Would be 5 stars but for a couple of niggles:
1)The thermostat and diverter controls work very well but the engraved legend on them is tiny and hard to see (especially in a wet shower environment). Not a problem for regular users but in a guest bathroom for instance the users will have difficulty reading it and be instead relying on trial and error to get the right temp and diverter setting. Not a massive issue but could easily have been solved with more legible markings.
2) Initially we were getting a leak where the pipework feeds from the thermostatic bar to shower rainhead and handset. This is because it is very hard to tighten the nut properly. It is has a design with a couple of small, flat faces on a large, round nut. Unfortunately a monkey wrench is too “fat” to fit this slim nut without damaging surrounding chrome. Only a very flat spanner could really work and we did not have one with the appropriate size (approx 28mm). Luckily my bathroom installer was able to take a slightly smaller spanner and had the metal working tools to cut it to be wide enough. Very disappointing that Nuie did not supply an appropriate tool for this job which is so specialised for fitting this shower.
Looks really good. Seems solid and well-made. Rainhead and shower handset both work very well and adjustments to height of both are intuitive and easy to make. Very pleased with it and it seems very good for the price.
