plasticy smell, so I ran the Airfryer empty couple of times for 10 minute cycle on MaxCrisp, which is the highest heat. There was a slight initial whiff of plasticy smell, but when I cooked with it there was none.
Compared to my old Philips:
– the Ninja Max is quieter.
– It’s roughly the same size volume wise but the footprint is a tad smaller and it seems to be a bit higher. I’d say this slightly better for a smaller kitchen.
– so far it hasn’t smoked, unlike the Philips
– more range with time/temp
– dehydration option, which is the reason I went and wanted to try this one
– the cooking area’s bottom shape is round vs more squarish on Philips, and it seems a tad smaller, but it is also a bit higher
– No grill rack came with the purchase, but the one I got for Philips fit in well. I noticed when using it to cook bacon, the top layer did get crispier quicker, most likely due to better air circulation
– The pot mechanism is quite different to Philips. Philips has a pan with a metal mesh bottom and lifts up from the deeper pan which can also be removed. This leaves a front plate on a track. This also means there’s more exposure to outside. I regularly had to clean under the Philips, as brown grease would apparently heat up, fly around and then drip down inside the machine and on the countertop between the pan and the inner wall. Ninja has a solid inner floor and the whole pan comes out fully. Inside the pan there’s the grill plate. I believe this design prevents the leakage of grease on to the countertop. It’s nicer to clear the machine inside and out, than notice after a couple of weeks that there a puddle of grease under the fryer.
So far, so good.
I which Ninja would make a multi layer rack for maximising cooking bacon and for dehydrating.
I’m a heavy meat eater (I eat carnivore at the moment) and my daily routine has been radically changed for the better by buying this machine. The ease and practicality of cooking meat in the air fryer is unheard of, it’s so lazy, clean-up is a breeze, and most importantly the meat tastes incredibly good. I’ve tried another air fryer from an unknown brand, and the bottom of the frying pan started to peel off (ugh… teflon is not good in food). But thankfully, this air fryer has a ceramic pan which is dishwasher safe and doesn’t peel! The meat cooks quickly and evenly, even from frozen, which is amazing. I can cook different sorts of meat, without adding fat to the fryer. The meat becomes crisp, browned and is really, really good. If you are a heavy meat eater, you need this, for other foods I haven’t tried it yet. I think I’ve regained hours per week, I never use the oven or my cast iron pan anymore, which saves me on clean up, preparation, cook times and planning & mental space. I don’t have to think ahead, just reheat the fryer for 3 minutes then put some meat in it, 12 minutes later it’s done, voil!
Some reviewers speak of a plastic smell. Indeed, the first 5 or 6 times I used it I could smell a ‘new car smell’ when I was done, but it was not very noticeable. After about a week though it was completely gone.
I’m from Belgium, and use an adapter and no problem there.
I would highly recommend this machine to anyone who wants easier and convenient yet delicious cooking.
Love it! The tastiest healthiest chips in 20 mins. Also did the kids their favourite of chicken nuggets and potato waffles in 20 minutes. Nice and crispy, no grease, wish I’d bought it ages ago. Next to try chicken and some broccoli in i
Great buy, absolutely love this air fryer. Very easy to use. Can’t get over how crisp things are in it and how quick it is.
Decent size for family cooking. Good for chips and sweet potato fries. So easy for sausages and bacon which usually cause a greasy mess. Handy for reheating food such as pizza. So easy to clean, just wipe out the bowl and go. It’s also not too bulky so I just leave it out on the hob
I was planning on buying an air fryer for some time and after a lot of research, decided on ninja. It is just fantastic! Easy to use, no preheating necessary, cooks fries from frozen in less than 10 minutes. Large Basket, Digital controls. Lightweight but durable and very easy to clean. I suggest cleaning it straight after each use to keep it in the best condition. Highly recommended. If you’re looking for an air fryer you won’t be disappointed.
I have one of the first models of Philips Airfryer and have had it for several years now. After the microwave and kettle it is the appliance I use the most. Yes it’s great for making french fries with barely any oil, but it’s also fantastic for heating and crisping up anything frozen like breadrolls, pies, frozen chicken, hamburges patties, sausages etc. The beauty of the air fryer is that becuase it has a very large element, a small cooking area and a powerful fan, it heats up incredibly quickly. Frozen foods are cooked in half the suggested time. And no waiting for 20 minutes for the oven to warm up. 2-3 minutes and the air fryer is pre-heated. It’s a must for singles who only need to cook small amounts as well as for families where you can do a portion of fries in one go. I defrost frozen rolls in the microwave for 30 seconds and then pop them in the airfryer for 5 minutes and they’re perfect.
My top tip is to make sure you have good ventilation. I use mine placed on top of a breadboard on the cooker with the extractor fan on. The high heat blows out air saturated with oil and smoke which you dont want in the kitchen. So forget the glossy pictures of using it on a counter top. Especially if you are making fries.
So how does this Ninja Air Fryer compare to the Philips?
Well inside the parts look almost identical. The only major differences are:
The Ninja has a digital display and buttons rather than a manual temperature dial and a timer dial.
The Ninja has a wider temperature range and goes up to 210 degrees celsius (max temp for Philips is 200)
The Ninja has an extra setting for dehydrating fruits and vegetables or making jerky.
The most noticeable difference is the frying basket. The ninjas basket is round (which is great as it is much easier to clean than the Philips which is square with ridges) and it has an insert to lift food from the bottom whereas the Philips has a basket that lifts out with a mesh bottom. There are pros and cons to the Ninja design. It’s much easier to clean but the insert has wider slots in it and smaller fries can fall through the holes or get stuck in it.
The other difference is when you open the fryer to check on the cooking progress the Ninja automatically stops and starts again once the basket is put back whereas the Philips just keeps on going.
They both have the same wattage (around 1500 watts)
Ninja has slightly larger capacity 900g fries versus 800g for the original Philips.
The Ninja is competitively priced but the original model Philips is also more affordable now that larger and digital models have come out. At time of writing this review the Ninja was coming out cheapest though.
In terms of performance they are identical. Philips maybe has a very slight edge on getting things crispier due to better airflow because of the mesh basket but that also makes it more difficult to clean.
Whats in the box:
The airfryer with UK plug
Instruction booklet and recipe booklet
All in all, if you don’t have an airfryer yet, get one. This is a great one to start with.
